        This study aims for improvement and rebuilding of the 'Green Building Certification Criteria Information System;GBCCIS'. To achieve this, improved information system has developed self-assessment program available on the web and to provide data about the target of Green Building Certification based on the 2010 revised criteria. The target building of Green Building Certification is Apartment, Office, Mixed-Use Building, School, property for sale, accommodation, and other facilities. Also, the information system about the Green building related technologies and techniques to take advantage of offer a variety of information was built. Green Building Certification Criteria web-site Established in this study has information and each menu and contents are linked to organic and high-utilization. Each menu is organized according to the used frequency and the group. Also this web-site is composed of information guide field, core service field, and other field. These improvement of Green Building Certification Criteria Information System can be a positive incentive measures for the activation of Green Building Certification Criteria easily by taking advantage of relevant information by users. And these will be possible to planning development of Green building technologies by introducing the latest Green building construction techniques applicable building. Also, to assess in advance by using self-assessment program in the design phase of building will lead to Green building design and provide the convenience of the application process and through database construction and share information of building assessment resources certified Green Building Certification Criteria will lead to the containment and fair assessment between cation authorities.

        그린빌딩 인증, 인증의 종류와 잠재적 임차인의 빌딩 선호도

        Purpose: Even though building certification is commonly regarded as an important tool to expand green buildings, researchers have given relatively little attention to the relationship between green building certification and tenants’ building preference. In this regard, this study investigates the effect of buildings’ green building certification on potential tenants’ building preferences by employing a experiment. Composition/Logic: This paper consists of five sections. The first section deals with the purpose and underlying interests of this study and the second section reviews the related literature and presents this study’s hypotheses. The third section outlines the experiment’s methodology and the forth section summarizes the experiment results. Lastly, in the fifth section, we discuss the implications and limitations of this study. Findings: We found that green building certification is positively related to potential tenants’ building preferences. Then, we also found that by using unbalanced certification structure compared to balanced one, the effects of green building certification are greater. Originality/Value: This is the study to investigate the cognitive effect of having green building certification on potential tenants, which has not received relatively much attention despite its importance.

        Since 2002, green building certification has implemented and Ministry of land, Infrastructure and Transport have the aim that greenhouse gasses will be decreased to 26.9% by 2020 in architecture for revitalization of green building with spreading green building and enforcing a law of making green building. However, there has been lack of research for relation of prices and green building certification. Therefore, this research is to grasp the effect of green building certification with prices trough market research. The process of this research was as follows : 1. Selection of buildings 2. Selection of subsections and grades 3. multiple regression analysis. The result was presented brand, completion, railway station sphere and certification in order of effect.

        Study of Green Building Certification for Healthcare Facilities in Korea - Improvement of the Evaluation of Indoor Environments -

        The development of green building certification systems is moving towards specialization and customization to adapt to the needs of specific building types; such is the case for healthcare facilities, which having conditions to be taken into consideration. Particularly for healthcare facilities, the indoor environment is primordial as it is directly impacting the health and well-being of the occupants within the building. The Green Standard for Energy and Environmental Design (G-SEED) is the green building certification developed by the Korean government. While it has gone thorough major revisions in September 2016, the healthcare facilities building type remained as being evaluated as a 'General Building' without any consideration for its function and any modified evaluation criteria. International green building certification programs such as LEED and BREEAM already have in place a distinct evaluation system for healthcare facilities. In Korea, the population is rapidly aging, and the demand for the construction of healthcare facilities is on the rise. Healthcare facilities are generally complex in function and are large energy consumers, consideration for green building design, such as energy and water efficiency will be essential. In parallel, the design of healthcare facilities will need to be mindful of the use by a variety of occupants, including medical staff, visitors and patients. In other words, the healthcare facilities would need to improve its “indoor environment” in order to optimize the well-being, comfort and health of the occupants, which could be physical or mental. This paper studies the Korean G-SEED certification and its relevance to healthcare facilities and attempts to define the future needs to be addressed in its implementation. Research methodology consists of literature review, comparative analysis of G-SEED with international certification programs (LEED and BREEAM) by assessing the relevance of “indoor environment” for healthcare facilities. Preliminary results of the study suggest discrepancies between the performed evaluation and the actual needs, and improvement measures to the evaluation of “indoor environment” in these facilities are proposed.

        기타 용도 건물 친환경건축물 인증기준 마련에 관한 연구

        Now, Green Building Certification Criteria for Multi-unit residential building, Mixed-use dwellings, Office building and School are enforced, and Green Building Certification Criteria for Store and Hotel are under development. Although construction rate of the above 6 buildings is higher than that of other buildings, environmental performance assessment for other buildings needs to be considered.The purpose of this study is to make Green Building Certification Criteria for other buildings except for Multi-unit residential building, Mixed-use dwellings, Office building, School, Store and Hotel, which is based on core items of Green Building Certification Criteria for the above 6 buildings.

        BIM기반 친환경건축물 등급 인증기준의 에너지성능지표(E.P.I)의 개선방안에 관한 연구

        Today, there is a growing recognition of environmental pollution worldwide and green buildings and energy saving buildings for green growth are collectively being developed, according to the recent architectural trend. For those reasons, many countries in the world are establishing laws for green growth and modifying design guidelines and green building certification systems, currently. Korean government also announced the national strategies for green growth and set ‘Green Building Certification Systems’ and ‘Energy Saving Design Standards of Buildings’ by establishing the Green Growth Committee directly responsible to the President, according to this global trend. In the domestic green building certification systems, energy performance of buildings are being verified and assessed based on the ‘Energy Performance Index Review’ of ‘the Energy Saving Design Standards of Buildings’, but the current verification method is being carried out based on overall heat transfer coefficient of thermal insulators, walls, roofs, slabs, windows and doors and thickness and scale. It is therefore inappropriate to verify energy saving plans from the beginning stage of building design. To get over them, we need to assess alternatives directly using BIM-based 3D Modeling and Simulation and remedy the current verification methods, according to changes in design elements and energy performance. This experiment was designed to model business Facilities using BIM-based Revit Architecture and analyze energy performance of buildings, depending on changes in geography, weather information, direction and facade plan which have been insufficiently verified so far, even though they are closely related to energy performance of buildings, after extracting information of buildings modeled by a building energy performance analysis program, Ecotect Analysis using gbXML extension. After investigating the possibility for simulation verification methods through BIM-based modeling, in this study, change aspects of the energy performance index were analyzed, according to changes in building design elements. Based on the analysis results, this study will suggest supplement points and appropriate verification methods for the future BIM-based green building certification.

        친환경건축인증 공공건축물의 지속가능성 개념에 따른 표현 특성 연구 -국내 친환경건축인증 공공청사를 대상으로-

        (연구배경 및 목적) 정부에서는 친환경건축물의 확산을 위해 ‘공공기관 에너지 이용 합리화 추진지침’을 제정하여 공공건축물에 대해 친환경건축물인증과 에너지효율등급 등을 의무적으로 취득하도록 하고 있고, 특히 공공건축 분야는 녹색건축과 함께 선도적으로 주민들의 이해와 체험을 통한 인식변화를 이끌 수 있는 공공의 역할에 대한 필요성이 대두되고 있다. 이에 본 연구는 현재 국내 공공건축물 중 친환경건축인증을 획득한 국내 공공청사를 대상으로 친환경건축의 근본적 속성인 지속가능한 건축의 개념을 다양한 측면에서 고찰하여 현대건축에 적용가능한 표현 특성과 요소들을 추출하여 공공건축물의 지속가능성 개념에 관한 건축적 표현특성을 진단하고자 한다. (연구방법) 본 연구는 친환경건축인증 공공건축물과 건축에서의 지속가능성 개념을 고찰하고, 선행 연구를 통해 지속가능한 개념의 표현요소를 도출하여 국내 친환경건축인증 공공건축물의 지속가능성 개념에 관한 건축적 표현특성을 규명하고자 한다. 분석 방법은 선행 연구를 통해 도출한 건축적 표현특성을 재정리하고 생태적 관점과 에너지적 관점의 세부 개념에 따른 건축적 표현내용과 요소를 기준으로 국내 친환경건축인증 공공청사의 건축적 표현특성을 분석한다. 분석의 대상은 국내에서 친환경건축 인증제도가 시행된 2002년 이후 계획 설립된 친환경건축인증 우수등급 이상의 국내 공공건축물중 공공청사로 한정한다. (결과) 분석의 결과 성남시청사는 생태적 관점의 전체성 4/5점, 순환성 4/5점, 항상성 5/5점으로 나타나 총 15점 중 13점을 만족하였고, 에너지적 관점에서 열에너지 4/4점, 빛에너지 4/6점, 바람에너지 3/5점으로 총 15점 중 11점을 만족하여 지속가능성 개념의 건축적 표현특성 총 30점 중 24점을 획득하였다. 서울시청사는 생태적 관점의 전체성 4/5점, 순환성 4/5점, 항상성 5/5점으로 나타나 총 15점 중 13점을 만족하였고, 에너지적 관점에서 열에너지는 4/4점, 빛에너지는 4/6점, 바람에너지는 2/5점으로 총 15점 중 10점을 획득하여 지속가능성 개념의 건축적 표현특성 총 30점 중 23점을 만족하였다. 마지막으로 충청남도청사는 생태적 관점 너지는 5/5점으로 총 15점 중 12점을 획득하여 지속가능성 개념의 건축적 표현특성 총 30점 중 27점을 만족하였다. (결론) 성남시청사는 생태적 87%, 에너지적 73%으로 총 80% 수준을 만족하는 것으로 나타났고, 서울시청사는 생태적 87%, 에너지적 67%으로 총 77% 수준을 만족하는 것으로 나타났으며 충청남도청사는 생태적 100%, 에너지적 80%으로 총 90% 수준을 만족하는 것으로 나타났다. 모든 항목을 종합하였을 때 생태적 관점 91%, 에너지적 관점 73%로 에너지적 개념을 담은 표현요소보다 생태적 개념을 반영한 표현특성이 강하게 나타났다. 또한, 전체적으로도 82%로 높은 수준으로 나타나 우수한 지속가능한 친환경적 특성을 갖는 것으로 나타났다. 가장 높은 수준의 지속가능성 개념이 건축적으로 표현된 건축물은 충청남도청사(90%)였으며 뒤를 이어 성남시청사(80%), 서울시청사(77%)순을 나타났다. 본 연구를 통해 국내 친환경 공공청사는 지속가능성 개념의 건축적 표현이 높은 수준으로 적용되어 생태적으로나 에너지적으로 우수한 친환경적 특성을 갖는 것을 확인할 수 있었다. 과거 연구에서 일반 친환경건축인증건축물은 지속가능성 개념 중 생태적 개념의 표현이 다른 요소들에 비해 상대적으로 매우 부족한 것으로 나타났으나 본 연구에서는 국내 공공건축물 중 친환경건축인증 공공청사들은 에너지적 측면과 더불어 생태적 개념을 적용한 디자인적 표현 역시 인증을 받은 일반건축물들과 비교하여 매우 뛰어남을 확인할 수 있었다. (Background and Purpose) To spread Green buildings, the government established the “Guidelines for Rationalizing Energy Use” to obtain Green building certification and energy efficiency grades for public buildings. In particular, the public building sector needs green buildings. In response, this study aims to examine the concept of sustainable architecture, which is a fundamental attribute of Green architecture, in various aspects and diagnose the expressionist architectural characteristics of public buildings. (Method) This study examines sustainability concepts in public buildings and buildings certified as Green buildings and draws expressions of sustainable concepts through prior research to identify expressionist architectural characteristics on sustainability concepts in domestic Green buildings. The analysis method rearranges such characteristics derived from prior research and analyzes them with regards to public buildings based on architectural contents and elements supported by detailed concepts of ecological and energy perspectives. The targets of the analysis are limited to public buildings among domestic public buildings with excellent Green building certification grades, which were established after 2002 when the certification system was implemented in domestic buildings. (Results) According to the analysis, Seongnam City Hall satisfied 13 out of 15 points with 4/5 points in ecological view and circulation, respectively, 5/5 points for constancy, 4/4 points for thermal energy, 4/6 points for light energy, and 3/5 points for wind energy. The Seoul City Hall scored 13 out of 15 points with 4/5 points in ecological view and circulation, respectively, 5/5 points for constancy, 4/4 points for thermal energy, 4/6 points for light energy, and 2/5 points for wind energy. Finally, Chungcheongnam-do Office obtained 12 out of 15 points with 5/5 points for ecological view, satisfying 27 out of 30 points of expressionist architectural characteristics of the concept of sustainability. (Conclusions) Seongnam City Hall scored 80% with 87% in ecology and 73% in energy, Seoul City Hall scored 77% with 87% in ecology and 67% in energy, Chungcheongnam-do Province scored 90% with 100% in ecology and 80% in energy. When all items were combined, 91% of ecological perspectives and 73% of energy perspectives showed stronger expressive characteristics reflecting ecological concepts, instead of expressive elements, containing energy concepts. In addition, 82% of the total was found to have excellent sustainable Green characteristics. Moreover, the buildings with the highest level of sustainability concept were Chungcheongnam-do Office (90%), followed by Seongnam City Hall (80%) and Seoul City Hall (77%). Through this study, it was confirmed that domestic Green public buildings have Green characteristics that are excellent ecologically and energetically because of the high-level architectural expression of the sustainability concept. In addition, among domestic public buildings, Green building certified public buildings showed excellent design expression with ecological concepts compared to certified general buildings.

        녹색건축 인증을 위한 BIM 라이브러리 요구정보 체계화 방안 연구

        In this paper, evaluation element information was analyzed for BIM-based green building certification evaluation and a study was conducted to systematize evaluation element information in the BIM library. The purpose is to utilize BIM data in various ways in the green building certification evaluation process and to evaluate it more efficiently in the design certification evaluation process. If BIM data with architectural information is used, data necessary for green building certification evaluation can be easily searched and compared and analyzed using a computer. However, using 2D data, which is an existing evaluation method, evaluators find and additionally interpret information necessary for evaluation in books and drawings. In this study, evaluation classification and evaluation element information were derived for each evaluation item in order to evaluate BIM-based green building certification. In addition, the BIM data classification system was analyzed and the method of systematizing the information required for green building certification was studied using the BIM library. If information for green building certification is used in the BIM library, evaluation data can be written more efficiently and evaluation will be convenient than the existing 2D method.

      • 친환경 건축물 인증제도에서의 화재안전 항목개발 연구

        This paper can be used in high-rise office building for Green Building Certification System and its significance to the development of the practical items. The damage incurred by high-rise building fires is much greater than that of low buildings. Prevention measures are still weak and it is urgent to establish policies. Green Building Certification System for fire safety can be attained by establishing items to ensure the safety of users. Based on the green building certification system effective as of July 1st 2010, the paper analyzes the comparison of the fire safety system and previously performed details, to recognize the need for them is proposed. According to NEMA report by fire in place, there are 4 times more none-residential building fire accidents than residential building fires. New Green Building Certification Standards of energy and indoor environmental sector has accounted for the largest grading. Not all fire prevention and safety measures have been regarded or established. This paper proposes it is necessary to add a new item. Maintenance sector, especially in the seventh with or without the installation of fire protection system, and forbid the new weighting is required.
