A Study on Influence of Economic Preparation for Later Life after Retirement

This study examines how economic preparation for later life directly influences life after retirement. As people's life cycle is gradually getting longer, preparation for the later time with less economic activity after retirement is becoming more important. Thus, this study analyzes the factors influencing life after retirement. Data comes from the Korean Retirement and Income Study (KReIS) surveyed carried out by the National Pension Research Institute in 2015. The analysis includes Cronbach's alpha, Pearson Product Moment Correlation Coefficient and Sobel Test. This study confirms that voluntary retirement has a positive influence on life satisfaction. Results are in line with previous research about the relationship between voluntary retirement and retired life. When a person retires voluntarily, financial preparation can be made in advance for retirement. In case of involuntary retirement, people may experience a sense of loss in personal standing and financial difficulties due to the unexpected situation. Especially, early retirement from the main workplace leads to unstable later life. The study's policy recommendation, in particular, calls on government and businesses to agree on social responsibility for helping employees to retire in the predictable retirement time and, thus, enabling the retiree to decide all aspects of the path after retirement.

은퇴 후 목회자의 경제생활 안정화에 미치는 영향 요인 분석: Delphi Method 중심으로

Due to the rapid entry into an aging society, awareness of the need to prepare for retirement is increasing. Although there is a difference in degree from that of the general public, post-retirement issues regarding pastors with special status who lead religious lives have not been the focus of many studies. This study examined the factors influencing the stabilization of economic life after retirement for two groups, current and retired pastors contemplating retirement, using small churches with less than 50 members of the General Assembly of the Presbyterian Church of Korea (Hapshin) as a sample. As a result of the study, the benefits of pastors, such as physical and mental health, stable income, and public and private pensions, were the same items that could easily be found in the general public. However, in the case of pastors, housing issues after retirement and the need for retirement preparation education were identified as major influencing factors after retirement. This result is because, for small church pastors, the housing problem is a reality that is difficult to cover with retirement expenses. In the case of retirement preparation education, pastors recognize that it is their calling to entrust their old age to God and focus only on ministry, so preparation for retirement itself is dismissed as a lack of faith, and the need for retirement education is ignored. The denomination's general assembly should encourage interest in pastors’ retirement preparation by regularly organizing socially, economically, and theologically balanced programs for pastors’ retirement preparation education through pastors’ retreats. In addition, to solve the residential housing problem, the church must establish short-term and short-term alternatives and provide service and interest in stabilizing the economic life of pastors after retirement so that they can continue to live an honorable retirement life. 고령사회로의 급속한 진입으로 인해 은퇴 후 노후 준비가 필요하다는 인식이 높아지고 있다. 일반인들과 정도의 차이는 있겠지만 종교 생활을 하는 신분적 특수성을 가진 목회자들에 관한 은퇴 후 문제는 많은연구의 중심에서 벗어나 있었다. 본 연구는 대한예수교장로회(합신) 총회에 소속된 50인 이하의 소형교회를 표본으로 은퇴를 고민하는 현직목회자와 은퇴목회자 두 그룹을 대상으로 은퇴 후 경제생활 안정화에미치는 영향 요인을 검증하였다. 연구 결과 목회자의 신체적, 정신적건강, 안정된 소득, 공적연금 및 사적연금 같은 혜택은 일반인들에게서도 어렵지 않게 발견될 수 있는 같은 항목들이었다. 그러나 목회자의경우 은퇴 후 거주할 주택 문제와 은퇴 준비교육의 필요성이 은퇴 후주요한 영향 요인으로 확인되었다. 소형교회 목회자들에게서 거주 주택 문제는 은퇴 비용으로는 감당하기 어려운 현실로 다가오기 때문이다. 은퇴 준비교육의 경우, 목회자는 노후를 하나님께 맡기고 목회에만전념하는 것이 소명이라고 인식하므로 노후 준비 자체가 믿음이 없는것으로 치부되어 은퇴 교육의 필요성이 무시되기 때문이다. 교단 총회는 목회자 수련회 때마다 사회적, 경제적, 신학적으로 균형 잡힌 프로그램을 의무화하여 목회자 은퇴 계획에 관한 관심을 불러일으킬 것을제안한다. 거주 주택 문제 해결을 위해 교회는 장, 단기적인 대안을 세워 은퇴 후 목회자의 경제생활 안정화로 명예로운 은퇴 생활을 지속할수 있는 섬김과 관심을 가져야 할 것이다.

중년 1인 가구의 사회적 관계와 경제적 노후준비

Objective: The purpose of this study is to find out the effect of middle-aged one-person households on social relations and economic preparation for retirement. In addition, even within one-person households, I attempted to determine the difference according to whether the cause of the households’ composition was separation after marriage or a one-person household without a spouse due to being unmarried, bereavement, or divorce. Conclusions: As a result of the analysis using the data of the 2019 Social Survey of the National Statistical Office, single-person households had weaker economic conditions, social relations, and economic preparation for retirement when compared to multi-person households. One-person households lacked a social network to receive help when they face difficulties compared to multi-person households, but there was no effect on group activities or the satisfaction with human relationships. However, households with no spouse had a negative impact on the social network, group activities, and the satisfaction with human relationships. Middle-aged one-person households and one-person households with no spouse had a negative effect on economic preparation for retirement, when labor activity and asset variables were not considered. However, statistical significance was not found when these variables were considered.

수익용부동산 투자결정요인이 은퇴준비에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구

This study attempted to investigate the relationship between income property investment determinants and preparation for economic retirement of those aged their 40s or older. As a result, the following findings could be summarized. First, such investment related environmental factors as institutional environment and economic environment had a significant effect on real estate investment decisions. It indicates that their intention to investment is influenced by the investment related environmental factors as the institutional or economic environment becomes more important. Second, income property investment of factor analysis results, associated profitability, product and location, the characteristics of profitability and product for profit is having a positive significant effect. Real estate investment characteristics for the correlation effects of the product is a negative significant and no heed to the analysis results. Finally, it was found that income property investment decisions had a significant effect on economic preparation for retirement. This suggests that investment in income property oriented towards the stable structure of cash inflow plays a role in filling the gap between the reality and the uncertain future on account of the great uncertainty for both the economic situation and for people s old age.

Andersen모형을 적용한 장애인의 경제적 노후준비에 영향을 미치는 요인

본 연구는 장애인들의 경제적 노후준비에 영향을 주는 요인을 파악하기 위하여 Andersen의 행동모형을 적용하였다. 2012년 5월 21일부터 7월 31일까지 조사한 장애인고용패널 5차년도 자료 중 30세 이상 60세 이하 2869명을 대상으로 SPSS 20 program을 이용하여 로지스틱 회귀분석을 실시하였다. 장애인의 노후준비에 영향을 미치는 소인요인으로는 학력, 결혼 상태이고, 기능요인에서는 취업여부, 비수급여부 및 자가주택 여부가 그렇지 않은 경우에 비해 노후준비가능성이 높았다. 또한, 총수입이 증가할수록 노후준비 가능성도 증가하는 것으로 나타났다. 마지막으로 욕구요인에서는 주관적 사회경제적 지위, 일상생활만족도 및 자아존중감이 높을수록 노후준비가능성은 증가하였다. 이에 장애인의 경제적인 노후준비를 돕기 위해서는 그들의 다각적인 요인을 파악하고 개별적인 요구들을 반영할 수 있는 정책마련 및 프로그램이 운영 되어야 할 것이다. The present study identified the factors of economic retirement preparation for people living with disabilities using the Andersen’s behavioral model. The 2012 Disabled Employment Panel Survey data were collected from May 21, 2012 to July 31, 2012 and were analyzed by applying the SPSS 20 program. Logistic regression analysis was carried out on a sample of 2,869 people aged 30 to 60 years. The predisposing factors (education, marital status), possibility factors (employment, non-basic livelihood security recipient status, homeowner status, income), and desire factors (subjective socioeconomic status, life satisfaction, self-esteem) affected the retirement preparation. To help people living with disabilities, policies and programs based on the factors that reflect the individual needs must be established.

은퇴목회자의 은퇴준비가 성공적 노후에 미치는 영향

The purpose of the study was to examine the relationship between retirement preparation and successful senior life of retired pastors. The results of the study are summed up as follows. First, the level of successful senior life was shown to be favorable with an overall mean 2.97, a little higher than 2.5 which is a median on the scale of 4. Second, retirement preparation was found to be average with a mean of 2.49. Third, the study compared the means of the level of successful senior life and retirement preparation depending on ages, economic activities, characteristics of residing areas, retirement types, and the congregation power of the church they retire from. In economic activities, the preparation level was higher in retired pastors who engaged in economic activities in terms of the total score of retirement preparation and sub-dimensions of retirement preparation than those who aren’t. 본 연구는 은퇴목회자의 은퇴준비 실태와 그에 따른 성공적 노후 수준과의 관련성을 살펴봄으로써 목회자의 성공적인 노후를 준비하고 지원할 수 있는 방안을 마련하고자 하였다. 연구결과 전반적으로 은퇴목사들의 성공적 노후 수준은 중간보다 약간 낮은 것으로 나타났다. 특히 경제적 준비 수준과 주거생활준비 수준이 낮게 나타났다. 또한 연령이 낮을수록 은퇴준비 수준이 높은 것으로 나타났다. 소득활동 여부에 따른 은퇴준비의 차이는 유의미하였다. 건강생활준비와 가족생활준비에서 경제적 지원제도가 있는 응답자가 그렇지 않은 응답자에 비해 높았다. 은퇴준비 총점과 성공적 노후의 상관관계계수 r=.313(p<.01)으로 유의한 정적 상관관계를 갖는 것으로 나타났다. 경제적 준비 차원과 주거생활준비, 건강생활준비, 여가생활준비, 족생활준비 등이 성공적 노화와 유의한 정적 관계에 있는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 결과를 토대로 첫째, 제도적 차원의 노후소득보장 체계를 강화할 필요가 있다. 둘째, 경제적 준비 수준과 주거생활준비에 대한 철저한 노후대비가 이루어져야 할 것이다. 셋째, 목회자를 위한들에게 은퇴준비교육 및 지원시스템을 마련할 필요가 있다. 넷째 통합적인 은퇴준비 정책과 전략을 목회자 개인은 물론 교단 차원에서 체계적으로 마련해야 할 필요가 있다. 다섯째, 경제적 측면에서 벗어나 포괄적 차원에서 은퇴준비를 위한 종단차원의 정책 마련되아야 할 것이다.

퇴직예정 경찰공무원의 노후준비와 퇴직준비 교육의 필요성에 대한 인식

본 연구는 경찰공무원의 퇴직 준비 교육의 필요성에 대해 퇴직예정 경찰공무원들을 대상으로 한 설문조사 결과를 바탕으로 정책적인 제언을 함에 목적이 있다. 연구방법은 경찰인재개발원에서 교육 중인 공로연수 과정생 165명을 대상으로 실시한 설문조사 자료를 통계적으로 분석하였다. SPSS WIN 25.0 프로그램을 이용하여 ANOVA 분석과 t-test, 다중회귀분석을 실시하였다. 분석결과는 다 음과 같다. 퇴직예정 경찰공무원들은 퇴직준비 프로그램 도입이 필요하다고 인식하였으며, 퇴직준비 프로그 램 중에는 퇴직 후 각종 혜택 안내가 가장 필요하다고 인식하였다. 경제적 노후준비를 위해서는 가 계의 총 자산의 잦은 계산을 가장 많이 하고 있었으나 전반적으로 경제적 노후준비는 그다지 하지 않았으며, 계급이 높은 경찰공무원일수록, 그리고 부양가족이 1명인 경찰관이 그렇지 않은 경찰공무 원보다 경제적 노후준비를 많이 하였다. 또한 신체적 노후준비를 위해서는 건강관리를 가장 많이 하 고 있는 반면 음식물 조절을 가장 적게 하고 있었고, 전반적으로 신체적 노후준비는 하고 있었으며, 부앙가족이 적은 경찰공무원일수록 신체적 노후준비를 많이 하였다. 퇴직예정 경찰공무원들의 노후 를 위한 경제적 준비와 신체적 준비는 퇴직준비 프로그램의 도입 필요성에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. The purpose of this study is to make policy suggestions based on the results of a survey of police officers scheduled to retire on the necessity of education for retirement preparation for ritired police officers. The research method statistically analyzed the data of a survey conducted on 165 students in the contriution training course at the Police Human Resources Development Institute. ANOVA analysis, t-test, and multiple regression analysis were performed using the SPSS WIN 25.0 program. The analysis results are as follows. Retired police officers planning to retire recognized that the introduction of a retirement preparation program was necessary, and among the retirement preparation programs, information on various benefits after retirement was the most necessary. In order to prepare for economic retirement, the household's total assets were most frequently calculated, but overall economic retirement preparation was not very much. In addition, for physical retirement preparation, health management was the most, on the other hand food control was the least, and overall physical retirement preparation was performed. It was found that the economic and physical preparation of retired police officers for retirement had an effect on the necessity of introducing a retirement preparation program.

은퇴자의 주관적 건강인식이 삶의 만족도에 미치는 영향

The aim of this study is to examine the relation between self-perceived health and life satisfaction by investigating the moderating effect of economic preparation for aging and the influence on self-perceived health and life satisfaction, with suggestions for practice and policy implications, using a sample of 3,304 retirees over the age 50 from the 2011 data Korea Retirement and Income Study(KReIS). Multi regression analysis was executed using Stata 11.0 and Sas 9.1 to investigate the relations and influences among variables. Our analysis reveals that firstly, self-perceived health of the retirees is correlated positively with life satisfaction and secondly, economic preparation moderates in between the relation of self-perceived health and life satisfaction of the retirees. Supportive policies are required as the result implies the importance of health perception, health care, and economic preparation to supplement reduced income in order to improve life satisfaction in aging.
