        Hierarchically nanoporous pyropolymer nanofibers for surface-induced sodium-ion storage

        <P><B>Abstract</B></P> <P>Surface-driven charge storage materials based on both electrochemical double layer (EDL) formation and pseudocapacitive behavior can deliver high energy and power capabilities with long-lasting cycling performance. On the other hand, the electrochemical performance is strongly dependent on the material properties, requiring sophisticated electrode design with a high active surface area and a large number of redox-active sites. In this study, hierarchically nanoporous pyropolymer nanofibers (HN-PNFs) were fabricated from electrospun polyacrylonitrile nanofibers by simple heating with KOH. The HN-PNFs have a hierarchically nanoporous structure and an exceptionally high specific surface area of 3,950.7m<SUP>2</SUP> g<SUP>−1</SUP> as well as numerous redox-active heteroatoms (C/O and C/N ratio of 10.6 and 16.8, respectively). These unique material properties of HN-PNFs resulted in high reversible Na-ion capacity of ∼292mAhg<SUP>−1</SUP> as well as rapid kinetics and stable cycling performance in the cathodic potential range (1-4.5V vs. Na<SUP>+</SUP>/Na). Furthermore, energy storage devices based on HN-PNFs showed a remarkably high specific energy of ∼258 Wh kg<SUP>−1</SUP> at ∼245Wkg<SUP>−1</SUP> as well as a high specific power of ∼21,500Wkg<SUP>−1</SUP> at ∼78 Wh kg<SUP>−1</SUP>, with long and stable cycling behaviors over 2,000 cycles.</P> <P><B>Highlights</B></P> <P> <UL> <LI> Hierarchically nanoporous pyropolymer nanofibers (HN-PNFs) were fabricated. </LI> <LI> HN-PNFs have a high specific surface area of ∼3,950m<SUP>2</SUP> g<SUP>−1</SUP> and numerous heteroatoms. </LI> <LI> HN-PNFs exhibit high capacities of ∼292mAhg<SUP>−1</SUP> and great rate/cycling performances. </LI> <LI> High energy (258Whkg<SUP>−1</SUP>) and high power (21,500Wkg<SUP>−1</SUP>) are achieved. </LI> </UL> </P> <P><B>Graphical abstract</B></P> <P>Hierarchically nanoporous pyropolymer nanofibers (HN-PNFs) fabricated from electrospun polyacrylonitrile nanofibers by simple heating with KOH exhibited high electrochemical performance for Na-ion storage.</P> <P>[DISPLAY OMISSION]</P>

      • 대구시 도시형 한옥의 녹지공간 구성 및 이용실태

        본 연구는 도시형 한옥에서의 녹지공간에 대한 거주가의 인식과 구성 및 이용실태, 미래 요구 등을 현장조사와 설문조사를 병행하여 조사한 결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 1. 도시형 한옥 거주자들이 자연을 인식하는 장소로는 주택내 식물, 주변의 산이나 강, 도로변 가로수나 꽃밭 등이었고, 대상은 식물, 곤충의 울음소리, 개울/연못 등이었다. 2. 조사대상 주택의 녹지공간은 주로 마당, 부속사 옥상, 담장 주위, 본채 기단부 등 이었으며, 마당은 대부분 생활기능을 담기 위해 비워두고 부분적으로 '화단', '화단과 화분', '텃밭', '정원' 등으로 꾸며, 관상수·채소류·화초류·유실수 등을 가꾸고 있었다. 3. 녹지공간에 대한 요구도 조사 결과에서는, 마당을 화단이나 정원 등으로 녹화하고, 본채 기단부와 부속사 옥상 화분에 채소나 화초류를 길러 가족의 취미생활 및 이웃과 함께 즐기며 주택 내·외부를 녹화하고 싶다는 요구가 높았다. 주택내에 두고 싶은 자연물은 나무나 화초, 개울/연못 등이 많았고, 기타 공충의 울음소리, 산이나 논밭, 구름/달 등을 보고 들을 수 있으면 좋겠다는 의견도 있어 주택내·외부의 녹지 구성 뿐만 아니라 주변의 자연물을 시각적·청각적으로 느끼고 싶은 욕구가 매우 강하게 나타나고 있어 조망을 위한 도심 주변부 스카이라인(skyline)에 대한 배려가 필요한 것으로 나타났다. 이상의 결과에서 대구시 도시형 한옥은 마당을 중심으로 녹지공간을 구성하여 일상생활과 더불어 가족들이 취미생활공간으로 이용되고 있으며, 이에 대한 거주자들의 요구가 점차 커지고 있음을 알 수 있었다. 따라서 앞으로 거주자 속성 및 건축적 특성과의 관계, 양옥과의 비교연구 등을 통해 도심지 주변 주거의 질 향상을 위한 녹환경 관련 연구가 이어지기를 기대한다. This is a positive study for researching of the cognition, realities of composition and utilization, and requirements of the future about Green spaces of the urban traditional residences nearby downtown of Taegu. This study is constructed to the actual and servey examination, and the subject areas were Sam-Duk-Dong and Su-Sung-Dong. The results of this study were summarized as follows. 1) The dweller more preferences anti-artificial and hearing than artificial and visually nature elements. 2) The best plant space was 'Madang', and the kind of best plant was ornamental. the main purpose of plants were admiration and to use as food. 3) The dweller's requirements rather hearing elements than visually, and they preference in indirectly method but they had subconsiousness about directly plant plan. Also they want to water space.

      • 방광암 환자에서 염색체 이상이 예후에 미치는 영향에 대한 세포유전학적 연구

        Bladder cancer is the most common type of urinary cancer in Korea. Usually it has an unpredictable natural history with respect to tumor invasion and recurrence. The cytogenetic results and genetic alterations of bladder cancer are thought to be closely related to cancer promotion and progression. To predict the possible relationship among them, we performed the cytogenetic analysis in the bladder cancer patients. The specimens of the 32 patients who underwent operations for the bladder cancer were obtained and cultured. Of them 15 cases were cytogenetically abnormal. There were wide variety of structural and numerical chromosomal aberrations. The most frequently affected chromosomes were 4, 8, 9 and 19 as determined by karyotyping. In our study, as in other studies the more the genes were hyperdiploidy and the more the genetic aberrations were complex, and the cancer was more invasive and the cancer grade was higher. There was frequent loss on chromosome 4, 9, 19 and the appearance of marker chromosomes. Although most amplifications and deletions have been previously described in the literature, our study showed some intriguing and uncommon regions, different from those found in past studies.

        As a part of efforts for conformity of demand in regard to high quality of concrete, blast-furnace slag has been utilized by means of cement replacement. Superior performance can be ensured, environmental pollution can be prevented and economical advantage can be obtained with utilization by cement placement. But the study on the blast-furnace slag is not systematic and reasonable. So, it is planed that basic data in regard to technique of manufacturing and economic improvement of high quality concrete is showed with experimental comparison and investigation of engineering properties of high quality concrete utilized by cement placement of blast-furnace as industry by-product in this study.

      • 클랩(Clap)과 노말(Normal) 스케이트 착용에 따른 남ㆍ여 스피드 스케이트 출발 구간의 운동학적 분석

        The purpose of this study is to examine the kinematic characteristics of starting phase of players weared clap and normal skate in speed skating. The subjects of this study were current members of high ranked skaters in university. The Direct Linear Transformation(DLT) technique was employed to obtain 3-D position coordination of 22 joint points. Butter-worth low-pass filtering method was used to data smoothing at cut-off frequency of 7.4Hz. From the results of this study, the following conclusions were drawn; 1.At the of landing, male athlete showed slightly fast time in the first left-step and they also showed take-off by fast swing motion during gliding. 2.To get propel acceleration, female athlete showed large tranverse displacement and, on the other hand, male athlete showed large horizontal displacement. According to this results, COG showed steep change of motion in the high position during starting. 3.In the velocity of COG, both male an female athlete show a gradual rise-pattern of the velocity rate, In the velocity of skate front blade, they showed the swift change of the velocity during the second and third phase. 4.In the front angle of trunk, both and female athlete showed the big motion of trunk by the change of angle. In the angle of lower-segments, the better record athlete have, the faster motion of flexion and extention. Especially, female athlete showed the flexion of the angle-change and do not fast swing. In the knee, male athlete show take-off motion as increasing angle of left knee during starting, On the other hand, female athlete showed unnecessary pre-motion by decreasing knee angle and increasing it again.

      • 여성 복압성 요실금에서 전기자극을 이용한 골반저근운동의 효과

        Purpose: PFME(Pelvic floor muscle exercise) has been used in stress Incontinence patients as a primary treatment. The purpose of this study is to evaluate the efficacy of well structed PFME with functional electrical stimulation in these patients. Materials and methods: Ninety five women with stress incontinence were assigned to pelvic floor muscle training program. The mean age of the patients was 43.5 years and according to the Stamey grades, 50(52.6%) were grade 1, 42(44.2%) were grade II and 3(3.2%) were grade III. In principle, we performed electrical stimulation. of 2 times a day, each 30 minutes in length and continued for at least 3 months. Results: In our study, overall success ratee was 76% at lmonth, 96.3% at 2months, 94.4% at 3months and 92% at 6months after treatment, at respectively. The cure rate according to the symptom grade was 48% in grade I, 23.8% in grade II and 0% in grade III, so the degree of grade was significant parameter predictive of a good outcome (p<0.05). Intravaginal pressure increased by 10cmH2O. Increased vaginal pressure was found in 93% of the patients and at least 50% improvement was 61%. Conclusion: PFME using functional electrical stimulation is more effective for the patients who have good compliance, low degree stress incontinence. In order to attain and maintain good results, a well structed program that teaches specific muscle exercise should be used and the patients should be followed by a maintenance program and reinforcement.

      • 혈액투석 환자에게서 발생한 재생불량성 빈혈 1예

        Aplastic anemia is a disease characterized by pancytopenia in the peripheral blood and hypocellular bone marrow with the fatty infiltration. The causes of the acquired aplastic anemia were usually related to drugs and immune-related diseases. A 34-years old man was admitted due to general weakness. He has been going hemodialysis for 2 years because of end stage renal disease (ESRD) due to chronic glomerulonephritis. At admission, laboratory tests showed hemoglobin 6.2 g/dL, hematocrit 18.0 %, WBC 5,710mm (neutrophil 71.8%, lymphocyte 19.1%, monocyte 5.9%), reticulocyte 1.9%, platelet 93,000/mm, Fe 12.8 ug/dL, TIBC 204 ug/dL, ferritin 941.47 ng /ml, haptoglobin 0.72 g/L, vitamin B12 508.17 pmol/L, folate 24 ng/mL, total protein 6.54 g/dL, albumin 3.76 g/dL, Alk. pohsphatase 79 IU/L, AST 30.0 IU/L, ALT 39.7 IU/L, total bilirubin 0.57 mg/dl, BUN 79.4 mg/dl and creatinine 10.18 mg/dl. Peripheral blood smear showed the normocytic normochromic anemia with anisocytosis. Anemia was diagnosed but it was irresponsive to the recombinant human erythropoietin (EPO) and blood transfusion. In the bone marrow aspiration smear were there the hypoplastic myeloid and erythroid precursors. The bone marrow biopsy section showed the hypoplasia of all components (10-20%) and the fatty infiltration. We have experienced one case of the idiopathic aplastic anemia in a patient going through hemodialysis and we just report it with documentary records. 저자들은 혈액 투석 중인 환자에서 약물, 면역계 이상등의 원인을 발견할 수 없었음에도 재생 불량성 빈혈이 발생한 1예를 경험하여 문헌 고찰과 함께 보고하는 바이다.
