Lipomas of the retropharyngeal space are rare, and they do not cause symptoms until theyreach a large size. Although retropharyngeal lipoma is an uncommon entity, several reportshave appeared about it in the literature, where the treatment has routinely been surgical excision. We present a case of huge lipoma of the retropharyngeal space. It extended from the oropharynxto the inferior portion of thyroid gland, causing symptoms of globus and dysphagiain a 74-year-old male. The patient had multiple medical problems and had been on anticoagulants,so we approached the mass via transcervical incision. After a complete surgical resection,all the symptoms of the patient improved. A large retropharyngeal lipoma could also bedifferentially diagnosed as a laryngopharyngeal mass presenting symptoms of globus anddysphagia.

The Dielectric Barrier micro-hollow cathode structure and it's upper pD limitation are investigated for determining of optimum hollow cathode discharge condition. In experiment, discharge is sustained by AC diriving and investigated gas is pure Xe. From Experiment, Optimum pD range is lower than 0.72 torr.cm at pure Xe and Cu cathode.

마이크로 사이즈 공음극 플라즈마 전극에 대한 제작 및 방전 실험을 진행하였다. 방전 전극은 200~500 um의 hole 형상을 제작하였으며 70~850 torr He 분위기에서 방전 실험 하였다. 실험 샘플은 막힌 공음극 형상과, 관통된 공음극 두가지 형상을 실험하였다. 마이크로 공음극 플라즈마의 공음극 크기에 따른 결과에서 사이즈가 작을수록 총 전류 값은 낮아지나, 전류 밀도는 증가하였다. 막힌 공음극에서는 양저항 특성을, 관통된 공음극에서는 부저항 결과를 얻었다.

How and why does temporal distance influence consumers’ evaluation of future hedonic consumption? Drawing upon the construal level theory,we propose that guilt is a lower-level construal than hedonic pleasure and becomes salient in the immediate versus distant consumption. As such, we hypothesize that consumers evaluate future hedonic consumption less positively as temporal distance becomes smaller. We find that temporal distance influences product evaluation when the product is framed as a hedonic option,but not when it is framed as a utilitarian one (study 1). The effect of temporal distance is mediated by anticipated guilt (study 2).
구조 형상에 따른 벤틸레이티드 디스크 브레이크 열 유동 해석 연구

The brake systems are composed of brake disc, brake pad and caliper and, these three parts play an important role for braking. In this study, heat fluid analysis is conducted for five different ventilated disc models, and two piece brake disc model separated in rotor and housing is used. In this case, each model has a different number of holes and vent shape. The basic heat flux and braking power equations are applied for the heat fluid analysis. The cooling performance with/without the braking operation is also analyzed for given five models where the material properties and boundary conditions are set to be identical. From our analysis results, it is found that the number of disc holes and ventilated pins strongly influences on the cooling performance.
