<P>We studied hydrogen adsorption onto the oxidized nano-palladium surface using <SUP>1</SUP>H NMR. In the α phase, the incoming hydrogen molecules dissociate and form OH<SUB>ad</SUB>. We confirm that the <img SRC='http://ej.iop.org/images/0953-8984/18/13/001/cm210477ieqn1.gif' ALIGN='MIDDLE' ALT='\mathrm {OH_{ad}} \rightarrow \mathrm {H_2O}(\uparrow) '/> transformation occurs during the α–β phase transition by observing a decrease in OH<SUB>ad</SUB> resonance intensity.</P>

The design methodology of the sluice caisson structure is one of important factor that is closely related to the efficiency in tidal power generation. When the sluice caisson is designed to maximize the water discharge capability, it is possible to minimize the number of sluice caissons for attaining the water amount required for achieving the target power generation, which results in reduction of the construction cost for the sluice caisson structure. The discharge capability of sluice caisson is dependent on the geometrical conditions of an apron structure which is placed in both sides of the sluice caisson. In this study, we investigated numerically the variation of water discharge capability of sluice caisson according to the geometrical conditions of apron. Flow fields are simulated with FLOW-3D software using VOF method.

The brake test during mountain descent is very important validation procedure at Car makers. Especially, in case of Korea car makers, They have designed the brake that was not occurred the vapor lock during Mt.Chiri descent with braking for Korea customers. Vapor lock is the dangerous phenomenon for driver and passengers who are driving on winding road at mountain. It makes driver can"t stop the vehicle due that the brake fluid cannot transmit the brake line pressure in brake pipe from brake pedal to brake pads/linings in brake calipers / drum brakes. So, This brake test is essential a vehicle test procedure. This paper is based on Wearpro software was made by GM. and Brake Conner FE model analysis in order to predict the brake fluid temperature rise during Mt.Chiri descent. and To improve reliability of vehicle simulation model, We found brake dyno test is very helpful. and this paper is good approach concept for brake development such as saving cost and reducing development timing at beginning of Car project without vehicle level test by Brake CAE and Lab tests.
계란 난황 레시틴 추출 부산물이 사료 내 Ca 함량을 조절한 산란계의 생산성과 Ca 흡수에 미치는 영향

본 연구에서는 산란계의 in vivo실험을 통하여 난황 레시틴 추출 부산물이 산란계의 뼈의 Ca 침착과 성장에 도움을 줄 수 있다는 결과를 얻었다. 산란계 전기 사료에 Ca의 수준을 0%, 0.2%, 0.4%, 0.6%로 조절하여 실험한 결과 증체량에서 0%, 0.2% Ca을 첨가한 그룹의 증체량은 유의적으로 감소하였으나 0.4%, 0.6% 첨가 그룹에서는 정상적인 성장율을 확인하였다. 반면에 0.4% Ca을 첨가한 그룹에 레시틴 추출 부산물을 0.2%, 0.4% 첨가한 그룹에서 각각 1.5%, 7.1%로 증가하여 농도의존적으로 증가하는 경향을 보였으나 유의한 차이는 없었다. 실제 산란계의 경골을 적출하여 중량, 회분, Ca의 함량을 조사한 결과 경골 중량에서는 0.4% Ca 첨가그룹에 비해 레시틴 추출 부산물을 추가로 첨가한 그룹에서 각각 8.4%, 13.4%로 증가하는 경향을 확인하였다. 회분량에서도 0.4% 첨가 그룹에 비해 레시틴 추출 부산물 첨가그룹에서 증가하였지만, 유의한 차이는 없었다. 경골내의 Ca 함량을 조사한 결과는 0.4% Ca 첨가그룹에 비해 레시틴 추출 부산물이 4.3%, 5.9%가 각각 유의한 경향으로 증가하였다. 경골에 실제로 Ca이 흡수되었는가를 확인하기 위하여 lateral femoral joint 부분을 von Kossa’s stain을 실행한 결과 Ca 결핍 그룹에서 Ca 축적이 현저히 감소한 것을 확인한 반면, 그 외 그룹에서는 Ca이 충분히 침착되어 있었으며 산란계 사료내의 적정Ca 함량이 0.4%라는 것을 다시 한번 확인하였다. 본 연구에서는 계란 난황의 레시틴 추출 부산물의 단백질 분획 소재를 이용하여 뼈 성장 촉진 인자 및 Ca 흡수촉진 보조제로서의 가능성을 보여줬으며, 그 기대를 높이기 위해 혈액분석, 측정항목의 세분화 등 반복적인 연구가 수반되어야 하겠다. A 3-weeks feeding trial with 288 laying hens were conducted to determine the efficacy of lecithin-free egg yolk at different levels of dietary Ca on performance and Ca absorption. Laying hens were divided into 6 groups according to calcium level and testing agent; 0% calcium feed (A), 0.2% calcium feed (B), 0.4% calcium feed (C, normal feed), 0.6% calcium feed (D), 0.4% calcium feed + 0.2% egg byproduct (C+ 0.2), 0.4% calcium feed + 0.4% egg byproduct (C+0.4). The final body weight gain of C+0.2 and C+0.4 groups were higher by 1.5% and 7.4% respectively than group C. Tibia ash contents did not show significantly difference, but calcium contents increase (p<0.05) in C+0.2 and C+0.4 groups. Parallel undecalcified tibia joint sections were stained for calcium absorption by the von Kossa’s stain. This result show that lecithin free egg byproduct supplementation to normal calcium feed improved growth performance and calcium utilization in laying hens.
