        이상정 장군의 육필 유고 『표박기(飄泊記)』 분석

        글은 이상정의 생애와 업적을 살펴보고, 그가 남긴 유고집의 의미와 사료적 가치를 조망하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 자료의 한계로 인해 그 전모 전체를 밝히기에는 어려움이 있지만 본 논의의 의미는 다음과 같이 정리할 수 있다. 이상정의 조국 독립군으로서의 활동을 살펴볼 수 있었고, 우리나라 최초의 여유 비행사였던 권기옥의 독립투쟁사를 밝힐 수 있었다. 뿐만 아니라 동북아시아 특히 한・중의 과거 관계를 알 수 있는 역사 사료로서의 가치를 발견할 수 있었다. 우리나라 고대사의 흐름을 제대로 이해하기 위해서는 동북 지역사에 대한 새로운 인식이 필요하다. 책의 내용을 보면 중국 동북삼성뿐만 아니라 곳곳의 유적지를 답사하며 고적과 유물의 역사와 유래에 대한 글을 남기고 있기 때문이다. 또한 『개벽(開闢)』 잡지 등에 그가 남긴 여러 편의 시조를 살펴보면 문예가로서의 면모도 발견할 수 있는데, 유고집에 남긴 이러한 글들은 문예집으로서도 가치를 지닌다고 할 수 있다. The purpose of this paper is to examine the life and achievements of General Lee Sang-jeong and identify the meaning and historical value of posthumous collection he left. Although there are difficulties in clarifying the full account due to the limitations of data, the significance of this paper can be summarized as follows. It could examine the activities of General Lee Sang-jeong as an army for national independence, and clarify the struggles for independence by Kwon Ki-ok, the first female pilot in Korea. Moreover, this paper could discover values as a historical record to know the past relationship in Northeast Asia, especially Korea and China. It is necessary to have a new recognition of the regional history of Northeast Asia to properly understand the flow of the ancient Korean history. By exploring historical sites in the 3 provinces of Northeast China as well as various places, the book leaves many writings about the history and origins of historical remains and sites, whose quality surpasses that of the writings by renowned, excellent historical scholars. Also, several sijo (Korean traditional three-verse Korean poems) in magazines such as ‘Gaebyeok’ show General Lee Sang-jeong’s talent as a literary artist, indicating the significant value of the pieces he left in his posthumous collection as a literary collection.

        Effect of Strain Aging on Tensile Behavior and Properties of API X60, X70, and X80 Pipeline Steels

        The effect of strain aging on tensile behavior and properties of API X60, X70, and X80 pipeline steels was investigated inthis study. The API X60, X70, and X80 pipeline steels were fabricated by varying alloying elements and thermomechanicalprocessing conditions. Although all the steels exhibited complex microstructure consisting of polygonal ferrite (PF), acicularferrite, granular bainite (GB), bainitic ferrite (BF), and secondary phases, they had different fractions of microstructuresdepending on the alloying elements and thermomechanical processing conditions. The tensile test results revealed that yieldingbehavior steadily changed from continuous-type to discontinuous-type as aging temperature increases after 1% pre-strain. After pre-strain and thermal aging treatment in all the steels, the yield and tensile strengths, and yield ratio were increased,while the uniform elongation and work hardening exponent were decreased. In the case of the X80 steel, particularly, thedecrease in uniform elongation was relatively small due to many mobile dislocations in PF, and the increase in yield ratiowas the lowest because a large amount of harder microstructures such as GB, BF, and coarse secondary phases effectivelyenhanced work hardening.

      • Plenary Session 2 : PS-2-1 ; Outcomes of hepatitis B virus recurrence after liver transplantation: a multicenter analysis in Korea

        Background: The outcome of hepatitis B virus (HBV) infection after liver transplantation (LT) was improved by hepatitis B immunoglobulin (HBIG) and nucles(t)ide analogue (NUA). However, HBV recurrence after LT is critical because the recurrence is occasionally accompanied by a progressive destruction of graft and poor survival. The aims of this study were to investigate the significance HBV recurrence and identity factors associated with HBV recurrence. Methods: From October 1999 to February 2011, a total of 2684 consecutive LT recipients who underwent HBV-associated LT were retrospectively enrolled from 7 transplantation centers in Korea. Results: Prophylaxis regimens were HBIG monotherapy (67.7%) or a combination of HBIG with NUA (22.3%). The recurrence rate of HBV was 6.1% (164 recipients) during mean follow-up duration of 10.9 years. The median time from transplantation to recurrence was 2.1 years (0.1-7.9 years). Of the 1,071 patients with hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) prior to LT, 155 patients (14.5%) had HCC recurrence after transplantation, and 48 patients (31.0%) had HBV recurrence. Of the 48 patients with recurrence of both HBV and HCC, 25 patients (52.1%) experienced HBV recurrence after HCC recurrence. In the multivariate analysis, pretransplant HCC, pretransplant HBV DNA above 5.5 log copies/mL was independent clinical factors influencing HBV recurrence after LT. The mortality rate among the recipients with HBV recurrence was 34.1% (56 recipients). Mean overall survival was 6.4 years in the HBV-recurrence group and 9.9 years in the HBV-nonrecurrence group (p<0.001). HBV recurrence was not an independent prognostic factor for overall survival. HCC recurrence was the most important factor for overall survival. Conclusions: The overall outcome of LT in HBV-related liver disease was excellent with the current prophylaxis regimen Choon Hyuck David Kwon,8 Suk-Koo Lee8 Pretransplant HBV DNA and HCC were important factors for HBV recurrence. HBV recurrence after LT did not significantly influence on the overall survival without combining of HCC recurrence.

        병와 이형상의 < 추록언문반절설 > 분석

        본고에서는 조선 후기의 경세유학자의 한 사람인 병와 이형상이 숙종42(1716)년에 쓴 필사본 『갱영록』 9권 가운데 권2 『자학제강』에 실린 < 추록언문반절설(追錄諺文反切說) >을 중심으로 한글 명칭, 한글 초성 글자의 명칭, 자모 배열, 자모의 기원설, 오음과 오성의 기원과 편제에 대한 여러 가지학설을 검토하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 이와 아울러 『자학제강』이라는 책의 편찬 년대에 대한 새로운 고증과 함께 역시 병와가 쓴 『악학편고』에 나타난 성운을 나타내는 종도의 칠음과 횡도의 사성에 대한 견해를 분석하였다. This study analyses the theory on the paradigm of a postscript Korean alphabets arranged as a syllabary, which is contained in 「Jahakjegang(Study on letters)」written by Lee Hyeong-sang who was one of the governing confucian scholars in the late period of Joseon Dynasty. It examines thoroughly various views on the names of Hangeul, the names of initial sound of letters, the letter arrangement, the origin of letters, and the composition of rhymes. Although it is actually such a very short writing, the theory on the paradigm of a postscript Korean alphabets arranged as a syllabary, it is considered very important because it contains theories on Hangeul of the governing confucian scholars in the late period of Joseon Dynasty.

      • Vacuum-Free Continuous Fabrication for Forming Narrow Bus Wires

        <P>Photolithography is undoubtedly the most widely used patterning method for the fabrication of micro-and nanofeatures, despite the recent development in some unconventional fabrication techniques that are poised to take over certain applications. But photolithography is still the main fabrication method in industry. To step forward in many applied areas, however, large-area, continuous fabrication system needs to be developed. However photolithography has not been extended to large area continuous patterning like other printing technologies. Photolithography is currently based on wafer scale fabrication and metal deposition process is performed under high vacuum condition. Here we report the development of continuous roll type contact photolithography which is termed photo roll lithography (PRL) and vacuum-free metal filling method. Continuous patterning is achieved was by employing a flexible photomask with Al patterns, which was fabricated by conventional photolithography method. Also, metal nanopowder was stuffed in fabricated PR patterns by puffs, instead of conventional deposition methods. As a feasible application, we demonstrated a fabrication of narrow bus wire for using on display devices.</P>

      • Obstacle avoidance for small UAVs using monocular vision

        <B>Purpose</B> - The purpose of this paper is to propose that the three-dimensional information of obstacles should be identified to allow unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) to detect and avoid obstacles existing in their flight path. <B>Design/methodology/approach</B> - First, the approximate outline of obstacles was detected using multi-scale-oriented patches (MOPS). At the same time, the spatial coordinates of feature points that exist in the internal outline of the obstacles were calculated through the scale-invariant feature transform (SIFT) algorithm. Finally, the results from MOPS and the results from the SIFT algorithm were merged to show the three-dimensional information of the obstacles. <B>Findings</B> - As the method proposed in this paper reconstructs only the approximate outline of obstacles, a quick calculation can be done. Moreover, as the outline information is combined through SIFT feature points, detailed three-dimensional information pertaining to the obstacles can be obtained. <B>Practical implications</B> - The proposed approach can be used efficiently in GPS-denied environments such as certain indoor environments. <B>Originality/value</B> - For the autonomous flight of small UAVs having a payload limit, this paper suggests a means of forming three-dimensional information about obstacles with images obtained from a monocular camera.

      • Ganglioside is Important Marker in Osteoblast Differentiation of Adipose-Derived Mesenchymal Stem Cells from Mini-Pig

        Mesenchymal stem cells can differentiate into multiple lineages depending on their exposure to differing biochemical and biomechanical inductive factors. The Ganglioside is included in biomarker, that are the major component of cytoplasmic cell membranes complex glycosphingolipids, and play a role in the control of biological processes. However, role of ganglioside in osteogenesis of mini-pig adipose derived mesenchymal stem cells (AD-MSCs) unclear . We have knocked down was ganglioside synthase UDP-glucose ceramide glucosyltransferase (UGCG)using a siRNA differentiation into osteoblast was markedly decreased in UGCG-knocked down AD-MSCs. The results showed significant inhibits alkaline phosphatase, osteocalcin, osteopontin, and Runt-related transcription factor 2 in UGCG knock down AD-MSCs compared to with the control AD-MSCs. Thus we guess, maybe ganglioside is essential factor to stimulate osteogenesis in AD-MSCs.
