Monitoring and Analysis of Galileo Services Performance using GalTeC
H. Su,W. Ehret,H. Blomenhofer,E. Blomenhofer 한국항해항만학회 2006 한국항해항만학회 학술대회논문집 Vol.1 No.-
The paper will give an overview of the mission of GalTeC and then concentrate on two main aspects. The first more detailed aspect, is the analysis of the key performance parameters for the Galileo system services and presenting a technical overview of methods and algorithms used. The second more detailed aspect, is the service volume prediction including service dimensioning using the Prediction tool. In order to monitor and validate the Galileo SIS performance for Open Service (OS) and Safety Of Life services (SOL) regarding the key performance parameters, different analyses in the SIS domain and User domain are considered. In the SIS domain, the validation of Signal-in-Space Accuracy SISA and Signal-in-Space Monitoring Accuracy SISMA is performed. For this purpose first of all an independent OD&TS and Integrity determination and processing software is developed to generate the key reference performance parameters named as SISRE (Signal In Space Reference Errors) and related over-bounding statistical information SISRA (Signal In Space Reference Accuracy) based on raw measurements from independent sites (e.g. IGS), Galileo Ground Sensor Stations (GSS) or an own regional monitoring network. Secondly, the differences of orbits and satellite clock corrections between Galileo broadcast ephemeris and the precise reference ephemeris generated by GalTeC will also be compared to check the SIS accuracy. Thirdly, in the user domain, SIS based navigation solution PVT on reference sites using Galileo broadcast ephemeris and the precise ephemeris generated by GalTeC are also used to check key performance parameters. In order to demonstrate the GalTeC performance and the methods mentioned above, the paper presents an initial test result using GPS raw data and GPS broadcast ephemeris. In the tests, some Galileo typical performance parameters are used for GPS system. For example, the maximum URA for one day for one GPS satellite from GPS broadcast ephemeris is used as substitution of SISA to check GPS ephemeris accuracy. Using GalTeC OD&TS and GPS raw data from IGS reference sites, a 10 cm-level of precise orbit determination can be reached. Based on these precise GPS orbits from GalTeC, monitoring and validation of GPS performance can be achieved with a high confidence level. It can be concluded that one of the GalTeC missions is to provide the capability to assess Galileo and general GNSS performance and prediction methods based on a regional and global monitoring networks. Some capability, of which first results are shown in the paper, will be demonstrated further during the planned Galileo IOV phase, the Full Galileo constellation phase and for the different services particularly the Open Services and the Safety Of Life services based on the Galileo Integrity concept.

Chin-yuan Hsu,Chin-ling Hsu,Chin-hwang Hsu,Jim-cai Liao,Hao-jen Chueh,Han-wen Cheng,Hyung-kyou Jun,Duck-hwan Kim 한국임상수의학회 2007 한국임상수의학회지 Vol.24 No.2
A about 2-month- old, mixed female cat was refered to Yeon Chang Veterinary Clinic in Taiwan. Becausethis patient was wandering cat, precise history was not known. At first admision, miosis, ptosis and protrusion of the nictitating membrane was observed in the right sided eye, and also slight miosis was found in the left sided eye. The patient was diagnosed into feline HS. Oculo-AP and injection-AP with dexamethasone were applied to this patient. minutes. In addition, injection-AP with dexamethasone (0.2 ml/acupoint) at BL01-Jing Ming, BL02-Zan Zhu and ST01-Cheng Qi. After AP treatment, prolapse of the nictitating membrane was amazingly disapeared and pupil was dilatated at sesion 1. Ocular findings at sesion 2 (one day after sesion 1) were maintained with nearly normal state. Accordingly, the present patient was a case with feline HS that showed favorable therapeutic effect by AP treatment.
A-List Twitter Users in Korea's Political Tweet Sphere
Hsu, Chien-Leng,Park, Ji-Young,Park, Han-Woo The Korea Contents Association 2012 International Journal of Contents Vol.8 No.3
This study examines A-list users in the Twitter network of National Assembly members in South Korea. An examination of some socio-geographic characteristics of these A-list users indicates that the distribution of these users in terms of their geographic location and social status can be understood in the context of the Korean social structure. In addition, an examination of Tweets posted by these users shows that half of these users had negative attitudes toward the current administration and that some Tweets contained emotional terms.
The Efficacy of a Promotional Strategy of Shopping Malls
Hsu, Chiao-Yin,Kim, Sook-Hyun,Ordonez, Margaret The Korea Society of Costume 2008 International journal of costume and fashion Vol.8 No.2
This study examined the efficacy of shopping malls?v isual experience and convenience (i.e., exterior and interior changes) and general promotions (i.e., price and non-price promotions) by investigating their level of accomplishing promotion objectives that include consumers?a wareness, interest, trial endorsement, willingness to purchase, and visits/spending. Results showed that in general, shopping malls?p romotions did not effectively accomplish any of the five promotion objectives. However, some promotion activities are more effective in achieving a specific objective than other promotion activities. Shopping malls should take advantages of the functions of different types of promotions to form a comprehensive promotion strategy.

In this paper we explore the relationships between brand-centered human resource management (HRM) and brand citizenship behavior. The roles of person-brand fit and brand commitment are discussed, and seven hypotheses presented. Using multilevel analysis, we test whether these concepts mediate the relationship between brand-centered HRM and brand citizenship behavior.
Novel Flexible Printed Circuit Windings for a Slotless Linear Motor Design
Hsu, Liang-Yi,Yan, Guo-Jhih,Tsai, Mi-Ching Journal of International Conference on Electrical 2012 Journal of international Conference on Electrical Vol.1 No.1
Linear motors has been developed for factory automation, transportation applications, among other applications. As the trend toward compact sizes in micro electronic products progresses, the required motor drives in these applications need to be downsized with increased power densities. It appears that the winding of miniature linear motors is the most awkward part to be scaled down from conventional motor designs when miniaturizing. This paper presents an alternative design for slotless linear motors. A novel flexible printed circuit winding has been applied to obtain a simplified but qualified result. Having explained the prototyping and inspection, a discussion is given to examine the achievement of this study.
Tariff Policy and Quantity Expectations in an Economy with Classical Unemployment
Hsu, Chen-Min 세종대학교 국제경제연구소 1989 Journal of Economic Integration Vol.4 No.1
An intertemporal two-sector, fix-price model for an open economy by taking account of future quantity expectations on either goods or labor markets is developed. Exportables prices are set by firms, while importables prices are given in the world markets. It is shown that the "classical unemployment" might come out under different exchange rate regimes as long as the importables firms pessimistically expect that sales constraints will be binding. Moreover, given that the economy is under the classical unemployment, a reduction in the tariff rate combined with a reduction in the government transfer payments might raise national income and make the trade balance deteriorate less sharply in the flexible exchange rate regime under some conditions. The policy implication is that to pursue the trade liberalization policy an economy might also need to consider to allow the exchange rate to adjust flexibly.

A new approach using the differential quadrature method (DQM) is derived for analysis of non-uniform beams resting on nonlinear media in this study. The influence of velocity dependent viscous damping and strain rate dependent viscous damping is investigated. The results solved using the DQM have excellent agreement with the results solved using the FEM. Numerical results indicated that the DQM is valid and efficient for non-uniform beams resting on non-linear media.
