Background and Objectives: The aim of the study was to identify the factors associated with life satisfaction of hospitalized Vietnam veterans. Material and Methods: The data were collected from 200 hospitalized Vietnam veterans of 5 veterans hospitals in Korea from September 13 to 23, 2004. Information of general characteristics, health behavior, disease history, family function, depression and life satisfaction were collected by structured questionnaire. Results: The mean of life satisfaction was 21.48(±6.03), and the mean of depression was 53.10(±9.64). The prevalence of depression was mild depression 24.0%, moderate depression 43.5% and severe depression 25.0%. Depression was associated with life satisfaction and depression was higher, life satisfaction was lower. Family function and age were positively associated with life satisfaction, Conclusion: Life satisfaction was affected by depression and family function in hospitalized Vietnam veterans. Therefore, it was thought that psychosocial approaches such as improve depression and family function in care of hospitalized Vietnam veterans is required.

Recently, network management technology by delegation has been studied as a kind of network management technology to satisfy the user's requirements. Mobile Agent in the technology issues in the distributed network system. Mobile Agent is a software program which is able to move on network with mission for managing a NE(Network Element). Therefore. We have studied the efficient network management technology which is the network management system based upon Mobile Agent Using JNDI(Java Naming Directory Interface). JNDI is API(App1ication Program Interface) to support interface which make user's application program to be used the naming & directory service. We have designed and implemented the mobile agent network management system using JNDI. This Mobile Agent system is expected to provide a solution for the conventional centralized network system.

The Object web translates the existing CORBA IDL into the Java language and uses IIOP for interaction between a client and a server under the exiting Web environment. The client and the server through the Object Web. do not use HTTP, a web protocol, but IIOP that is an inter-object communication protocol provided by the CORBA. This paper proposes an architecture which consists of a gateway, a CORBA manager and an OSI agent. The CORBA manager is based on Object Web and can manage MOs in the OSI domain. The gateway has a role to translate CORBA IDLS into CMIS service and vice versa. Hence, an OSI agent can be abstracted into a CORBA agent. In this architecture, any client with the Web browser can manage OSI MOs in distributed environment. The client can invoke the management operations through CORBA server after it download the Java applet from HTTP server.

This paper presents a cost-effective integrated 3D system that extracts the 3-dimensional foot data? to design the custom footwear. To measure the 3-dimensional data of the foot, a CCD camera and a Non-Gaussian laser line projector and optical triangulation method are employed. Furthermore, the integrated system employs a measurement base, a frame grabber, a CCD moving cart, a stepping motor and computer. The measurement result is saved as a 3D dxf foot data and a 2D eccensial data for a last design. The experimental results demonstrates that proposed? system have the descent resolution with 1mm which is enough for last and shoe design.

<P><B>Abstract</B></P> <P>In this work, copper indium gallium selenide (Cu(In,Ga)Se2; CIGS) absorbers were grown on polyimide (PI)/molybdenum substrates by a three-stage co-evaporation process at various temperatures, film formation was systemically studied using various advanced characterization methods such as transmission electron microscopy, micro-Raman spectroscopy, Kelvin probe force microscopy, and atom probe tomography. The CIGS films on PI were found to exhibit considerable physical and electrical variations with respect to the process temperature of three-stage co-evaporation. In particular, when the process temperature reached 400 °C, the CIGS absorber on PI began to exhibit controlled microstructure and intergrain properties. By adjusting the microstructure and intergrain properties of the absorber films by means of the process temperature of three-stage co-evaporation, flexible CIGS solar cells on PI with an efficiency of 16.7% (with anti-refection coating) were achieved.</P> <P><B>Highlights</B></P> <P> <UL> <LI> CIGS absorber films were grown on flexible polyimide/molybdenum substrates. </LI> <LI> Low-temperature three-stage process (≤440 °C) with extrinsic Na addition was used to CIGS growth. </LI> <LI> CIGS film evolution was systemically observed using advanced material characterization techniques. </LI> <LI> Highly efficient CIGS cells on flexible polyimide substrates were realized while maintaining process manufacturability. </LI> </UL> </P> <P><B>Graphical abstract</B></P> <P>[DISPLAY OMISSION]</P>
A Study on Shape and Height of Shipwaves
Gang, Song-Jin,Kim, Mi-Kum,Kim, Chang-Je Korean Institute of Navigation and Port Research 2009 한국항해항만학회지 Vol.33 No.2
Shipwaves am have harmful effects on ships working on the sea, in a harbour or navigational channel and caused beach erosion, seawall destruction. This study aims to investigate describe the characteristics of the wave pattern generated by an individual model ship tested at different velocities and hull forms for a given water depth and to investigate the variations at a given distance from the sailing line under the same conditions. As a result, the angles a's by model ship tests are smaller than those by real ship ones. Wave heights decreases with an increasing the mid-ship cross sectional area $A_s$. The maximum wave height and period increase rapidly in the subcritical speed, and beyond the critical speed the height and period decrease with increasing depth Froude number. And the period keeps constant with the distance from the sailing line.
