      • 산포도와 머루중의 Polyphenol Oxidase에 관한 연구¹

        Polyphenol oxidase was partially purified from fresh vitis flexuosa and vitis amurensis and its characteristics were studied. the experimental results were summarized as follows. 1.The enzyme activities were increased during the fruit developement gradually in two sample. 2.The optimum pH and temperature for activity were 5.5 and 30℃, respectively. 3.The enzyme was active with o-phenols and trihydroxyphenol, but inactive toward m-diphenols and monophenols. 4.The ?? value of the enzymes was 15.4 mM in vitis flexuosa and 12.5 mM in vitis amurensis with catechol as substrate. 5.Inhibitors sudies indicated that sodium diethyl-dithiocarbamate, L-cysteine, sodium bisulfite, L-ascorbic acid and 2-mercaptoeyhanol were the most potent. 6.The enzyme activity increament by ?? was much better than those by the other metal ions.

        다중 중합효소 연쇄반응을 이용한 반코마이신 내성 장구균의 신속 검출

        일반적으로 임상검사실에서 vancomycin resistant enterococci(VRE)를 검출하는 일은 어렵고, 시간이 많이 들며, 검체처리 비용도 많이 든다. 따라서 본 실험은 임상검체에서 분리된 세균으로부터 VRE를 신속하게 확인하고, 진단하기 위한 방법으로서 다중 중합효소 연쇄반응을 확립하였다. 본 실험에 사용된 primer는 장구균에 특이한 유전자인 vanA, vanB, vanC-1, vanC-2/3각각의 염기서열을 기초로 primer를 제작하고, 다중 중합효소 연쇄반응을 실시하여 임상검체로부터 분리된 VRE 유전자의 type 및 분포율을 조사하고자 하였다. 국내에서 분리된 75주의 장구균을 대상으로 다중 중합효소 연쇄반응을 실시한 결과 36주의 분리균주에서 vancomycin에 대해 높은 저항성을 보이는 vanA 유전자를 가진 것으로 나타났다. 그리고 18주에서는 vancomycin에 낮은 저항성을 내성을 보이는 vanC-1또는 vanC-2/3유전자를 보유한 것으로 나타났다. 따라서 본 실험에서 확립한 다중 중합효소 연쇄반응 기법은 신속한 VRE 진단 방법으로 이용할 수 있을 것이다. It is generally difficult, time-consuming, and expensive for the clinical laboratory to detect vancomycin resistant enterococci (VRE). The aim of this study was to develop and evaluate the multiplex polymerase chain reaction (PCR) assay system as a diagnostic tool for the rapid detection of VRE from clinical samples and/or for the identification of VRE from the bacterial strains isolated from clinical specimens. Specific primers, designed from the nucleotide sequences respectively encoding the vanA, vanB, vanC-1, vanC-2/3 genes in enterococci, were coupled in a multiplex PCR assay system. With this multiplex PCR assay system, we investigated the incidence rates and types of VRE isolated from clinical samples. A total of 75 strains of enterococci were isolated in 3 general hospitals in Korea. Of these isolates, 36 strains showed a pattern of highlevel vancomycin resistance which associated with vanA gene, whereas 18 strains showed lowlevel vancomycin resistance associated with vanC-1 or vanC-2/3 gene. Thus, multiplex PCR assay method established in this study could be applied for the rapid detection of VRE.

      • 디지털 워터마킹을 이용한 영상 정보 보호 시스템

        Recently, with advance in computer network and multimedia technology, digital media is rapidly proliferating, and digital copy has been widely practiced. So an efficient technology for the protection of intellectual property is required. Watermark techniques effectively protect the intellectual property for multimedia data, and can prevent an unauthorized person from copying the multimedia data. In this paper, we propose a watermarking scheme to hide watermark information in low-frequency and high-frequency of wavelet transform. Experimental results show that the proposed watermark scheme is robust to several distortions including Gaussian noise and filtering, compression and contrast at different qualities.

      • 히스토그램 피크 매칭을 이용한 사인 인식 시스템

        Most of previous signature recognition method mainly used 8 direction chain code, starting point and separated point to recognize signs. In this paper, we propose a signature recognition system using histogram peak mathing. First, for efficient recognition, the proposed system binarizes and normalizes obtained sign images, and then only sign area is extracted. Next, as input data of ART2, the histogram peaks of x and y axis are used. In the experiment using 40 sign images, the proposed system shows about 88% recognition rate.

      • 운동수행시 혈청효소 변화 분석

        This study aim to compare the effects of acute physical exercise on the serum enzyme, Creatine phosphokinase(CPK), Lactate dehydrgenaes(LDH), glutamic axaloacetic transaminase(GOT) and glutamic pyruvic transaminase(GPT) in two groups of Body Mass Index. The subject was divided two groups of 8 normal(BMI〈23) and 8 obesity (BMI〉30). The exercise consisted of running on a mater driven-treadmill until the subject reached exhaust. Blood sample were drawn from the antecubital vein before, immediately after exercise, postexercise 30 minute and postexercise 60 minute. Serum enzyme activity increase immediately after exercise the end of the tradmill test in the both groups for CPK(24.5%), LDH(15.3%), GOT(39.0%), and GPT(20.6%), and gradually decrease postexercise 60 minute to approximately to base activity. The serum enzyme activity significantly different between normal and obesity groups in before exercise of CPK(40.8%), LDH(14.7%), GOT(27.&%), and GPT(72.4%)(p〈0.05), and the immediately after exercise activity nonsignificantly different for CPK(29.0%), LDH(2.9%), GOT(8.1%), but GPT is significantly different(p〈0.05). It is concluded from this study that serum enzyme activity rise after exercise and recover to the base activity after postexercise 30 and 60 minute. It is indicate that sarum enzyme release to blood from skeletal muscle, tissue and organ. Obesity group's serum enzyme activity more higher than normal group is important pathological examination especially GOT, GPT.

      • 스프린터 및 장거리 런너들의 단기 및 장기 기능성염 투여에 대한 산화 및 항산화제의 특성

        The aim of this study was examine a effects of acute and chronic Functional salt supplement in serum malonedialdehyde concentration as oxidants, and superoxide dismutase and catalase activity as anti-oxidants during maximal exercise In the acute functional salt supplement, Serum MDA concentration of ETG presented significantly decreased 1evels(p<.05) in immediately after exercise compared to rest, but STG was shown a greatly increased levels(p<.05), However, SCG was not shown a difference. In the difference of three group. It was shown a significant difference between ETG vs. STG and ETG vs. SCG(p<.01, respectively). In the chronic functional salt supplement, serum MDA concentration of ETG was shown a significantly low levels(p<.05) immediately after exercise post 12week supplement compared before supplement, wherease, STG presented increased levels in immediately after exercise compared to rest state before supplement, but it was not difference in post 12week supplement, As results, it was not difference in rest state between before and after, but significantly low levels(p<.01) in immediately after exercise post 12week supplement, serum MDA of SCG presented increased levels(p<.05) in immediately after exercise compared to rest before supplement, but it was not significant difference post 12week. Serum SOD activity of three group was riot shown a significant difference in immediately after exercise compared to rest, before and after 12week supplement, Also, it was not difference between before and after supplement. However, serum SOD activity was proved a significantly high levels in ETG, compared to SCG in immediately after exercise before and after supplement. Serum CAT activity of ETG presented not difference in rest and immediately after exercise before and after supplement, but it was shown a significantly high levels(p<.05) in immediately after exercise after supplement compared to before supplement, However STG was not difference, serum CAT activity of SCG presented significantly high levels(p<.05) in immediately after exercise after 12weeks.

        치아 우식부의 기계화학적 제거 효과에 대한 연구

        Mechanical removals in decayed teeth have been performed using drill and sharp hand instruments. These methods have some disadvantages such as pain, local anesthesia and overextended cavities Therefore chemo-mechanical excavation of dentin carious lesions has been introduced. The purpose of this study was to evaluate the efficacy of traditional mechanical methods using burs and chemo-mechanical methods (Carisolv) of caries dentin. Mechanical caries removal was carried with low speed round bur Chemo-mechanical caries excavation was performed with Carisolv (Medi-team), using the Carisolv hand instruments. The mean time to remove caries with two different methods was evaluated and the data analyzed with SPSS software (ver 11.5) by t-test (p < 0.05). For histomorphometry of caries removal were also carried with mechanical or chemo-mechanical (Carisolv) methods from 20 extracted caries permanent molars. Complete caries removal was verified with a #23 sharp explorers, Caries Detector (Kuraray Co. Japan), and standard apical radiography. 1. Chemo-mechanical method was taken more times than mechanical method (1.5 fold) (p < 0.05) 2. Excavation for caries took more time for molar lesion than premolar lesion, and the least time was taken to remove the caries in incisor lesion (p < 0.05). 3. There were no significant differences to remove the caries between the maxilla and mandible (p > 0.05). 4. The remaining carious dentin was detected after the ckemo-mechanical removal of the carious dentin, and no smear layer were seen after the mechanical and chemo-mechanical removal of the carious dentin. 본 연구는 우식의 기계적 제거와 기계화학적 제거의 효과를 비교, 평가하고자 하였으며, 기계적 제거방법은 저속의 round bur로, 기계 화학적 제거 방법은 Carisolv로 우식을 제거한 후, 잔존 우식을 확인하여 소요시간을 측정하였고, 또 실험실에서 발치한 우식 대구치 20개를 위 두 가지 방법으로 우식을 제거 후, Villanueva bone stain액으로 염색하고 표본을 제작 후 관찰하여 다음의 결론을 얻었다; 1.우식제거에 평균소요시간은 기계화학적 제거가 기계적인 제거보다 1.5배 더 길게 나타났다 (P < 0.05). 2, 우식제거에 평균소요시간은 소구치보다 대구치에서 더 길었고, 전치에서 가장 적은것으로 나타났다 (P < 0.05) 3. 상 · 하악에서는 차이가 없었다 (P > 0.05) 4. 기계화학적 방법으로 우식 상아질을 제거 시 잔존 우식 상아질이 관찰되었으며 두 방법 모두 우식 상아질을 제거한 표면에서는 도말층을 관찰할 수 없었다.

      • Clinical Analysis for Stereotatic Aspiration and Thrombolysis of Spontaneous Intracerebral Hemorrhage

        목적 : 저자들은 자발성 뇌출혈 환자에서 뇌 정위적 혈종 배액술 및 용해술의 경험을 분석하여 이 방법의 유용성, 안전성 및 예후인자 등을 평가하고자 한다. 방법 : 기질적인 원인 혹은 혈액 응고성 질환이 없으면서 천막상부 자발성 뇌출혈 용량이 25ml이상 되는 11명의 환자를 대상으로 하였다. 이 중 글라스고우 혼수계수가 5이하인 환자는 대상에서 제외하였다. 컴퓨터 전산촬영 유도하에 카테터를 자발성 뇌출혈에 정위적으로 유치하고 유로키나제를 주입한 후 현종을 흡인하여 제거하였다. 이 과정은 처음 혈종 용량의 절반 이하가 될 때까지 6시간 간격으로 반복하였다. 예후인자를 분석하기 위하여 환자를 두 개의 집단 즉, 글라스고우 결과계수가 4이상의 양호한 집단과 글라스고우 결과계수가 4이하의 불량한 집단으로 나누어 서로 비교분석 하였다. 결과 : 환자들의 평균연령은 59.8세이고, 초기 혈종의 용량의 범위는 15에서 72ml였다. 혈종 용량의 감소비율은 평균 74.2%였다. 시술 후 6개월 추적관찰결과, 56(50.9%)명의 환자는 양호한 회복을 보였고, 29(26.3%)명의 환자는 의존적인 상태였으며, 10(9.0%)명의 환자는 식물인간상태로 유지되었다. 그리고, 15(13.6%)명의 치료도중 사망하였다. 주요한 중요 예후인자는 젊은 나이, 적은 혈종용량, 높은 글라스고우 혼수계수 및 재출혈, 기존질환, 합병증이 없는 경우였다. 결론 : 자발성 뇌출혈 환자에서 뇌 정위적 혈종 배액술 및 용해술이 혈종의 용량을 감소에는 안전하고 효율적인 방법임을 알 수 있었다. 그리고, 불량한 예후인자를 가지고 있는 자발성 뇌출혈 환자는 주기적인방사선학적 검사와 더욱 세심한 시술이 필요할 것으로 사료된다 그리고, 앞으로 연구는 적절한 용해제 용량의 평가와 치사율과 장해율을 감안한 정밀한 비교분석이 있어야 한다고 생각된다.

        조선업 근로자의 누적외상성질환 실태와 누적외상성질환 범용 작업위험도 평가도구를 이용한 작업분석

        Cumulative trauma disorders were surveyed in a cross-sectional study of 100 male shipyard workers an 43 male office workers. And baseline checklist for risk assessment of cumulative trauma disorders was applicated in a ship making process. Cases of cumulative trauma disorders were defined using physical examinations and electronic diagnostic mathods. Data on demographics, individual factors(medical condition), work organization and psychosocial aspects of work were obtained by questionnaire. Association between the above factors and cumulative trauma disorders were assessed by multiple logistic regression models. 29(29%) participants of male shipyard workers and 4(9.2%) study subjects of male office workers met our case definitions for cumulative trauma disorders. The myofascial pain syndrome of neck muscles(12% of participants) and carpal tunnel syndrome(5% of participants) were the major two medical conditions in shipyard workers. The odds of male shipyard workers for cumulative trauma disorders to male office workers was 3.15 after adjustment of age(95% C. I. : 2.25-5.44). And the variables such as duration of present job, HIVD condition, and surges in workload were associated at least one of the cumulative trauma disorders in the final models(p<0.05). This study indicates that workrelated upper extremity musculoskeletal disorders are relatively common among shipyard workers, and shows that the psychosocial factors is not likely to be related to the occurrences of these disorders in heavy workers. Also we developed baseline checklist for risk assessment of cumulative trauma disorders. The checklist was unique in that its expected users were industrial hygienists and occupational healthing nurses who did not have much ergonomic background and in that it was targeted to Korean workers in various types. As the first application of the checklist, shipyard workers were evaluated.
