폐수내 폐놀의 생물학적 분해공정 Model 에 관한 연구

폐수내 존재하는 적은 양의 유해물질이 미생물에 의해 분해시 cometabolism 과정에 의해 분해됨이 연속 및 회분배양으로 입증됐으며, phenol 분해시 유도된 bioenergetic 수율 model에 의해 0.1026(1/h)의 cometabolism coefficient와 0.587의 glucose 최대 전환수율이 계산됐다. Pseudomonas sp.의 생육을 저해하지 않는 phenol의 농도는 20㎍/㎖ 이하였으며, phenol 유사체인 m-cresol로 미리 배양시킨 경우 Phenol 분해능이 우수했으며 전채 균체량도 증가했다. A bioenergetic model has been developed to estimate cometabolism coefficient along with maintenance coefficient for cometabolism process where small amounts of toxic materials exist with major carbon and energy source (eg. glucose) in the waste water. Cometabolism coefficient and maximum bioenergetic yield were estimated as 0.1026 (1/h) and 0.585, respectively for the growth of Pseudomonas sp. under aerobic continuous cultivation. It also turned out that phenol was utilized as a cometabolic substrate where its concentration was below 20㎍/㎖. Pre-cultivation with a phenol analog, m-cresol enhanced biodegradation rates of phenol and also increased total biomass concentration along with the extension of stationary phase.

비정질 $Se_{75}Ge_{25}$박막으로의 이온침투 현상 해석

The bilayer film of Ag/a-S $e_{75.G}$ $e_{25}$ and the monolayer film of a-S $e_{75.G}$ $e_{25}$ act as a negative-type and a positive-type resist in focused ion beam lithography, respectively. Using a model which takes into account the ion stopping power, the ion projected range, the ion concentration implanted into resists and the ion transmission coefficient, etc., the ion resist parameters are calculated for a broad range of ion energies and implanted doses. Ion sources of A $r^{+}$, S $i^{++}$ and G $a^{+}$ are used to expose resists. As the calculated results, the energy loss per unit distance by Ga'$^{+}$ ion is about 10$^{3}$[keV/.mu.M] and nearly constant for all energy range. Especially, the projected range and struggling for 80[keV] G $a^{+}$ ion energy are 0.0425[.mu.m] and 0.020[.mu.m], , respectively and the resist thickness of a-S $e_{75}$ G $e_{25}$ to minimize the ion penetration rate into a substrate is 0.118[.mu.m].u.m]..u.m].

In Currently, the domestic reuse rate of ELV parts is about 3%. The reason of the row rate of it is due to that consumer can not obtain the information of the needed ELV parts. In order to supply the needed information to consumer, the standard of the part classification of the ELV parts is required. This research is to develop the part classification system of the three digits and web site of ELV parts.
Screening of Anti-stress Activities in Extracts from Korean Medicinal Herbs

When we carried out an anti-stress study using the extracts of A. senticosus, R. coreanus, F. japonica root, and A. fruticosa fruit grown in Korea, the results showed that blood cell counts returned to normal levels fastest with R. coreanus after stress application. The total WBC count was decreased in mice due to stress, whereas the number of lymphocytes was increased. The serum glucose level was higher in the control group compared with the comparative stress group. The weight of each organ to returning to normal level was significantly faster in those mice treated with the extracts compared with those in control groups. Especially, it even return to that of normal level with R. coreanus extract, suggesting that the administration of the plant extracts in this study would affect hormonal activities in the body to increase immune activities. F. japonica root that showed the highest anti-stress activities maybe effective for lipid and carbohydrate metabolism. These results would provide basic data to examine anti-stress effects of natural plants. Further in-depth studies could contribute in the development of functional plant materials with anti-stress activities.

In the last year, the number of registered vehicles in Korea surpassed the 15 million mark, and increase in number continuously. Nowdays, this tendency has raised some problems inevitably in the view of expansion of ELV(End of Life Vehicles) and earth environment pollution resulted from it. A foreign country is strengthening law about a car recycling for to solve this problem. Car recycling technology in Japan was introduced in this paper.

The degree of the photodoping process in Ag(100[.angs.])/a-Se$_{75}$Ge$_{25}$(1500[.angs.]) films has measured as a function of the photon energy between 1.5[eV] and 2.9[eV] with the exposing time. The "window" characteristics of Ag occur at 3400[.angs.] (3.65[eV]) and Ag is almost transparent in this region. It is shown that transmittance is almost constant (40-50%) for the wavelength ranges of our experiment. It is found that the energy gap of a unexposed a-Se$_{75}$Ge$_{25}$ film is 1.81[eV]. Ag photodoping process results in the photodarkening effect which the absorption edge shifts to the long wavelength. Especially, very large band shift (-0.3[eV]) is obtained by exposing He-Ne laser(6328[.angs.]).. We have obtained "the U-type property" for Ar He-Ne and semiconductor laser. It is associated with the variation of energy gap(E$_{g}$) with photo-dose and substantially is explained by DWP model.l.gap(E$_{g}$) with photo-dose and substantially is explained by DWP model.
