        한국인 뇌혈관질환의 위험요인에 관한 메타분석

        This study was conducted to integrate the results of studies which evaluated or identified the risk factors of CVD(cerebrovascular disorders) for Koreans. We retrieved the literature published in Korean by manual search and the English literature by Medline database to identify studies on the relationship between reported risk factors and CVD conducted for the Korean from 1980 to August, 1997. Hypertension and total serum cholesterol were selected as subjects of quantitative meta-analysis on risk factors of CVD in Koreans. The overall effect sizes of the risk of CVD due to hypertension and total serum cholesterol were calculated by common odds ratio(OR) and average standardized mean difference, retrospectively. Before the integration of each effect sizes into common effect sizes, the heterogeneity tests were conducted. Also, sensitivity tests were conducted for the estimated common effect sizes. Regarding hypertension and CVD, a total of 9 epidemiologic studies were identified with a total of 2,271 cases of CVD. The overall OR of hypertension associated CVD was 4.10(95% confidence interval[CI] 3.56 to 4.71). The OR of hypertension associated with hemorrhagic CVD and ischemic CVD were 6.56(95% CI : 4.92 to 8.80) and 3.28 (95% CI : 2.77 to 3.90), retrospectively. The OR of hypertension in relation to hemorrhagic CVD was significantly higher than that of hypertension in relation to overall CVD or ischemic CVD. Regarding total serum cholesterol and ischemic CVD, total 9 epidemiologic studies were identified with a total of 843 cases of ischemic CVD. Average mean difference as an effect size was 0.76, which was judged an important value according to Cohen's criteria. Our data suggested that hypertension was an important risk factor of overall CVD and its subtypes, and that the total serum cholesterol was associated with ischemic CVD in Koreans. For the lack of reliable prospective studies, however, we concluded that further research designed longitudinally would be required in this area.

        교정용 와이어 및 브라켓에 이산화티탄 광촉매 코팅 시 코팅방법에 따른 비교연구

        본 연구는 항균 교정장치의 개발에 도움이 되고자 이산화티탄 광촉매의 코팅 시 안정적이고 효과적인 방법을 찾기 위하여 시행되었다. 시판되고 있는 교정용 와이어와 브라켓에 sol-gel법, CVD (Chemical Vapor Deposition)법 및 PE-CVD (Plasma Enhanced-CVD)법으로 이산화티탄을 각각 코팅한 다음 각 방법으로 코팅된 이산화티탄 박막의 특성을 알아보고자 주사전자현미경을 이용하여 각 시편의 코팅박막 표면의 거칠기를 관찰하였고 adhesive tape pull test를 이용하여 코팅박막의 접착강도를 측정하였다. 메틸렌블루용액에 각 시편을 침지시킨 후 시간경과에 따른 메틸렌블루용액의 농도변화 측정을 통해 코팅박막의 분해능을 평가하였으며 불화나트륨 용액에 각 시편을 침지시킨 후 주사전자현미경을 이용하여 표면부식 정도를 관찰함으로써 불소화합물에 대한 내부식성을 평가하여 다음과 같은 결과를 얻었다. 코팅박막의 표면은 CVD법 및 PE-CVD법이 sol-gel법이나 코팅되지 않은 시편에 비해 더 매끄러웠다. 코팅박막의 접착강도는 PE-CVD법이 가장 높았고, CVD법, sol-gel법의 순으로 낮게 나타났다. 코팅박막의 메틸렌블루 분해능은 PE-CVD법이 가장 높았고, CVD법, sol-gel법의 순으로 낮게 나타났다. 코팅박막의 불소화합물에 대한 내부식성은 CVD법 및 PE-CVD법이 sol-gel법에 비해 높게 나타났다. 이상의 결과는 교정용 와이어 및 브라켓의 이산화티탄 광촉매 코팅 시 CVD법 및 PE-CVD법이 sol-gel법보다 적절한 방법임을 시사하였다. The purpose of this study was to search for an appropriate method of coating TiO_(2) on orthodontic appliances. TiO_(2) thin films were deposited on orthodontic wires and brackets using sol-gel, CVD(Chemical Vapor Deposition) and PE-CVD (Plasma Enhanced-CVD) methods. The roughness of TiO_(2)-coated surfaces was investigated via scanning electron microscope (SEM) and adhesive strength of TiO_(2) thin films was measured by adhesive tape pull test. Methylene blue degradation test was carried out to evaluate the photocatalytic activity of TiO_(2) and the corrosion resistance of TiO_(2) thin films against fluoride solution was also analyzed by observing the surfaces of TiO_(2)-coated wires and brackets via SEM after immersion in sodium fluoride solution. Through the comparison of properties and photocatalytic activity of TiO_(2) thin films according to the coating methods, the following results were obtained. Smoother surfaces of TiO_(2) thin films were generated by CVD or PE-CVD methods than through the sol-gel method or the control. Adhesive strength of the TiO_(2) thin films was highest in PE-CVD and gradually became lower in the order of CVD, then the sol-gel method. Photocatalytic activity of TiO_(2) thin films on methylene blue was the highest in PE-CVD and gradually became lower in the order of CVD, then the sol-gel method. Corrosion resistance of TiO_(2) thin films against fluoride solution was stronger in CVD and PE-CVD methods than in the sol-gel method. The results of this study suggest that the CVD or PE-CVD methods is more appropriate than the sol-gel method for TiO_(2)coating on orthodontic wires and brackets.

      • Global, Regional, and National Burden of Cardiovascular Diseases for 10 Causes, 1990 to 2015

        <P><B>Background</B></P><P>The burden of cardiovascular diseases (CVDs) remains unclear in many regions of the world.</P><P><B>Objectives</B></P><P>The GBD (Global Burden of Disease) 2015 study integrated data on disease incidence, prevalence, and mortality to produce consistent, up-to-date estimates for cardiovascular burden.</P><P><B>Methods</B></P><P>CVD mortality was estimated from vital registration and verbal autopsy data. CVD prevalence was estimated using modeling software and data from health surveys, prospective cohorts, health system administrative data, and registries. Years lived with disability (YLD) were estimated by multiplying prevalence by disability weights. Years of life lost (YLL) were estimated by multiplying age-specific CVD deaths by a reference life expectancy. A sociodemographic index (SDI) was created for each location based on income per capita, educational attainment, and fertility.</P><P><B>Results</B></P><P>In 2015, there were an estimated 422.7 million cases of CVD (95% uncertainty interval: 415.53 to 427.87 million cases) and 17.92 million CVD deaths (95% uncertainty interval: 17.59 to 18.28 million CVD deaths). Declines in the age-standardized CVD death rate occurred between 1990 and 2015 in all high-income and some middle-income countries. Ischemic heart disease was the leading cause of CVD health lost globally, as well as in each world region, followed by stroke. As SDI increased beyond 0.25, the highest CVD mortality shifted from women to men. CVD mortality decreased sharply for both sexes in countries with an SDI >0.75.</P><P><B>Conclusions</B></P><P>CVDs remain a major cause of health loss for all regions of the world. Sociodemographic change over the past 25 years has been associated with dramatic declines in CVD in regions with very high SDI, but only a gradual decrease or no change in most regions. Future updates of the GBD study can be used to guide policymakers who are focused on reducing the overall burden of noncommunicable disease and achieving specific global health targets for CVD.</P>

        CVD법을 이용한 적색 인조진주 코팅 및 제조

        현대인의 눈높이에 맞는 친환경적인 고급품질의 인조진주 제품개발이 세계의 악세사리 및 생활 용품 시장에서 요구되고 있다. 본 연구는 고품질의 인조진주 제품을 경제적으로 대량생산하기 위한 방법으로 유기안료를 인조진주 제조용 친환경 무기안료로 대체하고 기존 제조 방식에서 사용하는 주재료였던 니트로셀룰로오스를 우레탄 바인더로 대체하여 광택도가 73.4%에서 86.7%로 증가하였으며 CVD 마감처리 후에는 96%의 높은 광택도를 가졌다. 색차분석 결과 CVD 코팅으로 인하여 빛의 간섭효과 때문에 a*와 b*값이 각각 +37.7에서 +31.9로, +24.5에서 +14.2로 감소하면서 다양한 색을 발현하여 영롱한 빛깔의 인조진주가 제조되었다. 마감 증착된 고품질의 인조진주의 내화학성, 광택도, 색차계, 표면 거칠기, 내마모성, 중금속함량검사, 염수분무테스트 등을 분석하여 품질향상 및 인체 무해성을 확인하였다. Demand for developing artificial green pearl that meets the needs of modern people has been increasing. In this paper, eco-friendly inorganic pearlescent pigment was used instead of organic pigment and urethane resin was substituted for nitrocellulose which has been used as main materials in previous preparation method, increasing gloss from 73.4% to 86.7%. Urethane was coated on substrate before finishing with CVD, resulting high gloss of 96%. Colorimeteric analysis shows that a* and b* of CIE value was changed from +37.7 and +24.5 to +31.9 and +14.2 respectively because of CVD finishing, obtaining colorful, high gloss and durable artificial pearl. Quality and toxicity of samples was established by chemical resistance, glossiness, colorimeter, surface roughness, wear resistance, content of heavy-metal, and salt water test.

        A method for controlling evaporation by using chemical vapor deposition (CVD) with a mixed solution, called “flashing spray CVD” is proposed. As for this method, a mixed solution is transported through an injector installed at the top of the vacuum CVD chamber. The solution is evaporated by flashing when its pressure is below the saturated pressure of the solution, leading to formation of a lean, homogeneous vapor. This homogeneous vapor is then reacted with oxygen to form a film. In this paper, we describe the research result about flashing spray CVD. The characteristics of the flashing spray were investigated at cvd ambient pressure by magnified photography and, LIF and Mie scattering. Tetraethoxysilane (TEOS) was used as the precursor, and the best low-boiling-point organic solvent was selected for mutual solubility of the low-boiling-point organic solvent and TEOS and to improve the vaporization characteristics of TEOS. The best injector shape for a particular injection condition was selected on the basis of vapor-formation speed and distribution by means of optical measurements. Homogeneous SiO2 films could be formed on 200-and 300-mm-diameter wafers by flashing spray CVD. And a novel method for forming nanoparticles by using a flash-boiling spray was also developed. This method applies flashing spray CVD to flame synthesis. We also describe TiO2 nanoparticles production by this method.

        아세틸렌의 열 및 플라즈마 CVD법으로 제조한 탄소나노튜브의 물성과 구조적 특성

        N/A Multi-walled carbon nanotubes (CNTs) were prepared by thermal chemical vapor deposition (CVD) and microwave plasma chemical vapor deposition (MPCVD) using various combination of binary catalysts with four transition metals such as Fe, Co, Cu, and Ni. In the preparation of CNTs from acetylene precursor by thermal CVD, the CNTs with very high yield of 43.6 % was produced over Fe-Co/Al₂O₃. The highest yield of CNTs was obtained with the catalyst reduced for 3 hr and the yield was decreased with increasing reduction time to 5 hr, due to the formation of FeAl₂O₄ metal-aluminate. On the other hand, the CNTs prepared by acethylene plasma CVD had more straight, smaller diameter, and larger aspect ratio(L/D) than those prepared by thermal CVD, although their yield had lower value of 27.7%. The degree of graphitization of CNTs measured by I_d/I_g value and thermal degradation temperature were 1.04 and 602t, respectively.

        CVD로 제작된 SiO<sub>2</sub> 산화막의 투습특성

        본 논문에서는 유기발광다이오드 적용을 위한 보호막 혹은 barrier 적용을 위하여 화학증착방법(CVD)를 이용한 실리콘 산화막을 형성하고, 산화막의 특성에 영향을 미치는 공정조건을 변화시켰다. 이로부터 HDP-CVD를 활용한 $SiO_2$박막 증착을 위한 최적의 공정조건은 $SiH_4:O_2$=30:60[sccm]유량, 소스와 기판과의 거리가 70 [mm], 기판에 Bias를 가하지 않은 조건인 경우 8~10[mtorr] 공정압력에서 매우 안정된 플라즈마 형성이 가능한 최적의 공정조건을 얻었다. 얻어진 공정조건으로 제작된 $SiO_2$산화막의 모콘테스트를 통한 투습율(WVTR)을 조사한 결과 2.2 [$g/m^2$_day]값으로 HDP-CVD로 제작된 $SiO_2$산화막은 유기발광다이오드용 보호막으로의 적용이 어려울 것으로 생각된다. In this paper, we have fabricated $SiO_2$ oxidation thin films by HDP-CVD(high density plasma-chemical vapor deposition) method for passivation layer or barrier layer of OLED(organic light emitting diode). We have control and estimate the deposition rate and relative index characteristics with process parameters and get optimized conditions. They are gas flow rate($SiH_4:O_2$=30:60[sccm]), 70 [mm] distance from source to substrate and no-bias. The WVTR(water vapor transmission rate) is 2.2 [$g/m^2$_day]. Therefore fabricated thin film can not be applied as passivation layer or barrier layer of OLED.

      • 광 CVD에 의한 비정질 실리콘 박막 특성 향상

        The purpose of this work is to investigate the interface characteristics of hydrogenated amorphous silicon thin films prepared by PECVD and photo-induced CVD and to examine the annealing effects of ultraviolet irradiation on hydrogenated amorphous silicon thin films which were degraded by visible light illumination. The interface layer thickness of films deposited by photo-induced CVD was about 600-900.angs. while that by PECVD was about 1000-1300.angs.. These results can show that the quality of interface layer in photo induced CVD film is better than that in PECVD sample. The electrical properties are improved by ultraviolet irradiation on visible light soaked a-Si:H films using photo-CVD light sources, probably due to the fact that UV generates phonons in a-Si:H films and anneal the meta stable defects.

        보석용 합성 다이아몬드의 현황

        In the past few decade years, laboratory-grown diamonds, also known as synthetic diamonds usually, have become more and more prosperous in the global diamond market. There are two main crystal growth processes of the gem-quality laboratory-grown diamond, the high pressure and high temperature (HPHT) and chemical vapor deposition (CVD). Synthetic gem diamonds grown by the HPHT press have been commercially available since the mid-1990s. Today, significant amounts of gem-quality colorless HPHT laboratory-grown diamonds have been producing for the jewelry industry. In the last several years, the CVD laboratory-grown diamonds have been gaining popularity in the market. In 2021, the CVD production rose and there are expectations that the trend would move upward continuously. This article presents information about the current status of laboratory-grown diamonds, lower cost compared to natural diamonds, market share, color distribution, spectroscopic properties of laboratory-grown diamonds, and so on. 지난 수 십 년간 합성 다이아몬드는 글로벌 다이아몬드 시장에서 점점 더 번창해 왔다. 보석용 합성 다이아몬드를 성장시키는 방법에는 HPHT와 CVD의 두 가지 방법이 있다. HPHT 프레스를 이용하여 성장시킨 보석용 합성 다이아몬드는 1990년대 중반부터 상업적인 생산이 가능해졌고, 현재는 상당한 양의 보석용 무색 HPHT 합성 다이아몬드가 보석산업을 위해 생산되고 있다. 몇 년 전부터는 CVD 합성 다이아몬드가 시장에서 반향을 일으키고 있다. 2021년에는 CVD 합성 다이아몬드의 생산량이 급증했으며 이러한 추세는 계속될 것으로 여겨진다. 본 연구에서는 합성 다이아몬드의 현재 상황을 비롯하여 천연 다이아몬드에 비해 낮은 유통가격, 시장 점유율, 컬러 분포, 분광학적 특성 등에 대한 정보를 보여준다.
