Background: This study aimed to investigate clinical effectiveness of a structured eight-week mindfulness-based music therapy (MBMT) program on improving mood regulation in older women with blindness. This investigation compared a MBMT group with a mindfulness intervention (MI) group and a control group. Methods: Ninety-two older females with blindness from a residential setting in Hong Kong were recruited and randomly allocated to a MBMT (n = 31), MI (n = 30), or control (n = 31) group. Psychological measurements regarding mood regulation and general mood states (namely, Difficulties in Emotion Regulation Scale [DERS], Geriatric Depression Scale [GDS], and Depression Anxiety Stress Scales-21), were taken at pretest and posttest. Outcome assessors were blinded to group assignment. Results: Data was analyzed based on intention-to-treat basis. At posttest, DERS scores in the MBMT group (mean differences and 95% confidence interval: 12.1, 5.5 to 18.8) and the MI group (7.2, 0.5 to 13.8) were lower than that in the control group. GDS scores in the MBMT group (2.9, 1.7 to 4.0) and the MI group (1.7, 0.6 to 2.9) were lower than those in the control group. Compared with the MI group, the MBMT group improved emotional awareness sub-scores in DERS (2.1, 0.2 to 4.1) and appeared to lower depression in GDS scores (1.1, -0.0 to 2.3; p = 0.053). Conclusion: MBMT seems more beneficial than MI alone for improving emotional regulation in older women with blindness. The combination of mindfulness and music can generate a synergetic effect by enhancing both attention and appraisal components within the emotional-regulation process. It is suggested to include the urine occult blood test in the test items for the routine physical cheek up to keep track the personal health record. The suggestion is based on the fart that 775(2.4%). subjects were found to be urine occult blood positive among 31, 024 tested during the routine physical check up for the civil service employes.

Highly reliable packaged 64kbit ferroelectric memories with $0.8{\;}\mu\textrm{m}$ CMOS ensuring ten-year retention and imprint at 125^{\circ}C$ have been successfully developed. These superior reliabilities have resulted from steady integration schemes free from the degradation, due to layer stress and attacks of process impurities. The resent results of research and development for ferroelectric memories at Hynix Semiconductor Inc. are summarized in this invited paper.

Fuel cells are devices that convert chemical energy directly into electrical energy. Owing to the high efficiency of the fuel cells, a large number of research work have been done during these years. Among many kinds of the fuel cells, a polymer electrolyte membrane fuel cell is such kind of thing which works under low temperature. Because of the specialty, it stimulated intense global R&D competition. Most of the major world automakers are racing to develop polymer electrolyte membrane fuel cell passenger vehicles. Unfortunately, there are still many problems to be solved in order to make them into the commercial use, such as the thermal and water management in working process of PEMFCs. To solve the difficulites facing the researcher, the analysis of the inner mechanism of PEMFC should be implemented as much as possible and mathematical modeling is an important tool for the research of the fuel cell especially with the combination of experiment. By regarding some of the assumptions and simplifications, using the finite element technique, a two-dimensional electrochemical mode is presented in this paper for the further comparison with experimental data. Based on the principals of the problem, the equations of electronic charge conservation equation, gas-phase continuity equation, and mass balance equation are used in calculating. Finally, modeling results indicate some of the phenomenon in a unit cell, and the relationships between potential and current density.
Phenylmercuric 8 - oxyquinolinate 의 합성과 그 살균효과에 대하여

8-Hydroxyquinoline, known to have the therapeutic effect to fusarium; and to diminish the amount of evaporation because of reducing the size of the stomata, and a new compound, phenylmercuric 8-oxyquinolinate, were synthesized. The fungicidal effect and diminishing effect of evaporation in phenylmercuric 8-oxyquinolinate were studied and the results are as follows. 1) 8-Hydroxyquinoline(m.p. 74∼75°, white needle crystalline) was synthesized by Skraup's method. 2) Phenylmercuric 8-oxyquinolinate(m.p. 159∼160℃, yellowish brown needle crystalline) was synthesized by reacting phenylmercuricacetate to 8-hydroxyquinoline. 3) The orders of the fungicidal effects are; a) To Cochliobolus miyabeanus P.M.A.〈P.M.I.〈phenylmercuric 8-oxyquinolinate b) To Fusarium oxysporum var. nicotinae P.M.I.〈phenylmercuric 8-oxyquinolinate〉 P.M.A 4) Phenylmercuric radical was absorbed completely during elution from Amberolite IR-120. 5) The diminishing effect of evaporation was maximum at 20 p.p.m in phenylmercuric 8-oxyquinolinate. 6) From the above results, the new compound is isuggested to have both fungicidal effect anddiminshing effect of evaporation.
