빠르며 정확하고 안전한 치아이동을 목표로 삼고 있는 교정치료에서 새로운 패러다임이라고 여겨지는 피질골 절제술과 견인 골형성술을 응용한 구치의 원심직립이동에 대하여 알아보았다. 일반적인 방법으로는 어렵거나 치료 기간이 길어질 것으로 판단되는 구치의 원심직립 이동을 피질골 절제술과 견인 골형성술을 응용하여 도모하였다. 각각의 원심직립 증례를 통해 피질골 절제술과 견인 골형성술의 적용 술식, 견인장치 등을 논하고 그 효과를 파악하였다. 빠른 치아이동과 이에 따른 교정치료 기간의 단축이 가능하고 통상의 교정치료로는 이동에 한계가 있었던 치아이동을 구치의 정출이나 고정원의 상실 없이 도모할 수 있었다. Tooth movement facilitated by corticotomy and distraction osteogenesis, a new paradigm in orthodontics, was discussed. Molar uprighting was thought to be either difficult or nearly impossible. In this study, a section of cortical bone. which may act as resistance to tooth movement in alveolar bone, was removed. Active bone deposition was also made possible in the tension side. This forms the main concept of tooth movement facilitated by corticotomy and distraction osteogenesis. Molars in two cases were uprighted at such a speedy rate as we could not Imagine in conventional tooth movement, which lead to reduction of the total treatment period. And molar uprighting was possible without side effects, for example, supraversion of the tooth or anterior anchorage loss. These were the superior aspects to conventional orthodontics.
다양성관리가 구성원들의 관계갈등과 창의성에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구

다양성관리와 조직성과에 대한 선행연구들은 일관적이지 못한 결과를 보여주고 있는데, 이는 다양성을 바라보는 시각에 따라 조직성과에 미치는 영향이 다르게 나타날 수 있기 때문이다. 이에 본 연구에서는 다양성관리를 제도적 다양성관리, 문화형성 다양성관리, 전략적 다양성관리로 세분화하고, 각각의 다양성관리가 조직 구성원들의 창의성과 관계갈등에 어떠한 영향을 미치는가를 살펴보았다. 공공부문 구성원들을 대상으로 실증 분석한 결과, 첫째, 다양성관리와 관계갈등 간의 관계에서, 문화형성 다양성관리만이 갈등을 감소시키는 영향을 주는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 다양성관리와 창의성 간의 관계에서는 제도적 다양성 관리와 전략적 다양성관리가 창의성에 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 이는 다양성관리에 있어서 목적과 유형에 따라 구성원들에게 미치는 영향이 다르게 나타남을 보여주는 결과로 볼 수 있다. 따라서 조직차원에서의 효과적인 다양성관리를 위해서는 일률적인 시행보다는 조직이 처한 상황과 배경을 고려하는 전략적인 접근이 보다 필요함을 확인할 수 있었다. Previous studies on the relationship of diversity management and organizational performance do not yield any consistency results due to varying perspectives. Thus, to fill the research gap, this study categorizes diversity management into institutional, cultural, and strategic diversity management to test how these different types of management tools could affect the relationship between relation conflict and creativity. We confirmed two meaningful findings from this research. First, institutional and strategic diversity management approaches do not give any significant impact on dissolution of relational conflicts whereas cultural diversity management is significantly and positively associated with dissolution of relational conflicts. Second, institutional and strategic diversity management could nurture creativity meaningfully whereas cultural diversity management could not. From these results, we can claim that the strategic and goal driven approaches for managing diversity should be in essential to produce more efficient and effective human resource policies in the Korean public sector.

Background: We evaluated the effect of ulinastatin on paw withdrawal threshold (PWT), IL-6, and IL-10 in SD rats after spinal nerve ligation (SNL). Methods: Group C received N/S and Group E received ulinastatin IV for three days following SNL. PWT, IL-6, and IL-10 were measured on the 3rd, 5th, and 7th day. Results: Group E showed higher PWT compared to group C. IL-6 was lower in group E than in group C. No differences in IL-10 were observed between group C and group E. Conclusion: Ulinastatin increased the PWT and its effect appears to be involved with IL-6, not IL-10.
Effect of Cimetidine on the Transport of Quinolone Antibiotics in Caco-2 Cell monolayers

Cimetidine, a substrate for P-glycoprotein (P-gp), is a well known drug interacting with a variety of drugs and results in alteration of pharmacokinetic parameters by concomitant administration. The aim of present study was to investigate whether cimetidine affects the transport of various quinolone antibiotics in human colorectal cancer cell line (Caco-2) system which has been typically used to investigate drug transport via P-gp. The apparent permeability coefficients (Papp) value of 9 quinolone antibiotics in the co-treatment with cimetidine was examined. Apical to basolateral (AP-to-BL) transport of fleroxacin in the co-treatment with cimetidine was increased to 1.5-fold (p<0.01) compared with that of fleroxacin alone, whereas basolateral to apical (BL-to-AP) transport of fleroxacin was decreased to 0.83-fold significantly (p<0.05). Ofloxacin was decreased to 0.8-fold (p<0.01) and 0.72-fold (p<0.01) significantly in AP-to-BL and BL-to-AP direction, respectively by cimetidine co-treatment. The Papp values of gatifloxacin, moxifloxacin, ciprofloxacin and rufloxacin also were changed by cime-tidine. These results have a potential that cimetidine influences on the pharmacokinetics of quinolone antibiotics. It suggests that careful drug monitoring and dosage adjustment may be necessary during the co-administration of quinolone antibiotics with cimetidine.
Compensation of Position Error due to Amplitude Imbalance in Resolver Signals

This paper presents a compensation algorithm for position error due to an amplitude imbalance between resolver output signals. Resolvers are typically used to obtain absolute position information for motor drive systems in severe environments. Position error is caused by an amplitude imbalance of the resolver output signals. As a result, the d- and q-axis currents of synchronous reference frame have periodic ripples in the stator fundamental frequency in permanent magnet synchronous motor (PMSM) drive systems. Therefore, this paper proposes a compensation algorithm to reduce the position error generated by the amplitude imbalance. The proposed method does not require any additional hardware, and reduces computation time with a simple integral operation according to rotor position. In addition, the position error can be directly compensated for by the estimated position error. The effectiveness of the proposed compensation algorithm is verified through several simulations and experiments.

It is well documented that human milk contains amylase but not in cow’s milk. Besides the level of amylase activity in saliva and in pancreatic juice is very low at birth, but increases during the first month of life. Present study was carried out to determined the amylase activity in breast milk from various stages of lactation and to compared with that of duodenal juice from infant. The effect of low pH on human milk amylase activity and contribution of human milk amylase activity to total amylase activity in duodenal juice were also studied. Total 201 samples of milk were obtained from 109 mothers during the March to July 1983 and results were as follows. 1) amylase activity was high in colostrums and somewhat lower in milk from day 14 to day 30 after delivery. In this period of lactation, breast milk contained higher amounts of amylase than duodenal juice from infants aged 1 to 6 months. 2) Low amylase activity was found in milk from 4 month or more after delivery. 3) A pH of 5.3 does not inactivate the amylase and there was considerable breast milk amylase activity in duodenal juice after a meal of breast milk. Breast milk amylase could thus contribute to the breast-fed infant’s ability to digest starch.
