        Study of the Agglomeration Behaviour of Surface-Modified Molybdenum Powder

        The agglomeration behaviour of Mo powder, especially fine Mo powder, has been a major concern. The degree of powderagglomeration is directly related to the uniformity of Mo and its alloy powder mixtures and related target materials. Thisstudy mainly focuses on how to efficiently reduce the soft agglomerates behaviour of Mo powder. Analysis of the micromorphologyand median particle size (D50) of modified Mo powder showed that the soft agglomerates behaviour of Mo powdercan be divided into three stages: drawing, gathering, and sticking. Modification of the Mo powder surface by the polymersurfactant PVP-K30 can effectively prevent the agglomeration of the Mo powder. Additionally, the surface hydroxyl groupsof the Mo powder disappeared, the agglomerate factor decreased from 13.02 to 5.04, and the flowability of the Mo powderwas significantly improved. This is important for improving the grain uniformity and application performance of Mo targetmaterials synthesized from Mo powder.

        북한 군중의 정념적 형상계

        The North Korean crowd has a unique passion for its leaders. This mobilization is witnessed in events such as party competitions and military parades. This study uses a semiotic approach to identify the passional configuration of the North Korean crowd operating specifically in North Korean society. Based on the analysis of passion vocabulary, we determined that the passion of the North Korean crowd towards the leader is defined as "enthusiastic worship" and examined it through the passional disposition model. Using the theory of mutual modalization at the narrative level, we found that two unique modality structures determinedthe passion of the North Korean crowd. The chain of being-knowing, being-believing, and doing-wanting showed how North Korean passion differs from religious worship, and the chain of being-knowing, non doing-non being able, and doing-having to reveals the oppressive structure of their passion. At the discourse level, dual modalization was used to investigate the occurrence of dual moralization. The leader’s moralization coexists with the crowdbeing the subject of moralization. In addition, through the process of invoking tensional modulation at the precondition level into aspectualization, it was possible to identify the way in which the expression of the intensity of North Korean passion constitutes a passional configuration. This study complements existing semiotics theory and uses newly designed semiotics of passion to understand the passional structure of the North Korean crowd. The North Korean crowd's passional configuration, which is expressed as a primitive element through dual modalization and moralization, follows the logic of the North Korean social system. The intense passion occurs routinely and naturally, therefore, the passion of "enthusiastic worship"towards the leader becomes natural.

        Haemaphysalis concinna (Acari: Ixodida): Persistent efficacy of doramectin in rabbits under laboratory conditions

        In the present study, the persistent efficacy of doramectin (DOR) in rabbits infested by Haemaphysalis concinna was observed. DOR (200 µg/kg) was administered once to infested rabbits by subcutaneous injection. A total of 15 rabbits were allocated to three groups, which were observed for efficacy. On days 1–7, 8–14, 15–21 and 22–28 post-inoculation, the percent reduction of tick larvae in DOR treated rabbits was 100.0, 100.0, 86.7 and 61.7%, respectively; the percent reduction of nymphs was 100.0, 90.0, 75.0 and 65.0%, respectively; and the percent reduction of adults was 85.0, 65.0, 55.0 and 55.0%, respectively. In comparison, in untreated rabbits at the same time points (control group), the percent reduction of larvae was 5.0, 3.3, 5.0 and 5.0%, respectively, and there was no reduction of nymphs and adults in the untreated rabbits.

        <P>In cold pulse experiments in J-TEXT, not only are rapid electron temperature increases in the core observed, but also steep rises in the inner density are found. Moreover, some evidence of acceleration of the core toroidal rotation is also observed during the non-local transport process of electron temperature. These new findings of cold pulse experiments in J-TEXT suggest that turbulence spreading is a possible mechanism for the non-local transport dynamics.</P>
