Recently, super high-rise apartments having more than 30 floors have been constructing 10 town. This study investigated residents' preferences and satisfactions focusing on architectural design factors of super high-rise apartment Statistical methods, anova, correspondence analysis and Pearson correspondence analysis were used to find the factors that affect the preference As a result, the following findings were obtained 1) Generally, the residents are satisfied with the living environment of high-rise apartment housing 2) The result shows that the residents prefer in order of "transportation and location", "maintenance", "environmentally friendly plan", "automated equipment", "new concept design", and "economics" 3) Satisfaction level for "daylighting" and "View" is highly influenced by the floor level 4) The "circulation" affects more on the preference of site planning than any other elements 5) The "prevention of noise" affects more on the preference of interior planning than any other elements 6) The "Air-conditioning" affects more on the preference of interior environmental planning than any other elements

Esthetic has become an indispensable factors to consider when choosing a orthodontic fixed appliances. However, most of the brackets used on orthodontics are made of metallic materials because those esthetic alternatives showed several controversies like brittleness, deformation and discoloration. The AISI austenitic classes, 303, 304, 316 and 317 type of stainless steels are frequently used for orthodontic metallic brackets fabrication. The composition of this type of alloy is 18 wt% of chrome, 8 wt% of nickel, 2 to 3 wt% of molybdenum and low carbon contents. They seemed to show relatively good characteristics to fabricate the orthodontic brackets in previous study. But in hostile condition such as low pH containing chlorine ion like saliva they might to be attacked by localized corrosion. The purposes of this study were to evaluate the microstructure, microhardness, corrosion resistance, frictional resistance and cytotoxocity of 316L(MD), AISI 304(AC) and experimentally produced super stainless stell bracket(SS). The results from this study were as follows; 1. MD and AC showed (Cr, Fe)23C6 precipitating in austenite matrix. SS showed small ferrite island forming in matrix. 2. SS showed the highest polarization resistance(Rp). SS seemed to have the highest corrosion resistance since SS showed 0.9 ×10-3 MPY, MD showed 3.7 ×10-3 MPY and AC showed 7.4×10-3 MPY. 3. The friction resistance decreased from 3 days to 4 weeks for SS(p<0.05). MD showed significant differences for the measurement of 3 days, 2 weeks and 4 weeks. AD did not showed significant differences to 3 days but increased at 2 weeks(p<0.05). 4. SS seemed to have the best biocompatibility since SS showed response index of 0/1 (mild), AC showed 1/2 (mild+) at cytotoxicity test. According to these results, SS seemed to have sufficient characteristics to fabricate the orthodontic brackets and superior corrosion resistance compare to AISI 300 type stainless steel which could lower the chance of nickel allergic reaction.
Cu(Mg) 박막의 Time Dependent Dielectric Breakdown 특성 평가

Electrical properties and time dependent dielectric breakdown (TDDB) characteristics of Cu (0.7 at.% Mg) alloy films are investigated to improve the reliability of Cu interconnects used in microelectronic devices. After Cu(Mg) films are annealed in vacuum at 400℃ for 30 min, resistivity decreases from 3.4 to 2.0 μΩcm and, thin and continuous MgO layers form both on Cu(Mg) film surface and on Cu(Mg)/SiO₂ interface. Metal-Oxide-Silicon (MOS) capacitors composed of Cu(Mg) film deposited on thermal oxide grown on Si wafer are subjected to bias temperature stressing at 180 through 220℃ under electric fields of 1.5 through 2.6 MV/cm. Median time to failure (MTTF) and activation energy of Cu(Mg)/SiO₂ are much larger than those of pure Cu/SiO₂. Cu drifts into dielectric are inhibited by the continuous Mg oxide formed at Cu(Mg)/SiO₂ interface which improve interfacial adhesion and finally lead to better interconnect reliabilities. Automated Storage/Retrieval Systems(AS/RS) are modeled and analysed by the M/G/1 queue with vacation. The model contains two queues(one for storage, one for retrieval), a common server(S/R machine) and a storage unit. Though the probabilities are usually very small, in two extreme cases(storage racks are completely empty and completely full) the two queues govern each other's behavior, and thus it denies the independency among the queues, a necessary condition required in the M/G/1 queue with vacation. Therefore the results obtained are only approximations. Single command and dual command schemes are employed as the AS/RS operation policy and analyses are performed for both the cases.

Male Sprague-Dawley rats were orally treated with low and high-doses (50mg and 100mg/Kg of body weight) of either fermented-citrus extract or citrus extract dissolved in 20% ethanol during 6 weeks. The body weight, the level of plasma total choresterol were slightly reduced in higher dose(100 mg/Kg of body weight) of fermented-citrus extract comparing with other groups. but was not significantly different. The fat liver formation induced by high-fat diet were significantly reduced in rats administrated with fermented citrus-extract. This result suggest that fermented-citrus extract have hepatoprotective activity against high-fat diet induced fatty liver.

Hypoparathyroidism is usually the result of an inadvertent surgical removal of all the parathyroid glands, In some instances, not all the tissues are removed, but the remainder undergoes vascular supply compromise secondary to the fibrotic changes in the neck after surgery, Previously, the surgery for hyperthyroidism was the most frequent cause of acquired hypoparathyroidism. Idiopathic hypoparathyroidism is a relatively rare disease that is characterized by hypocalcemia and hyperphosphatemia due to a parathyroid hormone deficiency of an unknown cause, It usually develops at a young age, and shows various clinical symptoms and signs accompanied with hypocalcemia. In addition, it is rarely associated with polyglandular autoimmune syndrome during the follow-up. Hypocalcemia and idiopathic hypoparathyroidism associated with labor and lactation are rarely reported condition previously. We here describe a case of a woman in whom the symptomatic severe hypocalcemia appeared after her delivery. We reviewed all the previously reported cases and suggest a possible physiological explanation for the association between pregnancy, lactation, and the appearance of symptomatic hypocalcemia.
