        Nalidixic acid 내성 장티푸스균에 대한 항생제 시간-살균 연구

        Background : We recently encountered a case of typhoid fever in a patient who visited us after travelling India. The patient received ciprofloxacin therapy, but developed typhoid pneumonia and typhoid hepatitis, and nalidixic acid resistance Salmonella Typhi (NARST) was identified. The aim of this study was to assess the in vitro efficacy of several antimicrobial combinations, which are commonly used in clinical practice. Materials and Methods : Time-kill studies were performed for a clinical NARST strain to evaluate synergy. Synergy was defined as a ≥2 log10 decrease (100-fold drop) in CFU per mL at 24 hours by a drug combination compared to the most active constituent. Results : The combination regimen of cefotaxime plus ciprofloxacin significantly reduced the bacterial counts (>3 log CFU) at 3/4 MIC and at 24 hours compared to the ciprofloxacin or cefotaxime alone and showed synergistic effect against a NARST strain. Conclusions : In conclusion, our time-kill studies showed that ciprofloxacin plus cefotaxime was the best in vitro combination against a NARST. This combination may improve efficacy compared to fluoroquinolone alone in typhoid fever patient with NARST.       • 인공지능을 활용한 전기화재 분석용 용융흔 판별에 관한 연구

        전기화재의 경우 전기선의 금속이 아크와 열에 녹아 응고되어 생성되는 용융흔이 생성된다. 용융흔은 1차 단락흔, 2차 단락흔, 열흔 3가지 종류로 나뉜다. 1차 단락흔은 전기가 흐르는 상태에서 전선의 피복이 손상되어 단락되어 생성되며 전기화재의 직접적인 원인으로 생성된다. 2차 단락흔은 전선 피복이 화재로 녹아내려 생성 된 흔적이며 마지막으로 열흔은 전기가 흐르지 않는 상태에서 외부의 열기로 녹아내려 생성된 흔적이다. 이러한 용융흔을 판별하는 것은 화재의 진행 방향, 원인 등을 판별하는데 있어 다양한 정보를 얻을 수 있기 때문에 매우 중요한 요소로 작용한다. 하지만 실제 화재 감식의 경우 전문 조사관이 직접 판별하기 때문에 전문가의 주관적인 지식을 바탕으로 잘못된 판별이 될 가능성이 존대한다. 이러한 잘못된 판별은 향후 보험금, 책임 보상 등 다양한 곳에서 억울한 피해자가 발생할 수 있어 신중한 판별이 필요로 한다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 사람의 주관적인 지식을 바탕으로 판별하는 것을 방지하기 위해 Convolution Neural Network (CNN)기반의 알고리즘인 Vgg16, Googlenet, Inception v3, Resnet50을 활용하여 단락흔과 열흔을 실시간으로 판별하는 연구를 진행하였다. 실험결과 단락흔과 열흔을 판별하는 정확도는 아래 표와 같이 Googlenet 96.11%, Inception v3 97.8%, Vgg16 93.27%, Resnet50 97.05%를 보였다. 향후 비교적 분석하기 어려운 1차 단락흔과 2차 단락흔을 판별하는 연구를 진행하고자 한다.

        백서에서 신경절단과 절치부 기능 상실에 따른 교근 및 악관절의 변화에 관한 연구

        This study was performed to evaluate, in growing rats, the changes of the masseter muscle and medibular joint to loss of incisal function and/or unilateral resection of the masseteric nerve. The animals were divided into two groups. The group I was received unilateral masseteric nerve resection only. The group II was received unilateral masseteric nerve resection and loss of incisal function with soft diet The results were as follows: 1. Denervated atrophy was identified in the first week after denervation. Nuclear migration into central portion of sarcoplasm, angulation of muscle fiber and ring fiber formation were also observed. The degree of denervation atrophy was more marked in group Ⅱ than in group Ⅰ. 2. The proportion muscle fiber types was variable, but type Ⅰ fiber was increased in group Ⅰ at SDH stain and group Ⅱ showed the largest proportion of type Ⅰ fiber at mtosin-ATPase stain. 3. The cross sectional area of masseter muscle after denervation was significantly reduced. The area of group Ⅰ was reduced in about 1/2 size than the control side, and group Ⅱ was reduced in about 1/3 size. 4. The cartilage capping of the surface of the mandibular condyle was composed of five layers at the first week after denervation. But the thickness of prechondroblastic layer was reduced in the second week after denervation in both groups, and the fourth week prechondroblastic and proliferative layer were reduced in group Ⅱ. The denervation of masseteric nerve altered the morphology of masseter, and active changes in muscle function influenced on temporomandibular jointmorphology. It suggested that continuous adjustment between the soft and hard tissue is preserved for balancing.

        인쇄전자를 위한 롤투롤 시스템의 필름 정밀제어에 관한 연구

        RFID printing technology has emerged recently as an important tool for leading future IT. Therefore, many manufacturers concerning on low cost and mass production of the related products pay close attention to the printing technology. In order to realize printed electronics, the technologies for fine line-width/gap printing and registration are essential work. This study proposes a precise Roll to Roll control system that is capable of tilting two posts. Two controllable tilting posts can adjust film position at traverse direction for the precision registration. A mathematical model for representing the geometric features of each posts in Roll to Roll printing system is established first. Then an operating program is built to implement the system and to control film movement. For experimental test, a hard ware system is fabricated which is consisted of two AC servo motors, two posts tilting mechanisms, several guide rolls, and so on. The test results show the proposed system can control the film position precisely at transverse direction.

        The separation of acetylene from paraffins using CuCl complex reaction was investigated. The amount of complexed acetylene increased at lower temperature, in better mixing conditions, with the higher amounts of CuCl present in the slurry and at higher dissociation temperatures, but decreased at higher complexing temperature and repeated use of slurry. If CuCl is not present or the temperature is not suitable for the complexing reaction, only absorption or physical adsorption of gases can occur.
