      • 전남 진도연안에서 조망어구에 채집된 어류 종조성과 계절변동

        The fishes were caught by beam trawl from December, 1999 to November, 2000 in coastal waters off Jindo. A total of 15,863 fishes were sampled and classified into 87 species, 46 families, and 10 orders. Of the 12 orders, Scorpaeniformes, Perciformes, Pleuronectiformes accounted for approximately 70.0% of the fishes in this area. Of 87 species identified, Erisphex pottii, Collichthys niveatus, Johnius grypotus, Acanthogobius flavimanus, Synechogobius hasta accounted for 74.6% of the fishes collected. The highest number of individuals was found in fall, while the lowest in spring. The richness index was the highest in winter(RI=7.447) and the lowest in fall(RI=3.985). The evenness index was the highest in spring(E=0.784) and the lowest in fall(E=0.412). The diversity index was the highest in winter(H’=3.058) and the lowest in fall(H’=1.499).

        피부병변과 다발성 뇌경색을 동반한 특발성 호산구 증다증 1예

        Idiopathic hypereosinophilic syndrome (IHES) is a rare systemic disorder that`s characterized by peripheral eosinophilia and eosinophilic infiltration of multiple organs, including the heart, lungs, skin, liver, gastrointestinal tract and nervous system. IHES is associated with a broad range of clinical findings, depending on the involved organ and the severity of the infiltration. The diverse modes of clinical presentation occasionally lead to a false clinical diagnosis. There are no specific tests for diagnosing IHES, and the therapies remain controversial. In this report, we describe a 34-year-old man with IHES that was associated with multiple brain infarctions in both cerebral and cerebellar hemispheres. Five months earlier, the patient presented with erythematous scaly hyperkeratotic skin lesions on both legs. He was treated with anticoagulation therapy, aspirin and topical corticosteroid for about 1 month. All his symptoms and signs dramatically improved, except for the persistent peripheral eosinophilia. On follow-up after 8 months, the patient remained well without relapse or new lesions. (Korean J Med 74:336-341, 2008)

      • 태평양 적도해역에서의 다랑어주낙 어획성능

        In order to investigate the change on fishing ability of tuna long line, the fishing data, by the long line of which lower branch line was made of Nylon braded rope and the other parts were done Nylon monofilament, used 4,486 times by nine vessels during 41 Months from May 1997 to Oct 2000, in the equatorial region of pacific ocean were collected and analyzed. The analysis produced the results as follows; 1) The mean catch by a fishing operation, the mean number of fishes caught by a fishing operation, the mean weight of fishes caught and the mean number of fishes caught by 100 pieces of hooks were 1,055kg, 31.9kg, 33.1kg, and 1.3, respectively. 2) According to region, the mean catch by a fishing operation was 1,171kg in Region I (L 0~Sl0°, Long. 180~W160°) and 816kg in Region V (L 0~N10°, Long. W140~W120°). 3) The division in fish caught by the long line gave that bigeye tuna was 61.1%, yellowfin tuna was 29.6%, and the other fishes were 9.3%. 4) A catch of bigeye tuna, most expensive in tunas, weighed 40kg or more, and small highly in east Region from W160°.

      • 살조개, Protothaca jedoensis 초기치패의 저질 및 먹이생물별 성장

        In order to obtain the basic information for artificial seedling production of venus clam, Protothaca jedoensis, growth and survival rate were investigated by substratum composition on spat collection, and species and concentration of food organisms during spat stage. The optimal substratum for spat collection was the sand size (Ø0.5-2 ㎜) showing that the highest growth and survival rate of spat were 493.2±0.4 ㎛, 13.0±0.9 %, respectively. As for spat rearing by four species of food organism (phytoplankton), Isochrysis galbana, Chaetoceros calcitrans, Monochrysis lutheri, and Pavlova lutheri were used singularly and the mixture of the four species was used. The highest growth and survival rates were observed in the Isochrysis galbana (1644.2±0.8 ㎛, 79.7±2.3 %), and followed by mixture group, Chaetoceros calcitrans, Monochrysis lutheri, and Pavlova lutheri. In the concentration of the four mixed food organisms on spat rearing, the highest growth and survival rates were observed in the concentration of 1×104 cells/㎖ (1637.0±1.0 ㎛, 75.0±0.9 %), and followed by 2×104 cells/㎖, 4×104 cells/㎖, and 0.5×104 cells/㎖. 살조개, Protothaca jedoensis의 인공종묘생산 기술개발을 목적으로 생물학적 기초자료를 얻고자 저질입도별 채묘 및 치패사육에서 먹이생물의 종류와 농도에 따른 성장과 생존율을 조사하였다. 저질입도별 채묘에서 최적 채묘기질은 극조립사(Ø0.5-2㎜)로 가장 높은 성장(493.2±0.4㎛)과 생존율(13.0±0.9%)을 보였다. 먹이생물별 치패사육에서 Isochrysis galbana가 가장 높은 성장(1644.0±0.8㎛)과 생존율(79.7±2.3%)을 보였으며, 혼합구, Chaetoceros calcitrans, Monochrysis lutheri, Pavlova lutheri 순으로 나타났다. 먹이생물(혼합) 농도별 치패사육에서 1×104cells/㎖가 가장 높은 성장((1637.0±1.0㎛)과 생존율(75.0±0.9%)을 보였으며, 2×104cells/㎖, 4×104cells/㎖, 0.5×104cells/㎖ 순으로 나타났다.

        In order to obtain the basic information for artificial seedling production of venus clam, Prototlzaca jedoensis, gonadal maturation was induced by different temperature, and fertilization and hatching rate were investigated by various stimulating methods for spawning induction. The gonadal maturation induction was evaluated by percentage of follicle and oocyte area on the ovary of the female through the histological observation of gonadal tissue at 18℃ and 22℃. The percentage of follicle area was the maximum value (96.38±1.36%) in 16 May and oocyte area was 74.67±3.67% at 22℃. Serotonin injection stimulus could induce the spawning in venus clam. Water temperature rising, air dry, pulse spawning(gonad incision), sperm suspension solution, UV irradiated seawater, and NH₄OH, H₂O₂addition were not effective. Serotonin injection and temperature rising were responsed 70%, 100%, respectively. The response time to initial spawning in the serotonin injection stimulus(10⁻⁴M) was within 3 minutes on female and 2 minutes on male. The highest fertilization and hatching rate was 95.5%, 87.2%, respectively.

      • 꼬막(Tegillarca granosa)의 난 발생 및 유생 발달

        꼬막, Tegillarca granosa의 인공종묘생산 기술개발을 목적으로 생물학적 기초자료를 얻고자 난 발생 및 유생발달에 미치는 환경조건을 조사하였다. 꼬막의 방출된 알은 70㎛의 분리침성란이었고, 난발생의 최적 환경조건은 수온20-30℃, 염분 30-35psu, pH 7-8로 나타났다. 유생의 최적 사육조건은 수온 25-27℃, 밀도 4-6indiv./㎖, 먹이생물 Isochrysis galbana를 혼합하여 급이 하는 것으로 나타났다. 대량 유생사육은 수온 28℃에서 먹이생물 Isochrysis galbana, Tetraselmis suecica, Phaeodactylum sp., Chaetoceros calcitrans를 혼합하여 1-5×104/㎖로 급이하며 사육하여 24일째에 270㎛로 성장하였다. 난과 유생의 발달은 수온 28℃에서 수정 후 상실기유생(6시간), 담륜자유생(10시간), D형유생(20시간, 90㎛), 초기각정기유생(10일, 120㎛), 중기각정기유생(15일, 160㎛), 후기각정기유생(19일, 180㎛), 침착각 정기유생(24일, 270㎛)으로 성장하였다. In order to obtain the basic biological information of artificial seedling production on the ark shell, Tegillarca granosa, the early developmental morphology was investigated on environment and rearing conditions. Eggs of the ark shell were demersal and 60 ㎛ in diameter after spawning. Optimum environment conditions (water temperature, salinity, and pH) of egg development, were ranged 20-30 ℃, 30-35 psu, and 7-8, respectively. As for optimum rearing condition on larvae development, water temperature, stocking density, and food organisms were 25-27℃, 4-6 ind./㎖, and the mixture of phytoplanktons (mainly Isochrysis galbana), respectively. On 24 day after fertilization, the larvae grew up to 270 ㎛ in the shell length (SL) when larvae were fed by mixture of phytoplanktons (Isochrysis galbana, Tetraselmis suecica, Phaeodactylum sp., and Chaetoceros calcitrans) in the concentration of 1-5×104 cells/㎖ at 28℃. At 28 ℃, fertilized eggs were developed to morula, trochophore, D-shaped (90 ㎛ SL), early umbo (120 ㎛ SL), middle umbo (160 ㎛ SL), post umbo (180 ㎛ SL), and immension umbo (270 ㎛ SL) stages at 6 hours, 10 hours, 20 hours, 10 days, 15 days, 18 days, and 24 days, respectively.

        소화기 ; 대구, 경북 지역 Helicobacter pylori 일차 및 이차 치료의 연도별 제균율 변화: 최근 9년 성적

        목적: 최근 H. pylori의 항생제 내성률이 증가하고 있으나, 각 지역별로 H. pylori 일차 삼제요법에 의한 제균율의 변화추세에 대한 연구가 부족한 실정이다. 이번 연구에서 대구 경북지역의 단일기관의 최근 9년간 H. pylori 제균율의 변화추세를 조사하였다. 방법: 1999년 1월부터 2007년 12월까지 H. pylori 양성으로 진단받고 일주일간 일차 제균 요법을 시행한 615명의 환자의 제균율을 연도, 궤양 위치에 따라 후향적으로 조사하였다. 결과: 전체 환자의 H. pylori 제균율은 81.6%였다. 궤양 위치와 PPI의 종류에 따른 제균율의 차이는 없었다. Per-protocol 분석에 의한 연도별 제균율은 1999, 2000, 2001, 2002, 2003, 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007년에 각각 76.3%, 78.3%, 82.8%, 88.5%, 77.8%, 91.7%, 84.8%, 75.4%, 83.7%였다. 최근 9년간 제균율의 차이는 없었다(p=0.760). 결론: 대구 경북지역에서 일차 제균 치료로서 PPI를 기본으로 하는 삼제 병합요법은 최근 9년 동안 제균율 변화 경향을 보이지 않아 아직까지 유용한 치료법으로 생각되나, 절대적인 치료효과가 낮아 향후 새로운 치료법을 찾기 위한 더 많은 연구가 필요할 것으로 생각한다. Background/Aims: The reported prevalence of antibiotic resistance in Helicobacter pylori infection has been increasing. However, recent trends in the eradication rates of H. pylori using first-line triple regimens are rarely reported. Therefore, we determined the trend in the H. pylori eradication rates in a single center for the most recent 9 years in Daegu and Kyungpook provinces, Korea. Methods: From January 1999 through December 2007, the eradication rates in 615 H. pylori-positive patients who received one-week triple regimens were evaluated retrospectively according to year and ulcer location. Results: The overall H. pylori eradication rate was 81.6%. The eradication rate from the years 1999 to 2007 was 76.3, 78.3, 82.8, 88.5, 77.8, 91.7, 84.8, 75.4, and 83.7%, respectively, based on the per-protocol analysis. No definite evidence of a decreasing tendency of the eradication rate was seen over the 9 years (p=0.760). Furthermore, there was no significant difference in the eradication rate according to ulcer location. Conclusions: There is no decreasing trend in the H. pylori eradication rate over the past 9 years in Daegu and Kyungpook provinces. However, the eradication rates are not satisfactory, and further investigation is needed to develop more effective regimens.

        여자만 저층트롤 어획실태와 종조성

        2005년도의 봄(3월), 여름(6월), 가을(9월), 겨울(12월)에 여자만의 5개 정점에 대해 저층트롤(bottom trawl)을 이용하여 모두 20회의 어획시험 조사를 실시하였다. 어획된 어종은 어류 70종, 갑각류 30종, 두족류 8종, 기타 7종을 포함하여 총 115종이었고, 어획중량은 1,187.9kg이었다. 종류별 개체수와 어획중량은 어류 18,602개체, 445.9kg, 갑각류 65,942개체, 236.2kg, 두족류 1,575개체 50.0kg, 아무르불가사리를 포함한 기타 455.8㎏이 어획되었다. 그 중에서 단일 종으로 가장 많이 어획된 아무르불가사리는 6,622개체, 450.3kg으로 19,729inds./km2, 1,341.6kg/km2이 분포하고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 새고막, 고막, 피조개 등 여자만 내 면허어업 중 86%를 차지하는 패류 양식어업과 여자만 생태계에 미치는 영향이 매우 크므로 하루 빨리 이를 구제할 수 있도록 노력하여야 할 것으로 판단된다. 정점별 어획시험에서는 여자만 입구(St. 4)에서 어획량이 가장 많았고 여자만 중간 해역(St. 2)에서 가장 낮게 나타났으며, 계절별 어획시험에서는 하계와 추계에 어획량이 높게 나타내는 것은 수온 상승과 함께 어군이 유입 된 것으로 생각된다. 어류 중에서 우점종이면서 유용 어종인 갯장어와 보구치의 체장조성에서는 대부분이 성숙체장 이하의 소형개체가 어획되는 것으로 보아서 여자만은 갯장어와 보구치의 성육장으로 생각된다. 따라서 수산생물의 산란장 및 서식지 보호를 위해 지정된 여자만 수산자원보호구역 내에서 지속적인 모니터링과 더불어 생태계 회복을 위한 기초단계로 자원관리가 필요한 실정이다. Fishes were caught by a bottom trawl in the Yeo-ja bay of Korea by every three month(March, June, September and December) and seasonal variation of abundance and species composition were studied in 2005. The catches were 1,187kg and were composed of 115 species with 20 hauls by 5 stations. The dominant species caught were Charybdis bimcaulata, Crangon hakodatei, Parapenaeus fissurus, Oratosguilla oratoria, and Thryssa purava. One hundred fifty species were identified as fish(38%), crustacea(20%), mollusca(4%) and others(38%) which including of Asterias amurensis. The amount of species was high in June and September and low in March and December. The diversity index(H``) was about 1.2-2.5 and station similarity of fishes caught among the community was 0.009-0.230.
