      • 직교 로봇을 이용한 3차원 자기장 매핑시스템 구현

        본 논문은 자기장의 측정이 필요한 임의 공간에서 자기장을 자동으로 신속하고, 정확하게 측정하는 자기장 매핑시스템을 직교로봇을 이용하여 구현하고자 한다. 사람의 손에 의해 한 점 한 점 측정하던 자기장을 범용 직교로봇에 자기장 센서를 부착하고, NI사의 LabVIEW를 사용하여 작성된 User Interface에 입력된 값으로 측정범위를 일정한 간격으로 나누어 각 점들의 자기장을 자동으로 측정한다. 수동으로 자기장을 측정하던 종래의 방식을 벗어나 자동으로 자기장을 측정함으로 일관되고 빠른 측정은 물론 각 점에서 얻어진 데이터를 이용하여 성분별 파일을 생성함과 동시에 각 성분별 3차원 분포를 그래프로 나타낼 수 있도록 한다. In this paper, it will be embody magnetic field mapping system that automatically measure rapid and accurate by using cartesian coordinate robot from the optional space that measurement is necessary. The magnetic field, which is used to be measured individually by human's hand, is attached the magnetic sensor on cartesian coordinate robot and measure automatically the magnetic field with the input value of User interface programmed by using LabVIEW of Ni(National Instrument Corp.) by dividing the measure range into the regular gap. Measuring the magnetic field automatically instead of the previous method which is measuring manually make it possible to measure coherency and fastly. It is possible that the file of each component can be produced, and the 3-dimension graph of each component can be displayed on the monitor by using the data of component obtained from each point

At a discontinuous coarse-fine mesh interface, the boundary conditions for the tangential and normal field components are enforced for a smooth transition of highly nonuniform field quantities.

        두 기능을 갖는 차량검지 레이다

        본 논문에서는 현재 도로상에서 이용되고 있는 루프감지기 체계와 호환성을 가지는 두 종류의 레이더 기술을 이용한 차량감지기를 개발하였다. 이 두 종류는 24 GHz의 FMCW 고도계와 도플러 속도계 기술을 이용하여 도로상의 차량의 길이와 속도정보를 알아낼 수 있는 비매설형의 차량감지기이다. 신호처리에는 DAQ 보드를 사용하였고, 응용소프트웨어인 Labview로 프로그래밍 하였다. 기존의 루프감지기와 연결된 교통정보 네트윅과의 호환성을 위해 RS-232C 표준 인터페이스를 이용하여 VDS (Vechicle Detector System) 로 차량 관련 데이터를 전송하였다. 속도와 차량길이 정보의 정확도에 있어서 기존 루프감지기를 실험장에 설치한 결과보다 약 10% 정도 향상되었음이 측정되었다. In this study, two types of radar vehicle detectors compatible with currently being used ILD(Inductive Loop Detector) without any modification has been developed. With these vehicle detectors based on FMCW altimeter and Doppler speedometer techniques at 24 GHz, the length and speed of a vehicle can be detected. For signal processing part, we have used DAQ board and programmed with LabView. For compatibility with traffic information network connected with existing ILD's, traffic information has been sent to VDS by using RS-232C standard interface. This development has improved approximately 10% in accuracy in terms of the speed and length information compared with that of the installed ILD in the test field.

        The mobility of hosts causes various challenges and problems in designing distributed algorithm, and traditional causal ordering algorithms are not suitable to mobile hosts. This paper presents a simple and efficient algorithm that all messages are sent and delivered in causal order. Also, the algorithm has the low costs of computation and wireless communication.

        평면 다수 입출력 전력 분배/결합회로의 2 GHz에서의 구조 수정 연구

        본 논문에서는 하나의 입력과 다수의 출력을 가지는 [10]에서에서 제시한 평면 Taper 형의 전력 분배/결합기를 2GHz대역에서 수정한 구조를 제안한다. 제안하는ㄱ n조의 전기적 특성을 결정하는 파라메터들을 HFSS시뮬레이션을 이용하여 분석하였다. 입력 정합 그리고 각 출력 단에서 출력 신호의 균형과 위상의 선형성을 위해 회로의중앙에 하나의 원형 모양을 애칭 제거하였다. 또 본 논문에서 제안한 구조의 1:2와 1:3의 전력 분배/결합기외 [10]의 구조와 S-Parameter를 비교?분석하였다. 결과적으로 본 연구에서 제시하는 수정된 형태를 적용할 경우 기존의 전력 분배/결합기의 반사손실 특성이 2 GHz에서 20dB이상 개선되었고 대역폭 또한 증가되는 것을 확인하였다. In this paper, tapered shape of multiport power divider/combiner modified for 2 GHz range from the model published by [10] is proposed. Parameters determining electrical property of the circuit structure have been analyzed by HFSS simulation. For input matching, balance of output signals and phase linearity at each output port, one circular hole has been etched out on the circuit surface. 1:2 and 1:3 power dividers/combiners designed by this study have been compared with the same circuits designed by the method of [10] in terms of S-parameters. As a result, it has been found that the modified structure of power divider/combiner have improved return loss more than 20 dB and another 18 dB, respectively, at 2 GHz.

        사육환경에 따른 이매패류 (Crassostrea gigas, Mytilus galloprovincialis)의 외부형질 성장과 Heat Shock Protein 70 유전자 발현

        연안의 다양한 환경변화는 서식 생물에 영향을 미치고, 양식장의 생산량 감소와 연결되고 있는 추세이다. 본 연구에서는 가막만의 대표적인 양식종인 패류 C. gigas와 M. galloprovincialis의 서식환경에 따른 스트레스 정도를 파악하고자 하였다. 이를 위해, 각 종의 체중량, 각장과 각고, 양식장 사육기간을 조사하고, 각 종의 계통학적 HSP 70 sequence를 비교한 후, 각 종의 HSP 70 유전자 발현을 분석하였다. 그 결과, C. gigas의 체중량, 각장과 각고는 C2 양식장이 높게 나타났으나, 양식장 환경 사육기간과 HSP 70 유전자 발현은 C3 양식장이 가장 높았다. M. galloprovincialis는 M1 양식장의 체중량이 높게 나타났으며 각장과 각고, 사육기간은 M2와 유사하였으나, HSP 70 유전자 발현은 M2 양식장이 통계적으로 유의한 수준으로 높게 나타났다. 그리고 C. gigas와 M. galloprovincialis의 HSP 70 sequence 분석을 통해서 다른 해양 종들과 높은 유사성이 있음을 확인하였다. 이 결과는 서식환경에 따라 생물의 외부적 형질뿐만 아니라 내부적 스트레스를 HSP 70 유전자 발현을 통하여 파악할 수 있으며 HSP 70은 외부환경 스트레스를 평가하는 지표 유전자로서 활용할 수 있을 것이다. Environmental changes exert harmful effects on organisms inhabiting coastal regions. These changes are also associated with reduced production in aquaculture farms. In this study, we investigated internal and external responses of two Bivalvia species (Crassostrea gigas and Mytilus galloprovincialis) in Gamak Bay under stressful environmental conditions in aquaculture farms. We investigated external responses such as weight, size, and environment exposure time, and analyzed the expression of the HSP70 gene. C. gigas HSP70 gene expression level was significantly high in the C3 aquaculture farm site, but the weight and size of C. gigas were high in the C2 aquaculture farm site. The response of C. gigas HSP70 mRNA was associated with the environmental exposure time in each aquaculture farm. Expression of M. galloprovincialis HSP70 gene was found to be significantly higher in the M2 aquaculture farm site than in the M1 site, whereas the weight of M. galloprovincialis was observed to be higher in the M1 site. The size and environmental exposure time of M. galloprovincialis were similar between M1 and M2 sites. In addition, HSP70 sequences of C. gigas and M. galloprovincialis showed high similarity with that of another marine species. According to our results, there were differences in internal responses following environmental stress in aquaculture farms, with respect to HSP70 gene expression. The results suggest that the HSP70 gene is a useful molecular indicator for monitoring stress responses in Bivalvia species in the field.

      • Scanning of genetic effects of alcohol metabolism gene (ADH1B and ADH1C) polymorphisms on the risk of alcoholism

        <P>Alcoholism is a multifactorial and polygenic disorder involving complex gene-to-gene and gene-to-environment interactions. Alcohol metabolism is one of the biological determinants that could significantly be influenced by genetic polymorphisms in alcohol-metabolism genes. These genetic polymorphisms are believed to influence drinking behavior and development of alcoholism. Direct DNA sequencing of whole ADH1B and ADH1C genes revealed 36 sequence variants, including six nonsynonymous and 14 novel polymorphisms. Seventeen polymorphisms among them were selected for genotyping in a larger study (n=352) based on linkage disequilibria (LDs) among SNPs, locations, and frequencies. Hardy-Weinberg equilibrium (HWE) analyses of polymorphisms revealed severe deviations only in alcoholics, which strongly suggest that a selection bias (or pressure) may be involved. The analyses of genotype distribution in alcoholics (n=106) and normal controls (n=246) showed dramatic associations with the risk of alcoholism. Fourteen polymorphisms in ADH1C and ADH1B showed a series of different strengths of association and magnitudes of risk. Based on referent and subgroup analysis, it was strongly suggested that the genetic effects come from the ADH1B*47Arg/*47Arg genotype, and that the positive signals from other sites are just tracking the genetic effect of ADH1B His47Arg. In this article we present summaries of previous studies and of the present study, to give an overview of the worldwide effects of ADH1B His47Arg on the risk of alcoholism. The information derived from this study could be valuable for understanding the genetic factors involved in the risk of alcoholism and facilitate further investigation in other ethnic groups.         실내종 Chironomus riparious와 야외종 Chironomus plumosus의 중금속 노출에 따른 분자지표 유 전자 발현

        Chironomous is aquatic insect belonging to order Diptera, family Chironomidae. Their larval stage can be found mainly in aquatic benthic environment, hence good model organism to study environmental toxicology assessments and consider as useful bio indicators of contamination of the aquatic environment. In this study, Chironomus Heat Shock Proteins, Cytochrome 450, Glutathione S-transferase, Serine-type endopeptidase gene expressions were compared between polluted field areas (Chironomus plumosus) and under laboratory conditions (Chironomus riparious) to investigate molecular indicators for environmental contaminant stress assessment. Heavy metal (Al, Fe, Mn, Cu, Cr, Zn, Se, Pb, As, Cd) concentrations in sediments collected from three study areas exceeded the reference values. Moreover, HSPs, CYP450 and GST gene expression except SP for C. plumosus showed higher expression than C. riparious gene expression. Similar gene expression pattern was observed in C. riparious that exposed environment waters up to 96 h when compared to C. plumosus exposed to waters that grown in lab conditions. In summary, this comparative gene expression analysis in Chironomous between field and laboratory condition gave useful information to select candidate molecular indicators in heavy metal contaminations in the environment.

        Ciglitazone, a Peroxisome Proliferator-Activated Receptor Gamma Ligand, Inhibits Proliferation and Differentiation of Th17 Cells

        Peroxisome proliferator-activated receptor gamma (PPARg) was identified as a cell-intrinsic regulator of Th17 cell differentiation. Th17 cells have been associated with several autoimmune diseases, including experimental autoimmune encephalomyelitis (EAE), inflammatory bowel disease (IBD), and collagen-induced arthritis. In this study, we confirmed PPARg-mediated inhibition of Th17 cell differentiation and cytokine production at an early stage. Treatment with ciglitazone, a PPARg ligand, reduced both IL-1b-mediated enhancement of Th17 differentiation and activation of Th17 cells after polarization. For Th17 cell differentiation, we found that ciglitazone-treated cells had a relatively low proliferative activity and produced a lower amount of cytokines, regardless of the presence of IL-1b. The inhibitory activity of ciglitazone might be due to decrease of CCNB1 expression, which regulates the cell cycle in T cells. Hence, we postulate that a pharmaceutical PPARg activator might be a potent candidate for treatment of Th17-mediated autoimmune disease patients.
