        경관생태학과 인문학 그리고 연구방법으로서의 지리정보시스템 활용

        복잡한 제반 환경문제의 해결을 위해서 생태학의 중요성이 새롭게 인식되었다. 이를 계기로 보다 자연 환경 뿐만 아니고 인간에 의한 보다 복잡하고 새로운 형태의 문제 해결을 위해 경관생태학이 새롭게 대두되었다. 경관생태학은 자연 환경에 나타나는 제 현상들 뿐이 아니고 그 안에서 상호작용을 통해 오랫동안 관계를 맺어온 인간 활동에도 크게 관심을 두고 연구한다. 특히, 자연환경과 인간문화가 서로 어떤 영향을 주고받으며 경관변화에 영향을 주고 있는지, 또 과거의 토지 이용 등을 유추하고 현재의 변화를 보며 미래의 경관변화를 유추하는 것은 경관생태학의 큰 연구주제이다. 이렇듯 인간 활동에 의해 나타나는 경관변화 연구가 중요시됨에 따라 인문학에 대한 이해와 공동연구도 크게 증가하고 있다. 경관변화와 같은 연구를 진행하기 위해서 지리정보시스템(GIS, Geographic Information System)을 이용해서 과거와 현재를 통해 미래를 잇는 시ㆍ공간적 연구를 진행하고 있다. 지리정보시스템은 공간의 시ㆍ공간적 연구를 진행하면서 인문학적 자료의 필요성과 다양한 분석 방법이 현재 제시되고 있다. 지리정보시스템을 이용한 경관생태학적 연구와 인문학적 연구의 연결은 학문의 발전뿐 아니라 현실적인 인류가 접하고 있는 제반 환경문제의 이해와 해결에 보다 한걸음 다가갈 수 있는 대안을 제시해 줄 것이다. Importance of ecology is emerging issue to solve the environmental problems in global environmental change. To solve more complicated problems caused by human impact as well as natural environment in the world, landscape ecology is supporting to powerful tools. Landscape ecology is focusing on not only human society influencing on man-nature relationships but also multi-functionality between cause and consequence of natural environments. How natural environment and human culture systems are working together, how they are influencing to landscape change, and how we can estimate landscape dynamics in future; they are very important issue in landscape ecology. Such research on landscape change of human system is need to understand multi-disciplinary research of humanities and natural sciences. Geographic Information System (GIS) is very useful tool to link spatial categories between humanities and natural sciences, and those data is significantly helpful to explore the landscape changes. Geographic Information System is developing to examine the diverse spatial analysis functioning and manipulating humanities data, socio-economic data and ecological data. In recent, landscape ecology is strongly depended on Geographic Information System, and then this cooperation is necessary to establish strategic alternatives to link the gap between environmental conflicts and sustainable development as well as academic development such as disciplinary research.

        생태환경 기반의 미술관 공간 경향 분석

        With the increasing importance and social interest in the protection and management of natural ecosystems in recent years, efforts to effectively maintain natural ecosystems at the national and local levels have become increasingly important. As a dissemination factory of urban culture and art, art museums convey the importance of ecology. Therefore, this research analyzes the design of nearly six representative museums related to ecology, from the overall architecture and natural environment, internal space division, and finally to the application of materials to analyze the characteristics of ecological concepts in the design. And differences. With the passage of time, the designer’s attitude towards ecological nature and the design of art museums has also continued to innovate. The innovative development process of the ecological design concept shows how the designer’s attitude towards natural ecology changes. It also indirectly shows the development process of human society. Finally, the design thinking of ecological concept has a profound influence on the development of art gallery design .

        단보 : 경상남도 내 습지의 공간 분포 및 사회적 특성

        The wetlands have eco-sociological values because their functions have proven to be useful to human society. Many countries are working to conserve and protect the wetland ecosystems. However, many wetlands have disappeared or have been fragmented due to a natural and/or anthropogenic disturbance. These isolated wetlands appear to work best in the landscape, as a spatially distributed system. We have analyzed the spatial-social distribution patterns of wetlands in Gyeongsangnam-do Province (GNP). We examined the frequency distribution of wetland sizes, the distances to the nearest wetlands, the shapes of the wetlands, land-use patterns, land owners, and official land values were confirmed as social characteristics for each wetland. A total of 146 wetlands (3,598.85 ha), including 76 riverine wetlands (1,955.60 ha), 49 palustrine wetlands (1,282.28 ha) and 21 mountain wetlands (1,282.28 ha) were identified in GNP. Most wetlands left for use to drainage were small (/2 ha) and located in agricultural areas. However, small and isolated wetlands were clustered, according to the location, indicating that these wetlands can be connected to each other using the linear riverine wetlands and water channels in agricultural areas. This is extremely valuable in maintaining the biodiversity, such that any loss of small wetlands will cause a direct reduction in the connectedness among populations of the remaining species. Due to most wetlands belonging to the nation or businesses, being classified as reservoirs (water storage areas), and consequently, degradation of wetlands will progress due to grand-scale engineering works. Therefore, wetland policy and ecologically sensitive laws and policies should be developed in order to promote the wise-use for wetlands.

        자연형하천의 환경개선을 위한 생태유량산정 연구

        정확한 하천유량은 하천이 지니고 있는 이수, 치수 및 생태기능이 원활이 유지되기 위해서 가장 중요한 항목이다. 특히 하천의 생태기능은 하천의 환경개선에 있어 매우 중요한 기능이다. 하천의 생태유량에 있어서 하천에 서식하는 생물 및 하천지형에 대한 정확한 정보는 중요한 역할을 한다. 본 논문에서는 유역 및 하천의 지형공간자료를 활용하여 시범적으로 하천의 생태유량을 산정하였다. 하천의 환경복원에 있어서 지형공간자료는 매우 중요한 기초자료로 활용된다. The correct river discharge is a important item to keep a river role of using, controlling and ecology. Especially river role of ecology is very important for environmental development of river. In assesment of ecological flow, exact information of river life and topograph is very important. In this paper, the assesment of environmental flow is conducted using geo-spatial data of basin and river. The geo-spatial data is used as a important basic data in river restoration.

      • Optimization of urban ecological security and spatial pattern based on remote sensing monitoring- A case study of Shenyang

        The study concentrates on the status of ecological environment development in Shenyang, uses the remote sensing images and social statistics in different periods as the data base, establishes a dynamic monitoring system and model of urbanization and ecological security. Through the identification and quantitative analysis of ecological security dynamic monitoring information, with the support of spatial information technology, we have formed a key technology system which combines ecological security warning with ecological security structure optimization. Moreover, the spatial database of ecological key elements in Shenyang city was constructed. The vertical pattern, horizontal pattern and ecological function of urban ecological system is organically combined, which provides the basic data for the layout and regulation of green space and water system. With these efforts, a key technology system is formed, including the warning of urban ecological security- the space regulation of economic development- the optimization of urban ecological security pattern - the regulation of urban elements’ spatial layout. The research results provide scientific and accurate data base for ecological planning and regulation in Shenyang City, carry out effective ecological security monitoring and management for the development of Shenyang, protect the ecological integrity of the system as well as the healthy development of the economy in Shenyang City during the urbanization process.

        A Study on Effects through the Establishment of Evaluation Indicators of Place-Based Spatial Welfare

        (Background and Purpose) The urbanization due to the development of science and technology and the industrial revolution has brought about various social and environmental problems. Based on the rational thinking that was implemented to solve this problem, urban plans were disregarded by urban residents, causing colonization of the Life World. Accordingly, this study aims to discuss the effect of the evaluation indicators of spatial welfare reflecting the characteristics of the place by establish the concept of spatial welfare and analyzing the urban public space from the human ecological perspective in order to realize space-based welfare services that sufficiently reflect the place characteristics of the residential area by approaching the organic relationship between the urban environment and dwellers from the perspective of an ecological system. (Method) It reviewed the concept of welfare and space through existing literature and previous studies, through which the concept of spatial welfare and welfare facilities were typified. In addition, it suggested a human ecological approach to recover the sense of place in urban space through theoretical review of urban space and place. To this end, evaluation indicators for place-based spatial welfare were established by extracting analysis items for urban spatial structure based on human ecology and analysis items for human behavior. (Results) In the case of spatial structure analysis, a scenario was identified that the research of researchers widely used in the public were synthesized and combined with the human ecological system theory to reinterpret the spatial structure as a layered structure, and a stable urban ecosystem is realized by cross- stacking the structural elements. In the case of human behavior analysis, it has conducted the research to reflect the place characteristics of the region rather than to create generalized public space by deriving evaluation types by cross-applying the sense of place forming elements to the elements extracted by organizing and analyzing previous studies related to public space. Through this, a plan for development of evaluation indicators was presented so that it can be applied when evaluating regions with different characteristics. (Conclusions) Through this study, it expects the following effects. First, it can identify various desires hidden in human behaviors based on place as well as physical and policy issues of public space for spatial welfare. Second, it can prepare a higher-level evaluation indicators by considering not only rational and reasonable values but also emotional elements according to the formation of the sense of place. Lastly, it tries to put value on the realization of user-centered spatial publicity, and to contribute to the quality improvement of public space through strengthening evaluation and monitoring functions by breaking away from the practices of public space projects that focus only on administrative performance.

        생태전시관의 친환경 공간 이미지에 관한 연구

        After The Ramsar Convention took place in Korea in 2008, public interest in environment heightened, and the government has been allocating its budget for conserving our environment. Therefore, the present study focuses on eco-friendly spatial images particularly shown in ecological museums in Korea which recognizes the value of the environment and the ecology and tries to both protect them and alert people about it. The purpose of this study is proving what consist of eco-friendly spatial images by analyzing the expressive word of eco-friendly images and the image of space, providing a basic data for future space planning of ecological museums. To do this, the present study proceeds in three steps. First of all, the base of research in analyzing stage is firmly established by grasping general theories and terms regarding spatial image. As a second step, the composition and the characteristics of exhibition is clarified through on-spot investigation to provide comparative data for spatial image assessment in the future. Also through this step, we could understand how the exhibits are designed currently. In the last stage of research, expressive words regarding eco-friendly spatial images are extracted and used to analyze the spatial image of ecological museums. And the following three conclusions is deduced. First, the expressive words of eco-friendly spatial image that are extracted are as following: “healthy”, “coexisting”, “clean”, “blending”, “warm”, “soft”, “lively”, “pure”, “cool”, “fresh”, “comfortable”, “relaxed”, “mild”, “free”, “harmonious”, and “healing”. As the second conclusion, color, and material, the formation which is an architectural factor did not have a great impact on forming eco-friendly image, but the color and the material did. The third conclusion was that the display with natural aspects actively utilized increased eco-friendly spatial image.

        도시 생태네트워크 설정을 위한 공간의사결정지원체계에 관한 연구;경관생태학 이론을 기반으로

        As a result of the current trend towards promoting conservation of the ecosystem, there have been various studies conducted to determine ways to establish an ecological network. The development of analytical methods and an environmental database of GIS has made the creation of this network more efficient. This study focuses on the development of an urban spatial decision support system based on ‘Landscape Ecology Theory’. The spatial decision support system suggested in this study consists of four stages. First, landscape patch for the core areas, which are major structures of the ecological network, was determined using the GIS overlay method. Second, a forest habitat was investigated to determine connectivity assessment. Using the gravity model, connectivity assessment at the habitat forest was conducted to select the needed connecting area. Third, the most suitable corridor routes for the eco-network were presented using the least-cost path analysis. Finally, a brief investigation was conducted to determine the conflict areas between the study result and landuse. The results of this study can be applied to urban green network planning. Moreover, the method developed in this study can be utilized to control urban sprawl, promote biodiversity. 생태계 회복의 중요성이 부각됨에 따라 생태네트워크 구축을 위한 다양한 연구가 수행되고 있다. 특히 GIS를 이용한 환경정보자료의 구축과 분석기법의 개발은 이를 더욱 효과적으로 수행하게 하였다. 본 연구에서는 경관생태학 이론을 기반으로 도시생태네트워크 구축을 위한 공간의사결정지원체계를 제시하였다. 제시된 공간의사결정지원체계는 다음과 같은 4단계로 구성된다. 첫째, 생태네트워크의 주요 골격을 형성하는 핵심녹지를 중첩기법을 통해 도출한다. 둘째, 서식지 분포자료를 이용하여 서식녹지를 파악하고, 중력모형을 적용한 연결성 평가를 통해 연결녹지의 도입이 필요한 지역을 도출한다. 셋째, 최소비용경로분석을 이용하여 파편화된 녹지를 연결하기 위한 최적의 경로를 도출한다. 마지막으로 도시 생태네트워크 분석결과와 현재 토지이용간의 비교를 통하여 분석결과의 적정성을 검증한다. 본 연구는 도시 내 생태공간을 증진하기 위한 계획적 도구로서 난개발 방지, 종 다양성 증진 등에 기여할 수 있을 것이다.

        고전문학 교육에 대한 생태학적 접근 방법과 실천 방안

        An ecological approach to classical literature education should be based on the concepts of space and place, which if practiced can lead to teaching and learning based on locality. Literary acceptance for students is in contact with the concept of spatiality in literary education. Furthermore, through observation and reflection on literary phenomena, awareness as a contextual existence can be promoted in classical literature education. Thus, an ecological methodology of classical literature education can help to realize literary education. The emphasis on community competence, the continuation of existing ecological literature, decentralization, and postmodernity in the literary education scene could be considered. Classical literature education centered on regionality can constitute a methodology to realize literary education from an ecological perspective. Classical literature education centered on locality is reproduced through memory and culture, and it creates a conversational context through the reproduced landscape as students read the respective works. In this context, the learner acquires a sense of spatial identity as a spatially contextualized existence through works of classical literature. Learners also gain the sense of being a member of the community by reminiscing about cultural subjects who created cultural traces reflected in literary works. By emphasizing the locality of learners, the ecological approach to classical literature education guides the selection of materials and leads to a decentralized understanding of the works. The list of sanctions of the classical literature class is described within the boundaries of the region the learner inhabits. As the understanding of the work is achieved in the context of the learner’s life, the literary act performed by the learner is decentralized. Escaping from a normative interpretation and accepting the contextual acceptance of the work’s interpretation can liberate students from and the need for a unified, uniform understanding of the work. 이 글에서는 고전문학 교육의 생태학적 접근으로 공간과 장소에 기반한 교수․학습 구성을 제안하였으며, 그 실천 방안으로 공동체․대안 역량에 기반한 교수학습 설계와 지역성과 탈중심화를 통한 고전문학 교수․학습 설계를 제시하였다. 이 글에서는 생태학적 관점이 문학 교육의 공간성의 문제와 맞닿아 있다는 점을 바탕으로, 중등 학습자가 자신이 속한 체험적 공간을 관찰함으로써 고전문학 교육에 대한 생태학 접근이 이루어질 수 있음을 밝혔다. 또, 고전문학 교육의 생태학적 방법론으로 공동체 역량의 강조와 기존 생태문학관의 지속, 탈중심화와 탈근대성에 바탕을 둔 문학교육이 현장에서 이루어질 필요가 있다. 고전문학은 학습자들이 작품을 읽으며 재현된 경관을 바탕으로 대화적 맥락 위에서 이루어지며, 작품의 의미는 교수․학습 과정에서 학습자들이 공간에 대한 기억과 공동체의 문화적 흔적을 인식하고 이를 내면화하는 과정을 통해 재생산된다. 이 과정에서 학습자는 고전문학 작품을 매개로 공간적으로 맥락화된 자신의 장소적 정체감을 획득해 나간다. 학습자들은 문학 작품 속에 드러난 공간과 작품에 대한 자신의 의미 형성 과정을 관찰하며, 같은 지역성을 지닌 문화적 주체들을 떠올리면서 공동체 의식을 만들어가기도 한다. 학습자의 체험적 공간인 지역성을 강조하는 고전문학 교육의 생태학적 입장에서는 제재의 선정과 작품이해의 탈중심화가 수반된다. 고전문학 수업을 위한 제재 목록이 학습자가 사는 지역적 경계 안에서 기술되고, 학습자의 삶의 맥락 속에서 작품에 대한 이해가 이루어진다. 이 과정에서 학습자가 수행하는 문학 현상의 탈중심화가 의도될 수 있다. 이를 통해 고전문학 작품의 규범적 해석과 이해에서 탈피하고, 작품 해석의 맥락적 수용이 가능해지면 학습자들은 생태론적 존재로서 자신에 대한 인식과 더불어 자유로운 작품의 해석 주체로 거듭날 수 있을 것이다.

        공간가중 포아송 회귀분석을 활용한 서울시 범죄신고발생의 공간이질성 분석

        범죄발생에 영향을 미치는 사회구조적 영향요인을 규명하기 위해서는 범죄가 발생하는 지역의 지역간 공간적인 영향력을 분석해야 한다. 특히 도심지역은 인구 밀도가 높고 상업지역이나 유흥가가 많으며, 교통이 발달하고, 인구이동이 많기 때문에 지역과 범죄발생이 밀접한 관련성을 보인다. 본 연구는 서울시 자치구(25개)의행정동(424개, 17년 기준)을 공간적 범위로 설정하고, 각 지역 내 범죄들이 주로발생하는 지역 간 공간적 연관성을 반영한 연구모형을 설정하였다. 일반 OLS 모형, 공간오차, 시차 및 공간가중회귀분석을 실시하였으며 이를 바탕으로 인구 및 경제, 사회 그리고 물리적 요인등의 사회구조적 요인들이 범죄발생에 미치는 영향력을 살펴보았다. 분석 결과 공간적 비정상성을 고려한 공간가중회귀 모형의 설명력이 가장높은 것으로 나타났다. 공간상관성이 유의미한 것으로 나타난 변수인 인구이동률, 치안시설은 범죄신고건수에 대해 부적인, 재산세와 가로등개소는 정적인 연관성을보였다. 본 연구의 의의, 한계점, 그리고 후속연구 방향에 대해서 논의하였다. Investigating the influential factors in the social structure that influences the occurrence of crime, it is necessary to analyze the spatial influence between regions in the area where the crime is occurring. In particular, the urban area has a high population density, many commercial areas and entertainment districts, well-developed transportation, and a large amount of migration, so the occurrence of areas and crimes is closely related. In this study, total 424 administrative district in Seoul are set as spatial areas, and the research model was established that reflects the spatial relationship between regions where crimes in each region mainly occur. The author performed OLS model, and spatial regression model and based on this the influence of social structural factors such as demographic, economic, social, and physical factors on crime was investigated. As a result, it was found that the explanatory power of the spatially weighted regression model considering the spatial nonstationarity is the highest. The variables that showed significant spatial correlation, such as population mobility and police facilities showed a negative correlation with the number of crime reports, while property tax and street light showed a positive correlation. The limitations of this study, policy implications, and research directions are discussed.
