This study explores the effect of residents' satisfaction levels with the daily spaces and characteristics of the cities where they live on the probability of satisfaction with walking in residential areas. As a result of the analysis, factors such as individual characteristics, daily spatial experiences, the purpose of movement, and the characteristics of each city influenced the satisfaction of walking in residential areas. In light of the study's results, residents' daily experiences while walking in everyday spaces affect their satisfaction with walking in residential areas.

This study analyzes the key elements and their effects of living lab for smart urban-regeneration projects and devises an analysis platform that can predict the results of living labs. In addition, this study deeply analyzes the cases of living labs in Goyang City based on the devised platform. This study proposed a ‘Living Lab Analysis Platform(LLAP)’ that is drawn by combining the key elements, project types, and expected outcomes of a living lab. The key elements of Living Lab were input elements (stakeholders, context, infrastructure), activity elements (methodology and approach, governance), task characteristics, and outcome characteristics. The task characteristic element and the outcome characteristic element were analyzed by devising a type matrix, respectively. The LLAP systematically presents the essential review elements to propel the smart urban-regeneration project in the living lab method. Based on this, it will be possible to determine what type of specific projects of the smart urban-regeneration living lab and to establish the necessary strategy accordingly. In-depth case analysis will help the practitioners decide the factors that need to be weighed for successful living lab projects and predict the outcome.

이 연구의 목적은 인구ㆍ사회ㆍ경제적 조건과 시군도시특성 등을 통제한 상태에서 주민의 물리환경에 대한 인식이 시군생활만족도에 미치는 영향을 확인하는 것이다. 이를 바탕으로 이 연구는 도시설계 차원에서 다뤄져야 할 구체적 통찰을 제시한다. 분석모형은 시군생활만족도를 종속변수로 활용하였고, 인구ㆍ사회ㆍ경제요인, 물리환경인식요인, 도시특성요인 등을 독립변수로사용하였다. 분석을 통해, 도시의 삶의 질을 향상하려면 총체적 접근이 필요하다는 선행연구들의 정성적 논의를 정량적으로 확인하였다. 특히, 주택만족도, 주거지내보행만족도, 월평균가구소득, 동네소속감 등이 시군생활만족도에 영향을 미치는 주요한 요인이었다. 도시설계가는 주거단지, 근린, 생활권 등을 계획 및 설계할 때, 주민의 삶의 만족도에 주요한 영향을 미치는 요인을중심으로 도시설계수단을 검토할 수 있다. This study aims to determine the effect of residents’ perceptions of the physical environment on their satisfaction with municipal life, while controlling for demographic and socio-economic conditions, as well as municipal characteristics. From this, the study offers specific insights to be addressed in the realm of urban design. The analytical model uses municipal life satisfaction as the dependent variable, with demographic, socio-economic factors, physical environment cognitive factors, and urban characteristics serving as independent variables. Through this analysis, we quantitatively affirm the qualitative findings of previous studies, suggesting that a holistic approach is essential for enhancing the quality of life in cities. Notably, factors such as housing satisfaction, walking satisfaction in residential areas, average monthly household income, and a sense of neighborhood belonging emerged as the primary determinants of municipal life satisfaction. As such, when planning and designing residential complexes, neighborhoods, and living areas, urban designers should prioritize design considerations that profoundly influence residents’ life satisfaction.

사용자의 오프라인 행사 참여가 리뷰에 미치는 영향 : Yelp Elite Squad를 사례로

소비자들은 자신의 의사 결정을 위해 온라인 리뷰 플랫폼을 이용한다. 하지만 온라인 리뷰 플랫폼과 같은 콘텐츠 공유 플랫폼은 사용자들의 자발적인 기여에 크게 의존한다. 그래서 온라인 리뷰 플랫폼 운영자는 사용자들이 리뷰를 쓰도록 동기를 부여하기 위해, 배지나 가상 재화를 제공하는 평판 기반 인센티브 또는 할인, 무료 제품 제공과 같은 금전적 인센티브 등의 인센티브 메커니즘을 사용한다. 특히 몇몇 리뷰 플랫폼은 고품질의 리뷰를 쓰는 리뷰어들을 선정하여 일정 기간 동안의 작성한 리뷰를 통해 재평가하는 재평가 메커니즘을 사용하고 있다. 이들에게 제공하는 인센티브 중 오프라인 행사에 초대될 수 있는 혜택이 있다. 오프라인 행사는 온라인 사이트의 성공 요소 중 하나로 뽑힌다. 그럼에도 불구하고 인센티브 메커니즘이 플랫폼 사용자에게 어떠한 영향을 미치는 지에 대한 연구가 활발히 진행되고 있지만 오프라인 행사가 사용자에게 어떤 영향을 미치는 지에 대한 연구는 없다. 본 논문에서는 오프라인 행사를 인센티브로 제공하는 Yelp의‘Elite Squad’231명의 약 9만개의 리뷰 데이터를 이용하여 오프라인 행사 참여가 기여 수준 및 의견 표현과 같은 사용자의 리뷰 작성 행동에 어떤 영향을 미치는 지 분석하고자 한다.

Uncertainty of Population Volatility and Regional Governments' SOC Investment Decisions

The purpose of this study is to demonstrate a theoretical framework that reflects the uncertainty of population volatility, urban residents' quality of life, and the option characteristics of SOC(social overhead capital) investments. Unlike orthodox theories, this framework can be adopted when regional governments make SOC investment decisions. Furthermore, the usability of the derived model is verified by a simulation. The core of the theoretical framework in the model is based on dynamic programming and real options theory. The structure of SOC investment decisions compares the critical population calculated by the derived model and the actual observed population so that the investor decides on whether invests in SOC projects or not. The model of SOC investment decisions in this study stresses both the need for more careful investigations of SOC investments than the orthodox methodology and the need to improve the efficiency of utility changes from SOC investments.

공유 공간 분석으로 체계화 오피스 디자인 : 공간 특성을 중심으로 하는 공간 디자인

The pandemic brought to young people have more difficulty in uncertainty about the future. Here come Martin Weizman's concept of the sharing economy and Lawrence Lessig's cooperative consumption shared by several people gathering in one space to start a business. Concepts and elements of shared space, organized and systematized, would be applicable to planning, design, and design in practice. This study discusses the main elements of space and the types of space among related studies. The 17 spatial elements selected through the discussion are presented as a system for shared space, which is divided into four groups: value, convergence, environment, and complement, centered on similarity. Based on this, a survey was conducted targeting design majors about the representative shared space Old Oak, WeWork, YOU+, and Potato Flower Studio. In the survey evaluation results, Old Oak scored an average of 3.9, WeWork scored an average of 3.8, Uplus scored an average of 3.7, and Potato Flower an average of 3.8. By item, community scored 4.3, interchangeability scored 4.2, purpose scored 4.1, and accessibility scored 4.0, and most items scored 3.7 or higher. Also, there were no problems with similar factors in the survey. Therefore, 17 keywords are valid. In analytical assessment access to value in value group, and exchange in information sharing community in mutual exchange and in convergence groups are the most fundamental element. In addition, according to the purpose of the study, the environment group emphasized flexible space utilization and access to the facility. The recharge and resort elements identified the need for a strategy centered around specific areas that could appeal to young entrepreneurs. It is hoped that a healthy shared space through this research will be an opportunity for young entrepreneurs to achieve their vision. 팬데믹(pandemic) 이후 젊은이들은 미래에 대한 불확실성에 더욱 어려움을 지니고 있다. 마틴 와이츠먼(Martin Weizman) 의 공유 경제에 대한 개념과 로런스 레식(Lawrence Lessig)의 여러 사람이 공유하는 협력적 소비로 하나의 공간에 모여 비즈니스를 시작하는 것이다. 공유 공간에 대한 개념과 요소를 정리하여 체계화로 실무에서 기획과 설계, 디자인에 적용할수 있는 것이다. 연구에 참고할 만언진, 김희재에 공간의 주요 요소와 안효진의 공간 유형에 관한 논의를 한다. 논의로 선정된 공간 요소 17가지를 공유 공간 요소를 유사성 중심으로 가치, 융합, 환경, 보완 4가지 그룹으로 하는 공유 공간에 체계를 제시한다. 이를 기준으로 대표적인 공유 공간 올드 오크(Old Oak), 위워크(WeWork), 유플러스(YOU+), 감자꽃 스튜디오에 대하여 디자인 전공자를 대상으로 설문 조사를 실시한다. 설문 평가 결과에서 올드오크는 평균 3.9, 위워크는 평균 3.8, 유플러스는 평균 3.7, 감자꽃 평균 3.8다. 항목별로 커뮤니티 4.3, 교류성 4.2, 목적성 4.1, 접근성 4.0이며, 대부분에 항목이 3.7 이상이다. 또한, 설문 조사에서 유사 요소에 대한 문제는 없었다. 그러므로 17개의 키워드는 유효하다. 평가에 분석은 가치 그룹에서 가치에 대한 접근성과 상호 교류에 커뮤니티, 융합 그룹에 정보를 공유하는 교류성은 가장 근본적인 요소이다. 또한, 환경 그룹에 프로젝트의 목적에 따라서 유연한 공간 활용과 시설 내에 대한 접근이 강조되었다. 재충전과 휴양지 요소는 젊은 사업가에게 호소할 수 있는 특정 분야를 중심으로 전략이 필요함을 확인하였다. 이러한 연구를통한 건전한 공유 공간이 젊은 사업가들에게 비전에 계기가 되기를 기원한다.

산업유산기반 창의적 도시재생을 위한 융합디자인사고 체계와 사례 연구

The purpose of this study is to conceive thinking framework that will help anyone who is worried about urban regeneration come up with a creative idea and to confirm its applicability through case studies. With the design thinking method developed by engineers and entrepreneurs as starting points, a fusion-design-thinking framework that can be utilized in urban regeneration is proposed. The fusion-design-thinking frame is conceived with synthesizing between the characteristic demands of urban regeneration activation plan, the uniqueness of industrial-legacy and the process of design thinking. Next, in order to confirm the usefulness of the fusion-design-thinking framework, the process of the remodeling of the Goyang Aqua Studio, which transformed the closed-water-purification-plant into the special effect studio, was analyzed. Unlike case studies that focus on success factors or business outcomes, this study focuses on the background, reason, and ideation process that led to the idea of ​​using the closed-water-purification-plant as a special effect studios. Goyang Aqua Studio was born as a result of addressing the utilization of the image of the closed-water-purification-plant, the characteristics of the physical facility, and the location factors as a means to energize the industrial ecosystem of broadcasting-image contents.
