Usability Tests with a Virtual Arthroscopic Surgery Simulator

Arthroscopic surgery is one of the most difficult surgeries, so even if an orthopedic resident trains a lot, it is difficult to perform surgery well. In addition, a resident does not have many opportunities to perform surgery before becoming a licensed orthopedist. In order to help train residents, we created a virtual arthroscopic surgery simulator. Our goal is to improve the residents’ surgical proficiency in repairing rotator cuff tears and Bankart lesions. We carried out nine usability tests with an orthopedist, and are improving the simulator based on the results.
mRNA vaccines: the most recent clinical applications of synthetic mRNA

Synthetic mRNA has been considered as anemerging biotherapeutic agent for the past decades. Recently,the SARS-CoV-2 pandemic has led to the fi rst clinical useof synthetic mRNA. mRNA vaccines showed far surpassinginfl uences on the public as compared to other vaccine platformssuch as viral vector vaccines and recombinant proteinvaccines. It allowed rapid development and production ofvaccines that have never been achieved in history. SyntheticmRNA, called in vitro transcribed (IVT) mRNA, is the keycomponent of mRNA vaccines. It has several advantagesover conventional gene-expressing systems such as plasmidDNA and viral vectors. It can translate proteins in the cytoplasmby structurally resembling natural mRNA and exhibitvarious protein expression patterns depending on how it isengineered. Another advantage is that synthetic mRNA enablesfast, scalable, and cost-eff ective production. Therefore,starting with the mRNA vaccine, synthetic mRNA is nowin the spotlight as a promising new drug development agent. In this review, we will summarize the latest IVT mRNAtechnology such as new mRNA structures or large-scale production. In addition, the nature of the innate immunogenicityof IVT mRNA will be discussed along with its roles inthe development of vaccines. Finally, the principles of the mRNA vaccine and the future direction of synthetic mRNAwill be provided.
노후소득보장을 위한 공적연금의 적정성과 재정안정성에 대한 전망

본 연구에서는 공적연금의 급여 적정성 제고 방안들을 제시하고, 동태적 미시 모의실험 모형인 DOSA(Dynamic micro-simulation Outlook model for Social policy Analysis, ver.1.2)를 활용하여 각 방안들이 노후 소득과 연금 재정에 미치는 영향에 대하여 검토하였다. 주요 결과 및 시사점은 다음과 같다. 첫째, 현행 공적연금 제도 하에서는 장기적으로 대부분의 노인이 공적연금만으로는 최소한의 노후소득도 마련하기 힘들 것으로 전망된다. 둘째, 국민연금의 소득대체율 인상만으로는 미래의 노인 빈곤이 획기적으로 완화될 것으로 기대하기 어렵다고 판단된다. 셋째, 소득대체율의 인상과 함께 기초연금을 국민연금과 독립적으로 운영하고 기초연금액을 A값과 연동한다면 공적연금의 노인빈곤 완화 효과가 사회적으로 의미있는 수준에 도달할 것으로 기대할 수 있다. 하지만, 이 경우 기초연금 운영에 소요되는 재정 부담이 장기적으로 상당히 클 수 있다는 점에서 신중한 접근이 요구된다. 넷째, 소득대체율 인상이 국민연금의 장기적인 재정에 미치는 영향은 그리 크지 않을 것으로 판단된다. 국민연금의 장기적인 재정 부담은 소득대체율 인상 폭에 따라 차이가 있지만 점진적인 보험료율 인상(30년간 2~6%p)을 통해 충분히 감당할 수 있을 것으로 평가된다. In this study, we propose ways to raise the adequacy of public pension benefits and examine the impact of each measure on old age income and the public pension finance using a dynamic microsimulation model, DOSA. The main results are as follows. First, under the current public pension system, most elderly people will not be guaranteed a minimum income level by public pension. Second, it is difficult to dramatically reduce the poverty of the elderly in the future simply by increasing the replacement rate. Third, the elderly poverty can be greatly reduced by raising the income replacement rate, operating the basic pension independently of the national pension, and increasing the amount of basic pension in conjunction with the A value. However, a careful approach is required because the basic pension will incur considerable financial burden in the long run. Fourth, the impact of the replacement rate increase on the long - term sustainability of national pension system was not significant. The financial burdens of national pension system due to the increase in the replacement rate can be fully offset by a slight increase in premium rates(2~ 6%p over 30 years).
미세유체법을 이용한 지지체용 폴리카프로락틴 미소구체의 제조

Nowadays, bio-degradable microsphere as a scaffold have received growing interest for cosmetics due to the superior characteristic so called 4th generation of filler. Especially PCL (polycaprolactone) microsphere is well known for safety and long degradation time. However, it is usually produced by conventional stirring method although microfluidics method have advantages like monodisperse and better shape than stirring method. Here, we present the fabrication of PCL microsphere using microfluidics. The result shows that our PCL microsphere have better sphere shape which can reduce the infection and pain when it is injected.
호텔기업의 ICT 도입에 따른 4차 산업혁명 맞춤형 인재양성 교육프로그램 개발에 관한 연구

This study aims to establish the purpose and direction of ICT-related education programs in preparation for the demand of manpower in the job of each part according to the application of ICT in the hotel industry, and to suggest future job utilization plans by suggesting a program verified through the FGI (Focus Group Interview). Specifically, this study will verify the appropriateness of job and technology level that needs ICT introduction in the hotel industry and establish the utilization system to provide the necessary policy support and help reduce mismatch of future hotel industry manpower. As a result of the demand survey and FGI in this study, it was shown that the technology and capability that hotel companies need first was the understanding of S/W related to big data and the utilization of database. Also, as innovative service of hotel company is expanding into the IoT, education and training are needed. Lastly, the educational program(plan) in this study is only basic education and training for the fourth revolution, but in the field, it is necessary to develop the deepening process that can be selectively used according to position, occupation, department and can train ICT experts in personnel, technology, and computer field.

Internet user's increase did to increase rapidly server's request rate about user. There is problem that it must spend a lot of expenses to increase real condition or server who high efficiency servers who have High Availability and extensity thereby are required. In paper that see to solve these problem client's request traffic rod balancing server who force few server breakup design and embody . Also. preservation which is efficient by breakup object base design Added conservatism and softness of High level and extensity. System that embody is seen that keep relative short response delay time according to increase of wave and client number that compare with single server from request by majority client.
