        거점공간조직에 따른 중심지 개발 패턴에 관한 연구

        This study is to analyze 'anchor system' strategies in CBD. We selected five cases of new town development with 'anchor's and urban axises in 19808, two Korean new towns(Bundang and Ilsan) and three Japanese towns(Tokyo Waterfront City, Minatomirai21 and Makuhari New City) Though all the cases utilized anchors and urban axises In a CBD, they have shown different patterns of anchor distribution In new towns such as Bundang, Ilsan and Tokyo Waterfront City, those anchors are decentralized, while In the other cases, Minatomirai21 and Makuhari New City, anchors are centralized In the CBD Those anchors such as convention center, exhibition hall and business sectors are mostly determined by public corporations and developed as development-leading facilities In Korean cases, those facilities sometimes failed to follow original Intention of master plan or located apart from urban axises On the other hand, Japanese anchors, centered on urban axises, show more systematic patterns of CBD development than those In Korea.

        신도시 중심지계획에 나타난 거점공간조직에 관한 연구

        With an introduction of a new terminology, 'anchor system', this study aims to find out how anchor system of CED is applied to new town planning 10 Korea. Based on theoretical researches, we defined 'anchor' as 'facilities or districts which are concentrated In CBD with key functions to boost the development of Its neighborhood And 'anchor system' IS a urban fabric organized With anchors 10 CBD In case study, SIX different cases of new town planning In Korea Since the late 1980s were analyzed, urban spatial configurations of anchor system were studied together with Its functions, establisher, establishing dates, etc The result of the study showed that department stores, broadcasting stations, convention centers, and public offices were utilized as anchors including subway stations and open spaces Depending on situations of neighborhood areas of new towns and financial status of their establishers, anchors were applied at different times, sometimes at early stages, sometimes at final stages But It must be point out that most anchors Which established at early stages were developed by public sector Compared to early cases which have weak network of anchors and no plan for serial development of anchors, recent cases show more tight network of anchors and integrated anchors

        We investigated grain boundary effect for terrestrial applications of solar cells with low cost, large area, and high efficiency. Grain boundaries are known as potential barriers and recombination centers for the photo generated charge carriers, which make it difficult to achieve a high efficiency cell. To reduce these effects of grain boundarues, we investigated various influencing factors such as thermal treatments various grid patterns selective wet etchings for grain boundarues, buried contact metallizations along grain boundaries, and use of metallic thin films. From the various grid patterns we learned that the series resistance of solar cell reduced open circuit voltage and consequently decreased the cell efficiency. This paper describes the effect of various grid patterns and the employment of metallic thin films for a top electrode.

      • Spinal Epidural Cavernous Hemangioma: Fluctuating Symptom

        Although spinal epidural cavernous hemangioma (CH) is rare, identified cases have been increasing in number. We report a case of spinal epidural CH with a fluctuating symptom and discuss its diagnostic evaluation and treatment. A 24-year-old woman had left shoulder pain and mild sensorimotor impairment of the T6 dermatome 5 months before. On examination for pathological reflex, the deep tendon reflex was found to be somewhat elevated. No abnormalities were observed in a simple radiological evaluation. The results of the electrophysiological evaluations were normal. The patient’s symptoms improved after medication and physical therapy. After 3 months, she developed a sudden-onset paraparesis (2/5) and sensory change below her nipple. Magnetic resonance imaging revealed a well-defined extradural mass at the thoracic level. An emergency surgical resection was performed. After the surgery, immediate recovery of the sensorimotor response in the lower extremity was attained. The pathological finding was CH. Fluctuating sensorimotor symptoms should be carefully evaluated immediately because their etiology is involved in the hemodynamic changes in CH

      • 品種間 β-Amylase의 理化學的 特性에 關한 硏究

        밀 β-amylase는 抽出液에 황산암모늄(70%)로 沈澱시켜 DADE-Cellulose, sephadex G-100 및 DEAE-sephadex A-50 chromatography로 精製한 바 두 分劃 A와 C를 얻을 수 있었다. 고구마 β-amylase는 acetone 濃度를 50%에서 沈澱시켜 다시 47%, 43%, 40%로 調節하면서 結晶化시켜 DEAE-sephadex A-25 chromatography로 單一 物質을 얻을 수 있었다. 밀 β-amylase와 고구마 β-amylase의 分子量은 β-amylase A 및 C 모두 54,000이며 고구마의 monomer의 分子量 57,000과 類似한 分子量임을 알 수 있었고, 다른 β-amylase인 콩 β-amylase의 分子量 57,000, 보리 56,000, 쌀 53,000, B. cereus 58,000과 거의 비슷한 分子量 5만 前後의 것임을 알 수 있었다. β-amylase의 아미노酸 組成의 특색으로는 모든 품종 공히 Asp., Glu.와 같은 酸性 아미노酸을 제일 많이 含有하고 있다는 것과 Thr., Ser., Ile. 및 Phe.의 中性 아미노酸이 콩, 밀, 고구마 β-amylase 중에 아미노酸 殘基數가 거의 비슷한 量이 들어 있음을 알 수 있었다. 고구마 β-amylase의 아미노酸 殘基數는 총 496殘基로, 이 結果 算出된 分子量은 55,707 임을 알 수 있었고 N-末端 아미노酸이 Ala.이고 C-末端 아미노酸이 Asp.임을 알 수 있었다. DOTMATRIX法에 의한 아미노酸 配列順序를 比較해 본 結果, 고구마 β-amylase와 콩 β-amylase의 아니노酸 配列順序가 가장 相同性이 높다. ALNED program에 의한 比較에 의하면 공시試料 6種類의 β-amylase를 통하여 적어도 6군데에 保存된 領域이 있음을 알 수 있었다. 品種間 β-amylase의 아미노酸 配列順序에서 아미노酸의 種類와 位置가 同一한 곳을 調査하여 보았더니, 고구마와 콩 β-amylase 중 63%에 해당한 312殘基가 같고 고구마와 보리의 β-amylase간의 相同性이 58%, 콩과 보리와의 相同性은 63.8%이다. 細菌 由來 β-amylase間에는 그 相同性이 80%인데 비해, 細菌由來 β-amylase와 다른 植物과의 相同性은 28%정도 밖에 안 된다. The major fraction of wheat β-amylase A and C were purified by using the method of ammonium sulfate fractionation(70%), ion-exchange chromatography with DEAE-cellulose, gel filtration with sephadex G-100 and chromatography with DEAE-sephadex A-50. The crude β-amylase extracted of sweet potato was purified by means of acetone fractionation(50-40%), crystallization and chromatography with DAEA-sephadex A-25. The molecular weight of the fraction A and C of wheat β-amylase was 54,000, and sweet potato β-amylase for monomer was 57,000, similary. On the other hand, molecular weight of soybean, barley, rice and Bac. cereus were 57,000, 56,000, 53,000 and 58,000, respectively. The amino acid profile of wheat, soybean and sweet potato β-amylase showed mostly acidic amino acid residues such as Asp. and Glu. The amino acid residues of soybean, sweet potato and wheat β-amylase showed same amount of neutral amino acids such as Thr. Ser. Ile. and Phe.. The amino acid residues of sweet potato β-amylase were 496 per mole of monomer and the molecular weight was calculated to be 55,707. The N-terminal and C-terminal amino acids of sweet potato were Ala. and Asp. respectively. In comparison of soybean and sweet potato β-amylase, the amino acid sequence of them determined by DOTMATRIX method showed similarity. The similarity of the β-amylase was proved by having 6 similar distribution of conserved regions with comparison of ALEND program. In evaluating the similarity between sweet potato and soybean β-amylase was the same sequence of 312 residues(63%), sweet potato and barley β-amylase 63% and bacterial and plant β-amylase 28% while that of bacterial β-amylases 80%.

        Studies were conducted on the preparation methods of strawberry jam. Strawberry was homogenized and centrifuged to serum-pulp portion. Concentration of strawberry serum was carried out at 55∼58℃ under pressure of 30∼60 mmHg. Strawberry jam bases were mixed throughly and stuffed in retortable pouch. The pouch was sterilized to make a new strawberry jam. The characteristics of new type jam was analyized gas chromatographic profile, and sensory evaluations.

        Selective 3,4-Dihydroxyphenylalanine Analysis in Human Urine as Ethoxycarbonyltert-butyldimethylsilyl Derivatives by Gas Chromatography-Mass Spectrometry

        A new analytical method for measurement of 3,4-dihydroxyphenylalanine (DOPA) in human urine was developed. DOPA from an aqueous solution was converted into an ethoxycarbonyl (EOC) derivative. A tertbutyldimethylsilyl (TBDMS) reaction under anhydrous conditions was then attempted for analysis by gas chromatography-mass spectrometry in selected ion monitoring mode. A new mass spectral data on DOPA as a tri-EOC/mono-TBDMS derivative was built. This method showed good linearity (r ${\geq}$ 0.999), precision (% relative standard deviation = 3.1-9.2), and accuracy (% relative error = -7.2-8.8), with a detection limit of 0.05 ng/mL. This selective and accurate method of DOPA analysis will be useful for biochemical monitoring of various neurological disorders including Parkinson's disease in biological fluids.

        Altered Amino Acid Metabolic Patterns in the Plasma of Rat Models with Adenovirus Infection

        The presence of replication-competent adenovirus (RCA) subpopulations in adenoviral vector products raises a variety of safety issues for development of therapies based on gene therapy. To analyze the differing effects of adenoviral vector and RCA in vivo, we examined alterations in amino acids (AAs) using rat plasma following injection of ${\beta}$-galactosidase expressing recombinant adenovirus (designated rAdLacZ) or RCA. Plasma AAs were examined by gas chromatography-mass spectrometry. A total of 16 AAs were positively measured. In the rAdLacZ group compared to the control group, the level of aspartic acid was significantly increased (Student's t-test), while the level of glutamic acid was significantly reduced. Additionally, in the RCA group compared to the control group, the level of four AAs, valine, leucine, and isoleucine as branched-chain amino acids, and proline were significantly increased, whereas the levels of three AAs, glycine, threonine, and glutamic acid were significantly reduced. Altered plasma free AA metabolic patterns in rAdLacZ and RCA groups, compared with the control group, may explain the disturbance of AA metabolism related to viral infection.
