Background The coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic, caused by severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2, has resulted in acute respiratory distress, fatal systemic manifestations (extrapulmonary as well as pulmonary), and premature mortality among many patients. Therapy for COVID-19 has focused on the treatment of symptoms and of acute inflammation (cytokine storm) and the prevention of viral infection. Although the mechanism of COVID-19 is not fully understood, potential clinical targets have been identified for pharmacological, immunological, and vaccinal approaches. Area covered Pharmacological approaches including drug repositioning have been a priority for initial COVID-19 therapy due to the time-consuming nature of the vaccine development process. COVID-19 drugs have been shown to manage the antiviral infection cycle (cell entry and replication of proteins and genomic RNA) and anti-inflammation. In this review, we evaluated the interaction of current COVID-19 drugs with two ATP-binding cassette transporters [P-glycoprotein (P-gp) and breast cancer resistance protein (BCRP)] and potential drug-drug interactions (DDIs) among COVID-19 drugs, especially those associated with P-gp and BCRP efflux transporters. Expert opinion Overall, understanding the pharmacodynamic/pharmacokinetic DDIs of COVID-19 drugs can be useful for pharmacological therapy in COVID-19 patients.

The heavy duty diesel engine must have a large output for maintaining excellent mobility. The compacted graphite iron (CGI) is a material currently under study for the engine demanded for high torque, durability and stiffness. In this study, structural analysis of heavy duty engine were carried out with ABAQUS, and the fatigue analysis was executed with FEMFAT using the result of structural analysis. We considered about three loading condition; pre-fit load, assembly load, gas load. Safety factors were investigated by assuming the engine was operated under 2ㆍ10? cycles following the gas loading condition.

This paper is studied for hydraulic characteristics in a 40cm×40cm rectangular section of horizontal channel apparatus with a side slope of the embankment-shaped weirs are 1V:2H and the crest lengths of model are 0, 100, 200, and 400mm, respectively. The study are analyzed experimentally surface profiles, velocity and pressure distributions with crest length and discharge variation in approach channel, weir crest, downstream channel, and tailwater reaches by controlling to submergence ratio using tail gate of the model weirs. Also, the modular limit separable free and submerged overflow is derived as a function of relative crest length using the experimental data obtained from the weir models. The relationship can be used classified of flow types in embankment-shaped weirs.
전자파 표면유속계의 성능시험을 통한 수심평균유속 환산계수

This study is determined a optimum conditions of instrument operations estimated a conversion factor of depth-averaged velocity (DAVCF) in puting a DAVCF to practical use through the performance tests of a electromagnetic wave surface velocimeter (EWSVM). As a result the of a EWSVM show excellent in comparison with water-submerged current meters for a peculiarity of mechanical and a capacity at laboratory and field tests. It show in case of a facile operations of vertical angle and declination as well as a convenience of measured method at performance tests. The DAVCF values showed 0.735∼0.872 for variations of vertical angle when restrictive conditions are medium velocity and bed material of clay, and the mean value showed 0.795 similar to a case a declination 30˚ and a vertical angle 20˚.
결정화 거동이 SLS 3-D 프린팅 가공 특성에 미치는 영향

나일론과 폴리케톤의 결정화 거동에 따른 열적 특성과 치수안정성 변화가 SLS(selective laser sintering) 3-D 프린팅 가공 특성에 미치는 영향을 살펴보았다. 기핵제 첨가에 의하여 냉 결정화 온도 증가, 결정화도 및 결정 크기감소와 같은 결정화 거동의 변화를 확인하였다. 냉 결정화 온도 증가는 융융 온도와 냉 결정화 온도의 차이로 나타내는 SLS 3-D 프린팅의 가공 윈도우 감소를 초래하나 결정화도 및 결정 크기 감소에 따른 치수안정성을 증가시킨다. 그 결과 SLS 3-D 프린팅 융착 공정에 의하여 만들어지는 성형 층의 균일성을 향상시켜 반복적인 적층을 위한 분말 슬라이싱 공정에 있어서 치수 변형에 따른 문제점을 최소화할 수 있음을 확인하였다. The effect of crystallization behavior, which caused the change of thermal properties and dimensional stability in nylon and polyketone, on the characteristics of SLS (selective laser sintering) 3-D printing process was studied. The increase of cold crystallization temperature and lowering of crystallinity and crystallite size were found by addition of nucleation agent. As a result, the processing window for SLS 3- D printing which was defined by the difference between melting temperature and cold crystallization temperature was narrowed. However, this caused the enhancement of dimensional stability in the layer made by laser sintering process and it was expected that the powder stacking difficulty due to the distortion of layer may be minimized in the repeated slicing process in SLS 3-D printing.
