      • 低濃度 Al-Si系合金에 있어서의 Si 析出物의 粗大化 現象

        The coarsening behaviours of Si precipitates in dilute Al-Si alloys havs been investigated by means of scanning electron microscopy and also determined the number density of Si precipitates and activation energy for the growth of precipitates. The mean radius of Si precipitates in dilute Al-Si alloys was proportional to (time)^(1/3) and this results agree with Lifshitz-Wagner theory for the diffusion controlled mechanism. The number density of Si precipitates was decreased monotonously with increasing of ageing time. Activation energies for the coarsening of Si precipitates in Al-0.8wt% Si alloy and Al-1.2wt%Si alloy were 33.44 Kcal/mol and 32.9 Kcal/mol respectively, which agreed with that of inter-diffusion.

      • 다중스펙트럴 위성자료로부터 변화 검출을 위한 최적 밴드조합

        The objective of this study is to conduct land cover classification respectively using Landsat 1M data collected on Oct., 1985 and KOMPSAT-l EOC data collected on Jan., 2000 covering Gumi city, Gyeongbuk Province and to detect urban change by comparing between both land cover maps. Multispectral images of Landsat 1M have spatial resolution of 30m are well known as useful data for extracting information related to landcover, vegetation classification, urban growth analysis and so forth. In contrast, as KOMPSAT-1 EOC collects panchromatic images with relatively high spatial resolution of 6.6m We try to analyze how accurate landcover classification result is able to be derived from the panchromatic images. As the results of the study, the KOMPSAT EOC data with high resolution of 4.5 times greater than Landsat TM data showed higher classification degree. We tried to find out optimal band combination for land cover classification using multispectral imagery. It was ascertained that the built-up region was extended by three to four times in the last 15 years between 1985 and 2000. In the contrast, it was shown that the forest region was decreased by 15% to 27% and the grass region including agricultural region was decreased by 28% to 45%.

      • 조세혜택의 측정과 결정요인에 관한 분석

        본 연구는 보다 정확한 조세혜택의 크기를 측정하고 동 조세혜택에 영향을 미치는 결정 요인이 무엇인지에 대하여 실증적으로 검증하였다. 1999년부터 2001년까지 금융감독원의 전자공시 자료를 이용하여 금융·보험·증권업종을 제외한 기업을 대상으로 분석을 실시하였다, 검증결과 첫째, 대차대조표 및 손익계산서의 자료를 근거로 조세혜택의 추정치(TSf)와 실제납세자료를 이용한 조세혜택의 측정치(TSr)는 유의적으로 차이가 났으며, 이는 조사혜택을 근거로 한 선행연구들의 여러 가설들의 신뢰성에 문제가 있음을 의미하고 있다. 둘째, 조세정책상 세법에 의한 조세혜택에 영향을 주는 기업규모, 부채비율, 투자지원도 등의 기업특성변수는 기대부호와는 전부 일치하며, 대부분 유의적인 값을 보여 ①중소기업일수록, ② 부채비율이 높을수록, ③투자지원도가 높을수록 조세혜택을 많이 받는 것으로 나타났다.

      • 법인세부담의 집단간 공평성 분석

        본 연구는 조세부담의 수평적 공평성변동계수와 잔차변동계수를 이용하여 법인세부담의 집단간 공평성을 실증적으로 검증하였다. 1996년부터 1999년까지 우리 나라 증권 거래소에서 상장된 기업 중 자본구조가 현격히 다른 금융·보험·증권업종을 제외한 기업을 대상으로 5개의 집단으로 구분하여 변동계수와 잔차변동계수를 이용하여 분석을 실시하였다. 검증결과 첫째, 조세부담률은 각 집단별로 큰 차이를 보이지 않았으나, 1집단이 다른 집단에 비해서 보다 많은 조세를 부담하는 것으로 나타나 수직적 공평성 문제가 존재하고 있음을 간접적으로 증명하고 있었다. 둘째, 법인세만을 고려한 경우 변동계수와 잔차변동계수에서 모두 법인세 차감전 이익의 크기가 낮은 집단일수록 수평적 불공평성이 존재하는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 변동계수와 잔차변동계수의 변동률은 서로 상반된 결과를 제시하고 있는데, 변동계수의 변동률은 연도간의 차이가 거의 발생하지 않는 것으로 나타났고, 조세부담능력이 낮은 집단일수록 수평적 공평성이 향상되는 추세를 보였다. 하지만 잔차변동계수의 변동률은 집단별로 각 연도간의 큰 차이가 발생하지는 않았으나 가중평균변동계수의 변동률을 고려하면 오히려 수평적 공평성이 감소되는 추세를 보였다.

      • 꾸지뽕나무의 揷木時期, 床土 및 發根劑가 揷木繁殖에 미치는 影響

        This study was carried out to develop mass propagation techniques by cutting seedling of Cudrania tricuspidata which is a promising species as a medicinal herbs and a health food trees. Rooting and, mortality rates (percentage of dead cutting) and the number of roots were measured by cutting times, using various growth media and the digesting times of growth hormone. 1. Rooting rates by cutting times were higher in March cutting (64.5%) than in July cutting (55.3%). The highest rooting rates were observed in March cutting (68.5%) with the growth media of peatmoss + perlite. The rooting rates by the digesting times of growth hormone were the highest (87.5%) in 30 hours at IBA 100ppm among the treatments. 2. Callus formation from cutting roots was not related to cutting times and digesting time of growth hormone, but related to growth media. 3. Mortality rates was related to cutting time and digesting time at IBA 100ppm. 4. Number of roots were about 16 and not related to cutting times, growth media and the digesting time of growth hormone. In conclusion, the best techniques for cutting propagations of Cudrania tricuspidata were observed in March cutting (rooting rates : 87.5%) in the growth media of peatmoss + perlite with 30 hours digesting times at IBA 100ppm.

      • Fluoranthene 독성에 기인하는 비정상적 어류행동의 신경생화학적 분석

        Fluoranthene, a common polycyclicaromatic hydrocarbon (PAH), exhibits phototoxicity which may affect aquatic organisms, The eventual goal of this study is to develop a biomarker of Japanese medaka (Oryzias iatipes) used in monitoring hazardous chemicals in the ecosystem. In this study we investigated neural toxicity of fluoranthene in Japanese medaka (Oryzias latipes) along with comparative analysis of corresponding behavioral responses. The untreated individuals showed normal behavioral characteristics (i.e' smooth and linear movements). The treated fish, however, showed stopping and abrupt change of orientation (100 ppb), and severely reduced locomotive activity and enhanced surfacing activity (1,000ppb). Treatment of the medaka fish with fluoranthene caused a significant suppression of acetylcholine esterase (AChE) activities in the body portion but not in the head portion. When fish were exposed to 1,000pph of fluoranthene for 24hr, the body AChE activities decreased from 126.±31.89 (nmoles substrate hydrolyzed per min per mg protein) 10 49.51 ± 11.99. Expressions of tyrosine hydroxylase (TH) protein in the different organs from both head and body portions were comparatively analyzed using an immunohistochemical technique. Five organs of the medaka fish showing a strong TH protein expression were the olfactory bulb, hypothalamus, optic lobe, pons and myelencephalon regions. This study provides molecular and neurobehavioral bases of a biomonitoring system for toxic chemicals using fish as a model organism.

      • 오리고기에 關한 硏究 (1) : 오리고기 蛋白質의 아미노酸 組成 Amino Acid composition of Duck-meat protein

        Amino acids of duck-meat in Jeon-nam have been analyzed by gas chromatography. Through this analysis, the following results were obtained. 1. The quantities of general components in duck-meat were determined 13.61%∼21.19% protein, 17.23%∼4.92% fat, 0.56%∼1.03% ash, and 50.91%∼65.72% moisture. 2. The quantities of protein amino acids in duck-meat were determined 6.10% alanine, 2.75% valine, 7.13% glycine, 2.20% iso-leucine, 4.54%leucine, 4.90% proline, 5.80% threonine, 1.15% methionine, 3.20% hydroxy proline, 3.01% phenylalanine, 6.70% aspartic acid, 12.71% glutamic acid,. 4.95% lysine, 1.11% arginine, 5.60% histidine, 4.40% cystine+cystein, and serineand tyrosine in trace amount. 3. Except tryptophane, almost all the essential amino acids were analyzed.

      • 구리 독성에 기인하는 비정상적인 어류행동의 신경생화학적 분석

        The goal of this study is to develop a biomarker used in monitoring abnormal behaviors of Japanese medaka (Oryzias latipes) as a model organism caused by hazardous chemicals. Japanese medaka was treated by copper of appropriate sublethal concentrations after starvation for 48 hr, The untreated individuals showed common behavioral characteristics (i.e., smooth and linear movements). Locomotive activity of the fish was monitored using an image processing and automatic data acquisition system. When treated with copper (100 ppb), the fish showed shaking patterns more frequently. As the concentration of copper increased to 1,000ppb, activity decreased, and the fish showed an erratic movement. Fish were exposed to copper at various concentrations (0, 100 and 1,000 pph) for 24 hrs, and acetylcholine esterase (AChE) activity was observed. When fish were exposed to 1,000 ppb of copper, the body AChE activities appeared to decrease but the head AChE activities showed little change. Expressions of tyrosine hydroxylase (TH) protein in the different organs from both head (brain) and body(kidney) portions affected by the copper treatment were analyzed using immunohistochemical technique compared with control. Five organs of the fish (olfactory bulb, hyothaiamus, optic lobe, pons and myelencephalon regions) showed a relatively strong TH protein expression in the control experiment. A differential expression of TH, however, was observed in the treatment (100 ppb and 1,0M ppb). The treatment (1,000 ppb) significantly suppressed TH protein production in the brain regions. In kidney, however, the same treatment caused little suppression compared with the control. Copper appeared to be less effective in suppression of TH than diazinon, a known TH suppressor. It was concluded that TH could be used as a potential biomarker to monitor the acute copper toxicity in Japanese medaka.

        LED를 이용한 복합레진의 광조사시, 중합수축의 속도와 양, 미세경도에 관한 연구

        This study evaluated the effectiveness of the light emitting diode(LED) units for composite curing. To compare its effectiveness with conventional quartz tungsten halogen (QTH) light curing unit, the microhardness of 2mm composite, Z250, which had been light cured by the LEDs (Ultralume LED2, FreeLight, Developing product D1) or QTH (XL 3000) were compared on the upper and lower surface. One way ANOVA with Tukey and Paired t-test was used at 95% levels of confidence. In addition, the amount of linear polymerization shrinkage was compared between composites which were light cured by QTH or LEDs using a custom-made linimeter in 10s and 60s of light curing, and the amount of linear polymerization shrinkage was compared by one way ANOVA with Tukey. The amount of polymerization shrinkage at 10s was XL3000 > Ultralume 2, 40, 60 > FreeLight, D1 (P<0.05) The amount of polymerization shrinkage at 60s was XL3000 > Ultralume 2, 60 > Ultralume 2, 40 > FreeLight, D1 (P<0.05) The microhardness on the upper and lower surface was as follows; <본문 참조> It was concluded that the LEDs produced lower polymerization shrinkage in 10s and 60s compared with QTH unit. In addition, the microhardness of samples which had been cured with LEDs was lower on the lower surfaces than the upper surfaces whereas there was no difference in QTH cured samples.

        일 대학병원에서 양극성장에 환자의 흡연 특성 : 정신분열병 환자와의 비교 연구

        Objectives : This study aimed to investigate smoking characteristics and nicotine dependence severity in bipolar disorder Comparing those of schizophrenia. Methods : 70 bipolar and 123 schizophrenic patients, diagnosed using DSM-IV-TR criteria and treated at the Severance Mental Health Hospital, were interviewed regarding socio-demographic variables, smoking characteristics and Fagerstrom Test for Nicotine Dependence (FTND), designed to evaluate the intensity of smoking. Results : The rate of current smoking was 60.0% in the bipolar group, and 50.4% in the schizophrenia group. No significant difference was seen in terms of the rate of current smoking between the groups. Rates of having ever smoked also did not differ between bipolar (73%) and schizophrenic patients (65%). Daily cigarette consumption of bipolar patients (15.9 cigarettes/day) was significantly lower than that of schizophrenic patients (21.2 cigarettes/day), but FTND score didn't appear to differ between bipolar and schizophrenic patients. Bipolar females showed higher rate of current smoking (44%) than schizophrenic females (17%). Among bipolar patients, antipsychotics dose was not correlated with daily cigarette consumption and FTND total score. Age of disease onset didn't appear to differ between smokers and non-smokers in bipolar group. Conclusion : Although daily consumption was significantly lower in the bipolar group, the rate of smoking and smoking severity in bipolar disorder were as high as in schizophrenia. This fact suggests that the bipolar disorder might be related to the nicotinic acetylcholine system dysfunction as like schizophrenia.
