        장르 기반 교수법(Genre-based teaching approach)에 근거한 학술논문 쓰기교육 방안 서론의 텍스트생산 목적진술담화를 중심으로-

        The needs for Korean for academic purpose(KAP) are largely arising. In particular, writing of academic theses is commonly mentioned as one of the most difficult task by KAP learners. Academic theses demand both highly complicated competence and rigidly-regulated academic literacy competence in its production. Accordingly, KAP learners are required to acquire academic thesis text genre-dependent characteristics. Despite these internal(textual) and external needs for exploring linguistic characteristics, academic thesis text genre has not been deeply analysed from text genre perspective enough to be suggested as guidelines for KAP. This study, therefore, examines how textual phenomenon appears specifically in the text purpose-stated discourse(TPSD) in academic theses. Furthermore, it is meant to suggest various learning activities from text genre-based perspective which was established by Callaghan and Rothery(1988). TPSD can be defined as discourse which is related to the text producer's own intention towards the whole text. In the academic thesis genre, unlike other text genres, TPSD appears both in introduction and in conclusion. Text genre-based perspective which can be acquired by text genre-based learning activities would encourage KAP learners to consider communication circumstances around academic theses and would help KAP learners eventually to produce appropriate TPSD for academic literacy.

        외국인 유학생이 생산한 설득적 텍스트 분석-장르 기반 문법 모델을 바탕으로-

        This study aims to explore the persuasive texts produced by foreign students in KAP(Korean as an Academic Purpose) largely in view of genre-based grammar model. Writing persuasive texts are one of the most crucial tasks in language curriculum since its ability is highly needed communicative skills which requires much of train and practice. Nevertheless, in KAP area, persuasive writing has not been mainly discussed, yet. In order to become fundamental research of how to teach writing a persuasive text in KAP, this study analyses persuasive texts produced by foreign students in perspective of genre-based grammar model which is regarded as one of the most educational grammar models in ESP(English as a Second Language). Overall, this analysis finds commonly outstanding phenomenon in foreign students’ texts. Educational methods which are suggested on the grounds of this analysis are followings. The hierarchy of meaning structures and its corresponding expressions should be learned, respectively. Rather than connecting words such as “grigo”, “graseo” etc., various kinds of complex expressions are necessary to be educated as learners’ language proficiency gets higher. Variation of expressions should be learned, as well. Practice which changes speaker-involved tone into non-involved tone in texts are needed, also. Both of definition and quotation should be recognized by a KAP learner as effective ways to clarify the topic of his persuasive text and to intensify validity of his own argument.         외국인 유학생을 위한 학습자 중심의 각주 쓰기 교육방안 연구

        As KAP(Korean as an Academic Purpose) learners have been highly increasing over the last decade, the significance of effective education for them has been emphasized. Writing an academic thesis has been commonly mentioned as one of the most difficult academic tasks by KAP learners. This study specifically analyzes footnotes, one of the most outstanding text genre-based phenomena of the academic thesis which cannot be found in any other text genres. The reason why this study is conducted is that the errors of KAP learners' footnotes are largely misleading and thus cannot function well in the text. On the premise that learner-oriented education is possible only when learners' texts are considered, this study analyzes KAP learners' footnotes. Based on the results of analysis regarding literacy errors and tendency of frequency, specific learner-oriented education for writing footnotes are suggested. (University of Seoul)

        고급 한국어 쓰기 학습자를 위한 연결어미 ‘-면’의 교육-‘논증’의 ‘-면’을 중심으로-

Korean connecting ending ‘-면’ has been mainly described as a ‘condition’ and ‘assumption’ in education of Korean language. However, this study intends to insist the necessity to teach ‘-면’ of argumentation for advanced Korean learners who show the strong needs for writing persuasive texts such as editorials or critiques, to induce the instruction of the argumentative ‘-면’ based on its phenomenon and to suggest its specific teaching methods by stages. In order to achieve these goals, current descriptions about ‘-면’ in various advanced textbooks were looked through and related problems were pointed out. Also, through the analysis on persuasive texts which are produced by advanced learners, the necessity of teaching argumentative ‘-면’ were confirmed. Subsequently, this study tried to find out outstanding characteristics of the argumentative ‘-면’ in perspective of its unique functional meaning and the meaning relation of antecedent phrases and decedent phrases. On the basis of these series of exploration, the education of the argumentative ‘-면’ is encouraged and specific teaching methods are suggested. (Korea National University of Transportation)

        한국어 교육문법에서의 종결어미 기술에 대한 한 제안

A Suggestion for the Description of the Sentence Ending Forms in Korean Grammar for Foreign Learners -focusing on the pragmatic meanings of ‘-eo', ‘-ne', ‘-chi', ‘-da', ‘-kuna', -danda'. When we learn some words including grammatical items like endings(eo-mi) or particles(cho-sa) in a foreign language, we generally study its primary lexical meanings at first, and then the learning of some pragmatic meanings which are fulfilled in a real specific context follows.Nevertheless, as far as sentence ending forms(chong-geul eomi) are concerned, its pragmatic meanings have been often overlooked. Both textbooks and dictionaries for foreign learners do not deal clearly with this aspect considering language system itself. This may consequently be related to commonly observed learners' error in choosing correct sentence ending forms.This study stresses pragmatic meanings related to speaker's psychological attitude towards a certain situation. An approach that uses comparisons between pairs to help clarify differences in meaning has been proven to be effective when learning a foreign language. Based on these precepts, this study explores the grammatical meaning of each sentencing ending form (formal, informal) with their associated correspondents (‘-eo/-da', ‘-ne/-kuna', ‘-chi/danda') especially in declarative sentences as a representative sample as the first step, and suggests an approach to offer Korean learners a description regarding Korean sentence ending forms that would enable them to make a more facilitated decision regarding the most appropriate sentence ending.

        대체(alternative)표현과의 비교대조에 근거한 문법화된 ‘-다니’의 한국어교육문법 기술

        The purpose of this study is to suggest how to describe grammaticalized ‘-dani’ which has not been specifically explored in KFL(Korean as a Foreign Language). In peculiar, this study tries to show various functional meanings of ‘-dani’ in perspective of comparisons with its alternative expressions produced by KFL learners. The reason why this research would focus on alternative expressions is summarized as follows. First, alternative expressions are so difficult in both teaching and learning. Secondly, alternative expressions can give us insight for learner-oriented grammar education. In order to research alternative expressions of ‘-dani’ from learners’ grammatical appreciations, open-tests reflecting available communication situations related to ‘-dani’ have been made to learners. As a result, learners’ proper or inappropriate appreciations about ‘-dani’ have been revealed. Furthermore, since outstanding tendencies between ‘-dani’ and its alternative expressions could be found out, the descriptions based on comparisons in KFL grammar seem to be possible. These comparisons are to reveal shared parts as well as different parts between ‘-dani’ and its alternative expressions. These comparisons are expected to help learners distinguish ‘-dani’ and its similar expressions in both forms and functions. Also, results which show many learners’ misunderstanding about discourse-pragmatic restraints seems to require more specific descriptions about themselves in grammar because these are relatively complicated than morphological-syntactical restraints.

        ‘-다니’에 대한 한국어 교육문법적 기술방안 연구 -담화화용정보의 비교대조를 중심으로-

        The purpose of this study is to investigate characteristics of ‘'-dani’' in various linguistic levels such as pronunciation and intonation, morpheme and sentence, discourse and pragmatics and to suggest not only its descriptive methods in Korean educational grammar for foreign learners but some references for descriptions of other ‘'-dago ha-’' contraction forms. In the previous studies, ‘'-dani’' has not been investigated as its own, whereas has been partly mentioned as one of the ‘'-dago ha-’' contraction forms. As a result, its various information according to language levels has not been explored. ‘'-Dani’' shows most various meanings in ‘'-dago ha-’' contraction forms. If the description on ‘'-dani’' in various linguistic levels could be suggested, other ‘'-dago ha-’' contraction forms such as ‘'-dago’', ‘'-damyeonseo’', ‘'-danika’' are expected to get its description references from it. In various linguistic levels, this study especially would focus on discourse-pragmatics information of ‘'-dani’' since it is related to highly complicated factors of its communication situation such as a speaker, a listener, a situation itself, so is difficult to be described as a whole. Also, this study would introduce comparison as a main method since comparison between common things and differential things can be effective to foreigner learners than any other methods.

        CO2 과포화수 기반 침강탄산칼슘(PCC) 제조 기초특성

        . The development of carbon capture, utilization, and storage technology is crucial in mitigating greenhouse gas emissions in response to climate change. Specifically, the mineral carbonation process offers a stable means of storing CO2 gases. This study delves intothe basic characteristics of precipitated calcium carbonate (PCC) production using CO2 supersaturated water. Initially, a jar test was conducted with NaHCO3 saturated solution by injecting NaOH, and CaCl2 to generate PCC. The results indicated that when CaCl2 was injected, the pH rapidly decreased due to the CaCO3 production reaction. It was crucial to incrementally control the injection of the calcium source and the alkali chemical step. The total carbonate removal rate reached 99.9% within 1 hour of reaction time. Based on the experimental findings, a semi-pilot plant of the PCC production system (capacity: 7.2 m3/day) was designed and operated with CO2 supersaturated water. The polymorphs and particle size of CaCO3 were evaluated based on the flow rate of CO2 supersaturated water (2, 5 L/min) and each pH value (9.5, 10.0, and 10.5). PCC particles recovered under both flow rates were a mixture of calcite and vaterite. The average particle size of vaterite at 2 L/min (10.4–12.1 ㎛) was smaller than that at 5 L/min (13.0–15.2 ㎛). At 2 L/min, it was possible to separate the PCC mixture by size inserial hopper locations. As pH increased in the pH range of 9.5–10.5, the proportion of calcite tended to increase. In addition, more than 99% of the injected Ca2+ concentration was consumed in pH 9.5–10.5.

        경추성 현훈에 대한 추나요법의 치료 효과 : 체계적 문헌고찰

        Objectives : To evaluate the evidence for effectiveness of Chuna manual therapy, for cervicogenic dizziness Methods : We conducted a search across 6 electronic databases to find all randomized controlled clinical trials(RCTs) that discuss Chuna manual therapy till September 2018. Results : 7 RCTs were selected for our inclusion criteria. The systematic review showed positive results for using Chuna manual therapy, for treating cervicogenic dizziness. Conclusions : Our systematic review found that effectiveness Chuna manual therapy for cervicogenic dizziness. However, our systematic review had several limited evidence. We recommend an additional research to test the effectiveness of Chuna manual therapy.
