현대과학기술의 본질과 특성

17세기 과학혁명을 계기로 비약적으로 발전하기 시작한 근대과학은 19세기 산업혁명과정에서 시작된 기술의 놀라운 발전과 맞물리면서 현대를 과학기술의 시대로 만들었다. 특히 20세기 후반에 시작된 첨단과학기술의 발전은 인간의 과학적 지식과 기술적 능력을 가히 혁명적으로 향상시킴으로써 인간을 초인의 경지에 이르게 만들었다. 이제 인간은 첨단과학 기술을 이용하여 자연의 한계를 뛰어넘어 새로운 세계를 창조할 수 있는 능력마저 갖게 되기에 이르렀다. 아울러 현대의 많은 인간들은 자신들의 생활의 모든 측면과 과정에서 거의 전면적으로 과학기술에 의한 지배를 받고 있다. 이제 현대의 과학기술은 마치 대기권이 지구를 둘러싸고 있듯이 일종의 <과학기술권>으로서 우리를 둘러싸고 있다.

Histological Analysis of In Vitro Co-Culture and In Vivo Mice Co-Transplantation of Stem Cell-Derived Adipocyte and Osteoblast

Many researchers have focused on the role of adipocytes in increasing efficient bone tissue engineering and osteogenic differentiation of stem cells. Previous reports have not reached a definite consensus on whether adipocytes positively influence in vitro osteogenic differentiation and in vivo bone formation. We investigated the adipocyte influence on osteogenic differentiation from adipose-derived stromal cells (ADSCs) and bone formation through histological analysis in vitro and in vivo. Using the direct co-culture system, we analyzed the influence of adipocytes to promote the differentiation fate of ADSCs. Using co-transplantation of ADSC-derived adipocytes and osteoblasts into the dorsal region of mice, the osteogenesis and bone quality were determined by histological morphology, radiography, and the measurement of the Ca2+ concentration. The adipocyte negatively affected the osteoblast differentiation of ADSCs in the in vitro system and induced osteogenesis of osteoblasts in the in vivo system through co-transplantation. Interestingly, in the co-transplanted adipocytes and osteoblasts, the bone formation areas decreased in the osteoblast only group compared with the mixed adipocytes and osteoblast group 6 weeks after transplantation. Conversely, co-transplantation and osteoblast transplantation had similar degrees of calcification as observed from radiography analysis and the measurement of the Ca2+ concentrations. Our results revealed that adipocytes inhibited osteoblast differentiation in vitro but enhanced the efficacy of osteogenesis in vivo. In addition, the adipocytes controlled the activity of osteoclasts in the newly formed bone tissue. Our approach can be used to reconstruct bone using stem cell-based tissue engineering and to enhance the understanding of the role adipocytes play.

忠南傳說의 特性硏究

Chungnam District, where once located the capital town of Baikjai, is well known for the old culture area. Had been near the border of Seoul, the capital town was not only one of the highly favoured places which abound with chronicle and great great kings but also an important place of transportation. A great many legerds, as the history of culture and legend bears witness, have been occurred and handed down in the long settled capital town. Chungnam has many and various legends with the historic background. But the most important thing is to const-ruct the systematic context of the fragmentary legends and to assess their originality or value. The author have attempt to gather 551 kinds of legend which remains very nearly in its original state and to find out some characters among them. First of all, there is something characteristic about these legends that have the pessi-mism of the Baikjainian people, not merely from the lost town, but from their idea of old grandeur. Secondly, the most of legends commemorate the great king's achieveme-nts and the revolutionary events which we may call their historical idea. Thirdly, it is the confucian idea that has been kept up with their traditional way of life. Fourthly, they are deeply concerned with Buddhism as a means of recognizing the ultimate nature of reality. The four points of view are not mutually contradictory, but closely combined. Thus, we can say that such an organic union came from the deeprooted historical or regional background, and as a consequence, formed a specific feature quite different from the legends of any other towns.

Cucurbita moschata 잎을 吸着劑로 利用한 水中 금속이온의 吸着除去 및 그 理論에 關한 硏究

Adsorption of metal ions(Ag^+, Co^2+, Zn^2+)from water by the formal in treated leaves of Cucurbita moschata was survered by atomic absorption spectroscopy. Rate of adsorption by the formal in treated leaves of Curcurbita moschata was evaluated under he condition of variation in temperature, stirring time, pH and metal ion concentration. The result is as follows ; Formalin treated sample has the greater adsorbability than nontreated sample and active carbon, it did not denaturated on the 110^˚C and room temperature at the long period. The adsorption of metal ions by the formal in treated leaves of Cucurbita evaluated useful scavenger. Adsorption of Silver, Cobalt and Zinc by the formalin treated leaves of Cucurbita moschata roughly follows a Freundlich Isotherms in the concentration range each 5-20㎍/ml of Ag^+, Co^2+ and Zn^2+. In the Freundlich Isotherms ; log X/m = 1/n log C + log K the value of 1/n in in Ag^+, Co^2+ and Zn^2+ is each 0.552,0.769 and C.645 the value of log K in Ag^+, Co^2+ and Zn^2+ is each 2.654,2.634 and 2.570 Ag^+ ; logX/m = 0.552 logC + 2,654 Co^2+ ; logX/m = 0.769 logC + 2,634 ZN^2+ ; logX/m = 0.646 logC + 2,570

본 논문은 인간의 삶에 있어서 질병과 의료와 법이 복합적인 실천적상관관계를 가지고 있다는 인식을 기반으로 의료와 법의 관계를 법철학적 관점에서 조명하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 먼저 질병과 의료가 인간의 삶에 어떤 의미를 갖는지를 살펴보고, 의료의 본질과 특징이 무엇인지를 검토한 후에, 의료와 법의 상호관계를 다양한 관점에서 검토하고자 한다. 이러한 작업은 의료에 대한 개별적인 법영역에서의 규율을 법철학적으로 정초하는 의미를 갖게 될 것이다.

정의론의 기본문제

정의란 무엇인가 하는 문제는 법철학의 중심적인 문제이다. 우선 이론적 차원에서 볼 때, 고대 그리스에서 법에 대한 철학적 사유가 시작된 이래 정의의 문제는 수많은 법철학자들이 끊임없이 고민해 온 문제이며, 이러한 과정에서 정의의 문제와 관련하여 매우 다양한 이론들이 제시되어 왔다. 또한 실천적 차원에 있어서도 정의는 국가간의 전쟁이나 혁명과 같은 거시적 차원에서부터 개인에 대한 임금의 지급이나 형벌의 부과와 같은 미시적 차원에 이르기까지 매우 광범위한 영역에서 문제되어 왔다.

스코폴라민 패취(스코프 패취)의 cross over test에 의한 국낸 시판품과의 생물학적 동등성시험

Even though two different preparations are chemically equivalent, the variance of Bioavailability differenciates the clinical effect of preparations, so that the preparations need to be evaluated by comparing bioavailability in vivo as well as chemical equivalence. In this study, bioequivalence test of commercially available scopolamine patch(kimite-pacth??, Reference sample) and Scope-patch?? (Test sample) was performed, The bioavailability parameters obtained by drug administration were statistically analyzed. Statistical evaluation of the data involved an analysis of variance for a cross over design. Cross over design was employed with 20 healthy volunteers. The results were within 20% difference of mean value in Am_tn (totally urinary excreted amount of scopolamine). V_max and T_max between kimite-patch?? and Scope-patch??. The result of ANOVA showed no significant differences for "between group or subject" and "period" Scope-patch?? was biologically equivalent with kimite-patch in the Am_tn, V_max and T_max.

I would like to suggest the 2008 Caldecott medal winner The Invention of Hugo Cabret by Brian Selznick might be a new possibility of literature. From almost 20 years ago on, I have tried to find what literature would and should be in the digital age. In the circumstances that a classical novel such as Jane Eyre, unlike graphic novels, webtoons and mangas, is not attractive any more to young college students, I could find in the class this new kind of novel draw even reluctant readers deeper into the pages. In this paper I will investigate why I think The Invention of Hugo Cabret is a new possibility of literature in the digital age.

과학기술에 대한 법적 통제

오늘날 인간의 삶은 긍정적인 측면에서든 부정적인 측면에서든 과학기술에 의해 광범위하고 심층적인 영향을 받고 있다. 과학기술의 이러한 영향력은 이미 과학기술이 우리의 삶을 규정하는 중요한 요인이 되고 있다 는 것을 말해주는 동시에, 과학기술이 더 이상 <법으로부터 자유로운 영역>이 될 수 없다는 것을 보여준다. 법의 목적은 인간의 정당한 삶의 조건을 확보하는 것이다. 과학기술이 인간의 삶의 조건을 결정하는 중요한 요소가 되고 있는 현재의 상황에서 과학기술은 더 이상 법의 규율에서 벗어날 수 없는 것이다.
