      • 英美法上 公益信託의 公益目的에 관한 考察

        In England, the public benefit of charitable trust has been classified under four heads by lord Macnaghton. Four heads are ① Trusts for the relief of poverty, ② Trusts for the advancement of education, ③ Trusts for the advancement of religion, ④ Trusts for other purposes beneficial to the Community not falling under any of the other three heads-for the protection of animals, for the promotion of recreation, for the promotion of national and local defence, for the promotion of Sports, for the advancement of locality, for the advancement of politic, for the protection of environment etc. This classification is generally simillar to that is clissified by the Restatement of the Law of Trusts §§368∼374 in U.S.A. In Korea, the classification of public benefit in the Trust Act(1961) §65 is provided 「trusts for the art and science, the religion, the sacrificial rites, the philanthropy, the artistic skillfulness, the other public benefit not falling under any of the other five item」. And in this research, I described the definition of public benefit, the interpretation of preceding discript provision, the category of beneficiaries with reference to Cases of England.

      • 인터루킨5가 기니픽 호산구의 화학주성 및 superoxide anion생성에 미치는 영향

        Eosinophils have been implicated as major cells in the pathogenesis of allergic diseases. For tissue injury in allergic diseases, the eosinophils have to migrate to target organ and generate inflammatory chemical mediators, granuleassociat basic proteins and highly reactive oxygen metabolites. The potential role of IL-5 as eosinophil-proliferating, activating and/or recruiting mediator led us to evaIuate the effects of IL-5, PAF, fMLsP or PMA on superoxide anion generation by eosinophils and chemotaxis by eosinophils with or without priming by IL-5. Eosinophirich peritoneal exudate was obtained in guinea pig by horse serum or polymyx- in B sulfate as a stirnulator and the eosinophils were purified by percoll gradient centrifugation method. Chemotactic activity was evaluated on micro-Boyden chamber and results wrer expressed as the number of eosinophils in the presence of HBSS (Hanks balanced salt solution), PAF (platelet activating factor), fMLP (formyl- methionyl-leucyl-phenylalanine) or IL-5 (interl- eukin-5). Superoxide anion generation by eosinophils stirnulated with PAF, PMA, fMLP or IL-5 was determined as the superoxide dismutase (20 ug /ml)-inhibitable reduction of cytochrome C. The results were as follows', 1. The mean total cell count, the total eosino- phil count and the proportion of eosinophils in peritoneal exudate of guinea pig after injection of polymyxin B sulfate or horse serum into peritoneal cavity were 25.1+3.4(x10') or 26.8+5.3 (x10'), 8.6+2.5(x10') or 8.4x2.9(x10') and 34.3 % or 31.4 %. 2. Superoxide anion generation of eosinophils in response to PAF, fMLP, PMA or IL-5 was in- creased in time dependent manner. At 20, 40, 60, 90 minute after stimulation with PMA (phorbol muris-tate acetate), superoxide anion generation by eosinophils was 12.45+4.26 nM, 36.12+14.37nM, 43.83+17.21 nM, 42.29+-16.5 2 nM. At 20, 40, 60, 90 minute after stimulation with PAF, superoxide anion generation by eosinophils was 8.62+2.5 nM, 14.13+5.18 nM, 18. 24+6.25 nM, 20.76+6.93 nM. At 20, 40, 60, 90 mintute after stimulation with fMLP, superoxide anion generation by eosinophils was 6.32 +1.95nM, 14.52+3.92nM, 14.52+4.93 nM, 17. 26+5.37 nM. At 20, 40, 60, 90 minute after stimulation with IL-5, superoxide anion genera- tion by eosinophils was 9.45+2.47 nM, 23.32+ 6.37 nM, 25.17+ 8.63 nM, 26.92+9.43 nM. 3. The rnean numbers of migrating eosino- phils after stimulation with HBSS, PAF, fMLP or IL-5 to eosinophils without priming by IL-5 were 943.2, 64+21.5, 34+13.6, 73+-27.9. Chemotactic activity of eosinophils to PAF, fMLP or IL-5 was significantly higher than that of HBSS(p<0.05). The mean numbers of migrating eosinophils after stimulation with HBSS, PAF, fMLP or IL-5 to eosinophils with priming by IL-5(400 ng/ml) were ll+4.7, 98+ 30.1, 45+-19.8, 106+42.8. Eosinophils with priming by IL-5 were showed more chemotactic ctivity than eosinophils without priming when stimulated by PAF, or IL-5(P<0.05). In chemotactic activity to eosinophils, IL-5 or PAF was significantly increased compared with fMLP(P < 0.01). In conclusion, IL-5 together with PAF are important chemotactic agents for eosinophils and IL-5 is modulator of eosinophil chemotaxis causing selective up regulation of chemotactic response toward different agents. IL-5 like other stimulators induces superoxide anion generation by eosinophils in time dependent manner. So IL-5 may play a significant role in increasing the functional activities of eosinophils such as chomotaxis and superoxide anion generation in allergic diseases.

        망막신경섬유층 사진과 주파수배가시야검사계의 녹내장 조기 진단 능력의 비교

        Purpose: To compare the frequency doubling technology perimeter (FDT) with retinal nerve fiber layer (RNFL) photography as a tool for the early detection of glaucoma. Methods: Ninety-eight eyes of 98 patients were evaluated over a period of 3 months. According to the results of RNFL photography and FDT, Patients were divided into four groups based on the results of RNFL photography and optical coherence tomography (OCT). A comparison of the RNFL thickness of each group was performed using the OCT results. Results: RNFL thickness in the group with abnormal FDT and normal RNFL were significantly decreased from those in the group with normal FDT and RNFL photography at the 6, 7 and, 10 o’clock area (p<0.05). Conclusions: There were statistically significant differences in the RNFL thickness between the group with abnormal FDT and normal RNFL photography, and the group with normal FDT and RNFL photography within the limited areas. These results imply that FDT is more useful for the early detection of glaucoma than RNFL photography. 목적: 망막신경섬유층 사진과 비교하여 주파수배가시야검사계의 녹내장 조기 진단의 유용성을 알아보고자 하였다. 대상과 방법: 전체 98명의 환자에서 98안을 대상으로 3개월 이내에 주파수배가시야검사계, 망막신경섬유층 사진 촬영 및 빛간섭단층 촬영을 시행하였다. 망막신경섬유층 사진과 주파수배가시야검사계의 결과를 기준으로 환자를 4개의 군으로 분류하였으며, 각 군에서 빛간섭단층촬영기를 이용하여 측정한 망막신경섬유층의 두께를 비교하였다. 결과: 망막신경섬유층 사진은 정상 소견을 보이나 주파수배가시야검사계에서 이상 소견을 보인 환자 군에서 빛간섭단층촬영기를 이용 하여 측정한 망막신경섬유층의 두께치는 두 가지 검사 모두에서 정상 소견을 보인 환자군에 비해 6시, 7시, 10시에서 통계적으로 유의 하게 낮은 것으로 나타났다(p<0.050). 결론: 망막신경섬유층 사진은 정상이나 주파수배가시야검사계에서 이상 소견을 보인 환자군에서 빛간섭단층촬영기로 측정한 망막신 경섬유층의 두께는 제한된 영역에 한하여 유의한 감소를 보였다. 이는 녹내장의 조기 진단에 있어 망막신경섬유층 사진에 비하여 주파 수배가시야검사계가 더 민감할 수 있음을 제시하는 소견일 수 있다.

        유사프로젝트 실적자료 분석을 통한 월간투입비용 예측모델 알고리즘의 전산화구축에 관한 연구

        Dynamic and fragmented characteristics are two of the most significant factors that distinguish the construction business from other industries. The objective of this research is to explore a more precise forecasting method by applying Case-based Reasoning (CBR) to overcome these obstacles. The CAMP(CAse Matching Prediction), newly developed forecasting model in this study, enables project managers to forecast monthly expenditures with less time and effort by retrieving and referring only projects of a similar nature, while filtering out irrelevant cases included in database. For the purpose of accurate forecasting, 1) the choice of the numbers of referring projects and 2) the better selection among three levels which include a 20-work package level, a 7-major work package level, and a total sum level analysis, were investigated in detail. It is concluded that selecting similar projects at 12~19 % out of the whole database will produce a more precise forecasting.The new forecasting model, which suggest the predicted values based on previous projects, is more than just a forecasting methodology; it provides a bridge that enables current data collection techniques to be used within the context of the accumulated information. This will eventually help all the participants in the construction industry to build up the knowledge derived from invaluable experience.
