      • Factors Influencing Post-Adoption Resistance to Self-Order Kiosks at Fast-Food Restaurants: A Focus on the New-Silver Generation

        Due to the phenomenon of aging, a new consumer segment known as the "new-silver generation" is emerging. Unlike the previous silver generation, this generation possesses significant economic power and consuming willingness, attracting attention from consumer goods companies. However, both the new-silver generation and the elderly face challenges in adopting contactless or self-service technologies such as self-order kiosks, resulting in negative reactions. Therefore, this study aims to investigate the attitude and response of the newsilver generation towards kiosks, as well as the factors influencing their resistance to such technology. By applying theoretical perspectives from the innovation resistance model, technostress theory, and the value-based model, this study identifies influencing factors for innovation resistance among the new-silver generation when using contactless technologies implemented in fast-food restaurants. The findings indicate that a lower awareness of new technologies and services corresponds to decreased adoption resistance, while a higher perceived value leads to more positive behaviors and attitudes among the new-silver generation utilizing kiosks at fast-food restaurants.

        Concept of Ratio in South Korean, Japanese, and Singaporean Mathematics Textbooks

        Understanding ratio and its related mathematical concepts are crucial in upper grade elementary school mathematics and in later learning mathematics as well as science. There might be no controversies about the importance of the ratio concept, however, there are many different ways of describing it. Among them, Beckmann and Izsák’s (2015) recent study of ratio provides insights for viewing ratio concept. This paper investigated how do textbooks of South Korea, Japan, and Singapore view the concept of ratio. English version of Japanese and Singaporean mathematics textbooks were collected and Korean mathematics textbook was translated into English. Textbook analysis was conducted in macro level and micro level. The textbook analysis shows each country introduces ratio differently and emphasizes different aspects. Implications for South Korean mathematics textbook were discussed at the end of the paper.

        Intravenous Administration of Substance P Attenuates Mechanical Allodynia Following Nerve Injury by Regulating Neuropathic Pain-Related Factors

        This study aimed to investigate the analgesic effect of substance P (SP) in an animal model of neuropathic pain. An experimental model of neuropathic pain, the chronic constriction injury (CCI) model, was established using ICR mice. An intravenous (i.v.) injection of SP (1 nmole/kg) was administered to the mice to examine the analgesic effects of systemic SP on neuropathic pain. Behavioral testing and immunostaining was performed following treatment of the CCI model with SP. SP attenuated mechanical allodynia in a time-dependent manner, beginning at 1 h following administration, peaking at 1 day post-injection, and decaying by 3 days post-injection. The second injection of SP also increased the threshold of mechanical allodynia, with the effects peaking on day 1 and decaying by day 3. A reduction in phospho-ERK and glial fibrillary acidic protein (GFAP) accompanied the attenuation of mechanical allodynia. We have shown for the first time that i.v. administration of substance P attenuated mechanical allodynia in the maintenance phase of neuropathic pain using von Frey`s test, and simultaneously reduced levels of phospho-ERK and GFAP, which are representative biochemical markers of neuropathic pain. Importantly, glial cells in the dorsal horn of the spinal cord (L4- L5) of SP-treated CCI mice, expressed the anti-inflammatory cytokine, IL-10, which was not seen in vehicle saline-treated mice. Thus, i.v. administration of substance P may be beneficial for improving the treatment of patients with neuropathic pain, since it decreases the activity of nociceptive factors and increases the expression of anti-nociceptive factors.

        Identification of Inducible Genes during Mast Cell Differentiation

        Mast cells play an important role in allergic inflammation by releasing their bioactive mediators. The function of mast cells is enhanced by stimulation because of the induction of specific genes and their products. While many inducible genes have been elucidated, we speculated that a significant number of genes remain to be identified. Thus, we applied differential display (dd) PCR to establish a profile of the induced genes in bone marrow-derived mast cells (BMMCs) after they were co-cultured with 3T3 fibroblasts. To date, 150 cDNA fragments from the connective-type mast cells (CTMCs) were amplified. Among them, thirty cDNA fragments were reamplified for cloning and sequencing. The ddPCR strategy revealed that serine proteases were the most abundant genes among the sequenced clones induced during the maturation. Additionally, unknown genes from the co-culture of BMMCs with 3T3 fibroblasts were identified. We confirmed their induction in the CTMCs by Northern blot analysis and RT-PCR. Characterization of these induced genes during the maturation processes will provide insight into the functions of mast cells.

      • 열차 분리 결합을 위한 근접 주행 기술 연구

        열차 충돌 사고는 사람의 사상 또는 물건의 손괴 및 열차 운행 지연으로 인한 막대한 손실을 유발한다. 열차제어시스템은 안전한 열차 운행을 위하여 열차의 진로를 제어하고 폐색 구간 또는 이동 권한을 설정하여 열차의 간격을 제어하여 열차를 방호하고 있으나 중련 혹은 구원 운전을 위한 열차 결합 과정에서는 안전거리 내의 근접 주행이 요구된다. 신속하고 안전한 열차의 결합을 위해 근접주행 기술에 대한 연구가 필요하며 이를 위해 해외 열차 충돌 방지시스템의 동향 및 항공기, 선박의 충돌방지 시스템을 살펴보고 근접 주행 기술에 대해 연구하였다. Train to train collision cause injury or death and property damage as well as huge losses by train delay. Train control system protect the train to train collision by interlocking route and safe train separation which limits block or the movement authority of the following train. However coupling and uncoupling of trains require that the following train move into close proximity of the preceding train. To ensure the safety and speed of coupling and uncoupling of trains, train control system for close proximity driving such as railway collision avoidance system and airplane and ship collision avoidance system is studied.

        수정된 IPA를 활용한 대학의 역량 중심 융복합 교과목 운영 개선 요구 분석 - K대학 사례를 중심으로

        연구목적: 본 연구의 목적은 사회 변화에 대응한 대학의 융복합교육 시도에 주목하여 이에 대한 교수 및 학생들의 기대와 요구를 분석하고, 효과적인 융복합교육 실행 및 질 제고를 위해 고려해야 할 사항을 논의하는 것이다. 연구방법: 충남에 소재한 K대학이 2018학년도에 실시한 융복합교육(콜라주 교과목) 사례에 주목하여, 이에 참여한 교수 및 학생을 대상으로 요구도 분석을 위한 설문조사를 실시하였다. 설문 문항은 CIPP 모형에 근거하여 개발 후 사용하였고, 교수 87명, 학생 255명의 응답지를 확보하여, 수정된 IPA를 통한 요구도 분석을 실시하였다. 연구결과: 향후 개선 노력을 집중해야 할 요소로 교수와 학생 모두, ‘기획 편성의 시의 적절성’과 ‘블록당 1학점 이수구조 적합성’이 도출되었다. 융복합 교과목 편성 및 운영이 시범 단계 없이 모든 학과에 전격 도입됨으로 인해 시의 적절성에 대한 개선 요구가 도출된 것으로 판단된다. 또한, 집중 이수제와 같은 유연한 학사구조 상 블록당 학점제를 시도하였으나, 블록마다 별도의 수업과 평가가 이루어지는 것의 부담이 있는 것을 확인하였다. 추가적으로 교수집단에서는 ‘학습자 요구 반영’, ‘수업 시간 일정의 적절성’, ‘학생의 수업 동기’가 개선 노력 집중 요소로 도출되었다. 논의 및 결론: 미래 사회에 새로운 가치를 창조하는 역량 있는 학생을 길러내는 것은 대학이 직면한 최우선의 과제이다. 이를 위해, 융복합교육 실행은 선택이 아닌 필수이다. 나아가 효과적이고 질 높은 융복합교육 실행을 위해서는 교육 수요자 관점에서의 요구와 기대를 분석하고, 이를 실행 과정에 반영하는 절차가 수행되어야 한다. 향후에도 이런 관점에서 수요자의 요구에 기반한 융복합교육에 대한 대학의 다양한 시도가 이루어질 필요가 있다. Purpose: The purpose of this study was to analyze the expectations and demands of the professors and students and to discuss the issues to be considered for implementing effective education and improving quality. Method: A questionnaire survey was conducted among the professors and students who participated in the convergence education conducted by K university in Chungnam in 2018. The questionnaire items were used after the development based on the CIPP model, and 342 responded (87 professors and 255 students) were analyzed by SPSS 24.0 program using revised IPA. Results: Both the professors and the students derived the timeliness of course planning and one-credit equilibrium fit for each block as factors to focus on future improvement efforts. In addition, reflection of student needs , adequacy of class time schedule , and motivation of students were found to be the focus of improvement efforts in the professors. Conclusion: Nurturing a competent student to create new value in the future society is a top priority for the university. To this end, the implementation of multifaceted education is a necessity, not an option. In the future, it will be necessary for universities to make various attempts at convergence education based on the needs from this point of view.

        컴퓨터 기술과 인터넷 산업의 발달로, 우리는 손쉽게 원하는 상품을 구입할 수 있다, 하지만 다양한 쇼핑몰과 엄청난 양의 상품들 중에서 원하는 물건을 적절하게 찾는 작업은 쉽지 않다. 몇몇의 키워드로 상품을 검색할 경우 한정된 상품 카테고리 안의 많은 상품들의 정보를 볼 수 있으나 원하는 상품이 그 안에 있을지는 장담할 수 없다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 색상정보를 이용하여 효율적으로 상품을 검색할 수 있는 인터페이스를 제안한다. As computer technology and internet industrial are growing, we can ouy all kinds 이 merchandise very easily. However, To find relevant merchandise what we want is very difficult process in various internet mall and greate amount of merchandises. Searching merchandise using some keyword makes a lot of list in limited category, but we can not sure that searching results are relevant or not. For this reason, we proposed a interface using color information of goods that is able to search merchandise effectively.
