Chronic disease is linked to patient’s’ lifestyle. Therefore, doctor has to monitor his/her patient over time. This may involve reviewing many reports, finding any changes, and modifying several treatments. One solution to optimize the burden is using a visualizing tool over time such as a timeline-based visualization tool where all reports and medicine are integrated in a problem centric and time-based style to enable the doctor to predict and adjust the treatment plan. This solution was proposed by Bui et. al. [2] to observe the medical history of a patient. However, there was limitation of studying the diabetes patient’s history to find out what was the cause of the current development in patient’s condition; moreover what would be the prediction of current implication in one of the diabetes’ related factors (such as fat, cholesterol, or potassium). In this paper, we propose a Grid-based Interactive Diabetes System (GIDS) to support bioinformatics analysis application for diabetes diseases. GIDS used an agglomerative clustering algorithm as clustering correlation algorithm as primary algorithm to focus medical researcher in the findings to predict the implication of the undertaken diabetes patient. The algorithm was Chronological Clustering proposed by P. Legendre [11] [12].
Ultralow Lattice Thermal Conductivity and Enhanced Thermoelectric Performance in SnTe:Ga Materials

<P>Ultralow thermal conductivity is of great interest in a variety of fields, including thermoelectric energy conversion. We report, for the first time, experimental evidence that Ga-doping in SnTe may lower the lattice thermal conduction slightly below the theoretical amorphous minimum at high temperature. Such an effect is justified by the spontaneous formation of nanoprecipitates we characterized as GaTe. Remarkably, the introduction of Ga (2-10%) in SnTe also improves the electronic transport properties by activating several hole pockets in the multivalley valence band. Experimental results are supported by density functional theory calculations. The thermoelectric figure of merit, ZT, reaches similar to 1 at 873 K in Sn0.96Ga0.07Te, which corresponds to an similar to 80% improvement with respect to pure SnTe.</P>

The aim of this study was to evaluate the effect of exercise-based cardiac rehabilitation on pro- and anti-inflammatory markers in patients with acute coronary syndrome (ACS). ACS patients who underwent percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI) and took medicine during phase II of rehabilitation were recruited for study. Subjects were divided into two groups; exercise group (EX, n=21) and a non-exercise group (non-EX, n=13). Supervised exercise program in hospital consisted of treadmill and bicycle exercise was performed three times per week for 6 weeks. Patients of EX received individual counseling, including knowledge of heart disease, risk factor modification, and physical training. Cardiopulmonary fitness, body composition, and biochemical blood factors were analyzed before and after experiment. There was no significant difference in serum levels of hs-CRP and TGF-β1 between groups, and between time intervals. But there was a significant decrease in serum levels of IL-18 (P<.001). And there was a significant increase in ratio of IL-18 to IL-10 (P<.01) and serum levels of IL-10 (P<.001). After cardiac rehabilitation, there was significant increase in exercise duration (P<.001), maximal oxygen uptake (VO2peak; P<.001) and decrease in submaximal rate-pressure product (sRPP; P<.05) in EX. In conclusion, exercise-based cardiac rehabilitation during phase II in patients with ACS after PCI decreased serum IL-18 (pro-inflammatory) content and ratio of IL-18 to IL-10 in serum (highly related with disease recurrence), and increased serum IL-10 (anti-inflammatory) content. In addition, it led to improved cardiopulmonary fitness.

Enhanced Secure Transaction Protocol for IoT Devices via LTE Network

Internet of Thing (IoT) and NFC (Near Field Communication) have got a good adaptable structure that it can be easily combined with any wireless network. Since IoT/NFC can be used to communicate wirelessly with all the transactions that can be done remotely without any physical connections. In this paper, we propose an enhanced secure IoT/NFC protocol based on LTE network that enhances the original security level provided by the LTE. Our approach is new in a sense that it covers LTE in contrast to old networks like GSM and 3G, which substantially treated in the literature. Moreover, both GSM and 3G have several drawbacks when they are combined with the NFC technology, which has potential weakness in confidentiality, integrity, and authentication. Hence our new approach will resolve the security of the new LTE system. We expect that our protocol will result in new secure applications for the smart phone markets.

프롭테크 서비스에 대한 부동산 시장 소비자의 수용의도 형성에 관한 연구

본 연구의 목적은 부동산 시장에 전통적인 방식의 부동산 서비스와 새롭게 부상하고 있는 프롭테크를 기반으로 하는 서비스가 혼재되어 있는 과도기적인 상황에서 혁신 서비스가 부동산시장 소비자에게 합리적이고 효율적으로 수용될 수 있도록, 확장된 통합기술수용이론(UTAUT2) 모형을 이용해 프롭테크 서비스 수용 의도에 대한 영향요인과 조절효과를 분석하고, 이를 바탕으로 시사점을 도출해 프롭테크 활성화와 부동산산업의 선진화를 위한 제언을 하는 것이다. 본 연구는 선행 연구를 바탕으로 문헌연구 및 실증분석을 병행하여 가설 변수와 프롭테크 서비스 수용 의도 간 관계를 분석하였다. 그 결과 성과기대, 노력기대, 쾌락적 동기 변수가 프롭테크 서비스 수용 의도에 있어 유의한 영향력을 보였다. 또한 조절변수인 성별, 연령, 직무관련성이 프롭테크 서비스 수용 의도에 모두 유의한 조절효과를 보였다. In the real estate market, where traditional real estate services and new PropTech services are mixed, the purpose of this study is to make a proposal for the advancement of the real estate industry, through the analysis of the factors affecting the adoption and the moderating effect of PropTech service, using the extended Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology (UTAUT2) model, to revitalize PropTech and enable innovative technologies related to real estate to be reasonably and efficiently accepted by the real estate market customers. This study analyzed the relationship between hypothetical variables and intention to accept technology with literature research and empirical analysis based on previous research. The results of the study are as followings. First, the variable of ‘Performance Expectancy’ and ‘Hedonic Motivation’ had the greatest influence on the acceptance intention of PropTech sercive. Second, the moderating variables such as ‘Gender’, ‘Age’, and ‘Job Relevance’ all had a significant moderating effect on the intention to accept PropTech service.
