본 연구에서는 유기용매에 저항성이 뛰어난 소재인 polyketone 고분자를 사용하여 열유도 상분리법(TIPS)으로 유기용매 저항성 중공사 분리막을 제조하였다. 희석제는 green solvent로 알려진 PEG300, DMSO<sub>2</sub>, glycerine을 사용하였으며, 이때 사용된 diluent에 따라 나타나는 구정형 구조를 가지는 고-액 상분리와 bicontinuous한 구조를 가지는 액-액 상분리를 관찰하였다. 전반적인 분리막의 특성은 SEM, 수투과도, 기계적 강도, 내화학실험을 사용하여 고찰하였으며, 본 연구에서는 다양한 희석제가 적용된 polyketone 중공사 분리막의 제조와 그 상호관계에 대해 심도 있게 연구하였다. Organic solvent resistant hollow fiber membranes were fabricated via a thermally induced phase separation (TIPS) method using Polyketone polymer, a material with excellent resistance to organic solvents. The PEG300, DMSO<sub>2</sub> and Glycerine called the "green solvents" were used as diluents for TIPS method. The spherulite structure was formed with DMSO<sub>2</sub> by S-L phase separation behavior whereas the bicontinuous structures were formed with PEG300 and Glycerine, respectively. The morphology of the PK hollow fiber membranes was investigated using SEM. The pure water permeability and the durability test were conducted to understand the permeation properties of PK hollow fiber membranes. The tensile strength test was conducted for the property of mechanical strength. In this study, the fabrication of PK hollow fiber membranes with various diluents was discussed to understand the correlation between diluent and polymer in detail.

This paper investigates the short- and long-run relationship among Korean, U.S. and Japanese construction indices. We conducted the Johansen`s cointegration test on the hypotheses that the construction indices of three countries are related in the long-run as well as in the short-run. The test results show that there exists no long-run relationship among three countries` construction indices. In addition, the cointegrating relation did not exist for three countries` stock market indices and five major Korean construction firms. It turned out that the U.S. indices Granger-causes Japanese and Korean indices. This finding implies that there may exist international diversification benefit ghrough forming a portfolio from these indices.

Background/Aims: To evaluate the technical feasibility of stereotactic body radiotherapy (SBRT) for hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) with the major portal vein tumor thrombosis (PVTT). Methods: Ten institutions affiliated with the Korean Stereotactic Radiosurgery Group were provided the contours of four cases: the first case was the first branch PVTT with sufficient normal liver volume (NLV), the second was the first branch PVTT with insufficient NLV, the third was the main trunk PVTT at confluence level, and the fourth was the main trunk PVTT with entire length. The institutions were asked to make SBRT plans according to their current treatment protocols and to complete facility questionnaires. Results: Based on institutional protocols, SBRT was feasible in nine institutions for the first case (32-60 Gy in 3-5 fractions), in eight institutions for the second case (32-50 Gy in 3-5 fractions), in seven institutions for the third case (35-60 Gy in 3-5 fractions), and in four institutions for the fourth case (35-42 Gy in 4-5 fractions). The other institutions recommended hypo- or conventional fractionation due to insufficient NLV or gastrointestinal organ proximity. With analysis of the SBRT dose to the central hepatobiliary tract, the major PVTT could theoretically be associated with a high risk of hepatobiliary toxicity. Conclusions: Although SBRT is a technically feasible option for HCC with the major PVTT, there was a variability among the participating institutions. Therefore, further studies will be necessary to standardize the practice of SBRT for the major PVTT. (J Liver Cancer 2018;18:130-141)

수압파쇄 기술은 가스나 석유, 지열 등 에너지자원의 회수율을 향상시키기 위해 다양한 분야에서 응용되고 있으며 수압파쇄 메커니즘 규명 및 응용분야에 대한 연구는 꾸준히 진행되어 왔다. 본 연구에서는 효과적인 수압파쇄를 위하여 실제 현장과 유사한 상황을 구현할 수 있는 축소모형실험을 통해 유도홈의 개수에 따른 수압파쇄시 균열발생 압력을 분석하기 위하여 수압파쇄 시험 장치를 구축하여 수압파쇄 시험을 실시하였다. 또한 그 결과를 토대로 물성과 역학적인 특성을 취득하여 3차원 개별 요소 프로그램인 3DEC을 이용한 수치해석적 모델링 값과 비교․분석함으로써 신뢰성 있는 결과를 도출하고자 하였다. 그 결과 유도홈을 이용할 경우 효과적인 균열 발생이 가능할 것으로 사료된다. Abstract Hydraulic fracturing technique has been applied in various fields in order to improve the recovery of energy resources such as gas, oil and geothermal energy and research about finding out hydraulic fracturing mechanism and application has been steadily proceeded. In this study, for effective hydraulic fracturing, a scale modeling was progressed to simulate similarly with the actual site. In order to analyze the development aspect of surface crack initiation pressure during hydraulic fracturing followed by different conditions, the number of guide holes hydraulic fracturing test was carried out by setting up a hydraulic fracturing test equipment. Also, through the result, we tried to derive reliable results by comparing and analyzing the value of numerical modeling which is obtained based on the physical properties and mechanical properties with 3DEC, a three-dimensional discrete element method program. As a result, it is considered possible to generate effective crack using the guide hole
동일한 상시 호흡량의 $N_2-O_2$ 및 Heliox 투여 시 가스교환지표의 비교

연구배경: Heliox는 기도 저항이 증가된 환자에서 분시환기량의 증가와 호흡일의 감소로 인해 $PaCO_2$가 감소함이 알려져 있다. 이러한 효과 이외에도 최고 호기 유량비의 증가와 가스 분포의 호전에 의한 사강 호흡률의 감소효과도 있을 것으로 기대된다. 이에 저자등은 공기($N_2-O_2$)호흡 시와 통일한 분시환기량과 호흡일의 조건에서 heliox투여로 $PaCO_2$가 감소하는지 연구하였다. 대상 및 방법: 호흡 부전으로 기계호흡 중인 환자 중 기관지 천식이나 상기도 협착이 있으며 근 이완제 투여로 자신의 호흡일이 없는 8명(남 : 여 =5 : 3, 평균 68세)을 대상으로 하였다. 연구는 각 15분씩 기저 $N_2-O_2$투여, heliox투여 및 washout순으로 진행하였다. Heliox는 Servo 900C기종의 저압입구(low pressure inlet)를 통해 공급하였다. 호흡 역학 지표는 CP-100 monitor(Bicore, USA)로 측정하였고 heliox 투여시 동일한 일호흡량 유지을 위해 $N_2-O_2$에 대한 상대유량 비로 상시 호흡량을 보정하였다. 사강 호흡률용 Bohr의 공식으로 구하였다. 결 과: 일호흡량, 분시환기량, 최고 흡기압 및 최고 흡기 유량 비는 $N_2-O_2$와 heliox투여 군 사이에 차이가 없었다. 최고 호기 유량 비는 heliox투여 군에서 ($0.52{\pm}0.19$L/sec) $N_2-O_2$투여 군($0.44{\pm}0.13$L/sec)보다 높았다 (p=0.024). $PaCO_2$는 heliox투여 군 ($56.1{\pm}14.1$mmHg)이 $N_2-O_2$투여 군 ($60.5{\pm}15.9$mmHg) 보다 낮았고 (p=0.027), 사강 호흡률은 heliox투여군 ($71{\pm}10%$)이 $N_2-O_2$ 투여 군 ($73{\pm}9%$)보다 낮았다. 결 론: 분시환기량과 호흡일이 동일한 조건에서도 heliox투여 시 $N_2-O_2$투여에 비해 $PaCO_2$의 감소가 관찰되며 이는 사강 호흡률의 감소와 관련이 있을 것으로 사료된다. Background: Heliox is known to decrease $PaCO_2$ in patients with increased airway resistance by increasing minute ventilation and reducing work of breathing(WOB). Besides these effect, heliox is expected to decrease functional anatomic dead space owing to improvement of peak expiratory flow rate(PEFR) and enhancement of gas distribution. We investigated whether heliox can decrease $PaCO_2$ even at the same minute ventilation (VE) and WOB with $N_2-O_2$ to speculate the effect of the heliox on the anatomic dead space. Material and Method: The subjects were 8 mechanically ventilated patients with asthma or upper airway obstruction(M : F=5 : 3, $68{\pm}10$years) who were under neuromuscular paralysis. The study was consisted of three 15-minutes phases: basal $N_2-O_2$ heliox and washout Heliox was administered via the low pressure inlet of servo 900C, and respiratory parameters were measured by pulmonary monitor(CP-100 pulmonary monitor, Bicore, Irvine, CA, USA). To obtain the same tidal volume(Vt) in heliox phase, the Vt on monitor was adjusted by the factor of relative flow rate of heliox to $N_2-O_2$. Dead space was calculated by Bohr equation. Results: 1) Vt, VE, peak inspiratory pressure(PIP) and peak inspiratory flow rate(PIFR) were not different between $N_2-O_2$ and heliox. 2) PEFR was higher on heliox($0.52{\pm}0.19$L/sec) than $N_2-O_2$($0.44{\pm}0.13$L/sec)(p=0.024). 3) $PaCO_2$(mmHg) were decreased with heliox($56.1{\pm}14.1$) compared to $N_2-O_2$($60.5{\pm}15.9$)(p=0.027). 4) Dead space ventilation(%) were decreased with heliox($73{\pm}9$ with $N_2-O_2$ and $71{\pm}10$ with heliox)(p=0.026). Conclusion: Heliox decreased $PaCO_2$ even at the same VE and WOB with $N_2-O_2$, and the effect was considered to be related with the reduction of anatomic dead space.
