        지문 퍼지볼트 시스템의 하드웨어 구현

        지문정보를 이용한 사용자 인증은 편리함과 동시에 강력한 보안을 제공한다. 그러나 유한개의 손가락 개수로 인해 패스워드처럼 변경을 자유롭게 할 수 없기 때문에 사용자 인증을 위해 저장된 지문정보가 타인에게 도용된다면 심각한 문제를 일으키게 된다. 지문정보를 안전하게 보호하기 위한 지문 퍼지볼트 시스템에 대한 연구가 활발히 진행되고 있다. 또한, 기하학적 해싱 기법을 적용하여 지문 정렬 문제를 해결하려는 연구도 진행되었다. 본 논문에서는 기하학적 해싱 기반 지문 퍼지볼트 시스템의 하드웨어 구조를 제안한다. 제안한 구조는 소프트웨어 모듈과 하드웨어 모듈로 통합 구성된다. 하드웨어 모듈은 등록 해시 테이블과 인증 해시 테이블의 변환 특징점의 정합을 담당한다. 실험결과, 제안한 하드웨어 구조의 수행 시간은 지문 특징점의 수가 36개이고 거짓 특징점의 수가 100개 일 때 0.2초, 400개 일 때, 0.53초이다. The user authentication using fingerprint information not only provides the convenience but also high security. However, the fingerprint information for user authentication can cause serious problems when it has been compromised. It cannot change like passwords, because the user only has ten fingers on two hands. Recently, there is an increasing research of the fuzzy fingerprint vault system to protect fingerprint information. The research on the problem of fingerprint alignment using geometric hashing technique carried out. This paper proposes the hardware architecture fuzzy fingerprint vault system based on geometric hashing. The proposed architecntre consists of software and hardware module. The hardware module has charge of matching between enrollment hash table and verification hash table. Based on the experimental results, the execution time of the proposed system with 36 real minutiae is 0.2 second when 100 chaff minutiae, 0.53 second when 400 chaff minutiae.

        산후 우울감을 보이는 산모에서 나타나는 전두엽 뇌파 비대칭에 대한 음악의 영향

        Objectives Postpartum blues is known to be a major risk factor for postpartum depression and can be associated with the problems of language skills, behaviors or learning skills of their children. Therefore, it is very important for clinicians to evaluate precisely and control postpartum blues. Recent studies have found that music has an effect on depressive mood and the frontal EEG asymmetry of the patients with depression. The purpose of this study was to find out the effects of music on the frontal EEG asymmetry of the mothers with postpartum blues. Method Among one hundred and seventy mothers assessed with Korean version of the Edinburg Postnatal Depression Scale (EPDS), nine mothers with postpartum blues (EPDS ${\geq}$ 10) as postpartum blues group and nine non-depressive mothers (EPDS < 10) as non-depressive mother group were included. Ten non-labored, non-depressive women were also included as a normal control group. The subjects were evaluated with the State Trait Anxiety Inventory (STAI)-X1, the Visual Analogue Scale (VAS) and the Depression Adjective Checklist-Korean version (K-DACL) and EEG twice before and after the music sesssion with the length of twenty minutes and thirty two seconds. The statistical analyses were done for A1 score (log R - log L) which were computed from the alpha powers at F3 and F4. Results No significant difference was noted in demographic data among all three groups. The postpartum blues group had higher scores in the STAI-X1, the VAS and the K-DACL compared to the other groups at baseline, and their A1 scores were lower than those of only normal controls. There was a statistically significant increase of A1 score only in the postpartum blues group after the music session. Conclusion This study suggests that the mothers with postpartum blues may have a frontal EEG asymmetry which is possibly associated with their depressive mood, and the music session can affect the frontal asymmetry positively.

        Numerical investigations have been carried out to analyze flow field characteristics around manganese nodule mining device in deep sea. Flow field is largely affected by moving mining device. With the operation of the mining device complicated flow variation remarkably generated from the rear of mining device depends on moving speed of the mining device. Turbulent kinetic energy behind the mining device gradually increases with the velocity of mining device. The nodule particles behavior is also predicted.

        갑상선 결핵과 동반된 유두 갑상선 암종 환자 1예

        Thyroid tuberculosis with papillary thyroid carcinoma is very rare. The current study shows the case of a 67-year-old female who was admitted to Ansan Hospital of Korea University, with her thyroid nodules showing signs of malignancy under ultrasonography. A histopathological examination proved the coexistence of papillary thyroid carcinoma (PTC) and thyroid tuberculosis (TB). A total thyroidectomy and excision of the enlarged left neck level II lymph node were performed. This report presents a rare case of coexistence of PTC and thyroid TB. Further investigation is needed to evaluate the possible role of PTC in thyroid mycobacterial infection.

        스테인리스강 용접부 검사를 위한 분할형 Flexible PAUT 탐촉자의 적용성 검증

        발전소 튜브 및 파이프 형상은 주변 설비와 사용 환경에 의해 다양한 구조로 형성되어 있다. 용접부의 여러 형상 중에서 분기관은 현재까지 비파괴검사에서 주어진 공간적, 환경적인 원인으로 인해 비파괴검사의 적용이 어려워 재료의 건전성을 확인하는 측면에서 검사한계점을 가지고 있다. 특히, 용접부의 재질이 일반 페라이트 재료에서는 초음파의 입사에 대응하는 최소 접근만으로도 검사 가능한 부재가 일부 존재하지만 오스테나이트 조직의 결정입계로 형성되어 있는 스테인리스 재질의 분기관의 경우에는 두께 방향의 전체 용접부를 체적검사하기에는 어려움 있다. 본 연구에서는 이러한 문제점을 해결하고자 Flexible PAUT 송신/수신용 32CH 탐촉자를 설계/제작하였다. 이 탐촉자는 다양한 곡률을 가진 용접부의 분기관 형태의 검사 대상체에 대하여 단일 탐촉자에서 송, 수신이 가능하도록 개발되었으며 탐촉자의 성능 및 검사대상체에 대한 유용성을 검증하고자 곡률이 형성된 스테인리스 재질의 배관 용접부 시험편을 제작하였고 여기에 대표적인 제작결함 및 인공적인 불연속 지시를 통한 성능 검증을 수행하였다. 이러한 검증을 통해 곡률을 가지는 검사 대상체에 개발된 Flexible PAUT 탐촉자의 타당성 및 유용성을 검증하고자 하였다. In power plants, tube and pipe shapes of various forms are used depending on the surrounding equipment and environment. The different shaped fittings currently employed in weld zones, have limitations when nondestructive tests (NDTs) are conducted to determine material integrity; these limitations are due to their poor NDT applicability arising from spatial and environmental problems. In particular, when the weld zone is formed of a general ferrite material, some members can only be tested by the minimum approach corresponding to the incidence of ultrasonic waves. However, for stainless steel fittings containing austenitic grain boundaries, it is difficult to perform a volumetric test on the entire weld zone in the thickness direction. In this study, a 32-channel probe for flexible phased array ultrasonic testing (PAUT) transmission/reception was designed and fabricated to address this problem. This probe was developed to transmit and receive in a single probe for test objects as fittings in a of weld zone with various curvatures. To investigate the probe performance and the test object usefulness, a stainless-steel pipe weld zone specimen with curvature was fabricated. The performance was evaluated by examining typical natural defects and artificial indications of discontinuity. In this study, we attempted to verify the validity and the usefulness of the flexible PAUT probe developed for a test object with curvature.

        UPLC를 활용한 데리스 추출물 함유 유기농자재 중 Rotenone과 Deguelin 정량분석

        BACKGROUND: Three commercial biopesticides containing derris extract, which is permitted as a commercial biopesticide substances by the Environmentally-friendly Agriculture Promotion Act, have been marketed in Korea. But, the quantitative analytical method of active substances for crop protection in biopesticides containing derris extract has not known. METHODS AND RESULTS: Solid phase extraction (SPE) cartridge clean-up method for the quantitative analysis of rotenone and deguelin in biopesticides containing derris extract was developed and validated by ultra-performance liquid chromatography (UPLC). The clean-up method was established using hydrophilic lipophilic balance (HLB) SPE cartridges for the bioactive substances in biopesticides containing derris extract, and the eluate was analyzed to quantify the rotenone and deguelin by the UPLC. LOQ and recovery rates of rotenone and deguelin were 0.085 and 0.044 mg/L, 95.7 and 93.3%, respectively. The content of rotenone and deguelin in three biopesticides containing derris extract were analyzed by the developed method, the results showed 0.001-0.236 and <LOQ-0.258%, respectively. CONCLUSION: The developed method could be applicable to determine the active substances and to control the quality of commercial biopesticide containing derris extract.

        일본 지자체 민관파트너십(PPP)사업의 추진유형과 시사점 - 일본 요코하마시를 사례로 -

        현재 우리사회는 소득수준, 복지, 여가 등에 대한 기대수준이 향상되고 지방화, 분권화가 급속히 이루어지고 있다. 하지만 사회간접자본 시설에 대한 국민적 수요가 증가하는 데 반해 정부재정은 이러한 요구를 수용하기 어려운 상황에 처해있다. 이에대해 일본의 요코하마시는 민관파트너십을 통해 민간부문의자본, 지식, 노하우를 활용하여 민관협력사업의 효율과 효과를 증대시키며 사회기반시설을 확충·개수·운영·관리를 한다. 본 연구는 일본 요코하마시의 민관파트너쉽 사례를 소개하고 우리나라의 민관협력제도에 적용하는 데 도움을 주고자 한다. 이를 위해 일본의 PPP의 유형과 내용, 시설 소유, 자금조달, 수입측면, 행정개입정도, 도입사례를 살펴보았다. 일본의 민관파트너쉽은 지방정부에서의 적용성이 높고, 지역특성을 최대한 활용한 복합개발 및 수법의 다양성이 있으며, 사업의 명확한 역할정립으로 단기성과보다는 지속가능성을 고려하였다. 일본의 사례를 통해 PPP는 단순히 민간의 자본을 유치하여 사회기반시설을 조성하는 것에 그치지 않고 민간의 창의와 효율을 유입시키는 의의도 지닌다... In our current society, the level of expectation about income level, welfare, leisure, etc. has been elevated. In addition, localization and decentralization are other obvious features in this society. However, while public demands for ``SOC facilities`` are increasing, government finances cannot afford to accommodate these demands. To solve this problem, Yokohama city, Japan, uses public private partnerships(PPP). Private sector capital, knowledge, and know-how can help to increase efficiency and effectiveness of PPP projects, and through these partnerships Yokohama city has been able to expand and administer its infrastructure. This study introduces the case of a PPP in Yokohama city, Japan and also uses its implications to help S. Korea to apply Yokohama``s example to their PPP policy. In order to achieve this, our study investigates Yokohama``s PPP; the types and contents, facilities, funding, income, degree of administrative interventions, and cases of inducements. Some features of Yokohama``s PPP are as follows. It is easy to apply to local government. It makes the utmost use of regional characteristics which leads to mixed-use development and diversity of business. It allots each part a clear role in businesses for sustainability rather than short-term achievement.         국내 논토양 및 밭토양 중 농약유래 잔류성유기오염물질의 노출량 평가

        BACKGROUND:This study was conducted to investigate residual organochlorine pesticides (ROCPs) in agricultural soils and crops. Agricultural soil samples and crop samples were collected from 93 cities and counties. METHODS AND RESULTS: Extraction and clean-up for the quantitative analysis of ROCPs were conducted by the modified quick, easy, cheap, effective, rugged, and safe (QuEChERS) method. Recovery and limit of detection (LOD) of ROCPs in agriculturalsoils and crops were 76.5-103.0 and 75.2-93.2%, 0.01-0.08 and $0.10-0.15{\mu}g/kg$, respectively. Detected ROCPs in agricultural soils were ${\alpha}$-endosulfan, ${\beta}$-endosulfan, and endosulfan sulfate, the residue were 2.0-12.0, 1.2-53.1, and $2.2-329.8{\mu}g/kg$, respectively. But these pesticides in all green perilla leaf and green pepper samples were not detected. CONCLUSION: These results showed that ROCPs residues in agricultural soils were not as high as crop safety threatening.
