본 논문에서는 모델 히스토그램 개수를 적응적으로 조절하는 블록기반의 배경 모델링 방법을 제안한다. 기존의 블록 기반의 배경 모델링 방법은 각 블록에 대한 모델 히스토그램의 개수를 고정한다. 따라서 조명변화와 움직이는 객체에 대해 오검출이 발생하는 문제가 있고 움직임이 없는 객체에 대해서는 검출이 되지 않는 문제가 있다. 또한 입력영상의 종류마다 달라질 수 있는 최적의 모델 히스토그램의 개수를 수동적으로 찾아야 하는 문제가 있다. 본 논문에서는 실험을 통해 엘리베이터 내에서 조명변화가 있고 객체가 움직이는 상황과 조명변화가 없고 객체가 정지해 있는 상황에 대해 기존의 방법과 성능을 비교하여 제안한 알고리즘의 효용성을 입증한다. In this paper, an improved block-based background modeling technique using adaptive parameter estimation that judiciously adjusts the number of model histograms at each frame sequence is proposed. The conventional block-based background modeling method has a fixed number of background model histograms, resulting to false negatives when the image sequence has either rapid illumination changes or swiftly moving objects, and to false positives with motionless objects. In addition, the number of optimal model histogram that changes each type of input image must have found manually. We demonstrate the proposed method is promising through representative performance evaluations including the background modeling in an elevator environment that may have situations with rapid illumination changes, moving objects, and motionless objects.

At the end of the 19th century, Edison’s DC power system and Tesla’s AC power system was debated in power market. Finally, AC system became the primary system of the power market because both step-up and step-down of voltage by using transformer and long-distance power transmission are easily possible. However, nowadays the power market takes some action for introducing DC system. Both domestic and foreign researchers are conducting the study on the DC system as well. Some researchers have conducted the studies on power quality and economic evaluation of the DC distribution system but DC distribution system is still controversial in terms of the effectiveness and reliability. In this paper, we calculate the reliability indices of the Low Voltage Direct Current(LVDC) distribution system considering arrangement of power electronics, layout of the distribution system, and distance between load points.
Thompson-Lampard 정리를 적용한 마이크로미터 변위 측정을 위한 비접촉식 전기용량 센서 개발

Non-contacting capacitive sensor based on Thompson-Lampard theorem have been fabricated and characterized for measuring of ㎛ order displacements. To overcome disadvantages of the existed capacitive sensors of parallel plate type with 2-electrodes and 3-electrodes, the developed new sensor was designed to have 4-electrodes with a constant gap of 0.2 ㎜ between the electrodes. Two of the electrodes were used as a high potential electrode and a low one, the other two electrodes were used as guard electrodes. These electrodes were made from copper using RF sputtering system on a sapphire plate with diameter 17 ㎜ and thickness 0.7 ㎜. This sensor can be used for measuring the distance not only between the sensor and metallic target connected to ground potential but also non-metallic target without ground connection.

Under the strengthening of local autonomy and decentralization, government offices are changing from the existing focus of administrative work and civil service to a hub of local communities that provides various complex functions and spaces such as local economy, society, culture and welfare. However, since there are no legal or institutional regulations for small public facilities, the plan is based on the will of the responsible departments or local residents, causing problems such as ostentatious buildings and budget waste. Therefore, this study investigates and analyzes standards and regulations for calculating appropriate areas and project budgets at domestic and abroad, and develops a Web-based appropriate project cost estimation system for establishing appropriate small-scale public office construction projects. It is expected that Web-based appropriate project cost calculation system for Jeju public government building will be utilized to prevent rational small-scale public facilities and budget abuse by providing basic guidelines necessary for the construction of public facilities during the planning phase of the small facility construction project, and to determine the appropriateness of the building.
CRM 시스템에서의 룰 인식 자동 데이터웨어하우징 기법

이 논문에서는 규칙기반 CRM 시스템에서 데이터 웨어하우스 스키마를 자동 생성하는 기법을 소개한다. 양질의 CRM 기능을 제공하기 위하여 CRM 시스템들은 기존의 CRM 방법론에 데이터 웨어하우스 기술을 접목하는 방안을 찾고 있다. 그러나 많은 CRM 시스템이 데이터 웨어하우스의 설계 측면에서 스키마 진화와 관련된 문제를 제대로 지원하지 못하고 있다. 여기서는 마케팅 전략을 표현하는 캠페인 규칙이 입력되면, 그 모든 규칙을 만족시키는 데이터 웨어하우스 스키마를 생성하는 기법을 제안한다. 이는 데이터마이닝 기능을 포함하는 분석 CRM 시스템을 구축하는데 큰 도움이 될 것이다. This article introduces a novel method of automatically developing data warehouse configuration in rule-based CRM systems. Currently, to provide good quality CRM functionalities, CRM systems seek to combine conventional CRM methodologies with data warehousing technology. However, there are few facilities in CRM systems with respect to data warehouse design that alleviate the problems associated with data schema maintenance. Given a set of campaign rules expressing marketing strategies, data warehouse schema that can satisfy all the input rules can be generated. The method significantly will help to build analytical CRM systems with data mining applications.
