Continuous Emotion Recognition on the Edge

Traditional Edge AI implementation methods requires high cost computing machines / device. Aside from these high cost devices, most implementation often requires complex AI models. In this study, a real-time implementation for Edge AI devices is implemented to address the implementation cost and complexity constraints. The Arduino Nano 33 BLE sense is used as an Edge AI Device for this implementation. An open source machine learning platform is used to develop an embedded machine learning implementation which addresses the high implementation and computational complexity of edge AI implementation.
AWS Data Visualization using DynamoDB and Lambda

AWS IoT has been one of the extremely powerful AWS service offers. AWS IoT has the ability to process more than billions and trillions of devices and messages respectively and can process and routes to endpoints (i.e. AWS DynamoDB, Aws Lambda). In this paper, we proposed a method for temperature data sensing using DHT22 sensor connected to Raspberry Pi 4B that interacts to AWS IoT which will allow us to connect to AWS DynamoDB for storing, AWS Lambda for serverless trigger in AWS services, AWS Quicksight for visualization and AWS Machine Learning for further data processing.
Implementation of Emotion Recognition Using Edge-Cloud Computing

Emotion recognition systems has been in demand due to its aid in several applications such as health monitoring, workload and drowsiness detection. For these applications, emotion recognition systems require to be deployed on an edge device. For deployment on an edge device, numerous limitations and bottlenecks such as implementation cost, deployment capabilities, and system efficiency affects the performance of the emotion recognition system. That is, emotion recognition on the edge suffers from either low accuracy or high inference time due to the hardware constraints. Hence, several previous studies focus on the deployment of emotion recognition on the edge. Despite that, low accuracy and high inference time still remains an issue. To resolve this, a platform with higher computation capacity must be employed. In this study, we implement an enhanced emotion recognition system by integrating cloud computing platform to the emotion recognition system process, whereby all emotion recognition tasks are performed on the cloud server, can overcome conventional edge device bottlenecks and provide cost-effectiveness, efficient power consumption, and enhanced computing process. Based on the results shown in this study, the proposed system is successful in predicting the emotion of the users in real-time.

칸디다성 질염에 대한 Tioconazole 질연고 1회요법의 치료효과

1986년 10월부터 1987년 5월까지 중앙대학교 부속병원 산부인과외래를 방문하여 질분비물, 외음부 및 질소양감, 그리고 작열감을 주소로 하며, 질분비물의 직접경검 및 배양검사에서 칸디다가 증명된 30예를 대상으로 Tioconazole 질연고 1회 요법을 시행하여 다음과 같은 결 론은 얻었다. 1. 환자의 연령분포는 20대 및 30대가 83%로 가장 많았고, 분만회수는 1-2회가 60%를 차지 하였으며, 규칙적으로 생리하는 여성이 87%이었고, 폐경기의 여성은 13%였다. 2. 칸디다성 질염의 원인규주는 candida albicans(91%), 그외에 torulopsis glabrate, candida stellatoidea, candida humicola 가 각각 1예씩 존재하엿다. 3. 치료후 자각증상의 소멸은 질분비물 82% 외음부 및 질 소양감 86%, 그리고 작열감 100%여으며 질경소견의 호전은 질분비물 73% 자궁경부미란 73%, 외음부 및 질 홍반 86% 그리고 외음부 및 질표피박리 50%이었다 4. 치료판정은 excellent response 63%, good response 24%, fair response13%였으며, no response, worse의 예는 없었다. 치료율은 87%였으며 재발율은 8%였다 5. 약제사용에 따른 부작용은 없었다. Tioconazole is one the newly developed imidazole compounds and this regimen with growth phase independent fungicidal activity is more effective to vaginal candidiasis than other imiadzoloe derivatives. This clinical study was desinged to determine the efficacy and acceptability of Tioconazole vaginal ointment as a single dose therapy 30 patients with symptomatic vaginal candiidiasis from October 1986 to May 1987 at Department of Obsterics and Gyunecology, College of Medicine, Chung-Ang University Hospital. the results obtained were as follows; 1. The majority of patients were between 20 and 30 in age (83%) the great number of patients had one or two children (69%) and 26 cases(87%) of patients were menstrual, 4 cases (13%) were postmenopausal. 2. The most offending organism was candida albicans(91%) 3. Vaginal discharge was the most frequency symptom and sign, which comprised 73% and 87% respectively. 4. Symptoms of vaginal discharge, pruritus and burning / irritation were eliminated in 82%, 86%, and 100% of patients with respectively symptom. Elimination of such signs as dischargh cervical erosion, vulvar and vaginal erythema, and vulvar and vaginal excoriation were noted in 73%, 73%, 86% and 50% respectively, after therapy of this regimen. 5. The cure rate defined as negateive culture, improved clinical symptoms and signs after treatment was 87% and the recurrent rate was 8%. 6. There were negligible side effecs in subjective symptoms and laboratory findings. This clinical results show that a single does therapy of Tioconazole vaginal ointment is highly effective regimen with few side effects and recurrences for vaginal candidiasis.
