Recently, the need of ceramic material is increasing according to expansion of application area such as glass, quratz, sapphire for LED, ceramic condenser, and piezoelectric filter. Accordingly, machining process of Hard-slicing material such as ceramic is increasing, also. By using of normal slicing machine for slicing of hard-slicing material, chipping problem is induced. So, specfic slicing machine for hard-slicing material is required. In this paper, high precision slicing machine for hard-slicing material is proposed. This system has properties such as high efficiency by using arbor having multi-blade and high load capacity by using hydrostatic guide system.
자기장해석을 통한 카메라폰의 자동초점조절용 액츄에이터 개발

Auto-focus actuator, which is used to move a lens module in the mobile phone having a camera module, is developed. Camera module containing auto-focus actuator requires to minimize total size because of application area such as mobile phone, digital camera, and personal digital assistant. There are stepping motor, voice coil motor, and piezoelectric motor as auto-focus actuator. In this paper, voice coil motor having new electromagnetic configuration is proposed. And actuator using proposed voice coil motor is developed by magnetic field analysis and optimal design method. The size of developed actuator is reduced to 67.3% compared with actuator using previous electromagnetic configuration. From the performance test, developed actuator has moving stroke of 0.4㎜, full stroke current of 100㎃, and unit step motion of 10㎛.
구조해석 기법을 이용한 휴대용 용접 구조물 지지 장치용 조(Jaw)의 치 형상 설계

Deformation must be induced forcibly in order to compensate for the warpage that occurs during welding of large plates used in large structures. In the existing process, a powerful pushing jack was inserted between the support that acts as a pedestal and the plate that needs correction, and the process of correcting the plate was performed. When adjusting the steel plate to be welded, Jaw teeth are lodged in the iron plate and the bottom surface. In order for the teeth embedded in the steel plate to transmit sufficient force, the jaw should be designed to have an optimal tooth shape. In this study, the structural analysis technique was applied to design the tooth shape of the jaw to transmit the force required by the teeth embedded in the steel plate. The optimal tooth shape was selected by comparing the stress distribution and deformation amount due to the applied force for the three tooth shapes of jaw.
스마트폰에 사용되는 터치스크린 입력장치의 신뢰성 검사장비 개발

최근 핸드폰 제품이 일반 돔 키(dome key)를 장착한 모바일폰(mobile phone)에서 터치스크린(touch screen)을 장착한 스마트폰(smart phone)으로 급격하게 옮겨감에 따라 이들 제품의 압력장치 신뢰성을 검사할 수 있는 검사장비도 보다 정밀하고 다양한 사용자의 테스트 조건을 만족시킬 수 있도록 요구되고 있다. 본 연구에서는 스마트폰에 사용되는 터치스크린 입력장치의 신뢰성 검사를 위한 방법과 장비를 제안하였다. 개발된 스마트폰 입력장치의 신뢰성 검사장비는 돔 키의 측정을 위한 z 방향 공압 엑츄에이터와 터치스크린의 검사를 위한 x-y 방향 모터 스테이지 및 모터제어 및 I/0 신호처리를 위한 제어기로 구성된다. Recently, according to transform from mobile phone using dome key pad to smart phone using touch screen pad, reliability testing machine is required to satisfy the need of user test condition having precision and variation. In this study, reliability testing method and machine is proposed for touch screen input device consisted with z-directional pneumatic actuator for keypad and x-y directional motion stage for touch screen, controller for motor control and I/O signal process.
