<P><B>Abstract</B></P><P>To electrically characterize ball grid array (BGA) packages, one-port <I>S</I>-parameter measurements have been performed. O- and N-Methyltransferases in benzylisoquinoline alkaloid producing plants

Background Secondary metabolites such as benzylisoquinoline alkaloids (BIA) have attracted considerable attention because of their pharmacological properties and potential therapeutic applications. Methyltransferases (MTs) can add methyl groups to alkaloid molecules, altering their physicochemical properties and bioactivity, stability, solubility, and recognition by other cellular components. Five types of O-methyltransferases and two types of N-methyltransferases are involved in BIA biosynthesis. Objective Since MTs may be the source for the discovery and development of novel biomedical, agricultural, and industrial compounds, we performed extensive molecular and phylogenetic analyses of O- and N-methyltransferases in BIA-producing plants. Methods MTs involved in BIA biosynthesis were isolated from transcriptomes of Berberis koreana and Caulophyllum robustum. We also mined the methyltransferases of Coptis japonica, Papaver somniferum, and Nelumbo nucifera from the National Center for Biotechnology Information protein database. Then, we analyzed the functional motifs and phylogenetic analysis. Result We mined 42 O-methyltransferases and 8 N-methyltransferases from the five BIA-producing plants. Functional motifs for S-adenosyl-L-methionine-dependent methyltransferases were retained in most methyltransferases, except for the three O-methyltransferases from N. nucifera. Phylogenetic analysis revealed that the methyltransferases were grouped into four clades, I, II, III and IV. The clustering patterns in the phylogenetic analysis suggested a monophyletic origin of methyltransferases and gene duplication within species. The coexistence of different O-methyltransferases in the deep branch subclade might support some cases of substrate promiscuity. Conclusions Methyltransferases may be a source for the discovery and development of novel biomedical, agricultural, and industrial compounds. Our results contribute to further understanding of their structure and reaction mechanisms, which will require future functional studies. 도시하천의 흰빰검둥오리(Anas poecilorhyncha) 출현특성비교

본 연구는 도시를 건전하고 활력있는 생태환경 조성에 중요한 역할을 하는 도시하천에 서식하는 야생물새들의 서식 위해요소에 대한 평가와 위해요소 해결방안을 제시하기위한 기초연구로 수행하였다. 자연형하천으로 조성된 금강수계 반석천에 서식하는 야생 흰빰검둥오리에 대한 모니터링을 실시하고 월별, 하천 구간별 출현 특성을 분석하였고 이준우 등(2003)이 반석천 상위하천인 유성천이 합류되는 갑천의 만년교-대덕교 3.4㎞구간에서 실시했던 모니터링 결과와 월별 단위면적당 밀도(density) 등을 구하여 비교·고찰하였다. 갑천의 만년교-대덕교 구간에서 2002년 1월부터 8월까지 출현한 물새류는 17종 1,819마리로 2018년 반석천에서 1월부터 8월까지 출현한 물새류는 5종 366마리로 절대값은 상당한 차이를 보이고 있다. 갑천의 만년교-대덕교 구간은 구간거리가 3.4㎞이고 저수로폭은 100m로 수면적은 340,000㎡이고, 반석천 조사구간은 구간거리가 3.224㎞, 저수로폭은 6m로 수면적은 19,344㎡이다. 흰빰검둥오리의 전체 단위면적당 밀도는 갑천 만년교-대덕교 구간이 0.0345마리/100㎡이고 반석천 조사구간이 0.165마리/100㎡로 반석천 조사구간이 본류구간인 갑천 만년교-대덕교 구간보다 4.9배 높은 밀도를 보였다.
지능형 시설 관리를 위한 통신 및 전선류의 지하 공동 매설 동향 연구

본 논문은 도시의 지하시설물을 효율적으로 매설하고 관리하기 위한 방법 중, 직접매설 방식과, 대형 공동구, 소형 공동구(단독구)등의 동항에 대해 조사하였고, 기존 직접 매설에 따른 반복굴착과 도로 점유에 대한 문제나 대형 공동구의 과다비용 문제등을 해결할 수 있는 소형 단독구, 그 중에서도 전기/통신을 위주로 관리할 수 있는 전선 공동구의 활용 동향에 대해 조사하였다. 앞으로 u-City 등에서 다양한 시설물을 관리하기 위해 수많은 전기/통신 라인들이 지하에 매설될 예정이므로 이를 효율적으로 관리할 수 있는 방안에 대해 연구방향을 제시하였다.

In 2013 Korean New Car Assessment Program(KNCAP), An assessment of the 5<SUP>th</SUP> %ile female Hybrid Ⅲ dummy in the front passenger position was initiated for protecting transportation vulnerable. In 2017, not only the front passenger seat, roadmap to assess female occupant in the drivers seat is presented. To satisfy the assessment of the 5<SUP>th</SUP> %ile female dummy, manufacturer is developing and optimizing restraints system. In this paper, series of sled test were conducted to 50<SUP>th</SUP> %ile and 95<SUP>th</SUP> %ile Hybrid Ⅲ dummy in order that restraints system optimized for female passenger can satisfy injury value to the various occupants.
TestLab에서 센서 네트워크를 통한 센서 데이터의 경험적 연구

최근에는 도시기반 시설물에 대한 실시간 모니터링을 기술을 요구되고 있으나, 그 대상 범위가 넓어 연구에 많은 어려움이 있다. 또한 센서의 조립이나 네트워크에 연구는 많이 진행되었으나, 적용성 실험에 대한 연구는 많이 부족한 현실이다. 이에 본 논문에서는 도시시설물에 설치 위치 및 장소에 따른 센서값의 변화을 측정하기 위해, Test Lab에 동일 센서를 서로 다른 장소에 설치 한 후, 데이터의 변화를 측정하였다. 센서 설치 위치에 따라 값의 차이가 많았으며, 직사광선에 영향을 많이 받는 것을 확인할 수 있었다.
