Jihun Yu,Seokmin Jang,Eunyoung Kim,Raesoo Lim,Hokyeong Kim,Yeohwan Yoon,Jooho Heo 제어로봇시스템학회 2012 제어로봇시스템학회 국제학술대회 논문집 Vol.2012 No.10
The Ship is built through various production processes, operating conditions of ship can be confirmed through various sensors. Using data of these sensors, sailors’re sailing depending on the ship condition in real-time in wheelhouse. To prepare for dangerous situation, VDR(Voyage Data Recorder) is set up on the ship by the IMO rule. That is storing the ship condition data and alarms signal for the reference second, this data is used when the ship accident happens, so this data is very important. But sailor can’t verify that wheelhouse data and VDR data are equal. If the ship accident happens, we have investigated ship situation using only VDR data. But we have no way to determine data was right in that time. In this paper, in order to improve the compatibility of ship status data through the data conversion system. In addition this system is expected to improve reliability about ship.

Contemporary fashion companies have been planning marketing strategies that can promote brands and products more effectively for satisfying consumers’ increasingly diversified needs. For this reason, retail spaces have continued to evolve and the modern concept of pop-up stores appeared through this process. Therefore, the object of this study was to research domestic pop-up fashion store cases by collecting article data. These data are from Internet fashion-specialty sites and analyze the types and characteristics of pop-up fashion stores by providing basic information that will be useful in the pop-up fashion stores of companies when they establish their marketing strategies. This study utilized the content analysis method and derived the results by using SPSS Statistics. As a result of this study, the type of “pop-up fashion stores opening in distribution enterprises” comprised the highest percentage of the whole store types and the pop-up fashion stores’ management purposes were focused on product introduction, promotion, and market testing. As time passed, not only did pop-up fashion stores`` growth rate increased, but also the types of pop-up fashion stores have become more diverse. In other words, contemporary fashion companies are utilizing more pop-up fashion stores as a marketing strategy than before. However, due to the short history of domestic pop-up fashion stores, the variety of research is still insufficient, so more extensive research on pop-up fashion stores is required.

Purpose: Severe abdominal injuries often require immediate clinical assessment and surgical intervention to prevent life-threatening complications. In Jeju Regional Trauma Center, we have instituted a protocol for emergency department (ED) laparotomy at the trauma bay. We investigated the mortality and time taken from admission to ED laparotomy. Methods: We reviewed the data recorded in our center's trauma database between January 2020 and December 2022 and identified patients who underwent laparotomy because of abdominal trauma. Laparotomies that were performed at the trauma bay or the ED were classified as ED laparotomy, whereas those performed in the operating room (OR) were referred to as OR laparotomy. In cases that required expeditious hemostasis, ED laparotomy was performed appropriately. Results: From January 2020 to December 2022, 105 trauma patients admitted to our hospital underwent emergency laparotomy. Of these patients, six (5.7%) underwent ED laparotomy. ED laparotomy was associated with a mortality rate of 66.7% (four of six patients), which was significantly higher than that of OR laparotomy (17.1%, 18 of 99 patients, P=0.006). All the patients who received ED laparotomy also underwent damage control laparotomy. The time between admission to the first laparotomy was significantly shorter in the ED laparotomy group (28.5 minutes; interquartile range [IQR], 14-59 minutes) when compared with the OR laparotomy group (104 minutes; IQR, 88-151 minutes; P<0.001). The two patients who survived after ED laparotomy had massive mesenteric bleeding, which was successfully ligated. The other four patients, who had liver laceration, kidney rupture, spleen injury, and pancreas avulsion, succumbed to the injuries. Conclusions: Although ED laparotomy was associated with a higher mortality rate, the time between admission and ED laparotomy was markedly shorter than for OR laparotomy. Notably, major mesenteric hemorrhages were effectively controlled through ED laparotomy.

We suggest a wearable soft robot for post-stroke, hemiplegic patients’ finger rehabilitation and quantitative evaluations on the joint paralysis. The device consists of a pair of gloves. One measures finger positions of the normal side, and the other induces symmetric movements on the affected side by pneumatic force. Ten patients at Brunnstrom stage 3 and 4 from a local hospital participated in this study. They performed Rolyan Stacking Cones 10 times with and without the support of the soft robot. We measured subjects’ proximal interphalangeal angles and air pressures in the pneumatic glove during the exercise to monitor grab/release patterns. The soft robot helped open their paralyzed finger joints by more than 50 degrees on average regardless of Brunnstrom stages. We applied pattern recognition methods on the measurement to quantitatively evaluate the subjects. A support vector machine revealed a misclassification rate of 20%, implying that there were a considerable number of overlapping data sets near the boundary between Brunnstrom stages. K-means method with three clusters suggested a new subject group near the support vector machine border. Thus, we conclude that our wearable soft robot not only provides grab/release guides to post-stroke patients but also provides quantitative information on their finger paralysis supplementary to the existing qualitative assessments.

( Jihun Gwak ),( Yong-cheol Yoon ),( Min A Lee ),( Byungchul Yu ),( Myung Jin Jang ),( Kang Kook Choi ) 대한외상학회 2016 大韓外傷學會誌 Vol.29 No.4
Purpose: Bleeding is the primary cause of death after severe pelvic fracture. Transcatheter arterial embolization (TAE) is the mainstay of treatment for arterial bleeding. This study aimed to determine the frequency of bleeding by angiography of blush-positive pelvic fractures on computed tomography (CT) images. The bleeding arteries that were involved were investigated by pelvic angiography. Methods: This retrospective cohort study evaluated 83 pelvic fracture patients who were treated in the intensive care unit of the author`s trauma center between January 01, 2013 and April 30, 2015. Results: Overall mortality was 9 of 83 patients (10.8%). Blush was observed in 37 patients; blush-positive patients had significantly higher mortality (24.3%) than blush-negative patients (0%). Twenty-four of the 83 patients (28.9%) underwent pelvic angiography. Bleeding was showed in 22 of 24 patients in pelvic angiography. TAE was successfully performed in 21 (95.5%) of the bleeding 22 patients. Angiography was performed in 23 of 37 blush-positive patients, and arterial bleeding was identified in 21 (91.3%). A total 33 bleeding arteries were identified in 22 angiography-positive patients. The most frequent origin of bleeding was internal iliac artery (69.7%) followed by the external iliac artery (18.2%) and lumbar arteries (12.1%). Conclusion: The vascular blush observed in CT scans indicates sites of ongoing bleeding in pelvic angiography. TAE is an excellent therapeutic option for arterial bleeding and has a high success rate with few complications. [ J Trauma Inj 2016; 29: 161-166 ]
Rectal Injury Associated with Pelvic Fracture
( Jihun Gwak ),( Min A Lee ),( Byungchul Yu ),( Kang Kook Choi ) 대한외상학회 2016 大韓外傷學會誌 Vol.29 No.4
Rectal injury is seen in 1-2% of all pelvic fractures, and lower urinary tract injury occurs in up to 7%. These injuries are rare, but if missed, can lead to a severe septic response. Rectal injury may be suspected by the presence of gross blood on digital rectal examination. However, this classic sign is not always present on physical examination. If an Antero-Posterior Compression type pelvic fracture is seen, we should consider the possibility of rectal and lower urinary tract injury. It is important to define the anatomic location of the rectal injury as it relates to the peritoneal reflection. Trauma to the intraperitoneal rectum should be managed as a colonic injury. Extraperitoneal rectal injury should be managed with fecal diversion regardless of primary repair. We present the case of a 46-year-old man who was referred to our hospital following a major trauma to the pelvis in a pedestrian accident. [ J Trauma Inj 2016; 29: 201-203 ]
