Vulvar hematomas are uncommon outside of the obstetric population and may be the result of trauma to the perineum. Vulvar hematomas most often present with low abdominal pain and urologic and neurologic symptoms. The vulva has rich vascularization that is supplied by the pudendal artery, a branch of the anterior division of the internal iliac artery. We describe a rare case of a 15-cm-sized vulvar hematoma with the suggested rupture of a pseudoaneurysm of the left pudendal artery without trauma injury. A 14-year-old girl presented with sudden pain and swelling in her left labium and was successfully treated with selective arterial embolization and surgical evacuation. We provide a literature review and discuss patient treatment and management strategies.

Purpose: This study aims to measure the improvement of balanced ability and rapid response of 30 healthy adults by performing dynamic stretching, static stretching, and sargent jump. Methods: The sample 30 peoples without any musculoskeletal disease who volunteered to be the subject of the study. We measured all subjects on following metrics to evaluate the function and stability under the normal condition, with dynamic stretching (DS) group, static stretching (SS) group: vertical jump height and reaching distance Anterior, Posteromedial, Posterolateral and NO (Normal eye open), NC (Normal eye close), PO (Pillow with eye open), and PC (Pillow with close eye) were evaluated. All measures were analyzed using independent t-test and One-way repeated Anova. Results: There was a significant increase in SJH (Sargent jump) in both groups (p<0.05). In Y-balance test, there was a significant increase in both groups except for the ANT (Anterior) direction, and there was a significant increase only in the SS group in the ANT (Anterior) direction (p< 0.05). There was no significant difference between the DS group and the SS group (p >0.05). There was no significant improvement in ST (Stability Index) and WDI (Weight Distribution Index) in both groups (p>0.05). Conclusion: Both DS and SS showed significant improvement in SJH and Y-balance tests, which are dynamic functions, but had no significant effect on static balance ability.

Purpose: Metaverse platforms are used in many ways to provide new learning experiences in digital environment. Our study aims to identify ways to utilize commercially-developed metaverse platforms in computer-supported collaborative learning, and to explore their possibility of use as a learning tool by identifying functions that needs to be improved significantly around users. Method: In order to utilize metaverse platforms as supporting tools, this study analyzed the functions of three metaverse platforms(Gather.town, ifland, and ZEPETO) based on Kirschner and Erkens' 3x3x3 framework. In addition, a survey of the performance and need was conducted among 143 college students, and and the survey data were analyzed with independent-sample t-test, Borich analysis, and the Locus for Focus model to identify user-centered functions of metaverse. Results: As a result, Gather.town meets most of 3 x 3 x 3 framework criteria, and social/metasocial, individual, interactive and representational measures appeared to be top priorities to be developed at user-level. Conclusion: In conclusion, although metaverse platforms appeared to be appropriate for supporting cognitive learning at team and community level, to enhance collaboration, it was necessary to develop a function to mutually control the team’s performance in real time.

Objectives: The aim of this study was to evaluate the effect of a school-based social skills training program on peer relationships in children and adolescents and to assess the plan for effective school-based mental health services. Methods: The Child and Adolescent Mental Health Promotion Team of Bugok National Hospital conducted 7-sessioned school-based social skills training for elementary and middle school students (n=90). Changes in peer relationships were evaluated before and after application of the program using a name generator question. Results: The social skills training program increased peer relations, indicating significant changes in social network indices. Conclusion: The social skills training program positively influenced peer relationships. The school-based social skills training program can be expected to have positive effects on school-based mental health services. Future investigation is needed to validate the long term effects of this program.

<P>Mutations in the 관???tubulin isotype III (TUBB3) gene result in TUBB3 syndrome that includes congenital fibrosis of the extraocular muscle type 3 (CFEOM3), intellectual impairments and/or an axonal sensorimotor neuropathy. In the present study, a TUBB3 D417N mutation was identified in a family with axonal sensorimotor polyneuropathy by whole exome sequencing. The proband exhibited gait disturbance at the age of 12 years and was wheelchair bound at 40 years. However, the proband's cousin exhibited gait disabilities at 45 years of age and was still able to walk when he was 60 years old. Ophthalmoplegia and intellectual impairment were not observed in either patient. A sural nerve biopsy identified an absence of large myelinated fibers without demyelinating degeneration. Based on these clinical features, the two patients exhibited an axonal peripheral neuropathy without CFEOM3. These results therefore suggested that certain TUBB3 mutations may predominantly be associated with axonal peripheral neuropathy. Furthermore, the results also suggested that TUBB3 mutations may be implicated in modulating the inter??? and intra???familial heterogeneity of clinical phenotypes.</P>

Since the oral cavity is directly connected to the outside, it is an important site for microbial invasion, and since it is an environment that is nutritionally and physiologically easy to multiply bacteria, many bacteria always form bacteriological flora in the oral cavity. And propolis is a natural treatment used in many health food stores in various forms for local treatment. This study analyzes the changes in the activity of five oral microorganisms before and after consumption of propolis for various age groups to find out how propolis, which shows the efficacy of anti-inflammatory, antibacterial, and immune sensitization, affects oral microorganisms. Five types of bacteria possessed by periodontal disease patients were specified and digitized targeting the public person, and then before and after propolis intake was compared, and the levels of periodontal disease bacteria in the intake group and the non-consumption group were compared. As a result of comparing the patterns before ingestion (0 week) and after ingestion (3 week) in the oral bacteria analysis, it was confirmed that the bacteria decreased overall except for the five populations in the propolis intake group. In contrast, in the comparative group that did not intake propolis, the bacteria of five periodontal disease increased except for the four populations. What can be seen from this result is that propolis is effective in reducing bacteria in five types of periodontal disease. In order to use propolis as a food for preventing periodontal disease and to get a better effect, further research is needed to find out the mechanism of antibacterial action in propolis compounds.
