        학교조직에 대한 교육행정가의 헌신도와 직무만족

        본 연구는 학교행정가들을 대상으로 조직헌신도와 직무만족에 영향을 미치는 예언변인들을 알아보고 그 영향정도를 비교하는 데 목적이 있다. 조직헌신도와 직무만족에 영향을 미치는 변인들에 대한 선행연구의 조사결과, 변인들은 개인예측변인과 조직예측변인군 등 두 가지 변인군들로 분류할 수 있다. 본 연구의 대상은 176명의 공ㆍ사립학교 행정가들로 구성되며, 설문지의 회수율은 70.4%였다. 본 연구의 분석 방법으로는 상관분석, 중다회귀분석, 다변량 분석방법 등의 통계방법이 사용되었다. 조직헌신도와 직무만족에 영향을 미치는 예언변인들에 대한 중다회구분석 결과 학교유형 변인만이 의미있는 영향을 미치고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 공ㆍ사립 학교 행정가들 간에 조직헌신도와 직무만족의 정도 차이를 검증하기 위하여 다변량 분석을 한 결과 역시 학교 유형만이 조직헌신도와 직무만족의 유의미한 예언변인인 것으로 밝혀졌다. 구체적인 분석 결과 사립학교 행정가들은 공립학교 행정가들보다 조직헌신도와 직무만족수준이 더 높은 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 연구 결과들을 토대로 결론과 제언이 논의된다.

        A multifocal analysis of Korean accountability policy implementation

        Korean accountability policies in education were derived from the 5.31 Reform oriented to the increase of autonomy and responsibility for school effectiveness and the quality instruction. The policies encompass school evaluation, national assessment of educational achievement, teacher evaluation, and educational institution information disclosure. The policies are related to the influences of formal institutions and social contexts on the interactions of policy players. The accountability policies have been heated issues, educational equality versus excellence and professionalism versus managerialism. As a result, the roles, powers, functions, structures, and relations between administrators and professionals have gradually changed to a system of supervising leadership and a complying (or resisting) group of professional teachers. In this respect, we argue that accountability policy needs to be analyzed from a multifocal approach coupled with a historical institutional, political, and structural analysis.

        A political analysis of the policy process of the Open Recruitment System of Principals in Korea

        This paper analyzes the policy process within the creation of the Open Recruitment System of Principals (ORSP) in Korea, considering the policy actors and the policy environment. As a result, the national policy environment and external elements such as social, economic, and political change resulted in a radical policy initiative. The policy process of the ORSP showed dynamic interactions among policy actors over time, and policy actors interacted with the national policy environment in the process. However, the ORSP process has been short of deep consideration and discourse respecting different perspectives and interests of other stakeholders in policy making. There could be several reasons for this: (1) with a closed policymaking environment sponsored by the government, formal players demonstrated a strong will to introduce and implement the ORSP, forcing stakeholders to accept the ORSP this has served as a powerful policy trajectory as well as the ethical framework in the policy discourse (2) the government compromised politically with unofficial actors,making accommodations such as a public hearing regulated by the Administrative Procedure Act and (3) most interest groups, either opposing or proponent groups,did not compromise but competed with other policy actors only for their own interests in the policy process of the ORSP.

        Curved beam through matrices associated with support conditions

        In this article, the values of internal force and deformation of a curved beam under any action with the firm or elastic supports are determined by using structural matrices. The article presents the general differential formulation of a curved beam in global coordinates, which is solved in an orderly manner using simple integrals, thus obtaining the transfer matrix expression. The matrix expression of rigidity is obtained through reordering operations on the transfer notation. The support conditions, firm or elastic, provide twelve equations. The objective of this article is the construction of the algebraic system of order twenty-four, twelve transfer equations and twelve support equations, which relates the values of internal force and deformation associated with the two ends of the directrix of the curved beam. This final algebraic system, expressed in matrix form, is divided into two subsystems: twelve algebraic equations of internal force and twelve algebraic equations of deformation. The internal force and deformation values for any point in the curved beam directrix are determined from these values in the initial position. The five examples presented show how to apply the matrix procedures developed in this article, whether they are curved beams with the firm or elastic support
