        한국신약학 50년의 회고와 전망 : 공관복음 연구

        본 소고는 한국신약학회 50주년을 맞이하여 공관복음 연구의 반세기를 되돌아보면서 한국신약학의 미래를 전망해본다. 따라서 본 소고는 공관복음에 있어서의 마가복음, 마태복음, 누가복음과 Q에 관한 한국신약학계의 연구들을 회고하고 이어서 공관복음의 주요 주제인 역사적 예수와 하나님나라 및 비유의 연구사를 간략히 언급한다. 한국신약학계의 1세대 학자들(안병무, 전경연, 채위)의 선각적 혜안과 건실한 연구가 밑거름이 되었기에 한국신약학 50년의 역사를 꽃피울 수가 있었다. 그들의 초기 작업은 건실할 뿐만 아니라 정확히 맥을 잡고 있어서 한국신약학계가 나아갈 길을 밝혔다. 안병무를 필두로 한 한신대의 역사적 예수와 하나님 나라에 대한 지속적 관심은 역사적 예수와 하나님 나라를 묵시적 관점에서 바라보는 김창락, 김명수를 거쳐 일관되게 흐를 뿐만 아니라, 한국 토양에서 예수의 복음이 무엇을 의미하는지에 대한 해석학적 관심을 분명하게 표명하고 있다. 이후 김득중, 박수암, 김창락, 최갑종에 의한 구미의 학문적 연구에 대한 활발한 소개와 학문적 업적은 공관복음 연구에 있어서 세계적 흐름과의 소통을 가능하게 했고, 한 걸음 더나아가 한국신약학계에서의 구별된 목소리와 다양한 전문적인 연구의 버팀목이 되었다. 2000년 이후의 한국신약학계의 주도적인 관심은 세계적인 추세와 발맞춰 본문과 독자 사이를 연결하는 형태의 해석학적 노력과 역사적 예수 연구에로의 노력으로 경주되고 있다. 이러한 해석학적 시도는 서구중심적인 성서해석에 대한 대위법적 읽기로서의 탈식민주의(postcolonial) 비평과 문화분석적 비평을 제안하고 있다. 동시에 한국문화와 성서를 연결하고, 그 간격을 메우며 한국적 시각으로 성서연구에 기여할 수 있는 길을 모색한다. 한국신약학계의 이러한 노력이 무엇보다도 ‘민중생명신학’에 대한 담론과 ‘생기의 해석학’에 대한 관심으로 드러나고 있다는 점은 매우 시사적이고 고무적이다. In commemoration of the 50th anniversary of the New Testament Society of Korea (following NTSK) this study retrospects the history of the New Testament scholarship in Korea and prospects the future of New Testament scholarship. Thus it probes the studies of Mark, Matthew, Luke, and Q in the history of New Testament scholarship in Korea. It also investigates the history of research on the historical Jesus, kingdom of God, and parables. The first generation of the NTSK, such as Byung Moo Ahn, Kyung Yeon Jeon, We Chae pioneered the history of the New Testament studies with their foresight. They laid the foundation firmly and threw some light upon the New Testament studies in Korea. The line of Korea Theological Study Institute represented by Byung Moo Ahn centered on the studies of the historical Jesus and Kingdom of God from the perspective of apocalypticism and Mingjung Theology. They has shown the consistent hermeneutical concern for the meaning of the Gospel in the soil of Korea. The next generation of the scholarship represented by Deuk Joong Kim, Soo Am Park, Chang Rak Kim, and Gab Jong Choi has made great contribution to the development of New Testament studies in Korea. They introduced and applied the historical-critical methods to the New testament studies and enabled new testament students to interact with the academia around the world. Further they buttressed the distinctive voice of the NTSK in the various field of the New Testament scholarship over the world. In the 2000s the NTSK shows the hermeneutical concern for the connection between the text and reader and for the historical Jesus. Such hermeneutical concerns suggest the postcolonial and culture analytical reading to counterpoint the western biblical interpretation. At the same time it tries to connect the Bible and the Korean culture and to contribute to the biblical interpretation from the perspective of the Koreans. It is very suggestive and inspiring for the New Testament scholarship to engage in the theological discourse of “Minsjung life” and “full of life.”

        Methylobacterium terrae sp. nov., a radiation-resistant bacterium isolated from gamma ray-irradiated soil

        A Gram-stain-negative, asporogenous, aerobic rods, motile by means of a single polar flagellum, catalase- and oxidase-positive, methylotrophic bacterium, designated 17Sr1-28T, was isolated from gamma ray-irradiated soil. The 16S rRNA gene sequence analysis showed that strain 17Sr1-28T was phylogenetically related to Methylobacterium currus PR1016AT (96.8%), Methylobacterium platani PMB02T (96.2%), Methylobacterium aquaticum DSM 16371T (96.3%), Methylobacterium tarhaniae N4211T (96.4%), Methylobacterium frigidaeris IER25-16T (95.8%), and Methylobacterium organophilum JCM 2833T (92.7%). The G+C content calculated based on genome sequence was 71.6%. The average nucleotide identity and in silico DNA-DNA hybridization values between strain 17Sr1- 28T and M. currus, M. platani, M. aquaticum, M. tarhaniae, M. frigidaeris, and M. organophilum were 77.7–90.4% and 22–39.6%, respectively. The major fatty acids of strain 17Sr1- 28T were summed feature 8 (C18:1 ω7c and/or C18:1 ω6c), and summed feature 3 (C16:1 ω7c and/or C16:1 ω6c). The predominant quinone was ubiquinone 10 and the major polar lipids were diphosphatidylglycerol, phosphatidylcholine, phosphatidylethanolamine, and phosphatidylglycerol. On the basis of the data from phenotypic tests and genotypic differences between strain 17Sr1-28T and its close phylogenetic relatives, strain 17Sr1-28T represents a new species belonging to the genus Methylobacterium, for which the name Methylobacterium terrae sp. nov. (= KCTC 52904T = NBRC 112873T) is proposed.

        A 0.6-V Delta–Sigma Modulator With Subthreshold-Leakage Suppression Switches

        <P>A 0.6-V 34-mu W delta-sigma modulator implemented by using a standard 0.13-mu m complementary metal-oxide-semiconductor technology is presented. This brief analyzes a subthreshold-leakage current problem in switched-capacitor circuits and proposes subthreshold-leakage suppression switches to solve the problem. To verify the operation of the subthreshold-leakage suppression switches, two different fifth-order delta-sigma modulators are implemented with conventional switches and new switches. The input feedforward architecture is used to reduce the voltage swings of the integrators. A high-performance low-quiescent amplifier architecture is developed for the modulator. The modulator, with new switches, achieves a dynamic range of 83 dB, a peak signal-to-noise ratio of 82 dB, and a peak signal-to-noise-plus-distortion ratio of 81 dB in a signal bandwidth of 20 kHz. The power consumption is 34 mu W for the modulator, and the core chip size is 0.33 mm(2).</P>

        Pitfall of bispectral index during intraoperative seizure -a case report-

        We report a case of a 42-year-old male who developed generalized tonic-clonic seizure with sudden, brief decrease in bispectral index (BIS) value while undergoing emergency kidney transplantation. Few reports have been made on intraoperative pitfall of BIS value associated with seizure. This case report suggests seizure should be taken into account as a reason for such brief fall of BIS, especially while under general anesthesia or in other specific cases in which clinical signs of seizure are unseen.

      • High-Frequency Scalable Electrical Model and Analysis of a Through Silicon Via (TSV)

        <P>We propose a high-frequency scalable electrical model of a through silicon via (TSV). The proposed model includes not only the TSV, but also the bump and the redistribution layer (RDL), which are additional components when using TSVs for 3-D integrated circuit (IC) design. The proposed model is developed with analytic <I>RLGC</I> equations derived from the physical configuration. Each analytic equation is proposed as a function of design parameters of the TSV, bump, and RDL, and is therefore, scalable. The scalability of the proposed model is verified by simulation from the 3-D field solver with parameter variations, such as TSV diameter, pitch between TSVs, and TSV height. The proposed model is experimentally validated through measurements up to 20 GHz with fabricated test vehicles of a TSV channel, which includes TSVs, bumps, and RDLs. Based on the proposed scalable model, we analyze the electrical behaviors of a TSV channel with design parameter variations in the frequency domain. According to the frequency-domain analysis, the capacitive effect of a TSV is dominant under 2 GHz. On the other hand, as frequency increases over 2 GHz, the inductive effect from the RDLs becomes significant. The frequency dependent loss of a TSV channel, which is capacitive and resistive, is also analyzed in the time domain by eye-diagram measurements. Due to the frequency dependent loss, the voltage and timing margins decrease as the data rate increases.</P>

        의미 기반의 XML 키워드 검색을 위한 효율적인 인덱스 구조

        XML 키워드 검색에서의 검색 결과는 일반적으로 질의 키워드를 모두 포함하는 원소 중 가장 구체적 원소들로 정의된다. 키워드 검색의 정확도 향상을 위하여 XML 원소의 레이블과 온톨로지, 개념모델, 시소러스 등의 의미 정보가 사용되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 의미 정보를 이용하여 검색 결과로 반환가능한 개념들이 정의되고 사용자가 검색하려는 개념이 해석 가능할 경우 효율적 질의 처리를 위한 계층인덱스를 제안한다. 계층 인덱스는 각 키워드 포스팅의 XML 원소들을 원소가 속한 개념들의 상하 관계에 따라 구별하여 저장하고, 검색 결과 산출 가능성이 있는 개념에 속한 원소들만을 선별적으로 읽어서 제한된 조합으로 질의 결과 후보가 되는 최소 공통 선조들을 산출할 수 있도록 한다. 본 논문에서는 계층 인덱스의 구성 원리와 구성 방법, 계층 인덱스를 이용한 질의 처리 방법을 기술한다. DBLP의 XML문서와 INEX2003의 XML 문서 집합을 이용한 실험에서 의미 기반 계층 인덱스는 우수한 성능을 나타내었다. Search results of XML keyword search are defined generally as the most specific elements containing all query keywords in the literature. The labels of XML elements and semantic information such as ontology, conceptual model, thesaurus, and so on, are used to improve the preciseness of the search results. This paper presents a hierarchical index for an efficient XML keyword query processing on the condition that returnable search concepts are defined and users’ query concepts can be interpreted with the help of the semantic information. The hierarchical index separately stores the XML elements containing a keyword on the basis of the hierarchical relations of the concepts that the XML elements belong to, and makes it possible to obtain least common ancestors, which are candidates for the search results, with selectively reading the elements belonging to the concepts relevant to query concepts and without considering all the combinations of the elements having been read. This paper deals with how to organize the hierarchical index and how to process XML keyword queries with the index. In our experiment with the DBLP XML document and the XML documents in the INEX2003 test set, the hierarchical index worked well.

        Development of a Novel ATP Bioluminescence Assay Based on Engineered Probiotic Saccharomyces boulardii Expressing Firefly Luciferase

        Quantitative analysis of adenosine triphosphate (ATP) has been widely used as a diagnostic tool in the food and medical industries. Particularly, the pathogenesis of a few diseases including inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) is closely related to high ATP concentrations. A bioluminescent D-luciferin/luciferase system, which includes a luciferase (FLuc) from the firefly Photinus pyralis as a key component, is the most commonly used method for the detection and quantification of ATP. Here, instead of isolating FLuc produced in recombinant Escherichia coli, we aimed to develop a whole-cell biocatalyst system that does not require extraction and purification of FLuc. To this end, the gene coding for FLuc was introduced into the genome of probiotic Saccharomyces boulardii using the CRISPR/Cas9-based genome editing system. The linear relationship (r2 = 0.9561) between ATP levels and bioluminescence generated from the engineered S. boulardii expressing FLuc was observed in vitro. To explore the feasibility of using the engineered S. boulardii expressing FLuc as a whole-cell biosensor to detect inflammation biomarker (i.e., ATP) in the gut, a colitis mouse model was established using dextran sodium sulfate as a colitogenic compound. Our findings demonstrated that the whole-cell biosensor can detect elevated ATP levels during gut inflammation in mice. Therefore, the simple and powerful method developed herein could be applied for non-invasive IBD diagnosis.

      • Modeling and Analysis of Through-Silicon Via (TSV) Noise Coupling and Suppression Using a Guard Ring

        <P>In three-dimensional integrated circuit (3D-IC) systems that use through-silicon via (TSV) technology, a significant design consideration is the coupling noise to or from a TSV. It is important to estimate the TSV noise transfer function and manage the noise-tolerance budget in the design of a reliable 3D-IC system. In this paper, a TSV noise coupling model is proposed based on a three-dimensional transmission line matrix method (3D-TLM). Using the proposed TSV noise coupling model, the noise transfer functions from TSV to TSV and TSV to the active circuit can be precisely estimated in complicated 3D structures, including TSVs, active circuits, and shielding structures such as guard rings. To validate the proposed model, a test vehicle was fabricated using the Hynix via-last TSV process. The proposed model was successfully verified by frequency- and time-domain measurements. Additionally, a noise isolation technique in 3D-IC using a guard ring structure is proposed. The proposed noise isolation technique was also experimentally demonstrated; it provided -17 dB and -10dB of noise isolation between the TSV and an active circuit at 100 MHz and 1 GHz, respectively.</P>

      • An Experimental Study on Two Stratified Fluids with A Lower Cooling Surface

        Two stratified fluids (water and spindle oil) in aspect ratio o 1 to 1 were studied experimently with the variation of an initial temperature and a cooling surface temperature in a square cavity with a lower cooling surface. As an initial temperature and a cooling surface temperature were varied, the supercooling phenomenon was observed. As soon as a supercooling phenomenon was fininshed, a latent heat was emitted. It was investigated the range of the temperature of spindle oil which was increased with the influence of the latent heat. when the initial tmperature was low, the temperature of spindle oil was increased up to the upper part of the test section. In other case, the temperature of spindle oil was increased up to the center of that oil.
