        As telecommunication network users and information appliances increase, efficient home networking environment is needed for bulk A/V data transmission in real time. For this need, the integrated applicable Interfacing technologies using IEEE1394 and UTP cables are considered to be applied to the apartments architecture. In this paper, we firstly review the residential cabling environment of apartents according to the emblem system of MIC in a point of home networking software technologies development and information appliances increase in domestic IT situation, and finally propose a integrated home network infrastructure architecture for users' convenience on the basis of the implementation and experiment on the high speed interfacing environment in the emblem system apartment using the low cost interfacing media.

      • 안정된 초고속 홈네크워크를 위한 整合 케이블을 이용한 Wiring System

        Recently the integrated applicable interfacing technologies using IEEE1394 and UTP cables are considered to be applied to the apartments architecture This paper proposes a wiring system for a high-speed and long-distance data transmission in the future home network system using balanced cables As interfacing a medium UTP-Cat 5 is known as a cable used for LAN connection between PCs Although there are broadband transmission media such as coaxial cables and optical fibers, blanced cables are used because they are cheaper and easer to install The proposes a wiring system enables simultaneous transmission of the IEEE1394 signals of A/V-Data for Digital Consumer Electronics and the Ethernet signals of PCs LAN data using only on UTP-Cat.5 cable, which consists of four unshieled twisted pairs. In order to test the feasibility of this wiring system, we have evaluated the signal transmission and EMC characteristics Furthermore, for the purpose of experimentation, the wiring system is actually installed and evaluated by eye-diagram and BER. The obtained results show that the proposed wiring system can transmit IEEE1394 signals and Ethernet signals simultaneously using 10∼100m UTP-Cat.5 cables at 100Mbps.

        호산구증가증을 동반한 혈관임파양 증식증

        Angiolymphoid hyperplasia with eosinophilia(ALHE) is benign subcutaneous lesion that primarily affects head and neck region. It is characterized by single or multiple nodules in the subcutaneous tissue associated with eosinophilia in the peripheral blood. Kimura's disease, originally reported by Kimura et al., is similar lesion with ALHE in the clinical and histopathological aspects. There has been considerable controversy about the relation between Kimura's disease and ALHE. IN Korea, 26 cases of Kimura's disease and ALHE have been reported since 1975. We present a case of recurred ALHE occurring on the left cheek in a 58-year-old woman. Including this case, we summarized all cases that were reported as Kimura's disease or ALHE in Korea through literature review. We also give an outline of clinical and histopathological characteristics of cases reported in Korea.

        Goretex를 이용한 융비술

        융비술시 실리콘 고무는 다루기 쉽고 조직 반응이 적어 현대 많이 돌출의 합병증이 생길 수 있다. 저자등은 이러한 실리콘의 단점을 보완할 수 있는 goretex를 사용하여 융비술을 시행하고 비첨에 대해서 자가연골을 이식하여 만족할 만한 결과를 얻었기에 goretex가 안면부 연조직의 증강을 위한 이식재료로 적합하다고 생각되어 문헌고찰과 함께 보고하는 바이다. Many different materials have been used to provide augmentation of the nasal dorsum. this include both autogenous and homogenous materials,as well as allografts. Silicone among the artificial materials has been most widely used. The silicone has some advantages and disadvantages. Goretex(expanded polytetra-fluoroethylene) which has widely used in vascular surgery and abdominal surgery can be used for facial soft tissue augmentation. The author presemts 2 cases of nasal augmentaion using goretex with literature review.

      • 국내 도시 쓰레기의 열분해 특성에 관한 연구

        Pyrolysis system will plat a big role on the resource recovery of wastes without secondary pollution problems comparing usual incineration system. Pyrolysis experiments of municipal solid wastes was conducted and the results are as follows. 1) From tile compression test before the pyrolysis, moisture removal was observed from 70% compression and the variation of the removed moisture amount was detected until 80% compression. Over the 80% compression, there was no change. 2) Non-isothermal pyrolysis reaction constant was found out through the experiment. When the increasing rate of temperature varied from 20 to 40 K/min, the activation energy of cellulose and plastic were 100~160 KJ/mol and 192~239KJ/mo1, respectively. The order of reaction was on the range of 1.2~1.8. As the increasing rate of temperature increased, the activation energy was decreased.

      • 저속 동영상 부호화를 위한 프랙탈 영상 압축

        This paper presents a compression technique based on fractal theory for fast encoding and decoding image sequences for very low bit-rates image communication instead of DCT coding which is a standard compression method of moving image used in the H.261. or MPEG. We remove temporal redundancy in interframe of image sequences by moving prediction compensation method and spatial redundancy in intraframe, by fractal theory. In the moving prediction coding, we performed coding for block which have higher threshold values than the allowed ones through the fractal structure of their still images. We also employ domain partitioning and multi-layer block partitioning using edge detection method to enhance the fidelity of reconstructed image, coding speed, and compression rate. We apply this method to moving images used for video telephone and perform simulations. The result of our experiment shows that using fractal structure is better than using DCT structure at low bit-rates such as 4.8-64Kbit/sec.

        접착제와 와동형성의 차이에 따른 5급 복합레진 수복의 전향적 임상연구

        본 연구의 목적은 복합레진을 이용한 비우식성 치경부 5급 병소 수복에 있어서, 3가지 다른 접착제를, 유지구를 부여한 치아와 부여하지 않은 치아에 적용하였을 때의 임상적인 효능의 차이를 비교하기 위함이다. 총 150개의 치아를 각각 25개씩 6개의 군으로 나누었다. A군 Scotchbond Multi-Purpose (SBMP, 3M ESPE, St, Paul, MN, USA, 4세대 접착제)를 사용하고 유지구를 부여하지 않음. B군: SBMP를 사용하고 유지구를 부여. C군: BC Plus (Vericom Co., Anyang, Gyeonggido, Korea, 5세대 접착제)를 사용하고 유지구를 부여하지 않음. D군: BC Plus를 사용하고 유지구를 부여. E군: Adper Prompt (3M ESPE, Seefeld, Germany, 6세대 접착제)를 사용하고 유지구를 부여하지 않음. F군: Adper Prompt를 사용하고 유지구를 부여. 모든 치아는 복합레진인 Denfil(Vericom Co., Anyang. Gyonggido. Korea)을 이용하여 충전하였다. 수복 직후와, 수복 6개월 후에 modified USPHS (United States Public Health Service) criteria에 따라 수복물을 임상적으로 평가하였다. 추가적으로 임상사진을 촬영하였으며, 에폭시 레진을 이용하여 복제한 후 주사전자현미경을 이용하여 이를 관찰하였다. 6개월 후 관찰 결과. alpha rating의 수가 각 실험군마다 동일하지는 않았지만, 통계적으로는 3가지의 접착제간에 유의할만한 차이는 없었고, 기계적인 유지구를 부여한 군과 부여하지 않은 군 간에도 유의할만한 차이는 없었다 (p > 0.05). 그러나 6개월의 관찰 기간은 일반적으로 기대되는 레진의 수명보다 짧기 때문에, 각 실험군 간의 차이를 알아보기 위해서는 추후 더 오랜 기간의 관찰이 요구된다. The purpose of this study is to evaluate prospectively the effect of different bonding systems and retention grooves on the clinical performance of resin restorations in non-carious cervical lesions (NCCLs). Thirty nine healthy adults who had at least 2 NCCLs in their promolar areas were included in this study. One hundred and fifty teeth were equally assigned to six groups; (A) Scotchbond Multi-Purpose (SBMP, 3M ESPE, St, Paul, MN, USA, 4th generation bonding system) without retention grooves; (B) SBMP with retention grooves: (C) BC Plus (Vericom Co., Anyang, Gyeonggido, Korea, 5th generation bonding system) without retention grooves; (D) BC Plus with retention grooves; (E) Adper Prompt (3M ESPE, Seefeld, Germany, 6th generation bonding system) without retention grooves: (F) Adper Prompt with retention grooves. All cavities were filled with a hybrid composite resin, Denfil (Vericom Co., Anyang, Gyeonggido, korea) by one operator. Restorations were evaluated at baseline and at 6-month recall, according to the modified USPHS (United states Public Health Service) criteria, Additionally, clinical photographs were taken and epoxy resin replicas were made for SEM evaluation. At 6-month recall, there were some differences in the number of alpha ratings among the experimental groups. But, despite the differences in the number of alpah ratings, there was no significant difference among the 3 adhesive systems (p > 0.05). There was also no significant difference between the groups with or without mechanical retention (p > 0.05). Follow-ups for longer periods than 6 months are needed to verify the clinical performance of different bonding systems and retention grooves. 〔J Kor Acad Cons Dent 31(4):300-311, 2006〕
