        과제 지향적 트레드밀 훈련이 뇌졸중 환자의 보행 능력에 미치는 영향: 체계적 고찰 및 메타분석

        PURPOSE: This study was a systematic review and meta-analysis of the literature comparing the differences between task-oriented treadmill training and general treadmill training for stroke patients. METHODS: Literature published in the Cumulated Index to Nursing and Allied Health Literature (CINAHL), Embase, Physiotherapy Evidence Database (PEDro), and PubMed was reviewed. A total of 1,163 studies were initially retrieved, of which eight articles were included in the final review. A quality assessment of the included studies was conducted using the Risk of Bias (RoB) 2.0 tool, and Duval and Tweedie’s trim and fill method was used to evaluate publication bias. Data analysis was performed using R studio 4.2.1. RESULTS: According to the quality assessment using RoB 2.0, three articles were evaluated as low risk, two as of some concern, and three as high risk. The overall effect size of task-oriented tradmill training was .35. Regarding gait function, the values were .76, .25, and .40, respectively, for gait endurance, gait speed, and gait pattern. According to Duval and Tweedie’s trim and fill method, no publication bias was observed. CONCLUSION: Study findings indicate that task-oriented treadmill training is the most effective intervention for improving gait endurance in patients with stroke. Therefore, applying this intervention to patients with stroke in the community is recommended.

        Possibility of applying unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) and mapping software for the monitoring of waterbirds and their habitats

        Background: Conventional bird observation methods are line survey or point count method by bare eyes or through binoculars or telescopes. But in this study, the possibility of monitoring waterbirds using drones beyond the conventional research methods was explored. It also describes the direction of producing and accumulating images of waterbird habitats as a method to efficiently determine changes in waterbird habitats. Results: From the study, it was concluded that waterbird monitoring using drones was a new monitoring technique which could be applied to the field and 26 kinds of waterbirds were observed. In the case of a drone with a single lens, it was difficult to identify objects because the size of the subject was too small at a certain altitude. In this case, zoom lens can be an alternative. It has also been verified that image analysis software can be used to accumulate images of waterbird habitats. Conclusions: If various kinds of advanced drones and cameras are used, it would be possible to monitor larger areas including the areas that are difficult for human access and to observe more waterbirds and wider habitats.

        Insect herbivores associated with the introduced weed Bidens frondosa L. (Asteraceae) in Korea, and their potential role as augmentative biological control agents

        The annual herb Bidens frondosa L., native to North America, is an invasive weed. Currently no information is available on the insect herbivores associated with this weed in Korea. A survey was carried out at two-weekly intervals from May to October 2008 at two sites, and the incidence and abundance of various insect herbivores studied. A total nine species of insects was recorded and among them the defoliating caterpillar Hadjina chinensis (Wallengren) (Lepidoptera) was the only species known to have host plants restricted to genus Bidens. Further host specificity studies are required to evaluate the potential of this insect as a candidate for augmentative biological control agent for B. frondosa in Korea. All other insect species are either polyphagous or known crop pests.

        The Effect of a Task-oriented Upper Arm Exercise on Stable and Unstable Surfaces on Dynamic Balance and Hand Function in Patient with Cerebral Palsy

        Purpose: The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of a task-oriented upper arm exercise performed in a sitting position on either an unstable support surface or a stable support surface for children with cerebral palsy. Methods: We prospectively evaluated 18 children with cerebral palsy. Eight subjects were randomly assigned to each of the stable and unstable support surface groups. We performed the upper arm exercise three times a week for 6 weeks. To confirm the effects of the intervention, the berg balance scale test, modified functional reaching test (MFRT), timed up and go test (TUG), and Jebsen-Taylor hand function test were conducted before and after the study. Results: Significant differences were observed in MFRT and TUG between the experimental and control groups (p<0.05). In the Jebsen-Taylor hand function test, there were significant differences between the groups for the items picking up small objects, stacking checkers, lifting large light objects, and lifting large heavy objects (p<0.05), but not for writing and stimulation of feeding. Significant differences were observed between the groups in items of card turning, lifting large light objects, and lifting heavy objects. Conclusion: The purpose of this study was to evaluate the effectiveness of a task-oriented upper extremity exercise program for dynamic balance and hand function performed in a sitting position with either stable or unstable support by cerebral palsy patients. There were improvements in the two groups, but performing the exercise while sitting on an unstable support surface had a greater effect on dynamic balance and hand function than exercise while sitting on a stable supporting surface. The results of this study can be used to improve the daily lives of cerebral palsy patients.

        How to utilize vegetation survey using drone image and image analysis software

        This study tried to analyze error range and resolution of drone images using a rotary wing by comparing them with field measurement results and to analyze stands patterns in actual vegetation map preparation by comparing drone images with aerial images provided by National Geographic Information Institute of Korea. A total of 11 ground control points (GCPs) were selected in the area, and coordinates of the points were identified. In the analysis of aerial images taken by a drone, error per pixel was analyzed to be 0.284 cm. Also, digital elevation model (DEM), digital surface model (DSM), and orthomosaic image were abstracted. When drone images were comparatively analyzed with coordinates of ground control points (GCPs), root mean square error (RMSE) was analyzed as 2.36, 1.37, and 5.15 m in the direction of X, Y, and Z. Because of this error, there were some differences in locations between images edited after field measurement and images edited without field measurement. Also, drone images taken in the stream and the forest and 51 and 25 cm resolution aerial images provided by the National Geographic Information Institute of Korea were compared to identify stands patterns. To have a standard to classify polygons according to each aerial image, image analysis software (eCognition) was used. As a result, it was analyzed that drone images made more precise polygons than 51 and 25 cm resolution images provided by the National Geographic Information Institute of Korea. Therefore, if we utilize drones appropriately according to characteristics of subject, we can have advantages in vegetation change survey and general monitoring survey as it can acquire detailed information and can take images continuously.

        A study of bioindicator selection for long-term ecological monitoring

        It is very useful and important to see the status and change of necessary parts in a short period through selecting and observing the bioindicator continually to forecast and prepare the future. Especially, living things are so closely related to the environment that the indicator between the environment and living things shows close interrelationship. Also, the indicator related to environment provides information about representative or decisive environmental phenomenon and is used to simplify complicated facts. Considering wide range of background and application including various indica¬tors such as the change-, destruction-, pollution-, and restoration of habitats, climate change, and species diversity, the closest category includes “environmental indicator,” “ecological indicator,” and “biodiversity indicator.” The selection and use of bioindicator is complicated and difficult. The necessary conditions for the indicator selection are flexible and greatly depend on the goals of investigation such as the indicator for biological diversity investigation of specific area, the indicator for habitat destruction, the indicator for climate change, and the indicator for polluted area. It should meet many various conditions to select a good indicator. In this study, eleven selection standards are established based on domestic and overseas studies on bioindicator selection: species with clear classification and ecology, species distributed in geographically widespread area, species that show clear habitat characteristics, species that can provide early warning for a change, species that are easy and economically benefited for the investigation, species that have many independent individual groups and that is not greatly affected by the size of individual groups, species that is thought to represent the response of other species, species that represent the ecology change caused by the pressure of human influence, species for which researches on climate change have been done, species that is easy to observe, appears for a long time and forms a group with many individuals, and species that are important socially, economically, and culturally.

        A study of the spatio-temporal distribution changes of the Korean Hawk Moth (Lepidoptera: Sphingidae)

        This study was conducted in an effort to identify the fluctuation of species according to space and time by collecting information on samples of Korean Sphingid moths housed in Korea. The number of Sphingidae moth species housed in Korea was found to be 53. As 48 species and 47 species were found in Gyeongsangnam-do and Gangwon-do, respectively, relatively diverse species were considered to be distributed in these areas. Comparatively, in Jeollabuk-do only 36 species were found, whereas in Chungcheongbuk-do and Jeju Island 39 species were found. The number of individual Sphingid moths surveyed in Korea was 21,414. With regard to the number of individuals per species, Ampelophaga rubiginosa was highest, at 2,483, followed by Theretra japonica (1,716), Callambulyx tatarinovii (1,457), Acosmeryx naga (1,340), Rhagastis mongoliana (1,191), Marumba sperchius (1,083), and Dolbina tancrei (1,072). By region, the largest number of individuals was surveyed in Gyeongsangnam-do (4,595), followed in order by Gangwon-do (3,648 individuals), Gyeonggi-do (3,011), Jeollanam-do (2,454), and Jeju Island (2,382). Over time, the highest numbers—in this case 9,498 individuals in 52 species—were identified after 2000. In the 1990s, there were 6,027 of 49 species identified; in 1980s, 4,332 individuals of 49 species were identified; and, in the 1970s, 937 individuals of 45 species were identified. It was confirmed that more species and individuals were identified as time passed. The appearance of Sphingid moths by month was found to be as relatively diverse, as they appeared from February to November. Overall, southern species, including M. saishiuana, Cephonodes hylas, Acosmeryx castanea, T. nessus, and T. clotho, which mainly inhabit Jeju Island and the southern part of Korea, have increased over time from the past to the present. Species inhabiting the middle or northern parts of the Korean Peninsula or the entire country of Korea, including Sphingulus mus, Ambulyx schauffelbergeri, and Mimas christophi, show decreases over time.

        헬스케어를 위한 그래프 모델 기반 행위 패턴 마이닝

        세계적으로 인구의 고령화가 급속히 이루어지면서 헬스케어에 관련된 개인 및 사회 비용이 증가하고 있다. 최근 헬스케어를 위한 장기간 행위 패턴 모니터링 기반의 헬스케어 지원 시스템 연구가 활발히 진행되고 있다. 기존의 연구들은 통계적 모델 또는 시퀀스 모델을 이용하여 행위 패턴을 마이닝 하였다. 통계적 모델은 행위 발생 순서를 표현하지 못하며, 시퀀스 모델은 일일 패턴의 분석만 가능하다는 단점을 갖는다. 본 논문에서는 행위를 노드로 표현하고 행위 발생 순서를 에지로 표현하는 행위 그래프를 이용한 행위 패턴 모델을 제시하고, 이를 이용한 마이닝 기법을 제안한다. 제안하는 기법은 다양한 시간 윈도우를 갖는 행위 그래프를 생성함으로써 일별, 주별, 월별 등 다양한 주기를 갖는 행위 패턴 마이닝이 가능하다. 행위 그래프 생성 시, 다중 시퀀스 얼라이먼트 기법을 도입하여 각 행위 시퀀스의 행위 순서 정보를 유지하며, 효율적인 마이닝을 위하여 그래프의 크기를 최대한 작게 생성한다. 실험을 통하여 기존의 행위 패턴 마이닝 방법들과 비교하여 제안하는 방법이 헬스케어에 더 유용한 패턴들을 마이닝 할 수 있음을 입증하였다. As the number of older people in the world population rapidly increases, personal and social costs related to healthcare are on rise. Recently a healthcare support system using long-term activity pattern monitoring is increasingly being studied as a new approach to support healthcare. The existing studies mine activity patterns based on statistics or sequential pattern model. Those models have shortcomings in that the statistics model cannot reflect an activity sequence and the sequential pattern model can mine only daily activity patterns. In this paper, we propose a notion of activity graph for activity pattern model and activity mining techniques using the activity graph. By creating activity graphs with different time windows, the proposed approach supports mining activity patterns with various periods such as daily, weekly, or monthly patterns. We adopt a multiple sequences alignment (MSA) for generating the activity graph with keeping each activity sequence information. In experiment, we show our proposed technique can generate more useful patterns for healthcare compared to existing activity pattern mining approaches.

        iRODS를 이용한 대용량 전자기록물 관리 시스템

        정보통신의 발전으로 인한 전자 기록물의 등장은 기록물 관리 체계에 많은 변화를 가져 왔다. 전자 기록물의 등장으로 인한 기록물관리의 가장 큰 변화는 종이기록물 등의 물리적인 기록물에 대한 수동적인 관리체제에서 컴퓨터 시스템을 통한 전자형식 기록물의 자동화된 기록 관리체제로의 전환과 대량?대용량으로 발생하는 전자 기록물에 대한 효율적인 관리이다. 데이터 그리드 소프트웨어인 iRODS(Integrated Rule-Oriented Data System)는 규칙 기반 데이터 그리드 시스템으로서 지리적으로 분산된 컴퓨팅 자원을 네트워크로 연동하여 가상화를 통해 대용량 저장 인프라를 구성한다. 특히, 이 시스템은 규칙을 정의함으로써, 입력되는 전자 기록물에 대한 데이터를 분산 및 백업하는 등의 조작이 가능하다. 따라서 iRODS는 대량, 대용량으로 발생하는 전자기록물을 자동적으로 관리하는 전자기록물 관리시스템의 구축에 적합한 기술이다. 본 논문은 규칙 기반의 그리드 시스템인 iRODS를 이용하여 전자 기록물 관리 시스템을 설계 및 구현하였다. 본 논문에서 구축한 전자 기록물 관리 시스템은 iRODS의 규칙을 이용하여 기록물 유형에 따라 데이터를 자동 분산하며 데이터를 자동으로 백업한다. 그리고 iRODS의 메타데이터를 관리하는 iCAT DB를 이용하여 전자 기록물의 메타 데이터 저장 및 검색 기능을 제공한다. The advancement of electronic records brought great changes of the records management system. One of the biggest changes is the transition from passive to automatic management system, which manages massive records more efficiently. The integrated Rule-Oriented Data System (iRODS) is a rule-oriented grid system S/W which provides an infrastructure for building massive archive through virtualization. It also allows to define rules for data distribution and back-up. Therefore, iRODS is an ideal tool to build an electronic record management system that manages electronic records automatically. In this paper we describe the issues related to design and implementation of the electronic record management system using iRODS. We also propose a system that serves automatic processing of distribution and back-up of records according to their types by defining iRODS rules. It also provides functions to store and retrieve metadata using iRODS Catalog (iCAT) Database.
