The humans are under attack involving the hazardous environment and pathogen/biotoxin aerosol that is realistic concerned. A portable, fast, reliable, and cheap Pathogen and Biotoxin Aerosol threat Detection(PBAD) trigger is an important technology for detect-to-protect and detect-to-treat system because the man-made biological terror is a fast and lethal infection. The ultraviolet C(UVC) wavelengths light source is key issue for PBAD that is sensitive because of strong fluorescence cross section from fluorescent amino acids in proteins such as tryptophan and tyrosine. The UVC-light emitting diode(LED) is emerging light source technology as alternative to laser or lamps as they offer several advantages. This paper discussed about the design consideration of UVC-LED for the PBAD system. The UVC-LED and PBAD technology, currently available or in development, are also discussed.

This paper offer the characteristics for the detection and classification of biological and non-biological aerosol particles in the air by using laser-induced-fluorescence (LIF) based Bio-aerosol Detection System (BDS). The BDS is mainly consist of an optical chamber, in-outlet nozzle system, 405 nm diode laser, an avalanche photo detector (APD) for scattering signal and photomultiplier tubes (PMT) for fluorescence signals in two different wavelength range ; F1, 510-600 nm and F2, 435-470 nm. The detection characteristics, especially ratio of fluorescence signal intensity were examined using well-known components : polystylene latex (PSL), fluorescence PSL, $2{\mu}m$ of SiO2 micro sphere, dried yeast, NADH, ovalbumin, fungicide powder and standard dust. The results indicated that the 405 nm diode laser-based LIF instrument can be a useful bio-aerosol detection system for unexpected biological threaten alter in real-time to apply for dual-use technology in military and civilian fields.
초등영어 학습부진학생 지도를 위한 온 · 오프라인 혼합형 교수-학습 모형 개발

The purpose of this study is to develop a blended learning model for teaching lower leveled students in elementary English education in order to overcome their learning failure and run the lower level class. Through the outcome of the meta-analysis and the need survey of the elementary English teachers, the model was developed and modified. The blended teaching and learning model for the lower leveled students is based on ESAS(Engage-Study-Activity- Study) model. The ESAS blended teaching and learning model can support the lower leveled English class and suit their learning with repeated learning cycle. Once students are engaged in learning and activities, study is more activated and repeated study can reinforce their learning. Considering of the lower leveled students’ short concentration, many repeated and dynamic activities in the ESAS blended model can help students’ learning. First, the ESAS blended model helps the lower leveled students learn better by multisensory approach. Their attention sustained through the closely connected online and offline activities in one class. After the online learning, they study in the offline with multisensory approach again. Second, the ESAS blended teaching and learning model enables the students to study English in home as well as in school. This leads to the self-directed learning. In conclusion, the following suggestions are arisen. The online contents and teaching-learning materials which suit for the lower leveled students should be supplied sufficiently. The exclusive classroom for English is needed for the students to use the computer. Most of all the teacher’s patience and enthusiasm for lower leveled students are needed.
특수교육대상자를 위한 세계시민교육 주간 프로그램 운영에 관한 질적 사례연구

목적 본 연구는 특수교육대상자를 대상으로 운영된 세계시민교육 주간 프로그램 운영 사례를 통해 참여자들의 경험을 탐색하여 특수교육 현장에서 특수교육대상자를 위한 효과적인 세계시민교육 프로그램 운영 방법을 파악하는데 목적이 있다. 방법 이러한 연구 목적을 고려하여 사례에 참여하여 직접 세계시민교육 주간을 운영한 운영교사 9명과 세계시민교육 주간에 참여한 참여교사 13명을 대상으로 자료를 수집하였다. 수집한 자료는 운영교사의 현장노트, 반성적 저널, 평가회, 참여교사 후기이다. 수집한 자료는 모두 신뢰도를 확인하였고, 지속적 비교법으로 분석하였다. 결과 분석결과, 6개의 대주제와 20개의 하위주제가 도출되었으며, 도출된 대주제는 다음과 같다: (1) 세계시민교육 주간 자료 개발 방식, (2) 세계시민교육 주간 운영의 성과, (3) 세계시민교육 주간 운영의 반성적 사고, (4) 향후 운영에 관한 요구사항, (5) 세계시민교육 주간 신청 계기, (6) 세계시민교육 시행의 제약요인. 결론 본 연구에서 도출된 결과를 바탕으로 향후 특수교육대상자를 위한 세계시민교육 주간 프로그램 운영에 관한 논의 사항을 도출하였다. Objectives The purpose of this study is to explore the experiences of participants through the Global Citizen Education(GCE) Weekly Program operated for special needs students and to understand the effective operation method of the GCE Program for special needs students in the special education field. Methods According to the purpose of the study, data were collected from 9 operating teachers who participated in the case and 13 participating teachers who participated in the GCE Weekly program. The collected data were field notes of the operating teacher, reflective journals, and evaluation meetings, and the participating teachers' participation reviews. All the collected data were analyzed by continuous comparison method and reliability was confirmed. Results Six major topics and 20 sub-topics were derived: (1) Development of class materials for GCE Weekly program, (2) Performance of GCE Weekly program, (3) Reflective Thinking for GCE Weekly program, (4) Requirements for Future Operations, (5) The reason of GCE Weekly program Participation, (6) Restrictions on Implementation for GCE Weekly program. Conclusions Based on the results derived from this study, discussions on the future operation of the GCE Weekly Program for special needs students were derived.

Seborrheic keratosis is a common skin disease in the elderly, and when multiple lesions are present, scattered distribution is the rule. Here we present a case of seborrheic keratosis showing zosteriform distribution. The patient was a 41-year-old female whom since childhood presented multiple brownish or black colored papules on her right back. The papules were linearly grouped, thereby showing zosteriform distribution. The histopathologic findings revealed a typical acanthotic type of seborrheic keratosis. As we know, this type of distribution in seborrheic keratosis has not been reported so far. (Korean J dermatol 2004;42(3):356~358
