Recently, Korean food culture has westernized and the consumption of meat has been increased. As a result an enormous amount of disposal of bone is generated and most of them are buried without reutilization. By making bone ash using pig bone, the possibilities of application are examined. The purpose of this study is to establish a manufacturing process of bone ash for the celadon bone body using pig bone. The calcination of the pig bone was mostly to change to the calcium phosphate hydroxide $(Ca_5(PO_4)_3OH)$. The celadon body mixed with pig bone ash 8%, $CaCO_3$ 9%, when fired at $1240^{\circ}C$ under reduction atmosphere, shows 0.1% of water absorption, 65.23 MPa of bending strength.

People could not imagine living without tab water. However, the water filtering process at a purification plant used to produce tab water creates tons of sludge, which is generally wasted. This sludge waste consists of (1) mineral elements, such as sand, (2) organic materials, and (3) a coagulant, which agglomerates the two. As an enormous amount of sludge waste is generated every year, numerous studies have been carried out to identify how to deal with this problem. Currently, however, most of the sludge waste is directly discarded in landfills. In the present study, water-purified sludge waste received a heat treatment at $1300^{\circ}C$ and was then ground into particles to be used as a ceramic material. Next, the resultant particles were compounded with chamotte substitutes to produce grogged clay that is suitable for wheel-throwing ceramics. Consequently, the plasticity of the sludge waste decreased as the content of calcination increased. Thus, it is considered that wheel throwing is available only up to PBF-3. Thus, it is available for wheel throwing and has a high strength of 864 $kgf/cm^2$ with less than 0.2 percent of porosity and absorption ratio were displayed in PBF-2 at $1280^{\circ}C$ with 20 percent of calcination from the purified sludge. Therefore, the PBF-2 body produced in this study was considered to be capable of replacing grogged clay in the market.

This paper aims to design a variable-stiffness type economical safety joint for service robots. The safety joint was designed to have a passive shock absorbing mechanism for protecting human from a catastrophic collision under service condition of robots. A simple mechanism composed of two action disks for switching the load transfer, a spring and a screw for pre-load was proposed. In order to evaluate the performance of the safety joint a testing platform which can carry out the static and impact tests was also designed and fabricated. From the test results, the designed safety joint was proved to have a variable load-carrying capacity and about 42% impact absorption capacity with simple manipulation of the control screw.

최근에 저가의 고분자전해질 연료전지(Proton Exchange Membrane Fuel Cells, PEMFC)용 비불소계 전해질 막 연구개발이 활발히 진행되고 있다. 본 연구에서는 PEMFC 운전 조건에서 Poly(arylene ether sulfone)(PAES) 막과 불소계막의 특성을 비교하였다. I-V 분극곡선, 수소투과도, 전기화학적 표면적, 막저항 및 부하 전달 저항 등을 측정·분석했다. PAES 막은 상대습도 100%에서는 불소계 막과 비슷한 성능을 보였으나 낮은 상대습도에서 이온전도도가 낮아 성능감소가 컸다. Recently, there are many efforts focused on development of more economical non-fluorinated membranes for use in PEMFCs (Proton Exchange Membrane Fuel Cells). In this study, characteristics of poly(arylene ether sulfone)( PAES) were compared with fluorinated membrane at PEMFC operation condition. I-V polarization curve, hydrogen crossover, electrochemical surface area, membrane resistance and charge transfer resistance were measured. PAES membrane showed similar performance compared with fluorinated membrane at 100% relative humidity, but the performance of PAES membrane decreased largely due to low ionic conductivity at low relative humidity.

저자들은 비전격성 형태로 발현된 급성 A형 간염으로 인한 급성 신부전을 경험하였다. 환자의 임상 경과와 병리 소견을 알기 위해 실시한 신조직 검사에서 급성 신부전의 특징적인 조직 소견인 급성 신세뇨관 괴사를 확인하였고, 광학 현미경 소견에서 IgA신병증 그리고 면역 형광 염색에서 과막증식 사구체 신염을 확인하여 역으로 만성 B형 간염으로 인한 신병증도 함께 진단할 수 있었다. 이후 실시한 혈액 투석으로 신기능이 회복된 예를 경험하였기에 이를 보고하는 바이며 이런 환자에서 특별한 금기가 없는 한 신조직 검사를 실시하는 것이 환자의 임상경과를 알고 치료하는데에 도움이 된다 하겠다. Hepatitis A is usually a self-limited liver disease that is treated conservatively. Acute renal injury complicating acute hepatitis A in the absence of fulminant hepatic failure is rare. We experienced a 33-year-old man who was healthy, and did not know that he was a hepatitis B virus (HBV)carrier with non-fulminant hepatitis A. He developed an acute kidney injury that necessitated dialysis therapy and a renal biopsy. He recovered within about 1 month. Pathologically, the renal biopsy showed acute tubular necrosis. It also showed IgA nephropathy and mesangium proliferation with glomerular nephritis, which are seen in chronic viral hepatitis B. We describe the association of acute hepatitis A with acute kidney injury and report the pathological findings of a renal biopsy related to chronic hepatitis B in an acute hepatitis A patient discovered by chance. 고분자 막 성능 평가 및 내구성 평가에 이용하기 위해 고분자전해질 연료전지(PEMFC) 구동 중에 수소 크로스오버 측정이 필요하다. 수소 크로스오버 측정 시에 불활성 기체 대신에 공기를 cathode에 공급하면서 기체 크로마토그래프로 수소 농도를 cathode 출구에서 분석하였다. PEMFC 구동 중 고분자 막을 통과한 수소는 cathode에서 산소와 반응해 불활성 가스를 공급할 때에 비해 수소 농도가 감소하였다. cathode 공기 공급 유량이 증가하면 수소 농도가 감소했고, 셀의 온도와 습도, 압력이 증가하면 cathode의 수소 농도는 증가했다. 일반적인 PEMFC 구동 조건에서 120 mA/㎠ 전류밀도에서 수소농도는 약 5.0 ppm이었다. To evaluate the performance and durability of membrane, measurement of hydrogen crossover is needed during PEMFC(Proton Exchange Membrane Fuel Cells) operation. In this work, concentration of hydrogen at cathode was analysed by gas chromatograph during operation suppling with air instead of inert gas into the cathode. The hydrogen permeated through membrane reacted with oxygen at cathode and then the concentration of hydrogen was lower than in case inert gas was supplied. Hydrogen concentration decreased as the flow rate of air increased at cathode. Increase of temperature, humidity and pressure of anode gas enhanced the hydrogen concentration at cathode. The hydrogen concentration was about 5.0 ppm at current density of 120 mA/㎠ during general PEMFC operation.

본 연구의 목적은 활성화되어 있는 천안 종합버스터미널 상업지역과 침체된 천안역 상업지역의 도심환경 인 식 차이에 대한 분석을 통하여 천안역 상업지역의 이용자 만족도에 영향을 미치는 도심 환경요소를 찾는데 있다. 요 인분석을 통하여 도심환경 요소들은 보행환경의 쾌적성, 상업·업무시설이용의 용이성, 도심환경의 쾌적성, 대중교통 접근성, 거리디자인(상징성) 등으로 분류되었다. 천안역 상업지역의 만족도에 상대적으로 크게 영향을 미치는 도심환 경요인은 보행환경의 쾌적성과 상업·업무시설이용의 편리성인 2개 요인들인 것으로 분석되었다. 따라서 향후 천안역 상업지역의 활성화를 위한 사업시행 시 보행환경이 쾌적하게 유지될 수 있도록 개선이 필요하며, 상업·업무시설인 은 행이나 복합쇼핑몰 등을 효과적으로 배치할 수 있는 방안을 찾을 필요가 있다. The aim of this study is to analyze the general satisfaction of the commercial areas near Cheonan central bus terminal and the rail-station and to extract various environmental factors of the city center which give effect to the user satisfaction of commercial area. As the result of the analyses, the environmental factors of the city center make a difference between the commercial areas of Cheonan central bus terminal and of the station in the aspects of user satisfaction. The user satisfaction of the commercial areas is appeared highest in 'comfort of walking environments' and 'convenience of commerce business transaction' which were environmental factors of the city center. For reactivation of the commercial area near Cheonan rail-station are needed improvement of walking environments and relocation of facilities as complex mall and bank etc.
SSD와 HDD가 결합된 하이브리드 스토리지 시스템 성능 평가 도구에 관한 연구

Benchmark tools have to generate traffic by dividing Hot and Cold area to analyze performance about hybrid storage system which is mixed with SSD and HDD. But, most of benchmark tool was designed with the logic which is generating traffic about total area of target disk which is single disk(SSD or HDD). As the reason, most of benchmark tool cant be used to analyze performance about hybrid storage system. Therefore, We designed performance analysis tool(HSPT : Hybrid Storage Performance Tools) which is generating traffic by dividing Hot and Cold area of hybrid storage system. To secure objectivity about developed tool, We compared a HSPT with VDBENCH which is existing typical storage performance analysis tool. The tool will be used by various types of hybrid storage system performance analysis to need generating multiple workload traffic with different property.
