In general, the purpose of packaging fasteners is a series of management activities to maintain the condition at the time of production until they get delivered to the end user. An automatic packing system for fasteners is consisted of bucket conveyor, slide feeder, vision inspection system, box-magazine conveyor system and automatic packing machine. Also, the automatic packing machine is consisted of six modules including charging device, clamping/opening device, sealing/cutting device, feeding/air-shower device, supplying/adjusting device and device frame, etc. In this paper, we proposed an automatic packing mechanism of the one station concept for packing work of fastener objects where the continuous batch work is performed in a finite space. The proposed one-station packing mechanism has been optimized through mechanical, dynamical, structural and fluid analyses. And it had been manufactured as the prototype of automatic packing machine. The field test for validation of performance was performed directly at the production line of bolt and screw. In the field test, this packing machine showed an efficiency of about 4.5 times the manual operation. It also showed 30% reduction in the consumption of packing materials compared to the manual operation. This automatic packing machine for fastener objects will be commercialized soon.

In this paper, it has been proposed an automatic vegetable bundling mechanism that makes use of heat melt sticking. The proposed mechanism is consisted of three modules for the rationality of manufacture. Design specification has been determined by the bundling mechanism that was optimized mechanically. And, it has been manufactured the prototype of the automatic bundling machine. It has been carried out directly the field test for verification of performance in farmhouse which produces vegetable. In field test, this bundling machine showed efficiency of about 3.6 times than the manual working by manpower, and other performance it got satisfied result. This automatic vegetable-bundling machine was already registered as the agricultural machine. and This machine will be commercialized soon.

Using the SMO(SimDesigner Motion) module, we optimize condition of mechanical movement of the bundling mechanism. We manufactured the prototype of the automatic bundling machine. Also we carried out directly the field test for verification of performance in farmhouse which produces vegetable, and we got satisfied result. This machine will be commercialized and announced soon.

An Allium-odorum is difficult material to handling, because it is soft and weak as mechanical. For bundling work of allium-odorum, we must grip in the bundle shape of unit weight, however, it is difficult that grip allium-odorum by hand because the bundle bulk is very big. Especially, in packing work, the bundle shape of allium-odorum package than other vegetables is very important, because difference of a price becomes much according to the bundle shape. In this paper, we propose bundling mechanism for a quadrangle shape in bundle shape, and semi-automatic bundling mechanism that makes use of a eccentric roller and a triangularity link. We carry out mechanical modeling and analysing respectively using the CATIA V5 and SimDesigner. We manufactured the prototype of the semi-automatic bundling machine, and got satisfied result through field test. And this machine will be commercialized and announced soon.

In this paper, the performance of wet type filter for diesel engine combustion air has been studied with effects of air temperature, humidity, and pressure. After experiments are performed without diesel engine, it has been investigated the applicability to diesel engine. Wet type filter for diesel engine combustion air had advantages that it is not necessary to change air filter and that engine exhaust gas is environmentally friendly due to low NOx and particulate emission. Also, the filtration performance has been carried out with smoke shell.

In this paper, we proposed vertical feeding mechanism for a slide parts feeder using the slide type method. This parts feeder of the slide type method have been proposed to suppress the dust generation from the feeding objects. The proposed parts feeder mechanism is composed with the casing hopper, the vertical feeding unit, the in-line feeder and linear shooter unit. And, these mechanisms did modularity through optimum design by means of mechanical and dynamical analysis using the RecurDyn(multi-body dynamics) analysis module. Also were carried out the virtual prototype using the 3-D CAD program. And it had been manufactured as the prototype of the slide parts feeder. The field test for validation of performance was performed directly at the inspection line of bolt and screw. In the field test, this slide parts feeder showed an efficiency of about 1.2 times the bowl feeder. It also showed an epoch reduction in the dust generation compared to the vibration bowl feeder. So this slide parts feeder will be applied useful in the vision inspection system for a screw and bolt.
