Congenital anomalies of the pancreaticobiliary structure may go undetected until adulthood, and they can be the cause of unexplained jaundice, abdominal pain, nausea and vomiting. In addition to such associated disease, as cholangitis, gallstone, cholangiocarcinoma and pancreatitis, recognition of these variant anatomies is clinically important for planning surgery and for preventing inadvertent surgical injury. Although congenital abnormalities and variations of the biliary ducts are common, and variations in the drainage and course of the cystic duct are also frequently seen, variation of the cystic duct opening into the right hepatic duct is rare; further, it is important to avoid erroneous ligation of the hepatic duct during surgery. We report here on a case of aberrant cystic duct opening into the right hepatic duct along with acute pancreatitis. (Korean J Gastrointest Endosc 2006;33:187-190) 췌담도계의 선천적 기형(anomaly)과 이형(variation)은 성인이 될 때까지 발견되지 않을 수 있으며, 설명되지 않는 황달, 복통, 오심, 구토의 원인이 될 수 있다. 담관염, 담석증, 담도암 및 췌장염과 같은 동반된 질환뿐만 아니라 췌담도계의 해부학적 이상 구조의 진단은 수술을 계획하고, 수술 중 손상을 방지하기 위해서 임상적으로 중요하다. 담도계의 선천적 기형과 이형은 흔하지만, 담낭관이 우측 간내담관으로 개구되는 이상 구조는 매우 드물며, 이와 같은 이형의 확인은 수술 중 우측 간내담관을 결찰하는 사고를 예방하고 동반된 질환의 진단에도 중요하다. 저자들은 급성 췌장염으로 발현된 담낭관이 우측 간내담관으로 개구되는 이형 1예를 보고한다.

Combined phase transformation and heat transfer was considered on the simulation of hot press forming process, using material properties modeler, $JMatPro^{(R)}$ and a finite element package, $DEFORM^{TM}$-HT. In order to obtain high temperature mechanical properties and flow curves for different phases, a material properties modeler, $JMatPro^{(R)}$ was used, avoiding expensive and extensive high temperature materials tests. The results successfully show that the strength of hot press forming parts may exhibit different strength in the same parts, depending on the contact of blank with tooling. It was also shown effectively that the strength of the parts can be controlled by designing appropriate cooling paths and coolants. This was shown in terms of different heat convection coefficient in the calculation. Overall, current combination of software was shown to be an effective tool for the tool and process design of hot forming process, although the material modeler needs to be additionally verified by an appropriate set of high temperature materials test.
오일윤활 빗살무늬 저널 베어링에 대한 정특성 및 안정성 해석

An oil lubricated Herringbone aroove jounal bearing(HGJB) with eight-circular-profile grooves on the non-rotating bearing surface is analyzed numerically and experimentally. The load carrying capacity, attitude angle, stiffness and damping coefficients are obtained numerically for the various bearing configurations. The onset speed of instability is also examined for the various eccentricity ratios. The configuration parameters of HGJB, such as groove depth ratio, groove width ratio, and groove angle, are dependent on each other because the grooves are generated by using eight small balls rolling over the inner surface of the sleeve with press fit. Therefore, it is not allowed to suggest a set of optimal design parameters such as the one for the rectangular profile HGJB. The overall results from numerical and experimental analysis prove that the circular profile HGJB has an excellent stability characteristics and the higher load carrying capacity than the plain journal bearing.
