        THERRESTRIAL IMPACT CRATERING CHRONOLOGY: A PRELIMINARY ANALYSIS

        We have recently compiled a database of the properties of 192 impact craters, which supercedes previous compilations. Using our database, the impact structures found in North America, Europe and Australia have been examined; these cratonic areas have been relatively stable for considerably long geological periods, and thus have been best preserved. It is confirmed that there is a close correlation between the geological epoch boundaries, the epochs of mass extinctions, antral the "timing" of impacts. In addition, the terrestrial cumulative flux of objects >20km is found to be $1.77{\times}10^{-15}km^{-2}yr^{-1}$, over the last 120 Myr, which is much smaller than the published values in McEwen et al. (1997) and Shoemaker (1998) ($5.6{\pm}2.8{\times}10^{-15}km^{-2}yr^{-1}$. For terrestrial impact structures with D> 50 km, the apparent cumulative flux over the last 2450 Myr is ~50 times smaller than the corresponding value for the Moon. If we assume that the Earth and the Moon suffered the same level of bombardment over this time, this would mean that the actual flux of impacting bodies, capable of making craters with D)50 km, was ~ 50 times larger than the apparent flux estimated from the currently known terrestrial records.

        There are two common problems that the mordern cities have. One is to how he citizens are effecially interested in the cultural remains in the cities. The other is to how the people who have the architectural treasure in the cities don't convert these into economical property values, but have a preserving awareness It is the tendency that the historical cultural environment is gradually incorporate into the area of the cities according to rapid increase in papulation and the diffuseness of the city. In this process some people think that the valuable historical architectural treasure is an obstacle in devising the city planning. This thesis is to how effecially preserve and applicate thet Taejon,s historical cultural environment. In this thesis it has made up questions to 1,134persons of Taejon citizents to what extent were rocognizing the local historical archtecural treasure. the questionnaires items were divided under five heads as follows. 1) the cognition about Taejon's historcal architectural treasure 2) The satisfaction to the preservation status 3) the opinion about the application plan The population characteristcs of effective answers were devided into sex, age, education level, occupation, occupation of architecture, duration of residence in Taejon, residential district, etc. The content of questionnaires were analyzed in chapter6 in detail. To preserve the historical cultural environment of cities is troublesome and complicated works right now, but it is our's duties and resposibilities to do necessaily. In this thesis (Ⅰ) it will be find the method to high up the recognition about the historical cultural environment on the basis of this recognition reserch and frame the architectural planning about the effective preservation and application plan.

        The SCAG(Simulator of Computer Architecture using Graphics)is a tool for the ease understanding of a computer architecture system. It is made up three parts-SM(Simple Mornltor). AM(Abstract Machine) and Gp(Graphic Processor). The Am is a conceptual machine without input/output devices for the simplicity. Using SM, the main memory in the AM is manipulated. A program is loaded in the main memory, and the content of it is displayed or modified with the SM. Then the program is executed with the AM. the GP depicts the status of AM as it is operated.

        Chromatographic retention behavior and separation of various phenol derivatives on a Partisil 10 ODS 3 column-with mobile phase containing a-cyclodextrin-were systematically studied. The decrease in k' values caused by the addition of cyclodextrins in the mobile phase was based on the formation of an inclusion complex, resulting in weakening of the hydrophobic interaction between solutes and the stationary phase. The content of the organic solvent in the mobile phase also influenced k' values of the solutes, and k' values increased with a decrease of the content of organic solvent in the mobile phase. A simple equation has been derived that reveals the hyperbolic dependence of the capacity factor on the total concentration of cyclodextrin. A plot of the reciprocal of the capacity factor against (CD)_(T) gives a straight line and the dissociation constant, K_(p), of the inclusion complex can be calculated from the slope. The capacity factor decreased with increasing temperature. The enthalpy was calculated from the slope of van't Hoff plots. Under optimum conditions, some mixtures of phenol derivatives were able to separated successfully

      • 大麻 低마약형 신품종 "청삼"의 육성경위 및 주요특성

        대마의 저 마약형 신품종을 육성하고자 대마초의 환각성분에 대한 국내의 문헌을 수집하여 고찰하여 저마약형 대마 신품종 "청삼(Cheungsam)"을 육성하였던 바 이것들을 요약하면 다음과 같다. 가. 목포시험장에서 1997년 네덜란드 CPRO에서 도입한 44품종의 저 마약형 유전자원중 IH3이 THC 함량이 낮고 개화일수도 한국재래종과 비슷하여 경장과 섬유수량도 다른 도입품종들에 비해 크고 많아 육종재료로 유망시 되었다. 나. 저 마약형인 IH3를 모본으로 하고 한국 재래종을 부본으로 교배한 1대잡종 품종을 육성하여 무안 등 4개 지역에서 지역적응시험을 실시한 결과 특성이 우수하고 저 마약형으로 분류되어 이를 "청삼"으로 명명하여 신품종으로 등록하였다. 다. "첨상" 품종은 섬유수량은 190kg/10a로 재래종의 177kg/10a에 비하여 7% 중수되었고, 환각성분인 THC(Δ-9-Tetrahydrocannabinol)함량이 0.34%로 재래종의 1.74%보다 적고 환각억제성분인 CBD(Cannabidiol)함량은 1.34%로 재래종의 0.57%보다 많아 저 마약형으로 분류할 수 있다. 라. "청삼" 종자를 IH3의 자웅이주종자를 이용하여 채종하면 종실수량이 103kg/10a이지만 자성종자 채종기술을 이용하여 채종하면 146kg/10a로 채종량이 42% 증가하였다. In order to develop a new variety of fiber hemp(Cannabis sativa L.) with non-drug type, the authors reviewed several literatures about marihuana or hemp, and bred a new variety with non-drug type. This variety was named as "Cheungsam" and resitered as a recommening variety in Korea. This paper introduce the breeding history and characteristics of the fiber hemp variety "Cheungsam" with non-drug type. Among the 44 introduced germplasms from CPRO, Netherland, only IH3 was suitable variety because of it's good traits including low THC content, similar flowering days to Korean local variety and good fiber yield. IH3 and Korean local variety were crossed to develop a new non-drug type hemp, and we developed a new variety named "Cheungsam". This variety have good plant characteristics and fiber yield with low THC content. The average fiber yield of "Cheungsam" was 190kg/10a in regional fiber yield trials, which was 7% higher than that of "Korean local variety". "Korean local variety" contains 1.74% of THC which is the psychoactive ingredient and 0.57% of CBD the anti-psychoactive ingredient, thus that cultivar was sorted to drug type hemp. But "Cheungsam" contains 0.34% of THC and 1.34% of CBD so that sorted as a non-drug type hemp. If farmers want to harvest more seed of "Cheungsam", using female seed of IH3 is better than that of the dioecious seed because of the high seed yield.

      • 폴리우레탄 포옴에 의한 유기성 공해물질의 흡착성에 관한 연구

        A open- pore polyuretane foam was investigated as adsorbent for organic pollutants. The distribution coefficients have been determined by batch method to study the adsorption mechanism of organic compounds on open- pore polyurethanc foam by changing pH and methanol percentage of the medium. It seems that the adsorption behaviors of organic compounds on open- pore polyurethane foam are due to van der waals attraction, dipole- dipole interaction and hydrogen bonding additionally between the organic molecule and foam matrix in comparison with Amberlite XAD- 2.

      • DCT를 이용한 Motion-JPEG 과 MPEG 압축 Dynamic Video의 세분화 통합 연구

        The purpose of the image compression is to compress the data as best as we can, as well as to maintain the quality, the clarity and the brevity of the data admitted in the original image. Therefore, it can be used to compress the image data in the various proportion by removing the overlapping, which the image data involves, or by narrowing the bandwidth of correspondence channel in case of image transmission; to transmit and store the large amount of image data by making use of the minimum storage buffer. In recent, a number of algorithms were suggested for the compression of image data. But they chiefly focused on the improvement of compressibility, so that the restoration of original image had not a few problems. The image data, in this study, is processed on the DC sequence without decompression processing made on the JPEG, the MPEG dynamic graphic screen, which is the problem of the image compression making use of descrete cosine transform, the standard of JPEG, in case of the image restoration. And this thesis describes the algorithm trying to find out the screen which is changing abruptly and gradually on the JPEG and the MPEG compressed dynamic screen. The DC images (the small-changed part of the original image data) include almost all important data. The processing by DC images leads to thesaving of calculating time. The simulation experiment indicated that the algorithm suggested in this study was much more rapid and efficient to find out the abrupt, gradual changing screen than the former other algorithms.

      • 명령문 다중 발진 논리 시스템의 상호연결망 설계

        명령문 다중 발진논리에 따라서 동시에 발진되는 명령문수를 측정하고, 이들의 빈도수를 분석하였다. 이를 토대로 발진논리 장치와 연산장치간의 상호연결망을 제안하였다. 추적을 이용한 시뮬레이션 결과는 1개 또는 2개의 명령문을 동시에 발진시키는 경우가 93.23%이고, 3개 또는 4개를 동시에 발진시키는 경우가 6.76%이었다. 이중버스구조보다는 4경로의 다중 버스구조가 모든 발진형태를 수용할 수 있으므로, 본 시스템의 상호연결망으로 최적임을 확인하였다. We counted the number of issued instructions in a cpu cycle under the multiple instruction issue logic, and analyzed the frequencies of them. An interconnection network between the issue logic unit and functional units was proposed with this analysis. It is 93.23% for the ratio of frequency to issue 1 or 2 instructions, and 6.76% to issue 3 or 4 instructions in a cpu cycle, by the result using the simulation. A 4-way multiple bus structure is better than a dual bus structure in this system, since it is useful for all issue pattern.
