        흰쥐에서 출혈량에 따른 비장세포 증식력과 말초임파구 아형의 변화

        Background: Hemorrhage itself has been shown to produce abnormalities in immunity, particularly depression of the lymphocyte function. In order to better examine the amount of hemorrhage required to suppress the lymphocyte function, we determined the effect of graded fixed-volume hemorrhage on splenocyte proliferation and the lymphocyte subpopulation. Methods: Male Sprague-Dawley rats(weight,350∼400 g) were anesthetized, subjected to hemorrhages of 7.5 ㎖/㎏, 15 ㎖/㎏, and 22.5 ㎖/㎏ by percutaneous cardiac puncture with ㎖/㎏ needles, After 1, 2, 4, and 7 days, animals were killed to obtain the blood and spleen. The splenocyte proliferative capacity was measured by using the tritiated thymidine incorporation technique, and the peripheral lymphocyte subpopulation was determined using flow cytometry with the following monoclonal antibodies: T cell(CD3+), T helper cell(CD4+),7 cytotoxic cell(CD8+), and B cell(CD45RA+). Results: Hemorrhage of 7.5 ㎖/㎏ did not induce depression of splenocyte proliferation. However, for hemorrhage greater than 15 ㎖/㎏, the splenocyte proliferative capacity was significantly depressed at 2 days after hemorrhage and recovered at 4 days. Hemorrhage induced no changes in the relative percentage of lymphocyte subpopulations and in the number of each cell in peripheral blood. Conclusion: This study suggests that cellular immunity is depressed at 48 hrs after a hemorrhage greater than 15 ㎖/㎏ without any change in the peripheral lymphocyte subpopulation.

        The bad balancing of a routing protocol in an ad-hoc network has been one of critical issues in perfomance determination due to the trade-off of a mobility and a transmission delay. SLAHSimpIe Load-balancing Ad-hoc routing Protocol) has considered the load balancing but it is lack of flexibiliy in traffc congestion and topology changes. In this paper, we present a load balancing routing protocol in the ad hoc nebyork, which uses dynamic thresholds for traffic congestion control and for adaptation of mobility and network changes. The proposed protoco1 has been simulated with GloMoSm and compared with ADOV, DSR, and SLASP, in respect with mobility, delay, and packet transmission.

        세균독소로 자극시킨 사람 섬유아 세포에서의 Interleukin-6와 Interleukin-8의 생성

        Cytokines are hormone-like proteins which mediate and regulate inflammatory and immune responses. Interleukin-6 (IL-6) is involved in the final differentiation of B cells into antibody-producing cells. Interleukin-8 (IL-8) is a neutrophil chemotactic factor that plays an important role in the recruitment of neutrophil to inflammatory loci. Inflammatory mediators by cells in the gingiva have been implicated in the initiation and progression of periodontitis and oral infection. The purpose of this study was conducted to investigate the effect of lipopolysaccharide (LPS), staphylococcus enterotoxin B (SEB) on production ofIL-6 and IL-8 by human gingival and facial dermal fibroblasts. Primary cultured human gingival and facial dermal fibroblasts were incubated with LPS(0.01, 0.1, 1.0㎍/ml), SEB (0.01, 0.1, 1.0㎍/ml) or LPS (0.1㎍/ml) plus SEB (0.1㎍/ml). Culture supernatants were collected at 24, 48, and 72 hrs and assessed for IL-6 and IL-8 production by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay. IL-6 production in gingival fibroblasts stimulated with LPS was higher than that with SEB. IL-6 production by double exposure with LPS plus SEB was amplified in comparison with single exposure of LPS or SEB. IL-6 production in facial demal fibroblasts was increased only by stimulation with a high concertration of LPS (1.0㎍/ml). Its production in facial dermal fibroblasts by exposure with SEB was decreased in comparison with control, nontreated cells. Therefore, gingival fibroblasts showed higher sensitivity than facial dermal fibroblasts in response to low concentration of LPS. Also, IL-6 production by double exposure with LPS plus SEB was amplified in comparison with single exposure of LPS or SEB.IL-6 production in facial dermal fibroblasts was increased only by stimulation with a high concentration of LPS(1.0㎍/ml). Its production in facial dermal fibroblasts by exposure with SEB was decreased in comparison with control, nontreated cells. Therefore, gingival fibroblasts showed higher sensitvity than facial dermal fibroblasts in response to low concentration of LPS. Also, IL-6 production by double exposure with LPS plus SEB was amplified in comparison with single exposure of LPS or SEB. IL-8 production in gingival fibroblasts was enhanced greatly only by stimulation of high concentration of LPS (1.0㎍/ml). That by exposure with SEB was increased only in 24 hrs cultivation. IL-8 production by double exposure with LPS plus SEB was amplified in comparison with single exposure of LPS or SEB. IL-8 production in facial dermal fibroblasts was decreased by LPS and increased only in 48 hrs cultivation by SEB. IL-8 production by double exposure with LPS plus SEB was enhanced only in 48 hrs cultivation in comparison with single exposure of LPS or SEB. therefore, IL-6 and IL-8 production were released at various quantities according to bacterial toxin applied and site of fibroblast harvested. These results suggest that gingival fibroblasts may be concerned with IL-6 and IL-8 related inflammatory response more than facial dermal fibroblasts.

        Among a lot modern buildings which have came to our land since the opening of a port, the buildings of which the degree of architectural perfection was high and the original form has been preserved well is block constructions. Especially, in the case of religious construction, a lot of buildings have been well preserved and in existence so far because it did not belong to an individual. But repair and maintenance of these construction become a matter of urgency because the problems due to deterioration has increase as time went by. Fortunately modern constructions recently have been assigned and preserved as cultural assets, and some of them have been repaired. At this point in time when the for conservation and repair of modern brick building are being carried out, the object of this study are for investigating the characteristics of the existing brick buildings made in those days around the center of a modern catholic buildings scattered all over a province of Chungnam and examining a measure for preservation and repair techniques.

        사료용 교잡종 옥수수 연구 : Ⅲ. CNU와 SK계통을 이용한 교잡종 옥수수의 건물중 및 종실 수량

        공시 교잡종에 대한 각 지역에서 선발된 우수 교잡종의 간장 및 착수고는 대조구와 비슷한 경향이었으며, 생체 및 건물수량은 분얼수 및 간장과 관련이 큰 것으로 나타났으나 재식 밀도와 기상상태와도 밀접한 관계로 나타났다. 따라서 생체중은 대전지역에서 재배된 교잡종 H67이 대조구인 광안옥에 비해 53.2%로 높았고, 수원에서 역시 41.8%으로 높았으며, 종실수량은 H15과 H67에서 대조구보다 11.7%와 9.7%로 각각 높게 나타났다. 대전에서 분얼성인 H42와 무얼성인 H65에서 대조구보다 9.1%, 5.2%증가하였고, 수원에서는 분얼성이 H42와 무얼성인 H65에서 대조구보다 9.1%, 8.5% 증가하여 교잡종간, 지역간에 큰 차이를 보였다. 한편 후기 녹체성은 무얼형보다 분얼형에서 낮은 경향을 보였는데 SK계통과 교배된 조합에서 우수한 편으로 나타나 우수 교잡종 육성시 중요 고려사항으로 지적되었다. In order to develop the crude forage maize hybrids with high dry matter and grain yield, several hybrids evaluated as superior hybrids at three regions in 2001. They were planted and surveyed again for the second selection in 2002. The selected hybrids showed large difference in some major characteristics according to planting areas and dates(Suwon : April 25. Daejeon : May 15 and Milyang : May 25), but insect and disease injury were similar to check. Fresh and dry weight of the H67 hybrid at Suwon and Daejeon was the highest among hybrids including check, but low in Milyang due to raining after flowering. Grain yield was higher than check in H15 at Suwon H45 and H37 at Daejeon and H67 at Milyang.

        Shaphylococcus enterotoxin B와 lipopolysaccharide를 작용시킨 사람 섬유아 세포에서 생성된 Transforming Growth Factor-β₁의 정량적 분석

        TGF-β1 is a potent chemotactic factor for inflammatory cells and fibroblasts. It also stimulates the celluar source and components of extracellular matrix and the production of proteinase inhibitors. Collectively, these biologic activities lead to the accumulation and stabilization of the nascent matrix, which is vital to infection control. The objective of this study is to investigate production of TGF-β in vitro fibroblast culture in the presence of Staphylococcus enterotoxin B(SEB) and/or lipopolysaccharide(LPS) and to elucidate the role of TGF-β1 which may be responsible for infection control. The fibroblasts were originated from gingiva and facial dermis in 26 year-old male patient. In the presence of LPS(0.01㎍, 0.1㎍, 1.0㎍), SEB(0.01㎍, 0.l㎍, 1.0㎍) respectively, cells(5×103ml) were cultivated in vitro. At 1, 3, and 5 days after incubation, cells were counted. Also, cells(2.5×105ml) were cultivated in EMEM with LPS(0.01, 0.1 and 1.0㎍), SEB(0.01, 0.1 and 1.0㎍) respectively and LPS(0.1㎍) and SEB (0.1㎍) in combination for 24,48, and 72 hours respectively. Culture supernatants were harvested at 1, 2, and 3 days after incubation period and triplicate culture supernatants were pooled and TGF-β1 was assayed in duplicate. The results were as follows. 1.In gingival fibroblast induced with SEB and LPS respectively or in combination, the suppression of cell Proliferation occurred very significantly since 3 days after incubation, compared with the control and the production of TGF-β1 occurred very significantly at 1 day after incubation, compared with the control. 2.In facial dermal fibroblast induced with SEB and LPS respectively or in combination. the suppression of cell proliferation occurred very significantly at 1 day after incubation, compared with the control. In SEB exposure, the production of TGF-β1 was decreased very significantly at 1 day after incubation, compared with the control. However, in LPS, SEB and LPS exposure, the production of TGF-β1 was increased very significantly at 1 day after incubation, compared with the control. In conclusion, the concentration of bacterial toxins and the incubation period correlated with cell proliferation and production of TGF-β1 very significantly. The gingival and facial dermal fibroblasts have different phenotype each other The orchestrated understanding of fibroblast proliferation and TGF-β1 production play an important part in host defense against the bacterial Infection and may prevent tissue necrosis such as necrotizing fasciitis and life-threatening syndrome such as multiple organ failure.

      • 천주교 감곡성당 사제관에 관한 연구

        The objective of this study is to examine the process and history of the construction of Gamgok Catholic church focusing on its residential facilities. Former parsonage(1896) and current parsonage(1934) are the bases of this study, and these are classified into historical categories, comparing their structural style, historic background, building process and episode with general construction trend of those days. Followings are the analysis of periodic features and categorization of Gamgok Catholic Church's parsonages based on historic classification: During the Period of Civilized Forms of Construction(1890-1910), which is an initial stage for Roman Catholicism in Korean style was chosen so that Catholicism didn't give any disagreeable feelings to local residents. In the Colonized Construction Period(1910-1945), the breast of Mountain was a new construction site. Active acceptance of Western construction style was shown nation-wide thanks to Roman Catholicisms gaining popularity in Changhowon.

      • 보건관리 대행사업 평가도구의 타당성, 신뢰도 및 인과관계 검증에 관한 연구

        In order to verify the validity, reliability and relativeness of preliminary evaluation tool for the group occupational health services(GOHS), a questionnaire survey for doctors, nurses and hygienists of 18 GOSH institutions, and employers, health managers and employees of 340 enterprises was conducted. A factor analysis and correlation test for the statistical validity of the variables in the evaluation tool, a Chronbach's Alpha value for the reliability in the evaluation indices and a regression analysis for the relations of the evaluation model were performed. The results were as follows: 1.In factor analysis, thirty-three variables among 43 variables were selected as significant variables, ie 9 out of 11 for input index, 11 out of 14 for throughout index and 13 out of 18 for out put index. 2.Three evaluation(outcome) scales(evaluation by employer, health manager and employee) which composed of 16 identical items were used. 3.The Chronbach's Alpha values of input, throughout, out put and outcome indices were 0.5221, 0.5473, 0.7122 and 0.8546 respectively. 4.Regression equations of independent variables on the evaluation scales of employer, health manager and employee were all statistically significant.

      • 퍼지 제어기를 이용한 브러시리스 직류전동기의 속도 제어에 관한 연구

        This paper deals with the speed control of a BLDCM with rectangular back electromotive force using fuzzy logic controller. The fuzzy PI controllers make the many degrees of freedom in proportion to the number of the rule for input and its ability of adjustment for control input is excellent. Thus, the proper adjustment of the fuzzy rules can provide the good performance for the system. Above all, the advantage of the fuzzy controller has the characteristic of robustness for parameter variation, load change, noises. As a current controller, a hysterisis current controller is implemented, and in order to reduce torque ripple in low speed range, current controller detects the uncommutating mode current for every 60 electrical degree. The fuzzy speed controller is implemented by MCS80C196KC, a 16 bit one-chip microprocessor. The experimental results show that the performance of the fuzzy speed controller is superior to that of the conventional PI controller in terms of robustness for the change of load torque.

      • 무선 센서 네트워크를 위한 에너지 인식 하이브리드 클러스터링

        Many studies for the efficient utilization of node energy in wireless sensor networks has been done because sensor nodes operate with limited power based on battery. Existing cluster structure has problem that energy consumption is unbalanced because energy consumption is concentrated in cluster head. And in case distribution density of sensor node is low, the energy efficiency is declined because only a few members exist in cluster. In this paper, we submit an hybrid clustering mechanism to construct topology by mixing cluster structure and mesh structure selectively according to distribution of sensor nodes to improve energy efficiency. And we attempt to derive balanced energy consumption by selecting cluster head considering residual energy of each node. The performance of the proposed mechanism has been examined and evaluated with the NS-2 simulator in terms of network lifetime and end-to-end delay.
