Microstructure of Mg-1 ~ 6wt%Zn, Mg-1.5wt%Mn and Mg-2wt%Zn-1.5wt%Mn alloys have been investigated by means of hardness test, optical microscopy, scanning electron microscopy and energy dispersive spectroscopy. The Mg alloy castings have been casted into the metallic mold with room temperature, and cooling part of metallic mold have located in it's lower part. The microstructure of Mg-Zn cast alloys revealed MgZn compound around the secondary dendrite arms. Analysis by scanning electron microscopy/energy dispersive spectroscopy showed that the composition of MgZn compound was Mg-77wt%Zn, which corresponds with the value of Mg-74.5wt%Zn given by Clack and Rhines. The addition of Mn in Mg-Zn alloys refined the grain size in as-casted alloys. Manganese additions also increased the vickers hardness.

기존의 웹 지도 서비스는 방문 횟수가 많은 장소를 알기 어렵고,사용자에게 여행 경로를 추천하는 기능 또한 찾기 어려웠다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 사진 촬영 분포를 기반으로 한 여행 경로 추천 시스템을 제안한다. 사진이 많이 촬영된 곳이 여행객이 많이 방문한 곳이며,유명한 장소일 것이라고 가정하여 사진 촬영 분포를 기반으로 여행 경로를 추천하고자 한다. 여행 경로를 추천하기 위해 사진 데이터의 위치 값을 수집하고,사진 데이터의 위치 값을 기반으로 사진 촬영 분포를 시각화하여 지도 위에 나타낸다. 또한,여행 지역 내 사진이 많이 촬영된 장소를 유명한 장소로 선정하여 이를 경유하는 여행 경로를 추천한다. 사용자는 시스템을 통해 유명한 장소를 쉽게 인식할 수 있고,편리하게 여행 경로를 계획할 수 있다.

Parathyroid carcinoma is rare, occurring in less than 2-3% of the patients with primary hyperparathyroidism. In the patients with chronic renal failure, the incidence is extremely low. Only 13 cases of parathyroid carcinoma with chronic renal failure have been described in the world literature. We report a case of parathyroid carcinoma in a 43-year-old man who has been suffered from chronic renal failure for 19 years. To our knowledge, this is the first case of parathyroid carcinoma occurring in the thyroid gland associated with secondary hyperparathyroidism.

N/A The microstructure and tensile properties of Mg-Zn-Ca and Mg-Zn-Mn-Ca alloys have been investigated. The alloys were obtained by melting in a low carbon crucible coated with boron nitride under an Ar gas atmosphere to prevent oxidation and combustion. The Mg alloy melt was cast into the metallic mold at room temperature, and cooling part was located at the bottom of mold. The phase formed during solidification of the Mg-Zn-(Mn) alloys containing 0.5%Ca is Ca₂Mg_6Zn₃,. The yield strength and ultimate tensile strength of the alloys increased with increasing Zn content, but the ductility did not change with increasing Zn content. The addition of Mn improves the yield strength and ultimate tensile strength of the alloys, but the ductility did not change. Tensile fracture of the alloys revealed brittle failure, with cracking along the Ca₂Mg_6Zn₃, phase. The variation of stress with strain obeyed the relationship of the σ=Kε. (Received October 21, 1997)
