We developed and characterized five polymorphic microsatellites of Nilaparvata lugens from hybridization method using biotin enrichment strategy and two polymorphic microsatellites from Next Generation Sequencing. Also 11 microsatellites that developed by Sun et al. (2011) are employed to carry out genetic analysis of N. lugens in Southeast Asia. The number of alleles per locus ranged from 2 to 12 with an average of 4.63 alleles per locus. The mean observed heterozygosity of the eleven populations ranged from 0.031 to 0.938 and the expected hetetrozygosity ranged from 0.031 to 0.881. Signifiant genetic differentiation was detected among the three N. lugens populations as the FST ranged from 0.028 (Cheong Do and Ha Long) to 0.161 (CH and BN). The results of microsatellite marker suggested that found N. lugens migrated to Korea at least two times in different period or once. Genetic distance of N. lugens between Korea and Hi Pong were mostly closed and genetic distance of Ha Long and HCM were relatively closed. In this study, development of microsatellites should facilitate the study of future population genetics of N. lugens, and eventually elucidate the route of N. lugens migration to Korea. Thus, combining satisfactory microsatellite markers and intensive surveillance methods in paddy field could be easy to understand to the N. lugens migration mechanism.

Objective The aims of our study were to identify distinct trajectories of cognitive function using the group-based trajectory model. We also investigate which demographic factors act as risk factors for cognitive decline in each group.Methods The data from the Seoul National University Hospital Healthcare System Gangnam Center, from 2005 to 2019. The number of study subjects was 637. We used a group-based model to identify cognitive function trajectories. Multinomial logistic regression was employed to define risk factors for cognitive function decline.Results The cognitive function trajectories among adults over 40 years of age were heterogeneous. We identified four trajectories: high (27.3%), medium (41.0%), low (22.7%), and rapid decline (9.1%). Older age, male, low educational level, bad dietary habits, diabetes mellitus, technical worker, and lower income increased the likelihood of a cognitive function decline.Conclusion A younger age, a higher educational level, professional worker, good dietary habits, no diabetes mellitus, and no obesity improved cognitive function. A combination of these factors can improve “cognitive reserve” and delay cognitive decline. Interventions to prevent cognitive decline are needed after identification of high-risk groups for cognitive decline.
Effects of Phenylephrine on the Excitability of Medial Vestibular Nuclear Neurons in Rats

Coeruleo-vestibular pathway which connects locus coeruleus and vestibular nuclei is noradrenergic. This study was designed to elucidate the effects of phenylephrine on the spontaneous activity of acutely isolated medial vestibular nuclear neurons of rat by whole-cell patch-clamp technique. Sprague-Dawley rats, aged 14 to 16 days, were used. After enzymatic digestion, dissociated medial vestibular neurons were transferred to a recording chamber mounted on an inverted microscope, and spontaneous action potentials were recorded by standard patch-clamp techniques. In current-clamp mode, the frequency of spontaneous action potential of medial vestibular nuclear neurons was decreased by phenylephrine (n=15). Phenylephrine increased the amplitude of afterhyperpolarization without changes in the resting membrane potential and spike width. In voltage-clamp mode, the whole potassium currents of the medial vestibular nuclear neurons were increased by phenylephrine (n=12). These experimental results suggest that α-receptor mediates the inhibitory effects on the neuronal activity of the medial vestibular nuclear neuron.
음악감상수업 참여 대학생의 대인관계 및 사회활동 적응에 관한 연구

본 연구는 음악감상활동 기반 수업에 참여하는 대학생의 음악흥미, 수업만족도, 사회적지지 스트레스대처 전략이 대인관계 및 사회활동 적응에 나타내는 영향을 파악하고자 한 것이다. 연구대상은 국내 C 지역 C대학교 남녀대학생 총 55명이며, SPSS program을 사용하여 상관분석, ANOVA, 다중회귀분석을실시하였다. 분석결과, 대학생들의 음악감상활동 시간이 많을수록, 사회적지지 스트레스 대처 전략이 높을수록 대인관계 적응에 유의미한 정적 영향력이 확인되었으며, 음악흥미 하위요인 중 음악관심이 사회활동 적응에 유의미한 정적 영향력을 나타냈다. 연구결과를 통해 대학 기관 및 교수자의 학습자 맞춤형지원과 함께 섬세한 배려와 협력적 지지가 요구되며, 대학생들의 음악감상 기반 활동과 다양하고 융복합적인 음악교육 수행으로 대인관계 및 사회활동 적응에의 효과와 가치를 검증하는 지속적 논의와 실증적 연구를 제안한다. This study aimed to identify the effects of music interest, class satisfaction, and social support stress coping strategies on interpersonal and social adjustment of university students participating in a music appreciation activity-based class. A total of 55 male and female undergraduate students at C University in Region C in Korea were studied, and correlation analysis, ANOVA, and multiple regression analysis were conducted using SPSS program. The results of the analysis, the more time university students spent listening to music and the higher their social supportive stress coping strategies, the more significant their interpersonal adjustment was. In addition, among the music interest sub factors, attention in music had a significant positive effect on social adjustment. The results of this study call for learner-customized support, sensitive consideration, and cooperative support by university institutions and instructors. Based on the findings of this study, we suggest continued discussion and empirical research to verify the effectiveness and value of interpersonal and social adjustment through music appreciation-based activities and performing diverse and convergent music education practices among university students.
