안경광학과 대학생들의 전공 선택 동기 및 전공 만족도의 관계 - 충청지역 중심으로-

Purpose: To increase major satisfaction in students of Dept. of Optometry and provide a preliminary data which is needed for students coaching through analyze relation of major choice motivation and major satisfaction based on research of major characteristic from students of Dept. of Optometry. Methods: Analyze survey of major characteristic from 343 students of Dept. of Optometry in Chungcheong region. Compare and analyze a relation of major choice motivation and major satisfaction. Results: Advice from acquaintances is the highest point in major choice motivation. Students are greatly influenced by their parents when they decide a major. Satisfaction of curriculum is the highest level in major satisfaction. Even though there are few students who decide a major by their attitude and interesting, it is highest satisfaction value in every item of major satisfaction. College and university students show a correlation result in normal, relation and curriculum satisfaction. Normal satisfaction is correlation result in case of graduated school. Major choice motivation shows correlation result in every item of major satisfaction. A factor which effects a major decision is correlation result in recognition satisfaction. Conclusion: Applied baseline data for students coaching through analyze relation of major choice motivation and major satisfaction in students of Dept. of Optometry. It is helpful for overcoming a crisis of Dept. of Optometry and producing superior optometrist applied baseline data through analyze. 목 적: 안경광학과 대학생들의 전공 관련 특성을 조사하여 전공 선택 동기 및 전공 만족도의 관계 분석을 통해 안경광학과 학생들의 전공 만족도를 높이고, 학생 지도에 필요한 기초 자료를 제공하고자 한다. 방 법: 충청지역 안경광학과 재학생 343명을 대상자로 전공 관련 특성을 설문 조사하여, 전공 선택 동기와 전공 만족도의 관계를 비교 분석하였다. 결 과: 안경광학과 전공을 선택하는 동기로는 주변의 권유가 가장 많았으며, 전공을 결정하는데 있어서는 부모님의 영향이 크게 나타났다. 전공 만족도 중 교과 만족이 3.52로 가장 높았다. 본인의 적성과 흥미로 전공을 선택한 학생은 적지만, 전공 만족도의 모든 항목에서 가장 높은 만족도로 나타났다. 전문대와 4년제 학생들은 일반 만족과 관계 만족, 교과만족에서 유의한 결과를 보였고, 출신학교 유형별로는 일반 만족에서 유의한 결과를 얻었다. 전공 선택 동기는 전공 만족도의 모든 항목에서 유의한 결과로 나타났으며, 전공 결정에 영향을 주는 요인은 인식 만족에서 유의한 결과를 얻었다. 결 론: 안경광학과의 전공 선택 동기와 전공 만족도의 연구를 통해 학생 지도에 필요한 기초 자료로 활용하여 안경광학과의 위기를 극복하고, 우수한 안경사 인력을 배출하는데 도움이 되리라 사료된다.

외국인 유학생의 한국어 전공에 대한 선택 동기와 전공만족도에 대한 연구

한국에서 유학 생활을 하고 있는 유학생들의 수는 증가됨에 따라 한국어 전공이 활성화되고 있는 추세이다. 이러한 점을 고려할 때 외국인 유학생들의 전공 선택을 하는 동기와 그에 따른 전공만족도를 파악하는 것은 의의가 크다. 본 연구는 서울지역에 거주하고 있는 외국 유학생 173명을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였다. 자료분석은 SPSS 21.0과 AMOS 23.0을 사용하여 전공선택 동기와 전공만족도 간의 구조적 관계를 입증하였다. 분석결과, 외국인 유학생의 한국어 전공 선택동기는 내적동기, 외적동기로 구분되었고, 전공만족도는 인식만족, 관계만족, 교과만족, 일반만족으로 구분되었다. 한국어 전공 선택동기 중, 외적동기 수준이 매우 높게 나타났고, 전공만족도 중, 일반만족 수준이 가장 높은 것으로 나타났다. 또한 전공 선택동기 중, 외적동기와 내적동기는 모두 전공만족도인 인식만족, 관계만족, 교과만족, 일반만족에 모두 유의한 정(+)의 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구는 한국어 전공 유학생들의 전공만족도를 향상시키기 위하여 전공을 활용한 직장에 대한 정보 및 기회 제공, 양질의 교육과정을 제공해야한다는 효과적인 방법을 제언하였다. The Korean language major is being activated in line with the increasing number of international students who are studying in South Korea. Therefore, the motivation for selecting a university major varies according to the background, environment, and values of each student. Thus, it is meaningful to examine the motivation of international students to select their major and their satisfaction on the major. In this study, 173 international students living in Seoul were surveyed and the data were analyzed using SPSS 21.0 and AMOS 23.0 to demonstrate the structural relationship between their motivation for selecting the major and their satisfaction about the major. From analysis result, their motivation for selecting a Korean language major were classified into internal and external motivations, and their major satisfaction was classified into perception satisfaction, relationship satisfaction, subject satisfaction, and general satisfaction. Regarding the motivations to select a Korean language major, the level of external motivation was very high, and among the major satisfaction, the level of general satisfaction was the highest. Furthermore, the external and internal motives had significant positive effects on all the categories of major satisfaction, including the perception satisfaction, relationship satisfaction, subject satisfaction, and general satisfaction. This study suggests effective methods to improve the satisfaction of international students about the Korean language major such as the provision of information about and opportunities for employment using their major and the provision of a high quality.

무용전공 대학생의 전공만족도와 교수-학생상호작용이 대학생활적응에 미치는 영향

본 연구는 무용학과에 재학 중인 대학생의 전공만족도와 교수-학생상호작용이 대학생활적응에 미치는 영향에 대한 연구로 수도권지역 4년제 대학에 재학 중인 무용전공자 345명을 연구대상으로 설문지를 회수하여 연구에 적합하지 않거나 응답이 불성실하다 판단되는 27부를 제외한 318부가 자료 분석을 하였다. 연구의 목적 달성을 위해 전공만족도, 교수-학생상호작용, 대학생활적응의 3가지 변인으로 전공만족도는 일반만족, 인식만족, 교과만족, 관계만족을 하위요인으로, 교수-학생상호작용은 신뢰도와 친밀감을 하위요인으로, 대학생활적응은 개인·정서적 적응, 학업적 적응, 사회적 적응, 학교환경적 적응을 하위요인으로 총 40문항의 설문지를 작성하였다. 분석방법으로는 IBM SPSS Statistics 24.0 통계프로그램을 이용하여 전공만족도, 교수-학생상호작용, 대학생활적응간의 관계를 위한 상관분석, 전공만족도와 교수-학생상호작용의 하위요인별 대학생활에 미치는 영향력과 전공만족도, 교수-학생상호작용이 대학생활적응에 미치는 영향력을 분석하기 위해 중다회귀분석을 사용하였다. 결론은 다음과 같다. 첫째, 전공만족도, 대학생활적응간의 상관관계는 유의미한 부적 상관관계를 나타냈다. 전공만족도의 하위요인인 관계만족과 대학생활적응의 하위요인인 학업적 적응은 낮은 정적 상관관계를 나타냈지만 통계적으로 유의미한 상관관계는 없는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 전공만족도의 네 하위요인과 대학생활적응간에는 교과만족이 통계적으로 유의미한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 전공만족도의 네 하위요인과 대학생활적응 하위요인별 간에는 사회적 적응과 대학환경적 적응에 통계적으로 유의미한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났으며, 대학생활적응에 대해 대학환경적 적응과 교과만족이 가장 높은 설명력을 보였다. 셋째, 교수-학생상호작용의 두 하위요인과 대학생활적응간에는 신뢰감이 통계적으로 유의미한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 교수-학생상호작용의 두 하위요인과 대학생활적응 하위요인별 간에는 대학환경적 적응이 통계적으로 유의미한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났으며 대학생활적응에 대해 대학환경적 적응과 신뢰감이 가장 높은 설명력을 보였다. 넷째, 전공만족의 총점은 대학생활적응에 통계적으로 유의미한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났으나 교수-학생상호작용은 유의미한 영향을 미치지 못하는 것으로 나타났다. 이상의 결론은 무용학과 대학생들의 전공만족도와 교수-학생상호작용의 하위 요인별에 따라 부분적으로 대학생활적응에 크게 영향을 미친다고 할 수 있다. 무용학과 학생들의 대학생활 적응력을 높이기 위해서는 전공에 대한 만족스러운 교과과정이 제공되어야 하며 교수는 학생들이 신뢰할 수 있는 인격과 자질, 실력을 겸비해야한다고 사료된다. The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of dance major students' major satisfaction and faculty-student interaction on adjustment to school life. The questionnaire was distributed to 345 students major in Dance in universities located at capital area selected. 27 unreliable responses were excluded and 318 remained were collected for the analysis. Questionnaire was designed to have forty questions regarding three variables such as satisfaction with major, Faculty-student interaction, and adjustment to school life. Sub-factors of satisfaction with major are General satisfaction, recognition satisfaction, Curriculum satisfaction, and Relationship satisfaction. Sub-factors of Faculty-student interaction are reliability and intimacy. Sub-factors of adjustment of school life are affective reaction, major adjustment, social adjustment, and adjustment to school environment. Correlation analysis with IBM SPSS Statistics 24.0 was conducted to find an association among satisfaction with major, Faculty-student interaction, and adjustment to school life. Multiple regression analysis was conducted to analyze the influence of satisfaction with major and sub-factors of Faculty-student interaction with its sub-factors on adjustment to school life. Detailed results are presented below. 1. The results showed that satisfaction with major had a significant negative correlation with adjustment to school life. relationship satisfaction, a sub-factor of satisfaction with major had a low positive correlation with major adjustment, a sub-factor of adjustment to school life, but it was shown that there was no statistic significant correlation between them. 2. Among four sub-factors of satisfaction with major and adjustment to school life, only Curriculum satisfaction had a significant correlation statistically. social adjustment and adjustment to school environment had a significant correlation statistically when comparing four sub-factors of satisfaction with major and four sub-factors of adjustment to school life. 3. Sub-factors of Faculty-student interaction had a significant correlation statistically with adjustment to school life. Sub-factors of Faculty-student interaction had a significant correlation statistically with adjustment to school environment. 4. Overall score of satisfaction with major had a significant influence statistically on adjustment to school life. but Faculty-student interaction has no significant influence. In conclusion, major satisfaction of the students influence on the adjustment to school life partially but strongly depending on sub-factors of Faculty-student interaction. In order to enhance the adaptability of school life, appropriate and satisfactory curriculum should be provided and the faculties should be personable, well qualified and competent to build trust with students.

공과대학 여학생의 전공만족과 심리적 안녕감과의 관계 탐색

This research aims to examine the relationship between major satisfaction and psychological well-being of female engineering students. To achieve this goal, first, differences in major satisfaction and psychological well-being among engineering students were examined. Second, differences in major satisfaction and psychological well-being among female undergraduate students were investigated. In addition, the effects of psychological well-being, as perceived by undergraduate students by gender and major, on major satisfaction were explored. A total of three hundred and forty-nine (349) undergraduate students from two universities in Korea responded to survey based on a two-variables scale. The findings were that, firstly, male engineering students scored higher in two variables including their most sub-factors, and that gender differences in relation satisfaction as well as positive relationship with others, autonomy, and environmental mastery were statistically significant. Secondly, female engineering students scored higher in major satisfaction and several sub-factors of two variables, and that major differences in major satisfaction (total), social perception satisfaction, and autonomy – a sub-factor of psychological well-being - were statistically significant. Thirdly, a positive correlation among major satisfaction and psychological well-being was identified. Finally, psychological well-being could explain about 19% of major satisfaction. The practical implications of these findings are discussed herein, with attention on education for promotion of major satisfaction.

미용학과 헤어 전공자의 전공만족도가 직무만족도에 미치는 영향

We aimed to investigate the effects on job satisfaction have major impacts satisfaction of Dept. of Beauty Arts Hair majors study. Targets who major in Dept. of Beauty Arts Hair were set working in Seoul and Gyeonggi-do area. Ninety-nine data which collected through questionnaire was analyzed by SPSS 20.0 and applied analytical methods were factor analysis, reliability analysis, frequency analysis, multiple regression analysis. The research results showed that the influence on job satisfaction of Dept. of Beauty Arts Hair majors' major satisfaction has significant influence. Among the job satisfaction factor, all factors affected major satisfaction except salary satisfaction factor. It can be seen that, I'm sure and satisfy on my major, regarding my job as important, enjoying task, thinking as getting recognition in workplace and satisfying on position, working environment, service environment. It was found that Dept. of Beauty Arts Hair major's major satisfaction had affect on job satisfaction. We can see the importance of choosing major that satisfaction in workplace grows as major choice satisfying. As salary and major satisfaction hasn't significant influence, it seems to be that people do not choose major having salary in mind. Therefore, based on the results of studies, if you are trying to create an fostering environment in which guaranteed future system rather than salary and in workplace, it will be able to help encourage employee's work satisfaction.

패션전공 전문대학생들의 전공선택동기 및 전공만족도가 중도탈락의도에 미치는 영향

This study analyzed the effect of motivation of major selection and major satisfaction of fashion college students on dropout intention. The purpose of the study is to lower the dropout intention at the college and departmental level and use it as basic data to create an academic continuity environment based on the analysis results. As a result of the study, internal motivation was higher than external motivation in motivation of major selection, and major satisfaction was higher in the order of relationship satisfaction, subject satisfaction, class satisfaction, and perception satisfaction. In addition, as a result of analyzing correlation and cross loading between motivation of major selection and major satisfaction, subject satisfaction and perception satisfaction showed the highest positive correlation. As a result of the hypothesis test, it can be seen that increasing the internal motivation of the motivation of major selection increases the subject satisfaction, class satisfaction, relationship satisfaction, and perception satisfaction of major satisfaction, and lowers the dropout intention. In addition, it can be seen that increasing the external motivation of the major selection increases the perception satisfaction of major satisfaction, and increasing subject satisfaction and class satisfaction lowers the dropout intention. Lastly, as a result of verifying the indirect effect, increasing the internal motivation for choosing a major not only lowers the dropout intention, but also increases subject satisfaction, and this leads to lowering the dropout intention.

일개지역 전문대학 보건행정과 학생들의 전공 만족과 향후 진로 선택의 상관성

본 연구 대상은 광주‧전남 보건행정학과 대학생으로 전공과 만족을 일반, 관계, 인식, 교과만족도에 따라 만 족도를 파악하고 향후 진로 선택과 상관성을 설문을 통하여 조사 하였다. 광주광역시 3곳, 전라남도 4개의 전문대학 대학생 270명을 편의 추출하였다. 연구결과 연구 대상자 중 향후 전공 진로를 의무기록사로 선택하고자 하는 대상자 가 가장 많았으며, 그 중 62.4%가 전공과에 만족하였고, 향후 진로별로 전공 만족도는 차이가 있었으며, 의무기록사 를 선택하고자 하는 학생들이 타 전공 진로를 선택하고자 하는 학생에 비해 전공과 만족이 높았다. 보건행정학과 학 생의 전공 진로 선택에 전공 만족이 미치는 영향 요인 중 일반적인 특성에서 3학년에 비해 2학년의 전공 만족도가 4.13배 높았고, 입학 당시 비자발적으로 선택한 그룹에 비해 자발적으로 전공(학과)을 선택한 그룹의 전공만족도가 8.04배 유의하게 높았다. 전공 만족 하위 영역 중 전공만족에 미치는 영향을 분석한 결과 인식 만족도가 하인 그룹에 비해 상인 그룹에서 전공 만족도가 3.93배 유의하게 높았다. 전공과 만족이 향후 진로 선택에 미치는 영향을 로지스 틱 분석한 결과 전공 진로를 의무기록사로 선택하고자 하였을 경우 의무기록사를 선택하지 않은 학생들에 비해 전공 만족도가 2.06배 유의하게 높았고, 비자발적으로 선택한 의무기록사 그룹보다 자발적으로 선택한 의무기록사 그룹에 서 전공만족도가 4.51배 유의하게 높았다. 전공과 만족 및 향후 진로에 대한 긍정적인 인식을 하고 전공 만족 하위 영역 중 인식 만족도가 높을수록 전공과 선택에 만족하며, 진로에 대한 긍정적인 인식을 하고 있을 때 진로 선택과 상관성이 있는 것으로 나타났다. 전공 진로가 다양한 보건행정 학과 특성을 고려한 각 전공 진로별 전공 만족도를 높 이는 방안이 고려되어야 할 것이다. This research, targeting the college students majoring in health administration science in Kwangju & Chonnam, is aimed at understanding their satisfaction with majors according to general, relationship, consciousness, and subject satisfaction, and looking into the correlation between the satisfaction and further career choices. This research set the 270 prospective graduates its study subjects based on convenience sampling. It was found that the number of students who want to choose their further major-related careers as medical records technician was greatest among the research subjects, of whom 62.4% were satisfied with their major subject while there existed a little difference in major satisfaction by further career. In addition, the students who want to choose the career of medical records filer showed higher satisfaction with their major subject than those who want to choose other-major-related careers. In general characteristics among the influential factors of major satisfaction in major-related career choices of a students of health administration science department, the 2nd year classes' major satisfaction was found to be 4.13 times as high as the 3rd year classes while the major satisfaction of the group choosing their major subject spontaneously was found to be 8.04 times as significantly high as the group choosing their major subject involuntarily. As a result of the analysis of the influence on major satisfaction among the sub-province of major satisfaction, it was found that the group having high consciousness satisfaction was 3.93 times as significantly high as the group having low consciousness satisfaction. A logistic analysis of the influence of major satisfaction on further career choices, the major satisfaction of those wishing to choose their major-related career as a medical records technician was 2.06 times as significantly high as those who didn't choose a medical records filer as their career choice while the major satisfaction of the group spontaneously choosing the career of a medical records technician was 4.51 times as significantly high as that of the group involuntarily choosing the career of a medical records technician. There should be a plan for enhancing major satisfaction by each major-related career in consideration of the characteristics of health administration science department having diverse career choices.

일부 치위생(학)과 학생의 전공선택동기, 전공만족도가 대학생활적응에 미치는 영향

Objectives This study confirmed the effect of some dental hygiene departments and students' motivation to choose a major and satisfaction with their major on college life adjustment. Methods In the first semester of 2021, a survey was conducted on general characteristics, major selection motive, major satisfaction, and college life adaptation to 367 students from the dental hygiene department of G University located in Gwangju. Using the collected data, the motivation for choosing a major according to the general characteristics of the subjects, satisfaction with the major, correlation between college life adaptation and variables, and factors affecting college life adaptation were analyzed using SPSS 18.0. Results According to the general characteristics, the motivation for choosing a major, satisfaction with the major, and adaptation to college life showed significant differences in grade, course selection path, and reason for department application. Among the motivations for choosing a major, intrinsic motivation and major satisfaction had a strong positive correlation with college life adjustment. Intrinsic motivation among major selection motives and class satisfaction, relationship satisfaction, and cognitive satisfaction among major satisfaction were identified as significant variables as factors influencing college life adjustment. Conclusions In order to increase college students' adaptation to college life, it is necessary to design classes by considering intrinsic motivation when choosing a major and recognizing the importance of class satisfaction, relationship satisfaction, and cognitive satisfaction.

안경광학과 대학생들의 전공 선택 동기 및 전공 만족도의 관계 - 충청지역 중심으로-

목 적: 안경광학과 대학생들의 전공 관련 특성을 조사하여 전공 선택 동기 및 전공 만족도의 관계 분석 을 통해 안경광학과 학생들의 전공 만족도를 높이고, 학생 지도에 필요한 기초 자료를 제공하고자 한다. 방 법: 충청지역 안경광학과 재학생 343명을 대상자로 전공 관련 특성을 설문 조사하여, 전공 선택 동기 와 전공 만족도의 관계를 비교 분석하였다. 결 과: 안경광학과 전공을 선택하는 동기로는 주변의 권유가 가장 많았으며, 전공을 결정하는데 있어서 는 부모님의 영향이 크게 나타났다. 전공 만족도 중 교과 만족이 3.52로 가장 높았다. 본인의 적성과 흥미로 전공을 선택한 학생은 적지만, 전공 만족도의 모든 항목에서 가장 높은 만족도로 나타났다. 전문대와 4년제 학생들은 일반 만족과 관계 만족, 교과만족에서 유의한 결과를 보였고, 출신학교 유형별로는 일반 만족에서 유의한 결과를 얻었다. 전공 선택 동기는 전공 만족도의 모든 항목에서 유의한 결과로 나타났으며, 전공 결 정에 영향을 주는 요인은 인식 만족에서 유의한 결과를 얻었다. 결 론: 안경광학과의 전공 선택 동기와 전공 만족도의 연구를 통해 학생 지도에 필요한 기초 자료로 활 용하여 안경광학과의 위기를 극복하고, 우수한 안경사 인력을 배출하는데 도움이 되리라 사료된다. Purpose: To increase major satisfaction in students of Dept. of Optometry and provide a preliminary data which is needed for students coaching through analyze relation of major choice motivation and major satisfaction based on research of major characteristic from students of Dept. of Optometry. Methods: Analyze survey of major characteristic from 343 students of Dept. of Optometry in Chungcheong region. Compare and analyze a relation of major choice motivation and major satisfaction. Results: Advice from acquaintances is the highest point in major choice motivation. Students are greatly influenced by their parents when they decide a major. Satisfaction of curriculum is the highest level in major satisfaction. Even though there are few students who decide a major by their attitude and interesting, it is highest satisfaction value in every item of major satisfaction. College and university students show a correlation result in normal, relation and curriculum satisfaction. Normal satisfaction is correlation result in case of graduated school. Major choice motivation shows correlation result in every item of major satisfaction. A factor which effects a major decision is correlation result in recognition satisfaction. Conclusion: Applied baseline data for students coaching through analyze relation of major choice motivation and major satisfaction in students of Dept. of Optometry. It is helpful for overcoming a crisis of Dept. of Optometry and producing superior optometrist applied baseline data through analyze.
